My favourite Spanish place in Richmond!!! Super good quality in food and wine, and the owner is a wonderful Spanish-English-Italian person. I love Chipirones en su tinta and Vino Rioja Reserva, and they have a spectacular option there. LOVE IT!!!!

We celebrated our 20th anniversary at Rincon on Saturday. We had 40 people for drinks and nibbles. It was superb. Felipe and his team go above and beyond to ensure, as hosts, you just have a great time. Nothing is too much trouble. We wanted to play our own music, have a wedding video playing and it was seamless. We have also been for drinks and tapas on several occasions and it is, by far, the best bar in Richmond.

Outstanding bar and tapas restaurant. Excellent food from a nicely balanced menu, lots of different dishes for every taste. Lively and busy but there’s always someone on hand to take an order and talk you through the food and drinks, usually Felipe or Gianni who make the place great fun along with all the other great staff. If you’re lucky there’ll be music on as well. Go on, treat yourself, you deserve a great night out.

Forget the river and it's overpriced underquality offerings, for years now Rincon has been consistently serving the most incredible tapas, gorgeous wine list, lovely staff and a secret rare whisky menu that has to be seen to be believed. Birthday celebration for 50 people. Felipe and his team were attentive all night. Tasty tapas, quality wines and some really nice beers (do try the Spanish IPA). Great place for a special occasion. We had a dj- good acoustics.

Strolled into the place as others were fully booked, and it blew my expectations out of the water. The octopus was very succulent, the lamb cutlets tender. The stuffed baby squid was cooked with squid ink and extremely fragrant. 10/10 would eat there again. The wine selection was not bad.

Best octopus l had, reminded me of holidays, very tasty and just damn good yummy. The cava was so good to wash and the way l say the octopus needs something to swim in....so CAVA was extra good to go with it. The place is family run and feels very cosy. Can't wait to go for one their Spanish nights.

WOW WOW WOW!! What a fabulous place, intimate and cosy whilst still giving you that authentic Spanish feel to it. All the dishes came out piping hot and perfectly portioned, nothing was ever too much trouble for our party of 9 (it was a surprise lunch and the whole team were fantastic in making sure the secret was kept right up until the last minute!). The Portuguese lady who served us went above and beyond to ensure we were well looked after and I would highly recommend to anybody reading reviews before trying the restaurant. 100% recommend it!

Nice atmosphere and food was very tasty albeit extremely over priced for miniscule portions. ( 1 Ciabatta roll with olive oil was £4.50 ) Tomatoe salad £6.50..( Half a fresh tomatoe diced very thinly, drizzled with olive oil !!!! ) Service charge £9.35....Ooosh.

Small places that has a big Spanish punch. I didn’t expect to find such a typical Tapas restaurant in the middle of Richmond. One of the owner is Spanish and it feels good to feel like you are back in Spain. The tapas are brillant and tasty. You will find classics from Barcelona such as the chistorra which is a must try for meat lovers. Also the churros in dessert it’s great to finish the meal. Will recommend also to go for the gin as they have gin from all over Spain which gives another twist to the night

Went here with a group of friends for early evening drinks and some tapas. We paid way too much for a few sharing platters that were not that nice. Also, no atmosphere in this place If you don't care about value for money, this is the place for you.

Undoubtedly the worst tapas I have ever eaten. Croquettes were frozen, octopus and boiled potatoes also tasteless and not fresh. Staff unwelcoming. Overpriced frozen food masking as fresh tapas. Do not bother.

We came here for our 1 year wedding anniversary and we were looked after so well by everyone at Rincon. Lovely relaxed atmosphere, nothing was too much trouble. Would recommend the Quails Egg and also a Sherry after your meal

Another cracking pre rugby lunch here. Proper family/ owner run tapas restaurant with interesting and thought out wine list. Highly recommend this friendly and intimate venue.

Friendly staff, great informal atmosphere, delicious food! The live music adds a lot to the evening. Personally, I would like to see some more fresh vegetables on the menu, as it's hard to find any "healthy" choices, as most things are deep fried, but as a rare treat it's absolutely lovely.

Food is ok but to expensive and delivers very little value. Three tapas are not great and are extra small in comparison to other restaurants

Very authentic food and great ambiance. Having previously lived in Spain, the food here was the most authentic I've had in a long time. Great service and friendly staff. Would definitely recommend to go and would go back. The drinks are quite pricy however but worth it for an occasion.

disaster! they said on the website about new year eve special party starting at 9pm! plus the bar was opened to go early of course and it was recommended! this was even confirmed again by us over the phone when we wanted to book! suddenly we are there and the whole bar is CLOSED!!!!!!!!! we had nowhere to go with a ruined plan and such sort time! terrible management!

Visited this bar, which serves good tapas food, for a private birthday party of around 60, so the venue was closed on a Saturday evening, except for us guests. Plenty of space cleared at the rear for a dance floor. Had a great time. Would definitely go back for a drink and to sample the food again.

This was the first time I had been in this tapas bar and it won't be the last. I thoroughly enjoyed a relaxing Sunday evening eating excellent tapas and drinking a good white wine. Authentic Spanish food made by real Spaniards and speaking with the owner he's clearly passionate about the food of his homeland, which comes across in the quality and the flavours. My partner and I shared a bottle of a white Verdejo and we had potato and onion tortilla, boquerones (anchovies in olive oil and vinegar), potato and ham croquetes, calamari (fried squid rings) and a wonderful battered artichoke heart dish. Price-wise, maybe a little bit pricey but then it is fashionable Richmond and close to the town centre. The place is spotlessly clean and COVID rules are in place with socially-distanced tables.

