Lovely interior and tasty food. Service was excellent and price was great. Definitely recommend 👌

Only complaint: Soup of the Day, is always lentil & I can't eat that. Would be nice to have say minestrone as it's an Italian place !!!

Food and coffee served here is always good whenever I go for a quick dine. The staffs are all so helpful and friendly.

Great diner, opened to 9.30.pm good range of different dishes.

Love this place. The food is always good and reasonably priced, the staff are lovely. The Christmas menu in December was absolutely fantastic.

Not impressed in the slightest! Phoned and asked what time the kitchen would be closing was told 7.30pm. I asked if I needed to book and was told no. Turned up with my 11year old daughter only to be told they were closed. I explained I had phoned etc but no the kitchen was being cleaned. Not a great service at all and won't be eating there again!

While the food was utterly amazing, the service especially from Sean, who had so much patience with one of our party; was exemplary. Absolutely stellar service. Thank you

I have been many times with me and my husband and my 4 year old boy. All staff are fantastic and really understanding. My little boy loves the ice-cream and me and my husband love their pasta and the burgers. The have a wonderful drinks menu, i love the rose and they have fruit shot for my son. Great experience. Food really nice, but ordered a fish and chips but only got 1 half slice of the fish would have been happier with whole slice of fish and a lot less chips and some garden peas would have went down a treat

Our three course meal was served in a timely manner. Starters were quick and hot. Serving sizes were very generous. Lovely full size dessert. Excellent service. Great value for money.

Great cheese burger ,soup was lovely and desert great.here again mac and cheese burger and chips great well worth a visit came again today macaroni and Cheese with chips ,great .went again today, soup ,double burger, capachino where great ,well worth it. Back today spaghetti carbonara great

Had a light lunch, soup and a roll and tuna, the soup was nice and the mortans roll came with a good Portion of salad, it was a nice surprise getting the salad as I did not know it came with it,and it was good for the price.

The 2/3 course fixed is such value for money, would recommend the brushetta and fish n chips too. The staff are lovely and has been run by the same family for a long time. Always great with the kids. Nice place to watch the world for by and have food n drinks.

Partner likes steak pie as there was lot off beef which he likes in pie. I got lasugna it was nice could do with bit more flavour or garlic. Staff nice friendly.

Service I just received was absolutely appalling iv been here many times on my own for a quick lunch and never received service quite like it, entered the restaurant and was looked at up and down as if I was doing something something wrong and told to wait until she came back until I was seated , usually just told to take a seat , (the lady with the black hair and red lip stick this was who claimed she was the manager) she then told me to sit at the table in the middle to which I then asked to move further down as I always sit near the door she then replied “Move then” I then sat for a couple minutes (still no menu given) I approached her and asked her for a menu and she demanded I sat back down again and waited for one , I then asked her if she was the manager and was told yes as she huffed. Seriously disappointed usually love coming here after work etc other waiters are usually great, other customers in the restaurant witnessed this also which can’t be good for business

Don't know if the chef has changed but this place has gone down hill in the last few years..ordered a scottish breakfast with black pudding the entire breakfast was overcooked apart from the toast it was undercooked got a cup of tea could hardly get my fingers in the handle.. Won't be back

Went here for lunch and we both loved it. Bruchetta was nice as was the soup and we both had the grilled chicken which we both enjoyed. We would definitely go back. Decent price for the 2 course meal and friendly staff.

The sirlion steak was over priced, small and not of good quality with additional cost for the sauce. I also had a southern comfort and lemonade which was very weak and was charged extra again for another dash. We also were missing a meal. 3 of us had finished our food before one person had just started. In all, this visit was disappointing. Turkish claiming to be Italian.

The food is ok, the staff are very un-welcoming. They almost seemed bothered by people entering the cafe. I personally would not recommend it.

I liked this place, it felt warm and inviting. They welcome walk ins and have a set menu of 2 course meal for 10.95 per person or a 3 course meal for £12.95 per person. Or you can go to the main menu and order from their, side dishes such as chips / garlic bread are charged at £3.50 per dish. Meals vary in price depending on what it is. Portion sizes are large and filling, definitely worth the money. Water, fizzy drinks, milkshakes and alcohol are available. Drinks vary in price depending on alcoholic or non alcoholic. They have pasta dishes, burgers, fish and chips etc. The staff are friendly and helpful. I would recommend this place for a warm place to rest tired feet, or as a family before going home. Had the halloumi to start with and pollo Milanese main course, it was delicious and such good value at £10.95 for 2 courses on the set menu. New favourite restaurant in Clydebank, will def be back!

