One and a half hours waiting for cold and average food. I called alfter an hour and they said they were waiting on their driver.

Terrible takeaway. They normally stated 1 hour but the time was passing so I phoned them. When they picked up and I epxlained my situation they told me to wait and then they hung up after five minutes just like that. The driver called me after 1 hour since stated but I was away by then. Don't bother ordering from them so I never even got the food in the end. Tl;DR: Poor service, poor delivery would not recommend at all.

Ordered chicken curry with no onions. Was delivered chicken curry WITH onions. When eventually getting through to the Ruby on the phone I was asked if I could 'Just pick the onions out'... I'm allergic to onions. Had to ask for a refund, which may or may not come at some unspecified time. Deeply unhappy with the service and the attempts to make good. Terrible.

The food took over 2 hours to be delivered, despite my flat being less than 15 minutes away. When I called, the girl on the phone was totally unapologetic. Will not be ordering from here again.

usually delivery time is very fast but this time it was about an hour and twenty mins and that was ten mins after the estimated del and me calling

Terrible. Order arrived an hour before requested time and incomplete. Called up and the service was terrible. Unfriendly, rude, unhelpful, no offer of explanation or sincere apology. Just an attitude of 'well what do you want me to do'. Rest of the order went cold when waiting for the missing items. This is the first time we've ordered for delivery with Ruby. It's our go-to Chinese takeaway with walk-in orders, but we won't use them again now.

As always the NO1 best Chinese. I recommend trying the Salt and pepper chicken wings they are amazing!

As Ian's review of 20/10 my experience was identical the night before. I dont know where u stay Ian but im in Broomhill - 3 to 5 mins from the takeway. I ordered thru just eat. 45 mins passed still no food. Called & spoke girl who advised that food was on its way. 15 mins later still no food. Called again & again was informed food with delivery driver, asked where he was (which apparently wasnt in my position to ask). But i got a response saying he was in Whiteinch and would be at mine straight after. Still nothing called again this time i asked to speak to manager, was told he didnt speak english, i asked how he could poss communicate with his staff, met with silence. It took more than and hour & 45 mins before my order was delivered. I have been told several times that they are really busy, is this not an indication that they should employ another driver. I will NEVER NEVER use this takeway again. Very bad customer service and i will be notifying JUST EAT.

1 hour and 25 minutes for a simple order from Ruby . Each week i order from Ruby usual the wait is long but eachweek is worse and worse tonight was a joke got told 1 hour after i ordered that it was in the Drivers car then it took 25 minutes from then . Food comes its luke warm and chips are cold . Did not send it back due to waiting so long and i was very hungry . Phoned young girl at Ruby told her i probs wont order again . She replies : sorry about that bye .. What customer service is that god . I had to even tell the girl what she can do on her end to sort out the problem . I said you can refund my order or even let my order be free the next time . Even said send out a new order for me . She replies oh yes if you want a refund go onto just eat and do it on your email to do it sorry bye .. I asked to speak to the owner who apparently does not speak english . Yeah nobother doll he owns and sets up a takeaway but cant talk on a phone ok ok . What a joke seriously IAN

Food was awful. I ordered beef curry and it came with about two very small strips of beef, and overall did not taste good at all. The satay sauce was poor quality. Ordered from Ruby a couple of times as I thought I would try them again due to their reasonable prices. However, this really does prove that you get what you pay for.

Always order from the ruby best Chinese around foods always piping hot and chicken curry is to die for as is their satay 5 star service

Waited an hour and a half later than the expected delivery time, so 2 1/2 hours in total. Food was tepid.

I have ordered this meal so many times and it's always brilliant, but for some reason tonight it was awful! The spring rolls batter was chewy rather than crunchy, the prawn crackers were soft, the chicken balls tasted really odd and even the rice tasted off. I don't know what happened but it just wasn't good at all tonight.

Great food but I have to say, after ordering food from here more than 6 times their delivery service is abismal. It's always well over an hour after ordering. Last time ordering a delivery for me.

The food was 50 minutes late and also missing food that I had ordered.

Took over 2.5 hours for delivery after calling multiple times and being told it would be here soon. When it finally arrived rice was missing from our order. I called them up and was told that would take another 30 minutes. Ended up having to go out and find a nearby Chinese to get rice and chips (as after taking so long our chips were soggy and cold). To top it off, after specifically ordering from this place for their black pepper sauce I was given black bean. Wish I'd ordered from somewhere else, it was such a waste of money and a total disappointment.