My wife and I were wandering around Richmond looking for somewhere to eat and came across this great wine bar. We were greeted by a very helpful and polite waiter who showed us to a cosy little table. The choice of tapas was good and we decided to choose five items. All of them were very tasty and full of flavour but the absolute highlight was the chorizo. Wow, especially washed down with a lovely bottle of Rose. Thank you to all of the staff for a great experience. If we lived closer we would be regulars!

Discovered this Spanish looking Bar while wondering around Richmond and I have had to walk in, charmed by the interiors and pretty seats by the window.. I was surprised (and then again I wasn't surprised) to find no Spanish Staff there, but I still had a coffee (almost 3£ for an Americano) and I sat by the window like I knew I would.I have been to hundreds of Bars in Spain and this is not it but still a good spot to watch the world go by. I had no food so I can't comment but I wouldn't eat in a Spanish restaurant with no Spanish Staff anyway

Great tapas restaurant with vegan and veggie options. A spwcial menu indicates if dairy, gluten, nuts etc ate in any of the dishes. Great service. Reasonable pricing. My first visit, and I will return.

Don't be fooled by the dated decor and understated demeanour of this place... The authenticity of the tapas served here is sensational. The service is particularly warm and I would definitely recommend trying the flight of sherries as an after dinner tasting!

Great personable service. Knowledgeable friendly and efficient. Great selection of sherry (yes I am a big fan). Cheaper than a flight to Bilbao and better quality too. My favourite Spanish restaurant in London. Just of the main drag in Richmond town centre it has a chilled vibe with a quality local touch. Love the food drink music and service. See you soon

We dined on a Friday night, busy and bustling. Prompt courteous service but I did feel that the food was overpriced for the portion size. Having eaten in many Tapas bars in UK and Spain I thought £8.50 for raciones was expensive considering you only got 4 small portions of chicken. Great atmosphere but probably would not eat in their again due to price/portion size

You could easily walk past this little gem which is off the main drag (Quadrant and Hill Street) and is hidden on Red Lion Street.We had a very pleasant Saturday afternoon lunch,my Portuguese girlfriend who is quite an expert on Iberian food and wine was very pleased with the Rioja 2011 and our tapas,the only observation being the patatas still had the skin attached and weren't cut in the traditional cube shape,they were still very tasty and we will definitely be coming here again to enjoy the Thursday night flamenco.

I found this to be one of those 'almost hidden gems'! Authentic tapas that really are truly scrumptious. The padron peppers were cooked to perfection and the cheese... oooh the cheese!!

Enjoyed a glass of wine here for a change. It is a nice place with a refreshingly different atmosphere and very nice staff. Wine was good.

I visited this place with my wife at around lunchtime and thought it was closed as nobody else was in there. We ordered a bottle of beer each ( Estralla dam ) a racion of croquettes and some chicken kebabs. When the food arrived I was astounded at the very small portions. I must admit the food was tasty. I asked for the bill and it came to £25. How can you justify paying £4.75 for a bottle of beer £8.50 for 2 of the smallest kebabs you’ve ever seen and £7.00 for 5 croquettes. As I say I was totally ripped off and never again. Be warned.

Albeit 4.3, was completely disappointed with this place ! ... Cocktails were not well served, Mojito Ice was not crushed, no taste ... all cocktails were served in a boring glass ... too costly for the portions, lamb chops were poor quality.... spent around 70 £ , still had to go to pizza place to complete the dinner and feel like you've had some food...

Over the past 3years I have used this tapas bar for numerous occasions, funeral receptions, birthday parties, special occasions. Philippe and his staff , in particular Mariuca, have been so helpful and charming. Even just dropping in for a drink and tapas with friends is such a pleasant experience. Food is great and the wine list expansive. Highly recommend this tapas bar for many reasons. There is live music on Sunday nights which is amazing, particularly Tim Whitehead and friends.

Decent tapas - good value paella

Great little restaurant with friendly staff. We dropped in mid-week for lunch, so it was very quiet, but we saw the live music ads so guess it must be quite lively in the evenings.We tried all the dishes on the tapas menu, all really tasty and very fresh. The prawns were my favourite so we ordered round 2 of that one. The portions were just a little smaller than other tapas restaurants we've been to - that is the only thing that took away from an otherwise excellent lunch.

A favourite of mine and my girlfriends! The food is great and you can pretend that you're in Spain for a few hours!

If you’re looking for real tapas this is the place. Excellent selection...great calamari- my favourite & yummy cod dish. All dishes yummy. Good wine list ... all in all a great place. Will be back on a night when the flamenco dancers are there !!

We really enjoyed our visit to Rincon. We both think that the tapas were of an outstanding quality. Yes, the portion size may not be overly generous, but I am a lot happier eating as small but very yummy portion of something rather than it being a large portion and mediocre. I also thought the wine list was excellent, really showcasing a great selection of very good Spanish wines. Service was very attentive and quick and the atmosphere was very relaxed and pleasant. We'll come back.
