Great Sandwich. I ordered the original with everything on white bread. Very filling and tasty. Service was great and competitively priced for arguably the best sandwich i have ever had

Went here today off a whim when looking for a sandwich in Belfast. I work from home so never know where to go and usually end up going to places that are awful. I was so glad I did go here! I usually find these places with lots of choices intimidating but the lady serving was very nice and helpful and the choice was superb. The price for the size of the sandwich was very reasonable and the sandwich was definitely the best I've had in a long time. The best thing though about this place was the guy who was serving me at the till he was such a charmer! All dressed up so smart and offered me some free skittles as well what an absolute gem this guy is for this place. I will definitely be back here and be recommending it to others. Thank you

The best sandwich shop I have ever been to. Bob and his wife run a great shop. The sandwiches are always massive, great value for the price you pay, they have a lovely arrangement of ingredients that is set up behind the counter. I find the service to both be considerate and pleasant. They will always take care to make your sandwich (you'd often wonder how they can be making money, since they take such care, not slow, but certainly slower than most places) and you can tell there is actually love there. They're not afraid to make good banter and nice suggestions about what to put in your sandwich (and always they are right). Even the younger staff I have experienced are affable and appear to enjoy working there. Be careful when paying for your sandwich, Bob always has interesting conversations. You get a free pack of Haribo as you pay too. Get there early if you can, queues can literally out the door at lunchtime. Also you can call ahead and have your sandwiches prepared beforehand, which I only learned recently. I'll be coming back as soon as I can for another two-handed sandwich. I love this place.

Encased in the paper wrapper is probably the best sandwich I've ever hand. The staff making the Sandwiches are so meticulous in their craftsmanship. I've never seen so much detail put into a sandwich. I also got a packet of free sweets. 🥰

Incredible every time. Freshest ingredients. Salads anywhere else pale in comparison on every level. This deli is fantastic from every aspect; flavour, freshness, value, quality and service. The potions are generous, often I don't need dinner. I miss Ruby's when I have to work from home! The most abundant flavours in a salad ever. Bob, the host is an intriguing character, who delights with his stories of adventure and travel. I love that you get free haribo with every order and you can call before 11.30 to order so I don't have to queue. It can, understandably get busy but totally worth the wait if I forget to call. If you're in a rush this place might not be for you. Usually very busy, but that's definitely a testament to just how good their sandwiches are. If you can wait 5, maybe 10 minutes, you'll get some great conversation from the staff and even better stories from the owner. Big statement to make, but the Ruby's club sandwich is probably the best sandwich in Belfast, possibly even N.I. You won't have much appetite for dinner if you finish the club. Can't recommend it enough. One of Belfast's best spots for lunch on the go.

Outstanding: I had chicken tikka with Greek salad and sweet sauce on wheat bread and it was frankly one of the best sandwiches I have ever experienced. And the team there was so pleasant. Ruby’s is open only a couple of hours per day but next time I am in Belfast I hope I can make it back to Ruby’s!

Was here recently as my daughter wanted to go. Sandwiches were absolutely beautiful. Shop was spotless with a 5 star hygiene rating. Very generous portions with really fresh ingredients. You’re in for a treat. Staff lovely too.

I work near Rubys and a friend recommended I try their club sandwich last year as a lunch time spot. Game changer would be an understatement. Amazing food and customer service. I started ringing ahead and ordering myself and colleagues sandwiches to pick up over lunch. 3 times a week it is that good! So much so I am now on first name basis with all the staff and they can never do enough for me. They are evening ordering in Rubys t shirts and hats which I have asked if I could have some to bring back to the office for the guys as Rubys is such a sough after brand among us at Apex Fintech Solutions. Much love for the club sandwich and all the guys in general. Please try them out for a sandwich over your next lunch break!

Lovely sambos, plenty of filling in them and plenty of choice. Staff are friendly especially the gentleman behind the till who always looks a million dollars. Better than any of your chain places by a country mile.

This was a wonderful find ! Just wanted a quick sandwich to eat on the lawns of City Hall and this popped up . A little queue , but, gave you time to gasp in wonder at the creations . We had the original two hander - crammed with all sorts - cheese , ham ,lettuce , tomato, red onion - more than enough for 2 to share. The assistant even wrapped it separately for us and the wonderful gentleman at the till gave us serviettes and a little paper square to use as a kind of tablecloth! Nothing was too much trouble - it was a joy ! And the end result - gorgeous ! So, why would you go anywhere else ?

The best sandwich around! Such a gem of a place. The staff and customers are hilarious. You can have salads, sandwiches and the biggest sandwich of your life. All so tasty and good value. I wish I lived here to go regularly! I had the ultimate, two handed sandwich and shared it with my mum. It would be a good challenge to eat alone. Thank you! Diolch!

We were just passing by Belfast and truly it was the highlight of this city! We loved everything about that place, the owner is such a gentleman, the sandwiches are generous and very tasty. The service and prices are excellent, i highly recommend that place.

My daughter 3 grandkids and myself went to the restaurant in September last year and the service was terrible they didn't have a clue , we decided to go back last Sunday to see if the overall service had improved and we were so disappointed it was actually worse the staff weren't busy as it was nearly empty, we ordered dessert for 2 of the kids we hung about for nearly half an hour then I asked the waitress about the dessert,the guy hadn't put the order in so we waited again and finally it came. we certainly won't be back as they need to sort their staff out

WOW!!! The most amazing lunch time scran you can get! Outstanding salad boxes - there was so much it fed us for two lunches across two consecutive days. Watching the ladies lovingly prepare their sandwiches, not just lobbing a filling between two slices of bread but taking care to ensure every millimetre of bread is covered is something we had never seen before! The lunch time queue was worth the wait and we could see why you are so popular! We will be back again as I want to try one of your brilliant sandwiches next time!

