I eat here at least twice a month. I would be in every day if I could. I have had pretty much everything on the menu and its all excellent, however the curry is something else. Its not the usual curry like you get everywhere else, its truly exceptional. If you are within 50 miles of Limavady its worth the trip. Its probably worth moving to Limavady for. If you like your curry with half chips and half rice, the chips are also superb. One other thing. The tea is made with tea leaves. Its not often you get a tea strainer with your cuppa, what a difference real tea makes. Great restaurant/ cafe, plenty of parking outside. In my humble opinion, the best place to eat in the North West.

Travelled up from Sligo and we were hungry and we spied the Roe Diner and pleased we did. A pleasant place which was clean and comfortable with friendly staff and freshly prepared food of a great standard at reasonable cost.

We come here regularly for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Breakfast is superb. Homemade soda and pancakes. Toast is nice thick crusty bread. My son doesn't like crispy bacon so the owner cooks it lightly for him but perfectly for us with some crispy bits. Good coffee was served, not bitter or too strong. For lunch and dinner, there's enough choice on the menu. The curry is as good as any I've tasted in Southall but not too spicy, thankfully. Just good flavours. Anything here is made fresh and well cooked. Chips are homemade too. Delicious. The staff are friendly and so accommodating. We love coming here to eat even if it is a little out of the way. The other thing is that it's cash only so be prepared. An American tourist family had to be helped because they only had euros and no Sterling. The poor father had been driving around trying to find a cash machine that took his card.

Have called in here on way to Benone last two times. Both times our breakfasts have been first class. Home made soda is the star of the show but cant fault anything on the plate. Add in the wonderful service from a lady that cant do enough for you and we have an absolute winner. Can safely say best breakfast i have ever had and ive had a few!

I had driven past the Roe Dinner many times, and always said to myself I must try it out sometime! Well I'm glad I did, a lovely, airy, spacious, clean and welcoming wee spot! The perfect spot for a quick bite, whether it be a snack or they bountiful All-Day fry! I had lovely home made goujons with chips and it was just perfect! I could not eat all my chips, but it was not because there was anything wrong...I was simply full. And I ordered a tea and got a lovely pot of tea maid with loose tea, and was supplied a wee tea strainer - very nice touch! The food is not gourmet or fancy, but is exactly what you want when out and about and feel the hunger pangs! And edition all bonus is the fact that you can park just outside the door!

Went.last night for the first time in 2025, meal was outstanding as was the service. 1st time back in over a year. Went elsewhere because I felt the standard had fallen of a cliff. Tonight was bunged being Paddy's night so I am guarded about what I want to say. Standard is better than last season, but still just OK. It's not enough to pay over the odds and travel the distance. The steak was just OK, the pepper sauce was poor but the tobacco onions were very good. Service was good considering the crowd and staff were professional, if a little rushed. I will reserve proper judgement until I go on a weekday or any day accept a public holiday. I do generally like this place, love its location and the atmosphere, just wish I could rave about the food, unfortunately at this time I can't.
