Magic Kitchen - Asian Cuisine in Aberdeen City

Waited 2 hours and called 15 times no sign of food or no answer. Disappointing as their smoke corn chicken is great, won't be back.

Tried for the first time. Food excellent but 2 hours for delivery was too long to wait. Set meal was good value and arrived piping hot

Stay clear !!!!! Absolutely shocking! Didn't have half the dishes we selected , turned up 2 hours after order was placed , stone cold and flavourless and chicken was so dried out it was like leather, disgusting.

One star for being cash only in 2023

Ordered online using their magickitchenaberdeen website. Food was supposed to arrive an hour ago. They are not answering their phone. Money has been taken out of my account and I have received nothing, and no one is even answering. Shocked that other customers have had the same experience. Will be going to them in person tomorrow to get my money back! Update - they called me two days later asking if I would still like the same order that day (and expected me to pay in full if so!). I said no. They said they would refund me but it is weeks later and nothing has appeared in my account. Their website is not updated and neither are the opening times on google reviews.

Have used magic kitchen for a while, however last night it too 1 hrs 40 minutes for our food to arrive. Food was good, just the wait for it was not good

Order here all the time I recommended to friends about the food however I ordered tonight and the aromatic duck was cold the magic box was cold and soggy . I called to complain and the boss was shouting at the girl on the phone I spoke to. Absolutely disgusted by the way he speaks to his staff Iland treats his customers . I'll never use again after tonight . Treat your staff with respect !!!!

Food was only average, wouldn’t recommend or return

Third order from Magic Kitchen and they always delivered excellent food. I especially liked the fried noodles and Green Pepper in Black bean sauce.

My usual Chinese takeaway order is Chicken Kung-Po / Kong-Po (or whichever other way it gets spelled!). I can honestly say that the Kong-Po from Magic Kitchen is the best that I've ever had! On my latest visit last week I was in and out within five minutes despite them being pretty busy.

Went there for 1st time this evening.Girl serving was lovely and very helpful and patient a credit to the take away.The food was beautiful,I had shredded chilli beef and definitely the best I’ve ever had not to sweet.the chilli king prawns were very well cooked.Service was very quick for which I’m grateful.I shall most definitely be back.

Shocking service, order place 17.50, delivery advised as 18.35, phoned magic kitchen at 19.00 to be advised it would be another hour ! Won’t be going there again Had to give 1 star or wouldn’t post however would have given no star

Best Chinese I've tried in Aberdeen

Went in to order takeaway. I knew counter service was (unusually these days) cash only but thought I would order then walk the 100 or so yards to the cash machine. After taking my order the server asked if I would mind leaving something valuable such as a ring or a watch when I went for cash! Utterly bizarre and a request I declined. Even burger vans take cards these days. Been a customer a long time but won't be back. Also, specifically asked for no onions in one of the meals. She repeated this when reading out the order. Got home and there were onions.

The food is great! But delivery time was nearly 2 hrs:( I ordered mixed sweet & sour in batter but got chicken!

First time tonight we have tried here and will definitely be back Myself and my son had 1/3 duck which was so good. My partner loved his rice,chips, chicken balls and curry sauce. 5/5 for food and 5/5 for fast delivery (was earlier than it said it would be)

Absolutely useless. 65 minutes after ordering on JustEat, they cancelled the order - waste of time. Tried to call - no answer. Does this place even exist?

This one star is not a reflection on the food which I have had previously. This review is in connection with the error this Chinese takeaway made and I am still awaiting my refund for food that was cancelled through yo-yo, which was no fault of the delivery company yo-yo it was the fault of magic kitchen. When I called to ask why I received an email saying my order was cancelled I got someone on the phone who knew nothing she was talking about. All I got from her was we are extremely busy, it was a Saturday evening, someone will call you back and surprise surprise nobody did!!! I later found out that they hadn’t closed their website to yo yo resulting in me being out of pocket £15.60 and no food. Extremely poor service and not as much as an apology from magic kitchen. Rest assured I will get my refund back!!!😡

I have to say I have never ordered before from this place, ordered through Deliveroo and for me this is the best I’ve tasted in Aberdeen. This is my new go to place for a takeaway. Keep up the good work folks 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

Great food. The kids loved the noodles and chicken. Veggie Thai spring rolls were lovely. Good vegetarian choices for me. Great service too. Was ready in good time as well. Would happily recommend.

First time having takeaway from this place and is the best Chinese takeaway i have had in Aberdeen.

We ordered from the Magic Kitchen just to try them out and wow, amazing food that we all enjoyed, fried rice to perfection and chicken skewers in satay sauce to die for, they just melt in the mouth. Will definitely order again
