Went in August and got the Caesar salad and was amazed by the large pieces of fresh chicken in it and the presentation. Went back for the first time yesterday and was very disappointed to receive greasy battered chicken pieces in my salad instead of fresh chicken. the reason I chose the salad was cause I wanted something lighter and it was the first time Ive ever had fried chicken in a salad. Wouldn't order it again.

Great evening from start to finish! Service was outstanding - we chose small plates to share between us and every one of them were delicious. Cocktails were lovely and great recommendation for the wine from the list! Would recommend anyone to visit when in Newcastle!!

Visited Salir over the Christmas holidays. Really could not fault the food or service in even the slightest way. Perfectly sized and exceptionally tasty - ideal for a lunchtime snack. This place just keeps getting better.

We went for the Tipsy Tapas over the Christmas period. The food was really good and our drinks were flowing!

we only visit Newcastle 3 or 4 times a year an tried salir on new years eve . Best meals have had in long time highly recommend from style an location they have ticked all right boxes to be a high end restaurant . Will def be back

We called in for coffee & some soup, Salir did not disappoint. Homemade tomato soup and the homemade bread was delicious highly recommend!

What a pleasure to discover Salir in Newcastle. As parents without kids for the night we wanted a treat and we certainly got that. From the welcome to service to food and drink the whole evening was a pleasure. The tapas style dishes was a lovely sharing experience we especially recommend the squid and pork fritters. The onion rings side was also a knockout. The sisters who own the restaurant took their time to chat and nothing was too much trouble and we felt excited to return with family and friends. A must if you are in the area or even a trip would be worth it.

Walking into Salir and the atmosphere was so calming and cosy. The feeling of Christmas was all around and staff were so helpful. We decided to try the seafood chowder, well what can I say... it was the best chowder we ever experienced, the flavours and richness of the dish were delicious. I will be back soon with more friends.

Honestly the best tapas food we have had. Everything we ordered was beautiful and the service was excellent. Cocktails were amazing too. First time going and we can't wait to go back!

We have been very much looking forward to spending a relaxing evening tasting their tapas dishes that looked so delicious on their website. We finally got the chance to try them last night and they definitely did not disappoint. We ordered a selection 6 tapas dishes which included 3 vegetarian dishes, two fish and one chicken dishes, as well as garlic bread and chips. The food was so beautifully presented and every mouthful was packed with falvour. Tapas is such a great idea for offering the customers food that they can share and enjoy together. After a day at work, we really appreciated the relaxed atmoshepre at the restaurant and the service was very friendly. We'll definitely be back to taste more of the dishes from their menu. The cocktails looked great and hopefully next time we'll also try those.

Super friendly staff great tapa style dishes and good variety of drinks. An outdoor area is available. Premises is on the main street with easy access,there are carparks nearby but they can be full.

Went here Saturday evening , they took us in on short notice when booked up and went out of their way to make us enjoy this so much , food was absolutely beautiful, goats cheese beetroot salad was fine dining good , coctails to absolutely die for , cannot stress enough how good our experience here was 5stars

Everything was so good, the food was unreal, the cocktails were superb and the service was spectacular! My only complaint is that the desserts were overpriced for the amount I received.

Exceptional food..had salted chilli squid garlic prawns to start cod and Spanish tomato salad.. excellent must try with the chimmi churri.. Credit to all involved keep up the excellent work

Food was lovely, we ordered the small dishes, squid, dumplings, tandoori cod, prawn s with garlic bread, patatas bravas and Chunky chips. Everything was really nice including the sauces that complemted each dish. Cocktails were 2 for £15, they had a good selection, we had blueberry margarita, long island iced tea, whiskey sour and strawberry daiquiri, cocktails were so nice that we are going back again this week, to sample some more alongside some more of their food. Staff were quite friendly and attentive. Beautiful decor inside. Only downside for me was I would have liked a small salad option without the goats cheese and that is not priced at £13.

Great food and service and friendly helpful staff. We tried a selection of the small dishes, a sort of fusion between Spanish and Asian. Everything was delicious with a nice glass of wine to help it go down. We look forward to returning to try more.

