Saigon Restaurant (Only Order Online) in Aberdeen City

Not very impressed with this joint. Ordered delivery and they had not included my sons order. He's 8 and will only have the battered chicken balls. So trying to convince him to eat any of the other dishes was a write off. With no way of contacting the restaurant directly in order to resolve the issue. I had to go out to the nearest take away in order to resolve the issue myself. Completely defeating the whole purpose of ordering in food. Will not be ordering from them in future.

Crispy beef was a soggy mess. The restaurant doesn't have a correct phone number so you can't call them about anything. Order was late. They marked the order as delivered even though it wasn't and no way to contact them.

Ordered on Christmas Eve from Saigon Restaurant, to collect. Arrived at the specified collection time and the restaurant was closed down, in darkness. Phone number had been disconnected. I have been trying since to get a refund from Just Eat but all they say is “take it up with the restaurant” as it was an order for collection. I explained that the restaurant no longer exists, but they don’t want to know. Seriously disappointing

Utter rubbish food is awful down hill drastically Don't follow instructions to things like allergies In foods Seem to have the I don't care attitude over what happens if you are seriously ill over there food and offcourse Hiding behind online apps so u can't complain to them direct stay away at all cost Im surprised there are still in business

Had a family meal here last night. Found the staff to be ok, not over friendly but not rude. Basically just doing their job. Food was great tbh but we did not get everything we ordered. Biggest problem is the decor especially the carpet it is so discoloured and thread bare you cant actually tell what it should be. The initial impression is terrible.

i worked here but have now left as the way i got treated was horrible, used to get judged on my weight there as well! got told i was on the books but wasn’t even on the books! they also always smoke in the kitchen which used to make me feel so so sick! i’ve had to apologise to a few customers on how my boss treated them. Good food tho i will give them that.

Food was nice but very expensive was charge £3 for glass of Blackcurrant cordial with water £106 for 2 adults and 3 kids seats was very old hard and uncomfortable Was only Custmo Definitely will not return loads better around Aberdeen for the money

Either change of supplier or cooking food twice either way its got worse, different staff aswell no disrespect but you don't get the same atmosphere as before. But regardless off it being all you can eat for £25.80 can safely say next time I'll be trying out cosmos or awaiting the re opening of jimmy chungs. With there being next to no competition they will continue with the poor standard. I'm sorry for this but I won't be back until I see a review that can be backed up

The waitress called Bethany was rude when I asked her for help with the menu. She also over charged me with items I did not order on my receipt. I will not be back

Always a pleasure lovely food so fresh perfect every time although it disappoints me the waitresses don't get to keep a tip this bothers me. Still for food is my favourite restraunt , if staff kept theyre tips it would be a 5

Myself and my partner went in very excited to try Vietnamese food for the 1st time. We ordered a sharing starter, which was excellent. The waitress recommended we try another starter, which was excellent. We then asked for 2 main meals, here the problems started. The waitress tried to get us to go for the buffet, we said no thanks, so they gave us the buffet meal! When we tried in vain to explain what we wanted, it fell on deaf ears. They then charged us twice for 1 starter, when I questioned it they said they made a mistake, so they changed the bill and charged me more. What should have been a £43 billwe were charged £51 and they were not interested in listening to my queries. What ruined a night of excellent food was the charging method for food. Sorry I will not be back nor recommend it which is a Shane as the food was lovely

So infuriating, ordered through Deliveroo and waited the estimated time for delivery. That's came and went and 50 minutes after ordering I tried phoning the restaurant. After 12 attempts to call with no one answering, now hungry and its late at night, I've had to cancel my order and start again elsewhere with less options. Really disappointed.

The location was very dirty ..that carpet needs to GO asap and the dust in the bathroom! The food has nothing to do with vietnamise food its some sort of chinese mix with some other strange kitchen? The chicken soup was bad and the fish one had soo much salt and no other flavours! Vert disappointed and miss leading of expectations. I would suggest updates asap in the location and a better chef tbh !

The food is excellent. Prices reasonable. Staff quite friendly. One of my favourite places to go with family. The only thing I would suggest to owners is spend some money on replacing carpets and curtains, they have faded over time.

Plus un restaurant asiatique que spécifiquement vietnamien. Cependant la nourriture est bonne, on est bien servi et le prix est plus que correct lorsque le nourriture est à emporter. Un vrai coup de cœur pour l'équipe qui est très sympathique.

I ordered spicy crispy lamb and fried rice - the lamb was good but was swimming in a salty sauce. The fried rice was cooked perfectly but had just a few bits of egg and no vegetables. I expected better for 14 pounds.

