Rios Piri Piri Stourbridge in Dudley

I hate to complain I've never had a bad meal from Rios but the other night I made an order and my food was raw. I now have food poisoning the week of my 30th birthday absolutely fuming. Sorry rios never ordered again.

Terrible terrible customer service extremely disturbing and disappointing with how rude one of the owner talks. We were regular customers of Rios and now Will be regular customers of pepes down the road!

I ordered here and sat in, food tasted fine while I was here but the next day I was violently ill from the chicken. I know other people that have experienced the same thing from this same shop.

Great burger!! It was our first time visit to this place, The burger was huge and the portion size was decent too. Food was cooked fresh. Did I mention the burger was nice. I went for the spicy fillet burger with spicy fries 🍟. Very tasty and had a nice little kick to it too. Staff were pleasant and welcoming too. I had the strawberry beverage wish I had gone for the large as it was a nice change to the normal coke. Will definitely go back.

We ordered a wings plater but the price was the same as 3 seperate set of wings. It was so dry with barely any sauce and it smelled bad like rotten chicken.

i have never been but im sure its better pepes btw dont go to pepes the roof was leaking and it was empty i now see why the radio is tryying to over sound the rats in the walls rios is way better.

If I could give this Rio’s a 0 I would. They do not deserve the 1 star I gave them. We ordered 3 peice chicken and chips and the one peice of chicken was fresh however the other two were really old, stale and hard and the chips were also old like they had been fried in dirty oil. We called up the shop to complain and they were extremely rude and did not how to talk to a customer. They claimed we were lying and also claimed that the shop was busy however when I went in it was not busy, the staff were stood around doing nothing. Not only was the food horrible but the customer service was terrible. It’s disgusting the way they talk to customers, they have no respect for anyone. This is not the first time this has been experienced, Rios needs to recruit new staff who have experience with talking to customer and who have manners. We will not be coming back to this Rio’s and I advise u to not buy from here as well because the food and customer service is both bad.

Came here to have lunch after my car broke down near by and was waiting for recovery… had the chicken burger meal, was delicious. (The shop was really busy and the meat was cooked to perfection)… liked it so much after waiting hours for my car to be fixed it was dinner time… so I came back and had the beef burger… again on point. Will definately be back.

Disappointing Experience As a regular customer of Rios piri piri , I was deeply disappointed by my recent visit, the treatment received from the staff left much to be desired. Upon arrival, I politely requested to use the restroom, only to be met with a surprising refusal from the staff. Despite explaining my urgent need, they remained adamant, citing unspecified reasons for their decision. While I understand the importance of certain policies, denying access to a restroom without valid justification reflects poorly on the establishment's commitment to customer satisfaction. I hope Rios addresses this issue promptly to ensure future guests are treated with the respect and courtesy they deserve.

Reply for previous Response : I appreciate your prompt response, but I must clarify that I was not informed that the restroom was out of order. Rather, I was explicitly told that I couldn't use it. As a delivery driver, access to restroom facilities is a basic need, essential for our well-being during our time at your restaurant. I hope this policy isn't due to my role as a driver. It's important to recognize that access to restroom facilities is a fundamental right for all individuals, regardless of their occupation. "If drivers are unable to utilize the toilet facilities, it is advisable to prominently display a sign indicating the unavailability of restroom amenities for drivers." Thank you for your attention to this matter.

Came here and as soon as I walked in I was shocked by how nice the shop looked, I was greeted very kindly from bossman very top bloke, I ordered the 5 stripe for £5 absolutely astonishing price because I asked for the spicy ones and I was amazed it was absolutely amazing I recommend this place 10/10 left a fart 🤣

Food was hot cooked to order really tasty

Have used Rio's frequently over the last few years, but tonight's food was poor! Platter of hot wings were soggy and half went in the bin, along with the cold soggy chips! The chicken grillets were tiny! The chicken burger was soggy, hard, full of bones and veins! Inedible! Also went in the bin! Wasted £30! Rio's you have lost good customers tonight!!!

Great staff, food was excellent but I do think it was overpriced. Overall the quality of service, the quality of the food and how friendly and helpful the staff were I’d rate 10/10.

Food was decent but the fact they forgot to send the drinks we had paid for as part of a meal ruined the whole experience, not happy, feel robbed, disappointing show from Rios piri piri ,tried but probably wont use again as i expect to receive everything i order and pay for...shame because food wasnt bad.

A ‘go to’ for us. Used it when out in Stourbridge to eat in after a drink, and collected to take home in an evening. Never a bad meal, polite and quick service.