Awful I ordered set meal 1 and it's states chicken noodle soup then choose starter either spare ribs or spring roll waited nearly a hour for delivery n the soup.never came nor did the crackers so phoned them.lady on phone was very rude said to.me what's your problem cheekley not good customer service then after 20.mins of her telling me she wasn't sending me the missing items I told her to.send her driver back to pick up the other food.she soon.changed her mind to send me the missing items which I waited another 35 mins for which made my main.course cold I will not be back here and will.not recommend it.ever was.very angry. With. This restraunt

Over an hour and a half for delivery, wrong order provided, starter portions for full sized food that was ordered and paid for. Over £30 spent, no freebies for spending that amount even though it says on menu I will and tiny bag of prawn crackers for 5 people to share not enough for 2! Won't be ordering again! Very disappointed!

Phone unavailable for long periods of time, mistake with order despite clarifying, slow delivery. Food is nice and shop helpful in fixing order however.

Food was pretty cold when it got here and one of the containers was burst open.

I hate leaving bad reviews but this is the worst takeaway i have had! The chips were brown and there was hardly and cheese on them the curry was extremely greasy !! I let the company know my buzzer was broken to call me when downstairs and I would let them in. The delivery driver made me go down the stairs to get my Chinese he never came up to my door I have never experienced that in all my life. I am extremely dissapointed and will never use again !!

I collected an order, when I got home I realised they'd got it wrong. Called to be told someone would deliver the correct order only to be asked for extra money at the door...even though it was their mistake!! Not happy.

Worst Chinese food I have ever eaten.

Always very happy with my orders here. Food is always excellent. Deliver times vary and sometimes can take over an hour.

The food is always amazing from the place however I usually need to wait an hour before I get my meal. This time unfortunately had taken 2 hours as the driver just left before my order was finalised. On a weekend there should be more drivers to stop these delays moving forward as the food is lovely but would rather get my order in the 45 mins quoted on Just eat

again very disappointed in length of time to deliver. im only minutes away from the ruby yet they still charge £1.50 and food was not cold but tepid. i ordered breast of chick chow mein. it usually comes with obvious slices of chick this chow mein came with cut bits of chicken....well i hope its real chicken. it came in poly tray and when i opened the bag my entire kitchen top was covered in what i can say is thick sauce. minging. so ashamed ive recommended to friends

Food is great .. delivery can be very long but worth it !

Food is decent but sometimes side orders chips etc can be undercooked - used them on 5 or 6 occasions now and delivery times are getting progressively worse. Minimum wait is 45 minutes but I've waited 2 hours before. Food is good though so if your going to order use the takeaway.

Chicken balls were soggy, special chow mein was nice apart from the fatty pork and cans of coke were warm not good when you want to have them with your meal

Meal was lovely delivery was quick just wish they hadn't put my can of coke in the bag with the food!

Hour and a half delivery, chips inedible, prawn crackers stale, rice smelt funny and was in a big sticky clump, duck in Thai green curry was extremely fatty. Disappointed with overall service, will not order again.

Don't usually post reviews but felt I must after my meal turned up 1hr and 20 mins after order which is fine as it was a Saturday night. But when the food did arrive I order the meal deal order ribs to start which consisted of one rib if that. A can of coke which was as hot as the food soo couldn't b enjoyed with meal and beef was stringy and of a poor poor quality will not return.

Was getting it for a good while but the last time I got beef curry the beef was bits off fat and this time the spring rolls were burnt and tasted off vinegar while the prawn crackers tasted off fish.

Order took 1 hour 45 mins to arrive and the delivery man was rude. Some of the food was cold and sweaty. Food did not taste fresh.

Quick delivery. Food was very poor quality. Chips not cooked properly and stale prawn crackers. Much better takeaways with Glasgow!

I have ordered from here threw times. Each time I have written a note on my order to exclude a certain ingredient fro. One of my dishes and all 3 times they have ignored the notes and it has come with that ingredient. The first time I can understand and get over it. The second time I was willing to put down to coincidence. But the third time just shows me how little attention they pay to requests that you leave in the notes. This has resulted in me not enjoying the food so I cannot give a better review.

I ordered from this shop on satarday and waited all night for it to be delivered and it didn't even turn up there for I will never order from here again

They sent the wrong main and tried to tell me the sauce was at the bottom of the dish. I don't mind mistakes, but I do like honesty.

The spring rolls were pretty horrible. Texture on the outside of a deep fried sausage instead of being crispy. Unsightly looking in length to the point it could be compared to part of the male anatomy.... Schezuan praws- prawns themselves nice but the sauce was too sweet. Never have I had a sweet schezuan..weird. Just overall pretty disappointed. Delivery time good though and maybe other options would be better.

A good meal... however the cream chicken starter thingy Had curry sause inside and no creaM sause. It was like a pancake with chicken curry inside. Dipped in batter and fried. It was nice tho. A nice surprise

Impressive portions - my chow mein could have fed two, actually. Very tasty and no onions just like I requested. Unusual spring rolls, but looked cool and was very tasty with a crispy outside. Delivery time ridiculously good - order to plate in ~25min!!!
