Calling this a coffee shop does not do it justice! I have just had an excellent spaghetti carbonara, and my wife an even better king prawn linguini, both freshly made from “real ingredients” a coke and a coffee for under 20 quid. The place is pleasant but basic, and spotlessly clean, the menu is simple (that’s a good thing), the food well executed, and the bill tiny. Open all day, and until 10.00 pm Friday and Saturday it well worth a visit. It’s fully licenced too!

Been here 3 or 4 times now with friends or family. Always lovely service very friendly and cheerful and to top it off the food is amazing will always be back, a real hidden gem in the heart of thurnscoe x

Went there recently with my sister for lunch. I’ve been many times on my own, don’t feel out of place. This place is immaculate, the toilets (you all know I look at toilets) are pristine and a lovely aroma of cleanliness, no separate disabled facilities though. We ordered our food, table service, I had steak salad medium rare, cooked to perfection with avocado and egg. Looked like a picture, my sister had king prawns with sautéed potato and salad. Again immaculate presentation. I was too full for dessert but my piggy sister went for cheesecake. To tell you the truth didn’t know whether to frame it or eat it. Cheesecake, drizzled with fresh passion fruit and blueberry, with strawberry sauce , flake and served with raspberry ripple ice Cream! It was delicious, coffee was fresh and hot served with little biscuit, wine not bad either!! Service was excellent but be prepared to wait as freshness and artistry takes time. Overall couldn’t fault, all this in THURNSCOE , a hidden gem

Outstanding and a breath of fresh air for the community. After being away for the last ten years I am just passing through and decided to get a coffee and a burger. Homemade burger, great coffee and some of the best service you’ll experience locally. Well done guys, keep it up.

Orderd 4 sarnys from the cafe... & all 4 were were revolting! The eggs had jelly on top!, sausage were Cumberland ( and not stated) & bacon was still running round it was that raw! 🐖💨To top it all off it had zero taste... EVEN the tomato sauce was tastleas and watery! Extreamly poor!...
