This place was recommended by my daughter who said the food was amazing… she wasn’t wrong. Absolutely delicious, will be going again!

Do not waste your time having food from here. Jerk chicken was not jerk don’t even think it saw a grill.. the sauce was a mixture of ketchup and bbq sauce. The rice and peas were bland. Plantain wasnt cooked properly. I could go on.

Went for the first time and was absolutely blessed by these people. The food was great, friendly and generous people. 100% recommend.

Reggae Spot is my absolute favourite place to go to for authentic soul food. Angeleen is such a warm and friendly person who is so accommodating and generous. The prices are exceptional and great for those on a budget. I love every bite of every order I get here, the plantain is my absolute favourite, but the rice and plantain with jerk sauce is also a massive contender. My partner's favourite is the jerk chicken and we alway love getting a homemade cake for dessert. The dumplings are fantastic and are an added bonus to the meal. I couldn't sing Angeleen praises high enough and you can tell she's pillar to her community.

The food was tasty but very dry no sauce, mostly bone , I’ve had goat curry a number of times, this was very disappointing wouldn’t order again.

Very unwelcoming greeting to begin with. I sensed a rude attitude from her. I then asked to pay with my card and she told me that I must bring cash next time. I ignored her, so she repeated it. I remained silent and thought there won't be a next time. Soup was OK tho..apart from about 6 huge peppercorns floating around...I would avoid it!!!

Very very nice. I had Akee & salt fish, 2 nice fluffy dumplins and steamed vegetables and wow it was on point,I'm so glad I have found one,if not the best food places in Manchester. It was Fresh perfectly seasoned and cooked. Nice generous portions. food handled with care and respect the same way you would handle your own food, 'you don't get that anywhere, it's like a blessing on your food'.Absolute10/10 Manchester get down or up there, it's worth the journey.be patient she treats the food with respect so she is not fast😁 but well worth the wait origional Caribbean food🇯🇲🇯🇲🇯🇲

Tasty food but sh1t loads of bones in it

Had the goat curry, rice and peas and a piece of fried chicken, all great, loved it!

It was my 1st attempt at authentic Jamaican food and I bought some Goat curry with rice & Peas that meal slapped hard🔥🔥🔥🔥, As it was my first attempt at Goat curry I was amazed. Reggae Spot is spot on👌🏽.

First time ordering from here and it did not disappoint! We ordered the curried goat with rice and peas, the brown stew chicken with plain rice, some plantain and a dumpling. The meat was super tender, everything was really flavourful and the plantain and dumpling were amazing. Will absolutely order from here again!

Incredible food, have to get there early to get the jerk chicken as it runs out quick because it's SO GOOD. But just know, no matter what you get, the food is going to be delicious. Massive portions and fairly priced, worth every penny. Patties also are amazing 🤩 ran out this time, I'll definitely be making a trip back to get some next week. Can't recommend enough!

This has got to be the best Caribbean food around. I've been to alot over my years but the food here is amazing!! The dumpling, peppered steak and oxtail, fried chicken yummmmmm.

Absolutely the worst jerk chicken I've ever had in my life. There was nothing jerk related about it. What a waste of £10. I've honestly had better jerk chicken microwave meals from Aldi. No joke!!!

Absolute gem of a takeaway in Stockport. Freshly cooked Jamaican food huge portions and reasonably priced. My only complaint would be service can be a little slow when busy but it is definitely worth the wait. I would recommend the curry goat, rice and peas and steamed veg absolutely superb!!

If your looking for the best finger licking Caribbean food in town look no further. The name has changed to Reggae Spot but it's the same chef and owner. The food is cooked with love and you can taste it in every bite. This is the most consistent food establishment I have eaten at to the point where one look at the food and I know where it came from. You will be spoilt for choice as you can get: jerk chicken, brown stew chicken, curry goat, pepper steak, oxtail, fired chicken, patties and the dumplings are the bestest. I recommend you try every and everything on the menu because the food will not disappoint (your taste buds will thank you). Side note: there is also cake with my personal favorite being the rum cake which is to die for 😍 Sorry I don't have any pictures because eating the food was my priority lol but on that note, 11 out of 10 I highly recommend 🤌🏽.

Brilliant Caribbean takeaway! I phoned up earlier this afternoon and ordered our food for delivery at 6pm - it arrived at 6 o'clock on the nose. The curried goat and pepper steak with rice and peas were lovely and we particularly enjoyed the dumplings. We'll definitely be ordering again.

Glad I gave this place a try, got some goat curry and it cheered me right up on a grim cold lockdown day. Food was like a home cooked meal warming and tasty. Staff are friendly.

small portion for a "medium" size. Foods nice tho. But I dont think its worth the price. Wouldnt go out my way to come here again. Only if I'm passing tru if that. Women serving had quite hairy arms too which is abit of an off put.

Joke of a restaurant/takeaway. Half the order missing, the other half wrong. It arrived late and stone cold and the woman on the phone was incredibly rude on the phone and just hung up the phone. AVOID.
