It was a very pleasant experience the food was amazing tender and perfectly cooked the people are so hospitable the music was great and they gave us free tea and desert 😊 we ordered meat feast for two and it was enough for three even though highly recommend

Just a lunch with my family in Shahara in Swansea. We had the lunch menu that was recommended to us. I wasn’t so sure , but the owner explain the menu and the dishes, The food was freshly Cooked from the starter to the main course, It’s was Amazing!! The. Food and the service was Amazing!! ❣️

Basically ordered a lamb shank for delivery and got three cubes of lamb shish with some sauce, bread was hard and overall what I tried of the food was bland. would not recommend plenty other middle eastern places in Swansea that actually deliver as advertised.

We had a Groupon for ten mezes for two. Unlike other reviewers, the voucher was accepted without problem. We allowed the charming waiter to select the mezes for us. The ten dishes were all delicious. The bread allowed us to mop up every last bit. The mocktails were wonderful, as was the mint tea. Our desserts were delicious too. The decor is charming and the background music a delight. Particular thanks are due to the waiter for his cheery manner, expert knowledge of the dishes and attentiveness. We will definitely return soon.

We had a Groupon voucher for a selection if 10 mezzes. We made the mistake of saying ‘yes’ when the waiter suggested we leave the choice of Mezzes to him. So we ended up with mostly cold mezzes e.g 3 dips which was definitely two too many. And the full price of £4.95 a dip is scandalous!! Neither of us like okra but we had a bowl of that. And we would have liked the calamari. The best dishes were the soup (which I asked for) and the chicken wings. The samosas were too spicy (even though we’d asked for no spicy food!) In the end it was a disappointing and probably because we were on a Groupon voucher we had no freebies either e.g no baklava or coffee like other guests had enjoyed. Will we come back? Definitely not for the mezzes ! If you’ve got a voucher to use ask to make your own choices and don’t leave it to the waiter.

Lovely food and helpful, friendly owners. Unlike some other reviewers we didn’t have a voucher but found it excellent value nevertheless. The complimentary mint tea and baclava afterwards was an unexpected treat. Will undoubtedly go back soon

Had a 2 course meal with a Groupon voucher. Both courses were lovely, good sized portions, and well presented. Staff were polite and helpful. Shame that they do not have a bar there. Will definately return.

One of my friends recommended this restaurant for me. So me and my partner went their for a meal I absolutely couldn’t describe how lovely the food is and how friendly the staff were they’ve gave us free dessert and tea at the end which was really nice of them I’ve been greeted a table straight away and felt comfortable the atmosphere was amazing and the decorations made me feel like I was on holiday to Morocco. Definitely coming back xx

I had Groupon voucher + visited the restaurant in person to make a booking and was told there was a problem with the voucher but then was told by the manager, who was called out to see me, that there was no problem! After this,I did a bit of research on Trip Advisor and FB and could see people had had problems trying to use their Groupon Vouchers. I felt very apprehensive going for our meal but, to be fair, we were shown to a table and had lovely meal (more than we could eat) with delicious mocktails. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the restaurant is beautifully decorated. There was NO problem using my voucher. They are hoping to have their bar completed by the end of the month when they will then be able to sell alcohol. I hope the groupon situation was just a glitch..they are a new restaurant in Swansea and it would be a shame if they did not succeed. I wont buy Groupon voucher again as I would like to choose from the whole menu but will definitely be going again (when the bar is open!)

Me and my family went for out for dinner at Sahara city and had an amazing time all staff we very friendly and welcoming plus the food is delicious. Differently recommend the tagine dishes x

New restaurant in Swansea and they have just been awarded a 1 star food hygiene and they are lying to potential new customers already. Bought a Groupon a few weeks ago, called up to book as per the terms and the lady answering the phone was all jolly and went to get the diary to book us in. Agreed to our booking and time then asked if we have a voucher and we advised yes we have a Groupon. She advised 2 minutes I just need to double check, came back and by magic there was suddenly no availability all day for the day we wanted to book. Very suspicious I advised I will call again when we are free. Got my sister in-law to call and she advised she didn't have any vouchers and was offered numerous slots on the same day. My wife then called and asked and told them we had a voucher and suddenly no slots all day. I then sent a Facebook message (see pictures) asking to make a group booking on that day and suddenley by magic there are spaces to eat and I could choose a time. Move on a few weeks to today and we just tried to book again, lady went to get diary and we were asked do you have voucher? Again advised yes we have Groupon to be told by the lady, they don't sell through Groupon even though while talking to her,I was able to buy two different Groupon vouchers for them (see live screen shots below).Why would you ask if I have a voucher if you don't sell them? Liars, clearly lying to us and the fact they have just had a 1 🌟 shows what a joke of a place they are. We will continue to stick with Turkish kitchen who look after their customers, we will make sure via our well respected and followed Swansea food and review pages in social media that the people of Swansea need to avoid this place. Luckily Groupon have refunded us. I guarantee they won't last long in Swansea.

First time trying Moroccan food and was not disappointed ,very friendly staff who were very helpful and nothing was to much trouble, lovely atmosphere and the food was superb and plenty of it, we cannot find fault with this restaurant will definitely be back.

The three of us all enjoyed the food very much- delicious salad, humus, vegetarian tagine, couscous, mixed grill and mint tea. Very friendly welcome and service. Pleasing North African music and smart interior.

I love Mediterranean food and was not disappointed with our meal. I had a delicious Lemon chicken tagine and the freshest backlava for desert. My partner had home baked Saffron cake, it was simply divine. Service was friendly and helpful. Will definitely be back!

Relatively new restaurant, we went as a family and service was extremely slow. Waited ages for food. Once arrived it was nice. But service needs some more organisation from staff.

I recently visited this takeaway, and unfortunately, the experience was extremely disappointing. The customer service was appalling, with staff displaying poor manners and a lack of basic courtesy. One of the staff members, in particular, seemed completely unaware of how to interact with customers respectfully. The level of ignorance and unprofessionalism was astonishing, making the visit both frustrating and regrettable. It’s no surprise that the council has rated them 1/5, though I genuinely believe they deserve 0/5 for their lack of standards in service and behavior. I would not recommend this establishment to anyone and urge them to seriously reconsider their approach to customer care.
