I ordered a doner kebab and a pizza. The pizza was lovely and the crust was nice and crispy but it was expensive for it's size. The doner kebab tasted fine but was dripping with grease.

One of the best kebabs I have had for a while. Nice with separate container for sauce, salad and the meat.

I ordered two pizza’s from this place one being a Lauren Pizza and the other a Pepperoni plus. When they got delivered to us, the Lauren pizza was absolutely fine but the other pizza had everything on it but pepperoni (being as it was to suppose to be a Pepperoni plus).We then contacted them about the issue they apologised and said they’ll send a new one out. They did send a new a replacement but this time they sent the exact same pizza I didn’t want but just with 4 pieces of pepperoni. Never normally have issues with this takeaway until today just a bit disappointing really.

Always friendly and welcoming, Excellent selection of food. We always enjoy our food from here. Always looks very clean too!

All I can say is how awful my pitta bread was swimming in fat in the box. meat was hardly cooked garlic bread was greasy and tasteless overall terrible experience wouldn’t feed it to a dog

Food (king burger and pizza, 2 nights) was fantasticfantastic, as the the service, less so coked up locals, but they can't be blamed for that. All in all, would happily go back the next time I'm in the area

First time we have tried this takeaway, the meat was cooked to perfection, plenty of salad rice and bread, all really delicious, thankyou we will be back.

Ordered in December food arrived cold, and wrong order. Order amended but the order was wrong again. Tried again and thought going into the shop to order would make a difference. order not right again, food expensive for cold greasy food. Spent £11 for cold meat and cabbage which again is in the bin. Never again.

What a disaster!! Have gone down hill big time, waited over 2 hours for my food when I rung back the rude woman on the phone forgot to take my address and didn't bother to ring me back, she wasn't even sorry, she said she would put some complimentary food to apologise but never did. Food portions really small so disappointed, bad service bad food such a shame was a really good place before My post 9 months ago This is the best kebab shop I have ever come across, I'm not on for writing reviews at all but this needed to be done. Never had lamb so tender and succulent, chicken is juicy, doner meat is fresh a moist, pitta breads are soft and fresh. Seriously the best kebab shop ever! Feel like the value of my property just went up because of this kebab shop :)

I’ve just recently moved to Rochford and this evening i experienced the worst ever kebab it cost me £18.90 for a mixed grill from the rochford takeaway the lamb was tough and disgusting absolute rip off won’t be going back..

Probably still one of the best kebabs I've ever had

Only Ordered my food at 6:12pm got to me at 6:13am, came a bit cold but none the less beautiful ice cream soup with a hint of lime, my burger was gorgeous, filled with so many flavours including the paper bag it came in with it marinating in the there all night, very impressed indeed.

Our pizza where chucked in our porch so all the toppings were slid off absolute mess ! Tried to make do but were greasy waste of money

This place delivers great tasty food/takeaway. The burgers are amazing and good variety to choose from. Think ordering for family is good value for money as get a lot food for money. Place is always busy so that says something. Wish they would do a chicken doner as well, but you you never know.

Ordered 2 large pizzas and garlic bread all of which were fantastic. Made fresh and just as good if not better than Dominos and Papa John’s. Will definitely go back again.

Probably the best place to grab a huge jacket potato with beans and chilli sauce this is my go to place in the Southend area for great takeaway food at reasonable prices. Pittas are freshly toasted and the hummus is delicious. Service is quick and staff are friendly

Lovely food,polite staff well worth a try

Ordered a medium kofte kebab last night.When I opened it when I got home was greeted with only one piece of meat broken in half looked like it had been kicked around the floor and raw chips with wrong sauce. Staff are rude, chilli sauce tastes like tomato water with no flavour or kick. Salad was ok would like to see improvements

Great day out for me and my son who is 5. Used a 2 for 1 voucher so was only £26. Cant beat that for value.

Pizzas, which are quite standard, are a little on the dear side for me.

The Rochford takeaway offers both walk in to collect and home delivery. A wide variety of dishes, including kebabs, burgers and pizza are available. I suppose I must use this takeaway about once a month for home delivery and I have always found the service to be both friendly and efficient and the food to be of a high standard.

This is not just a kebab take away! Over many years of trading in Rochford, this local grill has adapted its menu to provide a vast variety of Mediterranean cooked dishes. Pizza, chicken, shish kebab, raps, ¼ and ½lb burgers along with salads, jacket potato and various deserts and soft drinks. Check out their menu. The staff are super friendly and helpful too.

