Sanam Balti in St. Helens

This was a great takeaway for Indian/Bangledeshi food for decades, a pretty respected place for its hot curries to be honest. Now its a shadow of itself kids texting and talking about you not in English, its a shame, myself and many others (inc next door) avoid it now and we travelled 7 miles to get there.

Ordered from here simply cause it was close ...... got there- wasn’t convinced as the shop / counter area does need some tlc. Got home with my food ( great value for money by the way ) - Amazing food. Not even finished my curry before writing this :) Be back again. Thank you

Cannot give this enough stars. Always fantastic food and great sized portions. Ok the place looks a bit tired and there only ever seems to one person working but so what. You want good food and good prices and you’ll never be let down going here. Best Indian take away ever.

Surprised to see no reviews for this take away. It has been established for many years and over time has served very good take away food. Our most recent trip was April 2019 and the food was as expected, served on time and they always give away free poppadoms. The prices are very competitive, a meal for 3 costing £25! Great Value and friendly service.
