Sam's Chicken in Birmingham

My favourite food place in Birmingham The staff here are just absolutely lovely Especially the guys Very polite, always smiling and always up for a chat here and there Food is 10/10 Always hot and fresh Been coming here since 2020 never had a bad experience had to go to another chicken shop last night and it’s given me stomach pains. I never get that with this place because everything is fresh Highly recommended The box meals And the loaded menu is Highly recommended Along with the chocolate fudge cake and the wraps

I had waited for my food for more than an hour and was very hungry. By the time my food had arrived it was partially cold.

10/10 absolutely piping hot very fresh plenty of sauce as requested and filled the box up with chips packaged really well fast delivery still my number one place in Birmingham for food

It was okay. The fries were soft but still tasted nice. The burger was a little dry and there wasn’t much seasoning to the chicken on the burger. The wings had a bit more flavour but I would say it was quite average. The packaging was okay but the box deal meant the wings and chips and burger were all together and I think it meant it didn’t travel well. I wouldn’t go out my way to go to this one again as there are other better options.

Although the order was delivered quicker than the estimated time, the food wasn’t great. The chips were soggy and cold, the burgers and chicken strips were dry and the sauce tasted of vinegar straight from the bottle. Won’t be ordering again unfortunately as most was thrown in the bin.

We ordered 3 blaze burgers and spicy wings, the wings were still pink in the middle, the blaze burgers were half empty it looked like they’d used a chicken select and the fries were stale like they’d been out for hours

Food was cold and I paid 5 pounds for 3 strips what was so small. Was like pop corn chicken . Won’t order again guys poor quality this time around I would like a refund tbh

Brilliant service I ordered food 20 minutes before closing they still accepted and even though it came 15 minutes after they closed they got the food to me still really hot and fresh 10/10 as always💛💛💛💛

We were hungry, so the early delivery was perfect timing for us!😊 The food was delicious, as usual, but the loaded rice with hot mayonnaise was fantastic, "the cherry on the cake"! These words being said, I want to thanks to all the Sam's Chicken team!👍👏👏👏

I recently visited Sam's Chicken Shop, and it was easily one of the worst dining experiences I've ever had. The customer service was absolutely appalling—rude, unhelpful, and downright unprofessional. The staff seemed more interested in chatting among themselves than attending to customers, and when they did, it was with a terrible attitude. What made the experience even worse was the shocking revelation from one of the employees who casually mentioned that the chicken being sold had been sitting out for more than three hours! It’s no surprise that the food was cold, stale, and tasted like it had been reheated multiple times. This is a serious health concern, and I’m honestly surprised this place hasn’t been shut down by health inspectors. To top it all off, there was an incident of violence that occurred during my visit. A disagreement between a customer and one of the staff members escalated into a physical altercation right in the middle of the shop. It was terrifying to witness, and it left me and other customers feeling extremely unsafe. Overall, my visit to Sam’s Chicken Shop was a complete disaster. Poor service, questionable food safety, and a hostile environment make this place one to avoid at all costs. Save your time, money, and health by going somewhere else.

Very dry food and will likely not order ever again. Very disappointed with this Sam’s order. Hopefully my review can be used to improve it’s services for customers.

I would recommend as a better value alternative to KFC. My dips were free and they had Dr Pepper which most chicken shops don't.

Driver was rude when I told him some items were missing and I kept ringing the number and no answer for a hour straight

The food was overall decent. The chicken was succulent and tasty, the rice wasn't tasty it was plain.

I've been a regular customer for years and usually I enjoy my food and the potion sizes are good. But today I was surprised by how small the chicken legs were, and there was less rice

says spicy chicken absolutely appalling no taste at all, on the burger i asked for sams special sauce I got a smelly mayo that tasted sour, left the lot chips were soggy and we'll not enable, very disgusting 😑

Twice I have ordered the steak burgers & twice you have delivered chicken burgers. Not sure if it’s a issue with the online menu or a mistake your end but very frustrating when trying to orde for kids.

food was awful I ordered a blaze box meal which contains a spicy burger a d two spicy wings. the burger was bland no flavour at all and the wings weren't even spicy KFC has more spicy kick to it. I would even feed this food to my cat. wste of money please avoid and you can thank me later. only good thing they manage to do was come on time and that's it. keep the money I don't want a refund but I won't be ordering from you again.

