ordered the peri chicken combo meal during lunch hours and the food was really tasty. probably my top fast food chip and the burgers came with fresh onion, tomato, lettuce and gherkins in perfect ratio. plus it’s grilled chicken over fried - honest recommendations for the food 10/10.

Food was freezing cold, lady on the phone refused to make us fresh food because we had it delivered and it was apparently hot when it left she was rude and said the manager would ring us but we had no call back off anyone

Ordered through Uber Eats. Ordered chicken tenders with honey and mustard dressing and a box meal chicken burger. Food arrived and they had sent the tenders slathered in a hot chilli sauce with chili seeds. The chicken tenders were missing from the box meal. I phoned the shop and spoke to a woman who told me that they had definitely sent the honey and mustard chicken and the tenders as she had checked with staff. She effectively called me a liar and said she didn’t know what she was expecting me to do. Poor poor food and even worse service. Avoid. Thankfully after I’d sent pictures of the mess to Uber eats they provided a full refund.

Popped into Rounders in Chorlton and wasn’t disappointed. The burgers are huge, juicy, and full of flavour. Chips were crispy and cheesy—just how they should be. Finished it off with one of their sundaes, which was ridiculously good. Staff were super friendly too. Just a solid, no-fuss place for a tasty bite.

The perfect chicken burger, extremely crispy, the chicken was very very juicy, not greasy at all and the chips were perfect. I never normally leave reviews but this was worth it, 10/10

During Ramadan, my wife and I decided to visit Rounders Fast Food Restaurant in Chorlton to break our fast with their popular Iftar Box last week. However, when we got there, we were tempted by the Hungry Box instead, or I was! and it turned out to be one of the best decisions we made! The Hungry Box was massive, packed to the brim with delicious options: - Choice of Any 2 Burgers: We went for the Buttermilk Rounders Chicken Burger and the Rounders Beef Burger. - The Buttermilk Chicken Burger was absolutely divine, a crispy buttermilk chicken fillet with a slice of cheese, hash brown, and halloumi, all served in a soft brioche bun with lettuce, pickles, and Rounders signature sauce. Every bite was a perfect mix of crunch, juiciness, and flavour. - The Beef Burger was equally impressive, double smash patty, double cheese, topped with halloumi and hash brown, all nestled in a seeded brioche bun with fresh lettuce, tomato, red onions, pickles, and that signature sauce. It was hearty, flavourful, and incredibly satisfying. - 2 Wings & 2 Boneless Strips: The chicken was spot-on—crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, and packed with flavour. - 4 Chicken Chunks: These were juicy, well-seasoned, and paired perfectly with the sauces. - Loaded Chicken Fries: A generous portion of fries topped with chicken, cheese, and sauce—comfort food at its finest. - Any 2 Sides: We went for gravy and signature sauce, both of which were delicious. The gravy was rich and comforting, while the signature sauce added a tangy, creamy kick to everything. After a day of fasting, you feel like you can eat anything and everything, but this box was so filling that we barely made it through half! The food was not only delicious but also incredibly satisfying, making it the perfect way to break our fast during Ramadan. Ramadan is a special time for reflection, gratitude, and sharing meals with loved ones, and Rounders made our Iftar experience truly memorable. The quality of the food, the generous portions, and the vibrant flavours made it a standout meal. If you’re in Chorlton, Rounders is a must-visit for fast food. The Hungry Box is perfect for sharing, but if you’re not feeling that hungry, their smaller options are just as tempting. We’ll definitely be back, though maybe next time, we’ll opt for something a little smaller! Highly recommend this spot for anyone craving delicious, hearty fast food.

Great place for buttermilk fried chicken but the burgers and milkshake where amazing. I had the rounders chicken burger with the Ben and Jerry's peanut butter milkshake oh and a side of wings. Best spot in chorlton!

Easily some of the best fried chicken you are going to find anywhere in Manchester. Been a few times and as long as it’s freshly prepared, the chicken has never been dry and is always full of flavour.

I have been here around 3 times every time I have been disappointed I won't be going back. The food is tasteless and the quality is low please avoid. Also they don't have chilly sauce for customer's.