Good food cafe but I was not happy when I left the place with my partner as my white t shirt was all marks with the tables as the staff niver cleaner round the edge's off the tables so I was bmvery dispionted in this as ut not the first time I've ate in this place and that's why I've rated this 2 stars

If you are looking for good food with great choices and want something different from McDonald's then try this place, have great kids choices too with deals on 2 and 3 courses, you won't be disappointed

Excellent menu and attentive staff. Good entrance for those with mobility issues, public carparking outside the restruant. I like this place for it's menu and friendly staff.

food was poor...mozzarella sticks (out supermarket frozen) with sweet chilli sauce..???...mushroom and marinated chicken was bland and tough..all salad that was served was actually chopped cabbage with grated carrot....its about time they got someone who can cook....spoiled a thursday.. afternoon out with my daughter...wont b back !!...gave waitresses a tip felt sorry for them....wish i hadnt now after reading reviews....

Disappointed when we went to this restaurant. We waited 50-60 minutes for a toastie, when the table next to us came in after us and had a three course dinner by the time we got our toasties. Weren’t even offered complimentary drinks for such a long wait or even an apology. Our drinks were finished by the time our meal came. Very poor customer service, they only want customers in that are in purchasing expensive food, yet they have a lunch menu serving lighter snacks. So I won’t be back. Manager was very rude when asking what had happened to our meal, which we were right to do.

I've used this restaurant many times and had just about everything on their menu. I've NEVER had a bad meal or experience with it. I recommend this restaurant to everyone. We had Christmas dinner there this year and it was superb.

We have been in a few times now and enjoyed every meal. The last time we went in it was for our mothers birthday and they were extremely accommodating for us, helped us light the cake and presented it to my mum. The food is fantastic and they serve the best burger in Clydebank hands down, no one else comes close and at £11.95 for a three course meal you are not gonna find a three course meal cheaper. Even the big breakfast is cheaper than Morrisons and is a damn sight better. 10/10 my new favourite place to eat.

The place to have lunch or dinner if you go for shopping in clydbank shopping centre. Macaroni and cheese is must to try

Good wee cafe. Came for lunch with the Mrs and daughter. Service was quick and staff were good. Had toasties and halloumi veg burger. Good and tasty. Price is OK.

Really disappointed today. Had the 2 course meal, starter was nice I must say, then it went downhill from there. Carbonara pasta way undercooked, sauce tasted like packet mix cheese sauce, runny no garlic or parmigiana whatsoever. Garlic bread with cheese £3.00 was just cheese on toast. £3.00 for water & a dash of blackcurrant??

Got the 3 course meal the soup was tasteless had to drown it in pepper bread wasn't very fresh the Mac n cheese was ok I ordered side portion of chips which where lovely however I didn't realise that the portion of the Mac n cheese and chips would be massive so I got full quickly and then asked could I cancel the chocolate cake to then get a funny look and asked do I want it in a box which I replied no to then be told sorry I've already put your order through as a 3 course meal so then I had no choice to take it I really don't get why It couldn't have been voided in to a 2 course as it wasn't even served at this point I'm pretty sure if I would have ordered a 2 course then asked for cake they would have had no issue adding it on to make a 3 course

My husband and I got a 2 course dinner my starter was disgusting I didn’t eat it my husband starter was the same we got spaghetti bolognese it was tasteless and cold I didn’t eat it nor my husband he ordered garlic bread and what arrived was slice bread and garlic butter didn’t eat that either . Biggest waste of money we would get a better dinner at McDonald’s avoid !!!

I would have left no stars if I could have. My other review on their facebook was deleted so I will post on here. Staff at cafe roma are rude, my daughter and her friends came here for lunch and each got three courses. There were told to hurry up and finish by the staff as they had other customers. When they asked for the bill and were trying to work it out between them, again they were told by the staff to hurry up as they had other customers. Disgusting customer service. This was my Daughters first time going out for lunch with her friends and the staff made them feel uncomfortable!

What was meant to be a snack turned out to be a 2 course meal after I seen the menu. First time for me in Roma, and was pleasantly surprised, food was cooked to perfection, staff were excellent and the premises clean. What more do you need. If you haven’t been, give it a try , you won’t be disappointed

Roma reduced their menu and increased their prices a couple of months ago. After complaints from regular customers like ourselves, the Management decided to bring back the original menu, which is very good, and also the original price. We are delighted this has happened as we really enjoy eating there and can recommend it to anyone looking for good service and good food at a reasonable price.

