Runway View Restaurant in Hillingdon

Dreadful service and then they include a service charge. Don't take cash, but no mention of that prior to check being delivered to the table, left there pretty frustrated, manager not responsive to complaints at all

Food was pretty good, if a little expensive. To be expected though being right next to Heathrow

So surprised that a hotel restaurant can serve such great food. The service and atmosphere were very good too.

Cannot fault this place at all!! I'm an extremely regular visitor due to being aeroplane mad! Food always served quickly, fresh and hot!

Sloooooooow service… Food was reasonable. Pasta was a bit cold so had clearly been sitting on the side for a while before being brought to the table. Good views of terminal 5 and the runway.

We didn't try the food, we went for the views of the airport and it is worth going and having something on the terrace if you like airplanes

This place is almost heaven. Definitely the best restaurant I've been to in a while and I've visited a ton. It's like the manager's can almost read my mind. Cheesy chips great, music excellent and WiFi is almost perfect. Runaway view restaurant you're the best 🍟🍓🍷

Nice restaurant with great view of the runway. Nice large outdoor area. Amazingly no noise from the runway inside. Buffet was good with lots of selections. Pizza for dinner was massive. Lovely staff.

Clearly selling premade food at huge mark up prices. Only plus is getting to watch the planes take off and land. Do not waste your time or your money here. Garlic Bread is 3 small slices of a baguette for 8 pounds.

Didn't have the Steak or Seabass. What I ordered came within 2 mins suggesting it was Microwaved and the quality of food was shocking. Mash was chewy? 1 star because the staff were friendly.

We ate in the bar area where we able to choose from the main menu. More intimate atmosphere than the restaurant. The Chicken Tikka Masala was delicious.

Terrible food. 45 minutes later we had asked how long our mains were going to take. The waitress said I will ask the chef to get your food ready now. An hour later our food finally came. Overpriced for what it was. Could make something tastier from the local supermarket freezer section. My poor kids were too tired to even get half way through their dinner. Dont waste your time and money.

In all honesty I would give a 1 star rating, but am being generous with the 2 stars purely due to the view. The view is great if you like plane spotting and like looking at the runway. The food however is terrible. The starters were OK, but after they were served, waited 45 to mains to come out. Service is not to shout about either, no apologies for the delay in food coming out, and at which point my toddler was in tears of hunger. Dreadful experience. Would never visit this place for a meal again, no way!

Sadly lacking, roast beef and horseradish sandwich....well it was more like mayonnaise than horseradish. Grey beef has never been to my taste either. It was requested on white, so granary that turned up should really have set the scene for us. The meatballs promised so much more, but failed, sour tasting sauce, dry meatballs and served so quickly the bowl was still hot from the microwave. Garlic bread, crusty, and not in a good way. Oh and silly me I asked for a desert menu, I gave up waiting as I didn't wish to wait until another birthday passed. The fries were nice.....

Nice view of the runway however the food is very bland. I had the seared seabass and it was extremely tasteless; I had to add extra tobasco, pepper and salt to try and save the dish! The skin of the seabass wasn't crisp either which I was disappointed about. I recommend that the restaurant adds more seasoning, herbs and spice to their dishes.