We have used this takeaway for years but never thought to review it. Always, fresh, always the right order, polite and friendly service. I have always had a good experience and my children have also enjoyed the food over the years. Simple, well cooked 'comfort' food.

Placed a large order for takeaway pizza to be delivered to a local scout campsite in order to revive our flagging troups after a very long hot day of full on activities. The guys at Rochford Takeaway were so helpful and friendly and they made our life so easy. The pizza arrived exactly on time, piping hot and included a couple of extras on the house. Such good value for money and it definitely put a smile on lots of tired faces - would definitely recommend these guys!!!

We recently moved to rochford and as with a lot of things you take advice of friends and went to stavros. Well to put it politely I won’t be going back there again. On the other hand though I figured I would try the Rochford Takeaway and I was blown away the kebabs are superb and the pizza are fantastic. I’ve yet to try the other items but so far I’m super impressed. I would highly recommend this takeaway to any one.

The food was really nice. very generous toppings on the pizza and lovely chicken dippers. The delivery time was not as expected. Just Eat had it down as 20:05 and the restaurant added 10 minutes so we were expecting it at 20:15 but it showed up 25 minutes early! That's sort of good as we were hungry but not really ready, I'd prefer a more accurate estimate!

Pizzas were delicious. Delivery man was very friendly and courteous. Great service all round.

absolute jank dont know what happened here but there lamb shish was so chewy i gave it to my dog phoned to complain he admitted the lamb was crap and said he wouldnt eat it and was suppliers thought so gave it a couple of weeks ordered it again was the same change the supplier

Yes the old chicken nuggets are back, this was a great meal we'll be coming back for more very soon!

Change of chicken nuggets, they are cheaper and don't taste as good, they also fall apart in your hand..

Went to order a quick bite as I walked passed. Took over 5 minutes to order a portion of chips. 10 minutes later no chips. Walked out without paying and without my order. What a waste of time. Customer service was a myth.

I have visited this place before and it used to be great, looks like it's changed hands as the friendly service was not there. Don't get me wrong, this is a decent run of the mill Kebab shop, with a very limited menu. One of my friends asked for a chicken donor, was met with the response of and I quote "we don't do chicken donor, can you read the menu" Very sad, as the guy spoke poor English (ironic). You want customers, just point out that you don't do chicken donor and offer an alternative, very sad indeed. You want customer service, then avoid this place. What happened! Didn't want to make a fuss and disappointed at that comment. Learn to speak the language and treat your customers with respect. You have lost a lot of custom. Sorry, but cannot recommend this place and will never go there again. Great way to go Idhao 😔

Una buena para llevar con una variedad de platos. Generalmente tienen una carne de donantes y mi madre como el mejor donante kebab que tuvo durante muchos años. Las raciones son generosas, los precios razonables, la calidad de la feria. El personal recuerda los asiduos y son agradables y simpáticos a todo el mundo. Dado el número de casas públicas en Rochford una conveniente parada en el camino a casa.

Twice I ordered in one week and I had something wrong with the order,first one was payment problem as they didn't show the driver how to use it the credit cards machine and today the order was wrong with the salad and the sauces and after 16 min of wait they send a bit of sauce and a bit of lettuce and that time I already finished my food, the only thing he said sorry about the wait

I'm mot a huge lover of kebabs, mainly cause a lot of them don't look very clean.... A colleague recommended me Rochford Takeaway.... A few months ago I tried them for the first time and since then it has been my only kebab takeaway of...

We have used this takeaway on numerous occasions, usually having delivery. The food (pizzas, garlic bread, kebabs and burgers) are hot and delicious. Once previously they got an order wrong (ham and pineapple pizza arrived instead of ham and mushroom) but not a big deal. They have always delivered on time or ahead of time. This evening we placed an order around 7.15 and asked for delivery at 8pm (allow time to pick my son up). Nothing arrived so my husband phoned - running late so would be with us by 8.10. At 8.15 still nothing had arrived. Another call and we were told driver left 5 minutes ago. Finally arrived at 8.20. However, on opening his kebab my husband discovered it covered in chilli sauce (he had specifically requested garlic sauce as he can't eat chilli). Another call and a replacement turned up within minutes (this time with the correct sauce but with onions which he had requested not to have). Also a complimentary bottle of coke and an apology.