Absolutely shocking experience at Rounders Chicken in Chorlton. I waited over 30 minutes for a simple order of three pieces of chicken and chips. The receipt said the food would be ready at 18:42, yet I didn’t get it until 19:03. If you’re going to put a time on the receipt, at least try to stick to it—otherwise, don’t bother printing one at all. It’s misleading and downright incompetent. To make matters worse, after all that waiting, the order wasn’t even right! How on earth do you mess up such a basic order after taking so long? It’s beyond frustrating. The lady who was on the till the last time I visited is the only person keeping this place from total chaos. Everyone else clearly has no idea what they’re doing. Disorganised, slow, and incapable of delivering even the simplest service. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. If you don’t want to waste your time and leave angry, avoid this place at all costs.

Ordered their sundaes and rice box, and the food was amazing! Really loved how they make their sundaes, especially since I added some custom instructions, and they nailed it. Quality was top-notch. Totally worth it—big thumbs up!

Honestly every time I go I never eat unhappy, took my mum there 1 time and she told me we ain’t going back to another chicken shop. Rounders chicken is cooked So well and too crispy. Employees are so kind and generous

Multiple hairs found across our food. Called up only to be told “I don’t know what to do” & with no training on what to do on the matter.(A foreign body complaint) No manager to speak to either, said they’ll have to ring the manager to let them know & get them to sort a refund. A refund which was never received. No foreign body processes & no refund after 2 weeks now, that’s why I’m taking it to leave a review as the service I’ve had.

Decent tasting and filling food, however we ordered two identical burger meals except one was vegan and one was not and they were not labelled to differentiate which was which. One had onions on even though they were requested to be removed and the other was missing a side. Not a great first impression and I wouldn’t risk ordering from here again

The customer service from the guy was good, the meal was ok, I wouldn't say it was the best, maybe they need to work on the flavouring I asked for hot and the chicken tasted like lemon and lime.

Used to like it there. Unfortunately I ordered rounders beef burger, but got served lamb one 😳 lamb is not even on the menu. I hate lamb, the meat had specific smell, taste and colour. Even higher % of fat in mince beef is giving more red colour. It was definitely not beef. Lady at the counter dismissed complaint, repeatedly lied it was beef. No, it was not.

I recently had an excellent meal at Rounders. I ordered chicken and rice, and everything was perfectly cooked and full of flavor. The sauce on the rice added something special, and the chicken was tender and juicy. The staff were also very friendly, making the experience even better. I highly recommend this place. Keep it up 👍

ORDER AT YOUR OWN COST!!!! Bought the share box for 2 for £20, has to be easily one of worst share box I have ever had in Manchester. The wings were burnt and so crispy to the point where you couldn't even bite any meat off. The burger was supposed to be spicy however I don't even know how to explain the taste of the sauce, after 1 bite me and my brother decided not to continue. The cheesy fries were just honestly horrible , they were so soggy and no crisp. The only good item that was good was the 2 chicken tenders that we ate. Honestly stay away from this place, the lady with the headscarf was very nice and friendly however the food was utter crap. will definitely not be returning here.

Very poor burned chicken received and seriously something wrong with this franchise. I had ordered from Urmston and they were better. These guys are horrible with the food quality and really burned chicken you will get. Same is the case with burgers, very poor quality and definitely should avoid having food.

Just passing by and popped it as the shop is very well presented and looked clean. I tried the rounders chicken burger and it was delicious. Very well packaged and presented and the flavours were fabulous. It was also huge so good value for the £7.49.

Terrible food. Your cheese burgers have to be one of the worst I have ever had. Thin patties and more like smash burghers. These are not your normal cheese burgers. Your burgers tasted fatty and very dry. Just can't believe people buy them.

Honestly, do not believe the social media hype. The food is very big standard. Me and my partner ordered the sharer box for £19.99. The beef burger was decent. The chicken burger was meh. The wings and the strips were okay. The chicken bites was good. But the worst was the cheesy fries. It’s just skin on fries and nacho cheese sauce. Found it very mediocre and won’t be coming back.

