Roasty Cafe & Bakery in Luton

We've eaten here and had take away several times. The people are always friendly, and the food is great. The Roasty really stands out in a crowded market of similar, but not so good, places.

Food was a bit overpriced for the area and for what it was. Very average food quality and not that hot when it arrived. Could get the same or better from a supermarket. However their chicken was nice and well cooked.

Ordered for a large family, all of the food was cooked to perfection and tasted amazing. Portion sizes were large, everything in the menu is really really nice! Service was probably one of the best in Luton.

We paid £35 for a burnt lamb wrap with 10 chips as a meal, salad for three people thrown into one box absolutely drenched in what tastes like malt vinegar and a 1/2 chicken that had absolutely no salt and was inedible! We also received different drinks to the ones we paid for! What’s worse is that when we called to inform the owner that we had received food to an inadequate standard, we spoke to the owner himself who was extremely defensive and RUDE! Stating that Uber Eats takes 30% of the money we pay and that he hasn’t received the funds yet so we should complain to them and not him. There was absolutely no responsibility accepted for the poor quality food that is now going in the bin. Avoid this place at all costs, you’re not valued as a paying customer and the owner will do his best to absolve himself should you make a legitimate complaint. Awful!

I have been trying to find a restaurant which is genuine and does not cut corners, I love the food and I have not had anything which matches the flavours, the Lamb Shanks just falls off the bone ,I had the marrow from the Shanks which is the 1st time I have been able to do. The Zatar,Sumac and the other flavours are excellent. If you want tender lamb not forgetting the Hummus which is beyond words.my wife after the 1st visit, then went back to Roastys. Why ? Because you can't get anything better in Luton.

Another great addition to Upper George Street along with Cafe Zandra's. Food is all fresh and delicious and big portions. Well worth a visit.

This restaurant is hands down lovely is has a lovely atmostphere and on top of that the food is crazy delicious i love it! The food here is really cheap aswell making it perfect i come here as much as i can!!

The restaurant was very nice - it had such a great atmosphere within it, with lots of families enjoying there meals especially mine! The food was so authentic and traditional which I liked.

One of the best arabic food places in luton to my experience food served fresh cooked in front of you if you wish to watch me and the family have made it a place we visit once a week meat dishes are our choices the staff friendly and well experienced there is also outside seating if you wish to drink mint tea there also £35-£40 for me the wife and little one is not a bad night out so all an all a well recommended place for family friends everyone do try will not be dissatisfied

This place is a nice quiet place that serves food kebabs for meat lovers its a dream come true food made with love staff friendly and very helpful and not at all expensive meal for the 3 of us have been Bach 4 times now well recommended for all

Place was discovered by the wife have lived in luton all my life was amazed with the food that was served did not no this place existed friendly staff and food was cooked to satisfaction evan the little one was gassed I don't like it I love it was her remarks would recommend to all to go try the food to much to list will be going again very soon

Cean and healthy place to eat with friedns or family, came here with my wife for lunch food was nice, different flavours, just need to take card payments.

Walked out with moussaka for lunch 20 mins ago .... got to work and chilli tab was frozen .... mayo semi frozen. Would they serve a chilli ice cube on top of the dish if ate in??? So far this place had a great reputation .... yet if sauce pots are frozen I’m worried about their food. Fresh food prep is what will take you further my friends.... last time I have have dined with yourselves. Good luck!

Some of the best food I’ve had. Sharwama is excellent as well as just the standard burgers. It can get busy but worth the wait.

Visited here as it looked quite nice, asked if anything was gluten free as I am a coeliac and was met with blank faces, asked to speak to the chef and the person serving said they were the chef and that they couldn't tell me any of the ingredients and if anything had wheat in, was made to feel like an inconvenience, despite the fact they have an allergy disclaimer on the back of their menus stating if you have an allergy "speak to staff". Avoid if you have any special dietary requirements.

This is my second visit . Only had a drink this time but the food looks so fresh and amazing. Everything on view in the large fridge and cooked on display. If I wasn't on a meal deal at my hotel I would certainly eat here.

Definitely not the best I have had. Food was alright. Had grilled chicken with fries and the Mrs had a mix of fries\ rice with chicken. Didn’t enjoy it at all.

The food was absolutely amazing and I don’t usually like restaurants in Luton despite Nando’s but my food today tasted beyond amazing!!!

A large plate consisting of grilled half a chicken, seasoned rice and fresh crunchy Moroccan salad with spicy optional dressing for £5 - delicious and enough for two people!

Delicious tasty and fresh food. Really enjoyed my chicken steak fillets and the portion sizes are huge! The lunch offer is great, £5 for a meal. They also do a great mint tea. Would definitely return.

Myself and my work colleagues takeaway from here every now and again. Food quality, price and service are all excellent.

Called in and ordered a couple of Turkish snacks plus a coffee. They forgot my snacks and then remembered and didn't charge me. Genuine error and great customer service. Coffee and snacks very nice.

My colleagues introduced to this place saying the food was really but obviously I had to try it myself to believe it. I had the chicken tagine with rice and it tasted pretty amazing. It was all freshly cooked and the service was very good. I would definitely go again!!!

It is very nice and tasty and deferent from other restaurants and they have every day new dish . Very recommend.👌👌👌

Colleague and I eat here regularly and it NEVER disappoints - when asked what’s good there by others we always reply Everything!!!! I am very ‘fussy’ about lamb and I have to say Roasty’s is some of the best there is .
