Will try the Newbury Hotel next time we are in Blackpool if the welcome is the same as you get in the owners bar, the Rovers Return a couple of doors down. We went in this bar the last time we stayed in Blackpool on the North Shore and enjoyed its friendly atmosphere so much, so when we stayed this weekend on the South Shore we walked past all the loud karaoke bars on the Prom to have our first drink in this friendly bar and we were lucky enough to have a brilliant singer/guitarist entertaining us, so if your looking for a friendly bar this is it.
