Rio's Piri Piri in Birmingham

I didn’t even receive my food the delivery driver didn’t deliver it to me I never gave them my code.

Order grande and rodeo . Normally they got a chunk of breast,1 piece in each. First time order from city and they put breast strips in my burgers.

Best burger ever! Highly recommend it.

Burgers alright , but u left my mango and lime sauce. And try cooking the burger bun it’s too soft.

Absolutely fuming ,, I had revived my order got home a took a bite out of my rice box. Felt something sharp assuming it was a bone it was a piece of plastic that looks like glass. Instead of them dealing with the situation they called me a liar and ended the call. This is not how you deal with complaints. I have no reason to lie about what I’ve found in my food ,, absolutely disgusting !!!!!!!! I can’t believe what I’ve found and how they have treated me !!!

I must say that my food took incredibly long and when I received my food after paying more than I would at Pepe’s and an unreasonable amount for my meal, the worst thing is that even the sauces I’ve been charged for everyone i only got one free with the meal thats cheap man especially when you spend a good amount you'd expect a few at least for free so you can dip without paying extra for everything, the large option on the menu does not make a difference and im not sure whats worse the presentation and taste of food or the customers service, will not be coming back here again.

Ive been here a few times, food wasnt too bad but staff are always very rude, i ordered on the touch screen, then the guy called my order number out and literally threw my food on the counter and walked away, i asked for extra sauce and again he just threw it at me and walked away, wont he coming here again

The staff were rude. One of the Staff I think his name was Uddin didn’t even have a clue on what’s going on and can’t speak one proper sentence of English. I ordered dine-in and he kept telling me to take it away even though there were tables and seats available to us. He was quite rude and dismissive. The food also reflected their behaviour and efforts as it was terrible. Would never recommend nor would I come here again. If I could give negative stars I would.

Excellent place just outside Aston University, Birmingham. Excellent food, their Grande Burger Meal was awesome tasty and worth every penny.. Staff Mr. Miah had provided and exceptional service..

Absolutely disgusted with my order this afternoon. I got the chicken rice, and it was a complete disaster. The chicken was practically raw, and the rice was an overcooked. After just a few bites, I felt sick and ended up vomiting. I’ve been a regular here for ages, usually coming in on my lunch breaks during the week, and I’ve always loved the food. But after today? Never again. This place has seriously gone downhill. Do you even care about food safety? Serving raw chicken is beyond unacceptable. I wouldn’t be surprised if people end up with food poisoning eating here. Avoid this place unless you enjoy being served inedible garbage!

ALWAYS GETS MY ORDER WRONG. they claim they check the receipts but they don’t, on top of that their phone number never works so i can never let them know abt the wrong order. This has happened way too many times and they need to fix it. Pmo.

Staff are very unhygienic, no hair nets or gloves, to top this off give me a burn wrap with literally black pieces from the girdle, I have been a loyal customer for years from Rio’s, this branch is far from the worse, management please get new staff for your own sake, don’t stay open late if you can’t even have the basics in check

Average piri chicken shop, super super overpriced for the food. Microwaved chicken and rice is ridiculous and £10.99 for half a chicken alone no sides is crazy. They’re just taking advantage of late opening times on a uni campus. Playing arab music, overly loud with one person working overnight. Crazy.

Ordered food from rios and the chicken was raw, the service was terrible, the guy dont know how to cook. I tried to call the shop to talk about the issue and no one answered

Possibly the worst grilled chicken I’ve ever had, poor staff hygiene and customer service too, wouldn’t recommend this place at all. Ordered extra hot and it barely had any flavour, if I ordered mild I would’ve been satisfied with the flavour, very small portion size too.

The chicken had gone off and they tried to mask it with the peri peri. Meanwhile, the portion of chips was tiny and the taste was lacklustre. Definitely not worth the money. Won't be going back.

The food preparation process is very unhygienic. I saw the chef picking up garbage from the floor and using the same tongs for grilling chicken. And he was also using the same tongs for vegetarian and meat. Big no to this place.

Delicious food, speedy service (to be fair there was very little people when visited it, so I can't be sure how it would go when busy). It surprised me in a good way that the spicy chicken was really spicy :) Also the fish and chips so far it's been the best I've ever had.

Had amazing food here. Whole chicken here is delicious, and same goes for chicken and rice! Not just that, their kadak chai is something everyone needs to try. Apart from the food, the staff is really friendly, they are knowledgeable and the customer service given is delightful. Must visit store!

Believe me when I say… I NEVER leave reviews. But this- hands down- has to be one of the worst establishments ever. Your order either takes too long, or it’s wrong. Or both. Not to mention the TERRIBLE customer service. It’s not worth the price. Just go to Pepe’s or somewhere else. Please save your money.

If you’re looking for a meal at 2am always order from Rio’s in Aston from Uber eats!! The food is always fresh and tastes amazing and is always hot too and delivery is soooo quick! The brothers that work there are really nice and always read the notes you have for them on the Uber eats app. I’ve ordered 2 times already and both times the food tasted fresh and amazing! Hats off to you guys and in’sha’allah I’ll be ordering more in the future lol!

Did not order spicy as there wasn’t an option but they gave spicy anyways and it was horrible. No other flavour apart from pure spice to the point that you’re not enjoying the burger because it lacks depth.

This is terrible customer service, the delivery driver could be seen travelling away from the delivery destination which is less than a ten minute drive away, proceeded to go to great bar and remain there for over 5 minutes. When the driver arrived there were passengers in his vehicle and when asked about lateness he said the restaurant was late with the order, call them. When the food arrived it was all cold, the restaurant has a invalid contact number and could not be reached.

I'd highly recommend everyone near Aston to try the spicy chicken wings here along with their steak chicken burger and add ons of your choice!

Really bad taste of wings. tooo much spices. i actually wanted grill wings but wrongly selected the normal fried wings. but the smell was really really bad. i want money back but not sure how to. i ordered two packs each contain 5 wings had only 3 wings rest purlt in a waste. i dont recommended this takeaway at all.

I have tried their Chicken Rice and Fish Chips and it was very Flavorful and Finger-licking. The staff and sitting arrangement is also perfect .

Rio’s Peri Peri is really one of the best place to have a delicious meal. The ambience is very nice and my Favourite Dish is Fish Chip. The Taste of Fish Chips is very perfect for a Sea food lover.

My friend and I were looking for ages to find somewhere that was open to stay warm and get some water while waiting for our coach home. This place was so nice and let us sit with only ordering water. They said we could stay until closing but we left a little earlier. Just wanted to say thank you, it was very much appreciated and the service was great! Last night we ordered, Fried chicken platter and one chicken fillet burger, and successfully wasted £20. 😡 Chicken pieces was hard like rock 🪨 felt like re-fried several times... Chicken burger was nasty, bun was totally burned on one side... Will never go again there... Unprofessional staff and they don't know what they are doing...! Crap 😡

I went there for my phone-ordered collection, and they gave me the wrong order, which wasn’t mine. It costed me extra 30’ to come back and forth to get mine. However, i’m really happy with the way they corrected their mistakes. Due to foods being cold, I wasn’t sure if it would have tasted better. The service, on the other hand, was good to me.

Just visited this branch and had horrible experience! The guy on the till told us that they are not doing anything from the menu except burgers (that too classical one) and in the next 5 minutes he gave wings, chicken & rice and dealing with uber orders as we. So did he tell uber orders that they are out of everything except burgers? Ridiculous! Never coming here again!