Ordered half chicken (bbq) and piri fries. Honestly can not express how amazing this food is, far beyond the quality of Nando’s. The sauces are super tasty too. Chicken was cooked to perfection and the flavour ran deep within it, the fries were perfectly crispy with just the right amount of seasoning. Somewhat spicy but manageable enough to enjoy each of the flavours. Very reasonably priced too. Actually can’t fault them!! Will be ordering again, that’s for sure. Thank you guys!!

Quick delivery, discounted On a Monday we had chicken, rice & chips with wings. Food was hot and delivery man was friendly. We would use again and recommend.

Fantastic place... well kept/clean, great food and warm/friendly service. We popped in after a gig at the Town Hall for a take-away, and felt so welcome that we decided to eat in. Highly recommend.

Came to eat here on the 22/07/23 as a family after swimming. The guy who served us had great customer service, polite, friendly and a genuine nice person with a nice energy! The food was hot and tasty! I definitely recommend this place to eat.

We ordered a takeaway for collection. The food was simply great and prepared in time and piping hot. I was even asked for sauces and recommended some to try. The food is spicy but amazingly good, and is now certainly on our list of takeaways. Parking wise you have Stourbridge, High Street and the issues of any town high street, but you can always find parking.

Ordered a piri piri burger over the phone, when I got home it was a plain chicken & was rock hard. Not impressed won't be going back

Come on guys, sort your garlic mayo portions out...you are serious being a little tight on these. They were small, but now even smaller. Stop being so tight. The sauce makes the meal. You have plenty of profit from your meals, you can't be scrimping on the sauce

Really enjoyed my food but admittedly it was spicier that I'd normally like but that was my own fault and I wouldn't hesitate to go back the lad serving was extremely helpful and the shop was very clean

I was recently in Rios Piri Piri and was dissatisfied with the service. The staff was a little bit rude and unhelpful. The food itself was adequate but not exceptional. They had a good selection of piri piri chicken dishes with good flavours. However, the restaurant's overall atmosphere was dampened by the poor service. In terms of staff attitude and customer service, the restaurant could use some improvement. In comparison to other similar restaurants in the area, the prices are also a little high. Overall, I would give Rios Piri Piri a three-star rating because the food is good but the service is poor.

We’ve been going to Rio’s since it first opened. At first it was amazing, now it’s just not worth the money. Prices have risen significantly, which I get due to inflation etc but you don’t expect the quality and quantities to be reduced. I’ve always ordered the Grillets with every order but just recently I’ve become so disappointed with them. They’re literally less than half the size of what they used to be with little to no flavoured sauce on them. We spent more on this takeout than we did going to the new Grill It restaurant to eat out and the difference in quality just doesn’t compare. Won’t be going here again for the foreseeable future.

Food is good but the place is never open when it’s supposed to be. Always call ahead before making the journey to check is my advice. They open late and close early without any warning or update on social media or changes to their opening times online. Very frustrating! Don’t know how you can run a business like this.

Came into rios today with my girlfriend, we waited at the side minding our own business waiting for our just eat order, I kissed my girlfriend once on the lips and instantly the RUDE clearly virgin server with black glasses instantly piped up and told me to “take it outside”. And said he was trying to take a customers order. We were out of the way on the side of the establishment and kissed once! And got told this! Absolute disgrace who does he think he is ? He should be minding his own business and focusing on taking the customers order. This a public business in the UK and should be respectful of the UK culture and people. Also they didn’t take into consideration has anxiety and the way the server acted really put her mental health risk! Disgusting behaviour from the staff!

Food was good ordered a few times ago but this time food was rather salty

Good although order was wrong I couldn't be arsed to complain, but it was lovely. Ordered via app and told it would be ready by 18.00 but wasn't ready till 18.15. This didn't bother me but for others who are on a tight schedule with work breaks it maybe a problem. Other then that lots of hot, delicious, fresh food at an excellent price.

They got order completely wrong. Didn't want to help and didn't care that they were mostly to blame. Which was a massive shame and very disappointing. I ordered through Deliveroo and told them I was using an App and online discount code. They assumed I ordered through their app (he didn't ask if it was through Deliveroo or not and didn't even take my name or address) so took NO RESPONSIBILITY and fobbed us off by claiming it was the 3rd parties (Deliveroo's) fault that Rio's couldn't see the additional notes (as per what I was advised to write on notes by staff member) on the order. Even though I called prior to order to explain the changes they still screwed up and didn't WANT TO help at all. Kids and family very disappointed but the Rio's staff and management are very slippery and horribly stubborn when they can't be arsed with giving actual customer service. I've seen it all before and there's no point expecting certain types of people to use compassion or empathy when blood doesn't actually flow to their hearts. Unfortunately, they are now filed under EVIL. P.s Don't bother responding as I don't care what you have to say. As you gave no value to what I had to say when trying to rectify this issue. You may come across as complete tw*ts. But you don't care, do you? Coz you know that TAKING money is more important.