Staff was extremely friendly. But it’s not AUTHENTIC VIETNAMESE it’s more of Chinese takeout food to be honest. Great presentation. But it’s not Vietnamese what so ever. The taste is very plain.

Extremely rude Tried to call to make a reservation, asked how the lady was doing and she said: "not interested" even though I only said my name and tried being nice. If being a nice human being is rewarded with rudeness, I don't even want to eat at this place anymore. Really don't understand how they can have stuff that rude, working in a customer facing environment. Mega disappointed.

I wanted to like this place. However possible the worst Singapore Noodles I have ever eaten. Dry, bland, awful! Chilli beef horrendous dry tired meet in over cooked batter.

It is a good place to go with a group of people! Buffett contains everything you can find in the menu! The staff are so kind and friendly! But the food just taste fine, not really outstanding!

I arranged to meet a couple of business customers no sooner had we sat down the waitress wanted our order I asked for more time during the next ten minutes we was asked to order three times by different staff its was almost like they wanted the table for other diners even though there was only two other tables taken we had the £22.80 all you can eat option our starters arrived and where very tasty the ribs where lacking meat but have to say the smoked corn chicken was tasty and succulent spring rolls ok satay good. We ordered several mains the drunken fish disappointing chilli king prawns to die for the golden chicken was good sizzling beef fillet also tasty and chicken curry good we also had rice and noodles overall the food was good well priced but service to quick for our liking

Okay, first ever time was two years ago I guess. Now I can say more. I was Tuesday evening with my boyfriend ;) We had option to order a lot and what we want. It's sad but I can't eat too spicy things, I get sea food soup but was extremely spicy, I had different less spicy Vietnam food, I loved chicken with coconut sauce and fried crab, that was amazing, duck was so tasty too and fried sea food, all things was so good. Also in restaurant you can feel cozy and warm. I really like it art on the walls and lovely music in background. Also working people was so nice and easy to talk. I hope I will back xx

This is the worse experience so far. Saigon vietnamese food is a complete lie. This is street chinese takeaway standard. Arrogant waiter, told us they serve genuine vietnamese cuisine. Genuine lie! Chinese take away across the road serve higher quality dishes!

Old style place, it was supposed to be a buffet but the waiter pushed us to take a dessert after only one order. Very noisy, and the food is really bad. You can still find worst, but keep your money and go somewhere else

Review for previous visit a couple of weeks ago and this week. The starters with prawns and squid on both occasions suggested that the seafood was not as fresh as it could have been. The was a definite fishy smell and taste. The chicken wings batter that was served was very hard and brittle. They looked like they had been overcooked in dirty oil. The chicken underneath tasted ok. Smoked corn chicken was the best of the starters and up to the usual standard. The server should have not served the chicken wings... On the previous visit i complained to the waitress that the prawns were not as fresh as usual...... Not busy tonight 18:53 as i type this. We are just about to order main courses.

Great Value with their 'all you can eat'. Staff very friendly and accomodating. Food was ok, mostly fried.

Not Vietnamese food! Ordered from a la carte menu but food brought from buffet. Food delivered in less than 5 minutes of ordering. Food was luke warm. Not hot!

My wife (who happens to be Vietnamese) and I were so happy to find a Vietnamese Restaurant in Aberdeen. Unfortunately this was the worst place I have ever eaten. Vietnamese Spring rolls were basically deep fried crap, nothing like fresh rice paper rolls. The beef noodles tasted like a pot noodle. Very disappointed with the whole experience.

Possibly the worst dining experience and service I,ve ever encountered. We,ve been coming to this restaurant for over a decade, not so much in recent times due to a young family, now there a little older we decided to treat ourselves to the full menu. On entering it was very quiet only a table of 3, which we were seated right next to?? Ordered the drinks and starters which arrived promptly and were tasty, then arrived a table of 4 drunken, racist, swearing loud idiots who preceded to make everyone I would imagiine feel uncomfortable, did the staff say anything, remember we're sitting with 8 and 11 year old children. No they did not, I went to the bar to let them know we would not be staying and asked for the bill, 6 starters 4 drinks Total Bill £51.10 I couldn't believe it, utter disgrace will not be back, real shame this used to be a great place.

Nice Vietnamese restaurant, you can have either individual items from the menu or they can bring a selection to your table. I have heard it's not really authentic but I've always had good good there.

Not really authentic Vietnamese. Pho was nothing like what it should look or taste like (obviously not slow cooked as is traditional). Decor was tacky and mismatched - pop and dance music in a 'Vietnamese' restaurant run by Chinese people. I guess maybe I wouldn't have been as disappointed if I felt like Chinese food.

With a really wide choice on the menu this establishment caters for most oriental food lovers tastes. It is also very evident there is also a huge number of regular customers which can only mean consistently high food standards.