Came here with my mum who used to come here regularly but had not been in some time. It was a Wednesday late lunch and there were perhaps about half a dozen tables occupied. We were seated promptly and placed our orders from the lunch menu - one course £5.95 or 2 courses £7.95. We ordered starters and mains. The starters were Roma Chicken and Mussels. There was a good sized plate of mussels and a piece of garlic bread. The Roma Chicken was 3 thin battered goujons, a dish of very strong barbecue sauce and a salad garnish. A couple of bits more chicken would have made it quite a reasonable starter. The mains were Lasagne and Carbonara. Both were basic. The lasagne was a lump of food placed in an individual serving dish which was slightly burnt around the edges and around the rim. It looked very messy. The Carbonara looked better and was reasonably tasty. There was no offer of pepper and no Parmesan which are staples in an Italian restaurant. We had a drink each which cost the same as another 2 course meal. Nothing special and nothing to entice us back.

My husband and myself have been eating lunch regularly here since this restaurant opened a few years ago. We have taken other members of our family, mainly our 15 year old grandson who loves the carbonara. A few weeks ago the lunch menu changed and half the dishes had disappeared including said carbonara and pizza (surely a standard on an Italian menu?) The prices have gone up and the quantity of food has gone down. The menu said there was a Pasta of the Day and a Soup of the Day but when we asked none were available. I agree with another contributor who said the scampi was small hard balls you couldn't cut and not even a piece of lemon. We are soooo disappointed as we have really enjoyed eating there most Saturdays but will have to think again. The ladies toilets are very nice but even they have not escaped the cut backs and now the toilet rolls are tiny, a false economy, as ladies will just use more! Please get back on track Roma and be the restaurant I reviewed years ago as great value for money.

I visited for lunch today with my partner and her children. They had been to Roma before, and raved about it. Unfortunately we all came away disappointed on this occasion...

So much to say here, there was 3 members of staff chatting at kitchen door in view of entrance door and not one of them saw us come in, eventually we were seated and given menus but there wasn’t much said then the guy walked away no drinks order taken then the girl came over and after 5 minutes of been seated asked what we would like to drink in a very rushed and rude manner and then 10 mins later food order was taken, only positive the food was lovely but not once did anyone ask if food was okay felt like we weren’t made to feel welcome at all there was no rush to clear plates either

Came to Roma for a family meal, 7 adults and 3 kids in total. We chose Roma as the service and food is usually pretty good however this visit was disgraceful. After being seated we waited 15 minutes before having to ask for menus and making a drinks order. We all decided what we wanted and made our order however still waiting for our drinks that took 15 minutes to come.

Food was very average. Despite claiming to be an Italian restaurant I settled for a very poor carbonara that I could have made at home as I didn’t fancy the authentic Italian dish “knocky” very poor obviously not checked over their menu as this is a very obvious mistake for a so called Italian. My partner had a burger which was very greasy. Overall not great.

We enjoyed a fabulous lunch last Sunday, will visit for dinner soon. Good Italian food. Nice atmosphere.

Visited here for my mum's birthday dinner. The servers were warm and friendly and very Knowledge of the menu. The cocktails are also to die for. Will be back very soon

My whole family frequently go out for dinner at Roma in Clydebank. The food is great, decent prices and staff always friendly. We have no complaints and we have been regularly for about 4 years!

I'd went for lunch with my aunt. We where seated by the window, and this ment we could watch the swans on the canal while we ate. I'd ordered the chicken arribbita and my aunt a creamy dish. Mine was nice, but just a bit to spicy.

Sunday breakfast is great at Roma good tasting food only fault is your tea is finnished before your breakfast arrives (would be good to give a second cup of tea free when food arrives)

On a visit to the town decided to try for lunch. Quite pleasant inside and staff very friendly. Ordered Minestrone soup for starter with Spaghetti Carbonara for main course, First disappointment was both courses arriving at the same time. Whilst the soup was reasonable the Spaghetti Carbonara was not good. The bacon was plentiful but came in fairly large pieces with most of these about 50% fat.

Slow slow slow staff two busy sorting out home deliveries which seem to be priority the two guys never smile the girl us ok but would not like to meet her on a dark alley very aggressive attitude and some bloke with an out of date pony tail down to his backside must be the delivery driver a bit shabby looking.

One of my favourite Restaurants. The pizza made by Ozzy is to die for and definelty the best out there. Fresh dough, quality ingredients used, cheese to sauce ratio perfect, crust spot on. Pizza is made to prefection everytime.

Doesn't look much from outside but inside it's tastefully decorated with lovely soft classical music playing in the background. Great choice of breakfast dishes at reasonable prices. We had the traditional breakfast and was presented on a lovely plate with a good helping of quality...

I was disappointed at my last visit. The service was slow and although the staff apologised, it dragged out. The restaurant was not even very busy. Tea was served without milk and I had to ask three times before it arrived. I hope it was just a bad day where things go wrong and the service will return to it's former standard.