We ordered a meal deal plus extras and only fries were delivered. We told the driver on delivery who went back to get the rest of the food. He then just delivered chips again. When I called to complain I was told they had no drivers so I’ll have to wait an hour for the rest of the food (it had already been over an hour waiting at this point!!). Do not order if you want to actually receive your food.

This is the new KFC, forget KFC, this is the new stuff. I have never went there ever and I saw the Devil's box which was 3 wings, a massive chicken burger and it has massive chicken in there and chips and a drink. The burger chicken was so massive it kept falling and I kept eating them after I even had some left over for when I got back, the staff are helpful and funny, also before I went to eat a kind women cleaned the table and chair for me. Definitely go there and if you see the Devil's box definitely order it!

Food was estimated to be delivered between 5.40pm and 6pm, when the food hadn't arrived by 6.15pm I phoned the shop and there was no answer at all. Tried again 10 mins later and was told the driver was on the way....finally arriving at 6.40pm, food was cold and uneatable really, rang the shop to complain but no one answered. I will never order food from this business again

This is actually the best place to get burger. I’m not a big burger fan but this one is worth every bite. The chicken is very tasty too. Not too oily and the right portion of salt

If you’re thinking about ordering from here, I suggest you do best food around prices have gone up quite a lot recently however it’s still cheaper than KFC and you get more portions than KFC Highly recommend the box meals they will definitely fill you up

Chicken not cryspy at all so soggy and disgusting Chips is soggy t.The burgers buns so wet and the chicken inside it under cooked and no flavour. So disgusting never order from here again

Food was cold and no hash brown on my burger

My food was cold as was 30 minutes late

The chicken burgers were about as thin as a piece of paper and the hash brown was 4 times thicker. I basically got a hash brown burger with a slice of chicken. You only get one chance. We'll never order from here again.

Food arrived stone cold. Had to reheat before we could eat. Chips were oily and undercooked.

Ask for the rice bowl that contains coleslaw or at least it should i ticked no sauce can i just say coleslaw is a food not a sauce the rice and the chicken was only just warm as well, not happy at all

I feel order was late, as the restaurant is hardly 8 mins away from me, and my previous Grievance was not addressed, which had too less meaty pieces and max bony pieces. I assumed there maybe some mistaking so I didn't bother much, as I liked the taste, but yesterday 1 piece was not cooked as there were pinkish blood at the top and bottom joints after I took a bite..

Couldn't be bothered cooking and this was the cheapest takeaway I could find. With no minimum order required means less than £10 for a takeaway, including delivery. Can't complain at that. The chips are so good! I'd order from here again for the chips deffo. The rest of my food was luke warm/cold but was still tasty so I would definitely try here again. Its nice to see a takeaway that has low prices so people on a budget can have a night off from cooking. Thanks

Ordered 2 chicken fillet burgers, the bread roll was very dry and it looked nothing like the picture advertising it, with crisp green lettuce - it was a tiny bit of chopped up soggy lettuce, not happy with false advertising!! However, the chicken fillet was hot and hot apple pie lovely, although a little greasy.

Food was vile and cold… so annoyed about 12.99 the order cost me for the whole thing to be thrown in the in. Chicken undercooked and cold and the wings were literally freezing…. Chips don’t even taste cooked just soaked in oil. Will never order from here again and advise anyone to not buy this food

Food got delivered to rong adress but once called they sorted me a fresh order and was really nice and the man on the fone who sorted it couldn’t be better really apreciate how quick my food came he even rang to apologise again and to tell me my order was on its way will definitely be ordering again

The delivery driver was very nice and courteous doing his job. The food itself didn’t taste good, the chicken tasted stale and chewy and tbh I threw most of it away which is a shame considering the price of it all. Probably wouldn’t order from here again.

Chicken strips was dry and just warm, popcorn chicken was dry n tasted weird, chips tasted if old oil...food is usually very good so not sure what happend today, gutted as I prefer these over KFC as not over salty...hopefully better next time.

Burgers were very badly squashed, like they’d been sat on, lettuce was very soggy. Chicken wasn’t crispy. The French fries were the only good thing, sorry.

came here last friday for a early lunch. had a mini mix feast and it was lovely. i did say i was eating in but the man gave it to me as a take out. apart from that its a great place to eat
