RGM Seafoods & GoFish in High Peak

First time Friday 21st. Feb. What a great idea. Fish shop + Restaurant specialising in fish. The massive shark on the left as you enter will be loved by children and also some adults, who are still children at heart. We both had 2 starters - the soup was delicious. Home made bread Then I had Fish Cakes and my friend salmon salad. Both were delicious, Which is probably why all previous reviewers have given it 5 stars. And it gets a 5 from me

I have used the fresh fish counter several times and it excellent. Last night we went for dinner and ordered the paella. It was delicious and the best paella we've had in a long time. Great service too.

Went for a lovely Friday lunch. Welcoming staff, beautiful food. Shetland mussels in chorizo and cider then sea bream with a really nice glass of white wine. Parking by the door and a chance to take away some fresh fish

We had a superb meal.Great choice of menus including a Burns Night special.No problem swapping between menus.Dishes were well presented and hot.All the staff were attentive and pleasant.We would certainly recommend Go Fish, and excellent value for money !!

We had previously bought fresh fish from the counter at RG Morris which was superb, so we thought we would try the restaurant. Booking was really easy and on arrival the we were met with a waft of wave of tantalising smells Our table was waiting for us with a name tag . The decor has an industrial feel to it but was warm and welcoming. It is a simple menu but with some excellent options. My wife had the Maryland crabcakes off the specials board, and having toyed with risotto eventually settled for good old fashioned fish and chips. We did not have to wait long even though everytning was clearly freshly cooked. The batter on the fish was really light and set off the delicate flavour of the fish. The triple cooked chips had plenty of crunch and body to them. My wife's crabcake was served on a bun ( which did surprise her) but had a great flavour, and was served with a spicy siriacha sauce. Service was attentive and efficient but not overbearing. The prices were very good. This charming little restaurant is well worth a visit - or in our cse a second visit. Thanks for a great meal

Excellent fish and chips for lunch at Go Fish restaurant. It’s a lovely place with nice service and great fish counter too! Will deffo be back after seeing other fishy delights on the menu.

Absolutely the best meal I've had for ages. The smoked salmon I had for starter was very good - so much so I'm going to buy some from their fish counter. Halibut for mains beautifully cooked. My husband had the fishcake and salmon en route - also excellent. Looking forward to it becoming a regular for us.

Simply Superb. Fabulous fish and chips and manu other enticing meals. Lovely atmosphere, great staff and an excellent cooking area and pass that is a pleasure to watch highly skilled Ramsay trained chefs prepare your food. Waiting on staff very professional and interested in the diners. Will definitely be back time and time again. You simply must go.

First visit to try out the new restaurant and it did not disappoint. Had three courses and each one excellent in presentation and taste. Staff were friendly and attentive throughout. Have bought fresh fish from company for a few years now and quality always good and fresh. Definitely recommend both retail and restaurant if you want to sample fish at its best.

I had to cook for an event in Litton (Peak District) and I found RGM Seafoods & GoFish and I couldn't be happier, the quality of the fresh fish, the mince beef etc was outstanding. Nicola was very nice and and she helped me with the choices for the event. Also very fair price. If I come back to Peak District I will definitely order again from RGM...

This was the first time we have tried the online service (go fish) and the whole process was very easy from ordering via the website to receiving the order a couple of days later from their delivery service. We ordered fish, prawns and scallops and all were very fresh and superb quality. The food comes carefully packaged with ice packs inside plastic boxes. I would highly recommend them if you are not able to get to a fishmonger.

I buy my fish at the door on a monthly basis spending about £60 a time, The fish is always top quality and fresh the service is first class.

I’ve used RGM for years now and never had an issue in any of the kitchens I’ve worked in. A big thing for me is being able to talk to someone about the produce, seasons and what’s good right now. Alan, being an ex chef is perfect for this. The produce is fantastic, readily available and delivered in good time. A top fishmonger which I’ll use for many years to come

Super friendly family run business delivering good quality fish etc in their van all around the Peak District. No order is too small. Called me when near my house.

I’ve always been impressed with the high quality of fish supplied by this local business. I’ve known the family for many years and always enjoyed great service. The mobile fish van round is convenient and reliable and has a complimentary offer of meats, cheeses and pies.

In my opinion the food is brilliant. I've never eaten fish products before that are as good as the ones at RGM Seafoods & Go Fish, they know where to source high quality products from. If you are interested in buying fresh fish from anywhere in the High Peak or in some of the nearby counties where this company delivers, I would say it is the place to go because I think this is the best place to find fresh fish. I think the taste is perfect, the service has always been very convenient for myself too.

I have been a retail customer of RGM Seafoods for 10 years. I live rurally so they come to me - every other Tuesday regular as clockwork. The quality and choice of fish is exceptional. If I am looking for something for a new recipe or advice on what is in season the product knowledge of the RGM Seafoods staff is second to none. I don't hesitate in recommending RGM Seafoods/GOFish - go on give them a try!
