Lovely food and great menu..highly recommended 👌

Stopped off here on the way up to Belfast Saturday last week. I ordered a pizza, unfortunately it was possibly the worst pizza I’ve ever had in a restaurant. I know it’s not a pizza house renowned for pizza, but this was very poor. For £16 ouch. Was with family and kids, so didn’t complain. They weren’t overly impressed with food either. Staff otherwise very nice and professional with everything.

We just had a dinner in that restaurant, the "Sharing Meet plater" £35. It was all fried in the frier, even the sweetcorn. You can clearly see the oil it was cooked in wasn't fresh. The salad was awful with the dirty partly rotten leaves. I think we won't return there again.

First time today, 15th Aug 2024, for a family catch up, excellent food, the Ruben sandwich was superb, I forgot to take a photo alas, the service staff were very attentive to my wife's allergies and the kids had a ball. We will return again. A very good menu and a nice setting

Stopped into the Salt Kitchen after doing the Game of Thrones tour, and it did not disappoint. Staff were lovely, and the food was amazing. Will be back the next time we are in the area.

Just had an amazing time at salt kitchen. The food is amazing. There was a party of 5 and everyone of us really enjoyed our meal. I had the maple chilli chicken and the chicken just melted in my mouth. The atmosphere was so relaxed and the staff were so friendly. Would highly recommend

The food was fine. It wasn’t great but definitely not worth the price. We had the chicken honey burger thing and not an ounce of goats cheese to be had. It was more just mayo - it was pretty much a like a KFC burger. My partner had the lobster burger which was also ok.

Fantastic service, Very Friendly, efficient and they cater to dogs sitting outside.

I was here on Sunday with my wife and was disappointed with their service and food. They have all students serving, and not one of them has been trained to any degree of proficiency. Our starter was great, bbq wings. The mains were a different story. Who ever puts a tomato flavour of anything into a ceaser salad? That was just mine.

Disappointing for the price of food, 2 chicken tacos £17, 2 cold bland soft shells, and cold salad topped with generic shredded chicken. Could have been done with tangy slaw and fried tacos, except tasted like a warm salad wrap. Sweet potato fries are as every other restaurant serves. Dessert was more depressing than the soggy oreo on the cheesecake and at 7.50 a slice depressing

Food and service was 1st class highly recommended

We had a seafood sharing platter and it really hit the spot. The food here was really tasty and fresh

Ordered Nachos @£16.95 for that price you’d expect a little bit of toppings since their Nachos are store bought and not baked by the restaurant. Even though the food was not great, their staff was good.

Nice food and good atmosphere and service

We (my teen daughter and I) were so hungry on the day, and we picked up Salt Kitchen without knowing much about it! It is located on the far left of the shopping centre, it is a quiet spot and this was lovely because the centre was very noisy. It was a nice day, and the restaurant had an outside area that, luckily, had a table for 2 available. We got served fast, and we waited approximately a min for our drinks: a coffee and a sprite and a maximum of 15 min or less for our food. The portions are big: I went for chicken burrito and my daughter for crispy chicken. We loved the staff - very nice and efficient, they smiled and talked to us and answered every question about the food as we couldn't make up our minds on what to order. The staff deserves 100 stars! Food - tasty and nicely served. Large portions, but we ate it all! Facilities- clean and the option to eat outside add value. Distance from nike or Adidas shops - 5 min slow walk. We loved it , thank you, Salt Kitchen, for the pleasant experience.

Portions make no sense unfortunately. Fish, chips, curry sauce, tarter sauce and mushy peas costing £20 should be a decent size. Incredibly small fish, small bowl of chips and three shot glasses for the rest. Certainly no value for money unfortunately.

I was surprised by this Mall location that the food was so good. I'm usually not a fan of food joints next to malls. The food was great and portions were as well. They had a great staff just walking around checking on people's needs the entire time.

The staff here are what really stands out. Went this evening with my adult kids and the staff were fantastic. Had a cake for my son and they discreetly took it off me on the way in and brought it out with candles after our meal. They even sang Happy Birthday (I did gesture to sing low though because my son was a little mortified 😄). Most young people get a terrible rap a lot of the time and it's usually unwarranted, these guys were lovely, cheerful and very helpful, what a great bonus to this restaurant! The food was lovely, great vegan options albeit limited. Risotto was fab. The chunky chips were undercooked although hunger meant they were eaten! I did mention it when asked about our meal at the till & the the guy took off the price of dessert which I thought was very kind considering we didn't actually ask for new chips. Overall, a great experience with lovely young, polite staff who gave us a great service. We will definitely be back, it's such a nice chilled atmosphere, a great contemporary vibe without being pretentious. Thanks guys.

Great food and perfect for business lunch

Very busy so get there early also very warm in there if a sunny day. Food took over 40 mins but was nice from when we ordered. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Excellent food, very tasty. Staff were 1st class. We needed to sit outside as we had our dog with us but the seats were very wet due to rain. The staff dried our seats and provided blankets for us to sit on as well. Excellent customer service.

I’ve eaten at the Salt Kitchen a few times and it never disappoints. The squid tacos are excellent and the kids menu portions are very generous. Can’t fault the service either!

