Red Cap in West Dunbartonshire

Ordered food that was delivered to the wrong door, finally got my refund after 2 weeks but they took £3 off it for a delivery that wasn’t delivered?? The whole family started arguing and screaming in Chinese when I asked for it. Won’t be back from being a regular. Heard of this happening to others as well

Ordered for the first time, a couple of months ago, extremely large order after a funeral, order was wrong, instead of admitting the mistake, tried to use guilt trip, that money will come out of wages to correct the order, if you’re vegetarian, your not really going to eat non vegetarian food, reluctantly the food was replaced, whilst waiting other food had gone cold, for the amount of money paid, it wasn’t worth it, definitely wouldn’t be using again.

First 2 times we ordered was fantastic 3 time food was not cooked right and chips were old called the shop told they give us a full refund then called back when I was on my way out to tell me it was going to half money then in shop the old mad was shouting and waving threatening me the old woman was screaming in an other language as there son stood and laughed. Complete joke of a business.

Ordered a delivery and everything that came was stale or reheated I phoned back to complain and was told I would get a part refund and a month down the road nothing

so basically while i was in the red cap i was obtaining my munchie box and there were bogies in my food!!!!!! stupid right? but no really boogers in my food freak sake

ABSOLUTELY DESPICABLE. I walked into this Chinese restaurant looking for some proper chinese food and I was appalled at the service from a young chinese boy. The boy was named something like hon or something. I have attached a rough sketch I made of what the boy looked like. When the boy came in with my order he must of smelt the prawns I ordered because he jumped up onto the counter and started to rip my food open with his teeth. He flung my food all over the restuarant and I was made to pay it!! Honestly if it weren't for the boys playing maracas at the back of the place I would of walked straight out of there!!

Really good food in here, I always request freshly cooked fried rice as I hate the stuff that's been lying in the plastic tub, you know the scene, you turn upside down and the rice comes out in a perfect tub shaped block as its been in there for an hour or two, yukk. Anyhow Lemon Chicken is excellent.

Will not be using this place again special fried rice, nothing special about the muck that got delivered more like a greasy rice cake all stuck together. 3 fork fulls and went in the bin disgusting

Went to this place not expecting much but OH MAN was I WRONG this place is amazing the salt and pepper chips are a force to be Reckoned with in the Chinese business I don’t know what the green goo was but it was tasty the salt and pepper chicken was fandabydosy and the salty mayo was great 10/10 100% recommend also the 14 year old can’t stay still only bad thing about the place

Great food , always delieved to alexandria in good time , order is always right and portions sizes and brilliant.....But the lady thats on the phones is so lovely and so helpful i love it when she answers the phone always cheery , so thank you for your service ❤️❤️

Ordered a meal to be collected Saturday evening at 6pm firstly the lady who took the order was excellent arrived at 6pm and the food was just being packed for collection, the food was piping hot and delicious and excellent value for money, would highly recommend *****

Great portions of good food. Usually quick service and you can see the chef's cook your food while you wait. Now takes car payments and is open on Tuesdays, upgraded to 5 stars!

Good food with huge portions. Easy parking so makes it really easy collect.

I bought a munchie box and other items . The food was rather salty and after a short while it made our lips tingle . The chips and pork ribs were the saltiest plus the ribs were almost devoid of any meat at all! We also had noodles and beansprouts which tasted burnt . I am unlikely to buy food from this takeaway again .

Food is good, sometimes it can be poor. They're pretty fast which is good. The staff don't wear masks within the shop so although people in takeaways like the Red Cap seem to think taking steps to distance themselves from customers like putting screens up on the counter etc are enough they should still wear masks within the shop because they're not all the same household. Which is keeping themselves and their customers safe

Food is delicious, very quick service and the staff are very polite. What more can you ask for!

I received salt and pepper chips and chicken tonight the chips were not cooked properly and the chicken had green gunge in the middle so I called back to the restaurant to be told I am not getting a refund or replacement as I already paid it's my issue now not theres

Best sweet n sour and crispy beef

Food was good here and they open late at night. Just be aware they do not accept anything but cash and not too many cashpoints available in this area.

No card payments (notice on door) drivers abandoned cars out front including there own delivery staff close to busy junction. Food wasn't great. Used to be better.

Quantity over quality I'm afraid meal was edible but good have tasted better a chicken chowmein was noodles with boiled chicken over the top don't think it hit the wok🖓🖓

Second time in this shop when passing thru as I'm not a local.... ordered a happy meal thing...... Starter that id never heard of *dragon balls*.... let's just say f*****g delicious! very very very nice with the chilli dip Main course special curry xtra spicy 1.....fab again, excellent big size portion too. Look at my other reviews... id say that redcap is best chinese I've tasted throughout scotland. Well done guys keep up the good work