This eating place has a good variety of dishes all cooked to order they do 2 courses during day for £7.95 they have an extensive a la carte menu too good atmosphere staff very helpful I'm a regular and would recommend it for value for money

A group of us from work went here for a Xmas lunch yesterday. Food was alright but the service was straight out of Fawlty Towers. I get that at this time of year things get a bit manic for the restaurant trade but this was ridiculous. Had to remind the waitress numerous times to bring people's starters, most of us were well into our main courses when some of the starters arrived and some people had to ask for doggy bags to take their pizza etc back to work as we had run out of time - we'd been there 2 hours! And to top it all I found a large yellow plastic bottle top (off a bottle of olive oil or something) lurking at the bottom of my spaghetti dish. To be fair my meal was immediately replaced and the manager did offer a free round of drinks but it was not a good experience. Goes without saying that I won't be back.

went for a lunch and had mussles to start, everything about them were fantastic. white wine n garlic. had a risotto for main meal with foccachia and again fantastic. staff were so friendly and helpfull and made us a mango cocktail.yummy!!!. my partner had moz sticks to start and a burger and a long island cocktail. will defo be back :-)

Husband & I ate from the lunch menu. Good selection of dishes & great value for money. Muscles & beef stroganoff were the highlights for us. Staff were very attentive & extremely friendly towards our young son. A lovely family meal. We will return.

We had a superb menu for £ 9.75 served by efficient and friendly staff. Aynur and Llona attended our table even answering in Spanish. Tried here one early evening and opted for the pre theatre menu. Good choices from menu. We had the spicy chicken wings to start which was in more of a tomato based sauce and not spicy. I had the mushrooms with pate which was just ok. Wouldn't order again. We both ordered the ribeye at a supplement and ordered these rare. They came out med to well done at best. Thin steak with quite a lot of inedible fatty bits. I know ribeye is a fattier cut but this was excessive. The waitress came over and asked how meal was. We said just ok as felt bad complaining when it was a pre theatre but in hindsight I wish I had returned them. The steaks lacked seasoning also. Nearly 50quid grudgingly spent between food and drinks. It's my own fault for not commenting at the time but if your looking for food in the area I think there are better options elsewhere.

Ate here in March , table service was very efficient , drinks arrived promptly ,and food was hot and tasty when it arrived , its in phase 2 of the Clyde shopping centre .A good restaurant easy to get to , average prices .

Roma is a great place to enjoy a meal out. The service is very good and the staff are very friendly and make you. Feel at home. The food is lovely and there is a great choice. Would recommend this restaurant without hesitation.

My visit was swift but pleasant.I was accompanied by a friend and our pizzas came out quicker than you could say "smell yer maw".Your waitress was a delight and easy on the eyes.She did however comment on the depressing music in your restaurant and we could not agree more. Anywayssssss. The pizza was great and we shall be back again soon.Peace out.RW

I thought breakfast pizza and breakfast bruchetta sounded hilarious so we went in and were utterly delighted cheap delicious breakfast. Perfect poached eggs and beautifully served. I think they needed to have extra staff on as there was 1 chef and 1 waitress who was doing a very good job making coffees whilst serving - she earned her tip!

I ate here with my Mum and Gran. The menu suited the 3 of us even though we all like different things. The customer service was excellent, the food was great and value for money! Nice atmosphere and anytime I have ate here or passed it has been really busy which says it all really.

I have been in here a few times and it has been ok, but to watch them heat ready made lasagne in the microwave and serve it, the burger was not properly cooked and for what we paid for it we won't be back.

Had brunch here the day before mothers day and it was fantastic! My fiance loves the breakfast pizza. I had a delicious omlette but ive also had the breakfast bruschetta which was amazing!! Its so cheap! And the staff are lovely. We had our one year old with us and they kept coming over to talk to him. He was all smiles. Cant fault the place.

Went on saturday for a meal with my wife. Ordered chicken on a skewer but served chicken in a bowl ? Have to be honest and wasnt the best .£5.80 for a glass of wine ? You dont pay that in glasgow .the lunch/pre theatre seems best option. Unfortunatly i wont be returning .

Well this is one of the best Italian restraunts I think in Clydebank it has brilliant food and great atmosphere the staff approach you Nicely and take you to a sutibale table they have a phenomanel menu also with a kids menu for adults they have a bar just in case you need a little sip.

Came in at 16.40 on Saturday afternoon took advantage of the lunch menu ..great choices and reasonably priced .. Staff were very efficient and attentive ..but food was quite slow .. But wasn't in a hurry so no harm done ..will be back

We booked this restraunt for my husbands 70th birthday meal and there was 30 friends and family to celebrate with us, the meal and staff was excellent, the could not do enough for us.