Easily the best burgers in the town, and amongst the best I've ever had. Can't recall a bad meal in the place no matter what time of day.

Frustratingly slow and disorganised service. Took an age for kids to be served, they brought food for two and the third waited a further 10 minutes and adults ten minutes after that. Pizza didn't seem very freshly made. We had to call wait staff over for every interaction. Advised wait staff one of the toilets had no toilet paper. A while later my daughter went to another cubicle and it had no toilet paper... surely you'd replenish all of the cubicles and not just one. My daughter's roast chicken was delicious. Oh and £1 for a glass of cordial is daylight robbery.

Had a really nice breakfast here, top class. Food was good, service was excellent and the staff were excellent as well. Would recommend!

Food was great. Nothing to get excited on the menu. But their daily specials are bang on. Celebrated our sons bday, Checked with the manager for a cake. He said he will take care of it and surprised us. So thoughtful… overall great spot if you are in Boulevard.

Good food. Lovely Burger. Asked for the pizza to be made a little crispy as was told the chef could not. I think ye need a new chef if ye can't do that. Base was undercooked but the topping was lovely. Hence 3 stars

We had a lovely lunch here. My husband had the Philly steak sandwich which was from the specials board . He raved about it . I had the soup and it was tasty enough. The staff were attentive and helpful. Well worth a visit .

Over from England to visit our family and wanted to take our Aunty out. We saw this place when visiting the boulevard and we are so glad we did. Easy access as she has a walking wheeled frame, disabled parking right outside. We even had the door opend for us as we approached. From the moment we walked in to the time we left, we were very well looked after. Service and food were AMAZING. Easy access toilets on the ground floor. We loved it, thank you so much. I had a special from the board, honey chicken and chilli with rice, it was delicious. We would definitely recommend this lovely place and will be back.

Exceptional staff. Very attentive, constantly asking if we needed anything. Atmosphere is very nice. Food was incredible! I wish we had taken pictures because the presentation was amazing. Ice cold beer on tap. Tobacco onions WHAT! Those things are so good and priceless I have never had anything like that before. The bacon on the burger blew my mind! Great place highly recommended!

Salt Kitchen has a great menu and service was speedy. The staff were very helpful. The food is good. The fajitas would have been easier to eat if it was on a plate. Coffee was lovely. There is plenty of parking outside. This is an excellent place to go if you are going to the cinema at The Boulevard.

Decided to try this restaurant with my granddaughter, inially got a good impression, opted for a couple of kid meal specials, 2 course £9 each, fair food and service thus far, We then waited for our deserts and waited fortuently we where not in a rush, ultimately had to go and ask for them, definitely not worth the wait ice cream very icey cake tough. To put cherry on cake I later realised that I had been charged,, some may say overcharged, £4.50 for a coke..

Child friendly. Staff very attentive. Suggested food for our baby and brought down promptly. Very clean and menu had a good selection. Would definitely go back!

Well situated, spacious, clean, comfortable and has good quality service. We were in a party of three and all three meals were problematic. The pizza listed in the menu as being vegetarian was not vegetarian (more details below), the battered fish was overcooked and had hard batter, and the vegetarian option provided for the 'All day brunch' was not the equivalent of the regular option, and was missing soda bread and potato bread.

Food was absolutely gorgeous, all locally sourced and plenty of vegan and vegetarian options. The chips and the vegetarian fajitas were gorgeous.

Went for an impromptu dinner here with my daughter for her birthday. It was lovely!! The new menu is fab, staff were lovely and all in all it’s a great improvement.. will be back to try the charcuterie board!!

Have always enjoyed the food here but would never think of it for a Sunday lunch. Had the roast beef today and it was delicious. Vegetables cooked perfectly and beef lovely and tender.

Good clean decor. Had the chicken tacos which were great. Maybe just a bit more cheese and a mayo. Overall, had a great lunch. Would definitely go again.

Great food and excellent value for money

It was my first time here today, the staff were so friendly and there was a good variety of dishes to choose from. I opted for the surf and turf burger, that was one of the nicest burgers I have ever had! The chips were really nice too. Lovely relaxed atmosphere and the food came out quite quickly, can't fault anything. Highly recommend.

Really like this restaurant, the staff are really friendly and helpful. The food is very tasty. Also we never have to wait long to be served and the food is always hot, I hate it when food arrives warm or cold. Tried few different meals, the roast of the day is always delicious.

I used to go quite regularly when it was LinenHill. It was pretty good. I've been a few times now since it switched over to Salt Kitchen and I've noticed a distinct drop off in quality. Some of the food isn't fresh. Sometimes it feels like something a student would rack up after a night out. Maybe I just keep getting the stand in chef. Even a simple thing like they'd no single teapots so they gave me a large one, filled it up but only put one teabag in it. Yes the staff were pleasant but I smile at people who put that in reviews as if it's a bonus when it should be a given. Unfortunately I won't be back. Pity because it used to be good.

Visited with two friends on Thursday evening. What a lovely experience. Opted for the battered haddock. Absolutely cooked to perfection. But what impressed us most was the waiters. Two young men who knew their job so well. Very attentive but not a nuisance. Just proper good manners. Will definitely return. Keep doing what you are already doing.