In the newly opened salir, delicious tapas style meals, everything delicious, especially enjoyed cauliflower and squid, service was great, attentive and good humoured. Nice range of drinks, looking forward to another visit.

Great restaurant in Newcastle day or night. Went during the day with children and the staff couldn’t be more attentive, provided colouring-in and food was delicious - recommend the childrens goujons, bubblegum milkshake, hot chocolate and butternut squash soup. Clean with fab views of the Mournes. At night the atmosphere is elegant, tapas are amazing and plentiful, highly recommend - will be back!

I celebrated my wife’s birthday on Friday night at Froth tapas. Wonderful night. Great food with wonderful service. Can recommend this to anyone! Beautiful food with great surroundings. I will be back for sure!

Called in on Sunday. Weather was very cold plenty of people about ,so we called in for the first time I must say there apple crumble is to die for loved it will call again.

The food is always delicious, staff are helpful and friendly. It's our go-to spot after a nice walk round the mountains.

Froth looks deceptive from outside, but inside it's cosy, the staff are pleasant, helpful and efficient, and the food and drinks are top quality. It's very good value and marvellously well prepared. Highly recommended!

As a local living in Newcastle and hearing great reports about the Saturday Tapas menu - I booked a meal here to meet friends with my wife - great night - food on the Sat evening Tapas menu was exceptional, great service, nice atmosphere, a good selection of drinks - Peroni on tap, I enjoyed a nice red wine, (cocktail menu there also) - everything you’d want for a great meal out in Newcastle, along with attentive staff. Would thoroughly recommend!

Ended up going here at around 8pm on Saturday evening. Absolutely beautiful in the inside. Cocktails were absolutely amazing and food was unbelievable! Literally in love with the Parmesan fries 😍 however there wasn’t a great menu selection and the portions were rather small. Would definitely be back for cocktails and to try out breakfast and lunch menu

We stopped off at Newcastle after a hike and popped into this place for lunch as it was dog friendly. The two of us sat outside and were really pleasantly surprised - ordered the butternut squash coconut curry (vegan) and a beef burger and both were incredibly tasty, really appreciated the extra touches in the curry such as the seeds and my partner demolished the huge burger. The service was very friendly and efficient and they even gave my dog a free ‘pupacino’ so he left happy as well

Unexpectedly got a last minute table on a busy Saturday evening. Staff were more than happy to accommodate us and our dog (outside). Food was amazing taste and quality. Excellent cocktails. Staff were helpful and could not do enough for us. Will definitely be back next time I am in Newcastle. Best food in the town by miles. Lovely decor and good vibe about the place. Fab staff!

On the main street, but don't walk past it. This is a really friendly staffed cafe. Coffee and tea excellent. The scones are great too, and are really large, being well presented.

I think we visited on a bad day, service was slow with a limited menu, toasted sandwiches were burnt, the milkshake was good.

This place is great. The lemon scones and the latte are lovely and tasty. It's also in the best part of town. (I MAY be a little biased - I was brought up about 30 yards from here. May you be here for many years to come and make a LOT more people very happy.

Sat outside which was OK but the waiters seemed to forget we were there. had to ask for a menu then had to search for a waiter as we were ignored. It was only dessert and coffee but although tasty I felt it was overpriced and underwhelming service was poor

Given 5 stars by my son for their kids goujons and chips but that was only the start of it. Enormous scones, tasty cheesy garlic ciabatta and the largest poached egg and shredded black pudding salad with avocado ever. Roast pepper and fennel soup was also amazing, great venue and excellent service/cleanliness

I was visiting Newcastle with my wife and granddaughter walking the Main St " hungry and looking a place to eat .we crossed the bridge and came across the Froth Bistro . On entry I was greeted by a mannerly an very professional front of house .we were promptly shown to our table . After scanning the menu we decided to have 3 fish @ chips . I can speak for all 3 first glass .Cov 19 was adheared to .Try this place , good food , good prices "I'll be back

This cafe is incredibly luxurious. It has an absolutely massive range of products. There are paninis, donuts, scones and pretty much anything else that you can think of. It is in a really good area and the interior is very nicely done. This is one of my favourite places to visit whenever I go on holiday to Newcastle. I definitely recommend it!