It's a takeaway so the atmosphere scores low. Scran is lovely though, all halal, but lovely. Great burgers, I always stop here on my way home after beers.

Decent value for money great service on delivery and tasty cheesy chips and wings. Although, taking the time to write this review to forewarn future customers for I would not wish the spicy burger on my worst enemy. Try at your own peril. I get extra hot at nandos would order extra extra hot if it was an option, love a vindaloo and add chilli to most dishes. The spicy burger however was what I can only describe as a nuclear fission occurring in my oesophagus an inedible inferno that has brought hell to my day. It’s 3 hours later and I hope the pain has peaked. Came to the reviews to see if this was the same as anyone else’s experience with the spicy chicken burger. Other than that great food. Will get the peri chicken burger next time

We ordered food and a burger didn't come we called them they said 15 minutes then they called back saying there not going to bring it the guy at the counter said he will lose his job i hope he does he asked us to pick it up we told him we cant and he said i cant help you but don’t report me please he said i don’t know who hires these people but its a joke a absolute joke

Anyone that loves fried chicken on the bone knows that some places keep theirs on display and under heat. This dries out the chicken and also gives it a bad taste. Some keep their chicken on display for days. I love this place because they fry the chicken to order. If you don’t mind waiting 15-20 minutes, then it’s worth it. The chicken I had (thigh and drumstick) was juicy, fresh and very crispy. It even smelled freshly cooked and not like old oil. I highly recommend this place and will be back again.

They never have the food ready for collection in 15 minutes!!! (The last 4 times we have ordered on line for collection- last time it was 45 minutes and this time I am waiting and it’s 38 so far…. The food and staff are good otherwise we wouldn’t come back!!!

They repeatedly don’t provide the full order ordered and then lie so they don’t have to deliver the missing items. They changed the recipe of the gravy so it tastes like dirty dish water. They lie and say they will deliver the missing items then don’t then they say they will deliver them when I order next time. Only £7 worth of food out of a £26 order is edible. Dishonest staff with a disgusting attitude and no regard or respect for trying to remedy their “mistakes” after this being two incidents in a row they have taken my money and not provided all the food. Save your money and go elsewhere

I can only comment based on delivery. First time we ordered food was nice and hot. Over the weekend we thought we would give it another go. Chips cold, chicken wings didn't taste right either old oil or old chicken not sure but got thrown in the bin. The chicken tenders were nice at first however they were that thick that the batter was still wet so also had to be thrown in the bin. Wouldn't return which is a shame as the first time we ordered it was nice but this was enough to put off another return.

Really really crispy and tasty tenders!

Located on a busy street and limited seating inside so if you want to eat inside you'd have to wait till someone finishes. Atmosphere seems good and the place is bright/vibrant. Done a nice job with the menu on the screen and the way they've displayed it. Big menu so they have a variety of options to choose from but I would say its overpriced. We got the box meal which included a chicken fillet burger, fries, few wings, a side you can choose from so we went for gravy and a drink. For the burger we asked if we can have it spicy which we got told was fine. But when it arrived it wasn't really a spicy chicken burger it was more of a zinger style which may have been because the box meal contains the fillet burger. The chicken burger wasn't very big compared to other chicken burger places. Regardless, I can say the burger was good, it was full of flavour. The wings and fries were okay, nothing special. You could tell it was fried in burnt oil, there was a slight bad smell to the fries/wings which had an impact on the taste. The fries itself were bland as they weren't really seasoned and the wings were edible. Dips are expensive but we thought we'd try out a few. The mango one was very sweet, tasted like Rubicon mango but was filled right to the top. The white ranch sauce they hardly filled the tub, I couldn't even dip my chip in that's how little they gave. Chilli and garlic sauces were good along with the gravy. The inconsistency in terms of the amount of sauce they give was very poor. This should not really be a problem as its a very simple thing to get wrong. Overall more of a standard takeaway based on the food so it doesn't match what they show you on socials as I had high hopes based on that. Box deals are good and worth the money otherwise be prepared to pay a high price, I think they charge about £2 for a can of drink. Much better places around if you're looking for a burger. BRD Fried Chicken on the same road much better food and alot cheaper.