Ordered from here lots of times, and havnt had an issue until today… me and my partner bit into our burgers and they were so pink inside!!!! I rang the shop and was met with a bad attitude and was told ‘my chicken isn’t pink’ and ‘I eat from here everyday nothing is wrong with it’ after saying I could show them pictures to prove this and how usually I enjoy their food - but after the lack of courtesy with no apology, bad attitude and pink chicken, I will never eat from here again!!!

I’m really disappointed because I ordered 2 rancho burger for takeaway when I came home started to eat the inside was raw fully pink when I called them they just said it’s pink because it’s fresh beef.🤦🏼‍♀️ Hang up. Then I called again the girl received try to say same thing she knew by now that I was right when I said give the manager she just said we are closing and hung up. Really unprofessional I wouldn’t even give a ⭐️.

I have ordered several times from Rio's now and each time the food and delivery has been spot on. If you love grilled food and fancy a change to your normal restaurant, then Rio's will not disappoint you.

Shocking place, management rude,threats of just go, and get out I'm refusing to serve YOU! Because of Advertising offers that don't exist, trying to sell other products at more expensive prices, used before and told there's wasn't any chicken left, (3pm Saturday afternoon) so why still be open, if its chicken products you sell? NEVER AGAIN!

My life was an utter misery until i had the privilege of trying a burger from here. Each bite of the food tasted like the tears of angels with a hint of world peace. I recommend coming here of you are recently coming of a divorce or a breakup or an injury as the food will instantly heal you and give you maximum satisfaction. I am not sure where I would be in life if I didn't discover this absolute marvellous place of dining

Absolutely impeccable food , such succulent chicken and marinated perfectly. The piri piri fries were seasoned perfectly too not one chip without seasoning.

Food was ordered at 8.40 and arrived just after 10pm, despite saying on just eat it would arrive within 45 minutes. When it finally did arrive the food wasn’t hot or even warm, it required reheating and I don’t know how long it had been in the car, the packaging was practically melting onto the food because of the condensation from the food. Not very happy at all! I called the restaurant to advise them, instead they chose to blame just eat and take no responsibility! Usually always order from rios but not happy with it at all.

Me and my family ordered food one of the chicken salad we got smelled funny so we try calling they didn't pick up and when they did they accused us for of lying.

No doubt food is good and fresh but the guy who running the store not sure he's owner or manager,his attitude is not acceptable ordered my rice meal asusual mango lime & extra hot but just gave me mild and i saw it at home,i talked on phone and wasn't accepting their mistake and keep saying chef saying he did put all sauces and tune he used was really rude and cut me off without satisfying,had to go to shop again to show them that i was on right but still he was like isn't mango lime,it eas mango lime but where was extra hot , was taking his chef side totally.It wasn't first time they doing this mistake they have had done so many times but this time they way he speaks wasn't acceptable at all. At the end i took my money back and came out from shop and told them I'm not gonna get food from here ever again where they dont respect their customers at all. He's boldy tall guy on counter.

Nice alternative to Nandos. A good choice of food with varied levels of spice. Staff friendly and polite. Place is nice and clean. Seems popular with Uber drivers. Loses a point as the large drink is a medium and if you like your spice ( like i do) you need a good refreshing drink to.wash it down. Ive added the menu so prices right as per date 03/06/22

Food is always delayed. Says 60mins takes 90-120. Taste good when it arrives though.

Update: you've halved the size of the chicken in the frango burger and the double burger! So the double is more like a single with how small each piece is! not happy at all :( sort it out please! We travel from Wolverhampton to come here ..... I've moved away from Stourbridge but visited today, exceptional service by sulaiman as usual, give that man a pay rise! Food was lovely.

Total joke. Placed an order and an hour later it gets cancelled due to a delivery problem. The food here tastes good but their delivery and service is awful every single time. Only order if you don't mind waiting over an hour, and even then it might not turn up!

Ordered here previously and Food is definitely on point but if you want delivery wait 2+ hours. You call the branch and they don't even answer.. rather go collect it!! Why be on just eat when you can't fulfill orders in time! Disappointed this time