The sandwiches are amazing but with 2 staff on you could be waiting a while in the queue, one lady is quick at making sandwiches and salads, another younger lady is much slower, 6 sandwiches the other lady has made, this lady has made 1, however the food is amazing and the staff are very friendly and helpful. Love coming here for sandwiches, if there's a queue out the door you'll be waiting a while. But that's how you know it's good.

Use here a lot, for one simple reason....it's the best sandwich and salad bar anywhere. Freshly prepared ingredients every day....friendly staff and advice....very reasonable prices. If your in Belfast, give yourself a treat.

It should be a criminal offence to ignore this place for as long as i have. A bright, clean shop with a good lay out and friendly, accomodating staff made me what has to be one the greatest sandwiches in Belfast city centre. Huge, club style sandwich, using IMO the best pan loaf, Brennan's. Perfect ingredients, chicken, ham, salad, coleslaw building a great lunch. Any number of meat, salad, sauce, and as said the excellent staff will facilitate any combo. Fantastic and can't wait to try it again.

Had vegetarian sandwich for lunch takeaway. An elderly lady who seems to be the owner took pains to clean the cutting board & knives before serving me (since I wanted vegetarian). She also replaced the bread before packing realising that the crust was a bit hard. Really loved the attention to detail & the service even though it took a lot of time & effort from her. The sandwich was amazing but would recall the brilliant experience as l had here. Thanks !

Best sandwiches in Belfast. Great sandwiches and salads made to order while you wait. Owners and staff are fantastic and the quality of ingredients really are first class. Make sure to try their South Western sauce. Best of all, it won't hurt the pocket and they are generous with their fillings. I'd give Ruby's 6 stars if I could. You won't be disappointed.

What a great experience. Just had a lovely bespoke sandwich from this place and enjoyed in the sunshine in the grounds of City Hall. I had a salmon and cream cheese option but there’s so many selections available including a great array of salads and sauces. The staff were so helpful with suggestions and so friendly to speak to. Would thoroughly recommend a stop at this place if you are in Belfast.

Found this place whilst visiting Belfast next to where we parked up in the city centre. Proper sandwiches made fresh to order however you like . All the ingredients looked really fresh and are nicely presented at the front of the shop. Staff were really friendly as well and didn’t want us pay for the kids simple sandwiches. They also threw in some free haribo! If I worked in Belfast city centre I’d probably be giving this place a daily visit.

Discovered this place approx 1 year and half ago after many recommendations, now I can see why it is held in such high regard. The quality ro sandwiches are second to none!! The freshness of the products are plain to see and taste!!! The owners and staff are lovely people and there is never a dull moment in the shop. I wouldn’t entertain going to anywhere else in Belfast for a sandwich when Ruby’s is open!

Some of the best sandwiches in Belfast, the queue can get a little long, but it's always worth it.

A reserved little sandwich joint that is only open over the lunchtime period. Prepare to be respected and remembered for what you order. Personally I think their prawn avocado salad is the one of the nicest made lunches in town (hot sauce on the prawns). Love this place :) - Big portions by the way

All i can say is WOW. The two girls looked like they had just served 1000 sandwiches yet still smiled and had wonderful personalities. The sandwiches are made with fresh brown or wheaten bread. The ingredients are lovely and fresh and the quantity is very generous. Then you get to the till and a gentleman in a suit takes your money. The level of service you get from him is what is missing in todays service sector. He makes sure they are packed neatly, that you have enough napkins, he even asked if I was going to eat in the car. When I said yes he went out the back and came out with some sandwich wrap paper and said to put it on my knee to avoid loss. That on top of the friendly demeanour and caring attitude left me with a great experience and working out when I can drive back into Belfast for another. Great job team and Happy Christmas.

This place serves a very good sandwich and is definitely recommended for the lunch. They do not do any dinners as the shop closes around 4pm. The sandwich here is fresh and great in taste and as they advertise it is a sandwich which needs both your hands to hold it. Importantly the people who own and run it are very polite and take time to make you a perfect lunch. The club sandwiches are there too if you're starving :-)

The owner and his staff are without doubt the nicest people ever and there sandwiches are unreal... This is fast becoming my regular place for Lunch in Belfast, a MUST try for anyone.

Simply the finest sandwich store in the city and probably the country. Fresh ingredients and not drowned in mayonnaise like everywhere else. The owners work in the store and you can tell that this ensures top notch quality of service. The staff are fantastic too. Everyone who owns or works in other sandwich stores should be frogmarched to Ruby's and be shown how it should be done.

This is no ordinary sandwich bar, this place is a one off, spotless, full of character and very friendly. As for the sandwhiches they are not only mouthwatering in presentation,with endless variety but also great value. They are as filling and tasty as can be. .. Everything in them is fresh! I have to say I heard from a friend that the sandwiches were great. I decided to check this out with some work colleagues and we all agreed not only were the sandwiches amazingly delicious they were also packed full I was stuffed. Not only that the owner and staff were lovely the service is second to none and when I got to the till he offered me a free apple lol. They also do a club sandwich which is 3 slices of bread and lots of filling. Check out this wee gem of a sandwich shop for great food and great service. just around the corner from the Garrick bar.
