Nice coffee. Fantastic selection of cakes and scones. Lovely attentive staff.

I would give zero if I could. Used to go here regularly and food was good and staff pleasant. Today was first time visiting under new ownership. Three of us visited today. Service was terrible. So slow. Food was cold. But the worst was the attitude of the staff especially the manager. She was rude, aggressive, made snide comments because I asked about length of time we were waiting and shouted at me and my table when I challenged her on the comments she'd made.. She even said I told a member of her staff to shut up which was a lie. No point in complaining though so instead will never return and be sure to spread the word to let people know what the place is like.

Please sack the cook and get a chef..food awful

Went with a pal for sandwiches and a coffee, we shared 2 different sandwiches and they were both great

15 mins to get a coffee! Shockingly poor service. Disorganised chaos!!

Found restaurant using Google. First visit to have a pleasant meal with my mum. Stood at the arrival podium to wait to be directed to a seat. Was instructed by a waitress 'sit anywhere you like'..who then disappeared. We weren't told that you had to go up to the counter to order (IE a waitress doesn't take your order). We had arrived at lunchtime, my mum fancied a kids breakfast. When I went to order this I was told I couldn't because it was after 11.30. There is nothing on the menu about times. I was told that we could order main course big breakfast (which contains exactly similar items to Kids breakfast), that would have been far too much for my mum. In the end mum chose kids chicken nuggets which she didn't enjoy. Key issues with our experience was lack of quality service (maybe lack of proper training?) and clear information on the menus. Unfortunately we will not be visiting again.

We had a private funeral for my dad and were looking for somewhere to go for breakfast. There were 20 of us and they couldn't be more accommodating. You usually have to go order at bar but they served us at table. The staff couldn't have been any nicer. What was a really sad morning was made so much easier with the service we got. The cakes my mum got was a lovely touch at the end. Thanks coffee club

Disgusting......food was awful service was bad I would not recommend

Popped into the the Coffee Club for a quick lunch, having been here on several occasions in the past. We ordered our food at the counter and received our drinks promptly. Having ordered three meals, two of them arrived and I was still waiting for my All Day Breakfast ten minutes later When it arrived the bacon and sausage were well overcooked, even though I like my bacon crispy this was overkill. The square slice was the same. Such a pitty as our other meals were done perfectly. Now I know why you pay for your meals before they are served !!!

First class food at very reasonable prices

I have been a regular customer here for years but I went for lunch with friends recently and was disappointed. There place was freezing cold inside. I asked the manager if the heating could be turned on or up, I was told yes but the place remained cold. We were ignored going out the door as if he was unhappy I asked. We were told there was a 40 mins wait for food. We didn’t wait as long as 40 mins which was good . I did enjoy my lunch but the cold environment and aloof attitude of staff ruined the experience. I doubt I will return.

Quality food and staff are lovely

A bit hit and miss. They make you pay for food before your finished. I still wanted to order coffee after my food but they insisted I pay for my food separately.

Before using the driving range you get great scones and a coffee

I've heard people go on about this place so I was keen to go however I left feeling sick. I got the steak wrap. It had chewy beef and all I could taste was the grease. The nacho cheese sauce was tasteless so I couldn't finish it. We also got peri peri chicken which was more like Cajun powder that was gritty and salty.

50 minute wait for lunch . 1 member of staffs attitude was not at all professional

We had a Fantastic high tea. Great quality and value for money. Great efficient service from a great Italian gent. Main menu looked great from what we seen.

Only had a coffee while waiting for a battery to be charged on a golf trolley but it was good coffee and a nice place.

The afternoon tea was fabulous, there was a great selection of sandwiches, cakes and scones. The staff were great and offered us a take away box for the left over cakes.

Great staff and food was fantastic especially the soup and my wife loved the cakes .

Food just OK, had to send back scones as they just broke into pieces when trying to butter them. They gave us fresh ones which were nice. Tea was also cold. The rest of the food was fine

I used to be a pretty regular customer but since new management has taken over, it has become much harder to enjoy a visit. The food remains pretty good, but that’s the only positive. Service is now extremely poor - there’s no table service as you order and pay in advance at the counter, canteen-style, but the real issue is the time it takes for food to reach you. Today we arrived (table of 4) at approx 1:20 and were warned of a 45 minute wait for food. After an hour, we had to chase the staff for an update. 3 of our meals were served and then we were told the 4th was no longer available. After an hour of waiting, I think this is totally unacceptable. Overall, I don’t understand what is going wrong - is the menu now too big and too varied for the kitchen to cope? Is there no system or process in place to get through the orders? Does no prep get done before service? Have too many extra tables been squeezed in? By the time we were all eating, new customers were being warned of an hour wait for food, but it was no longer peak lunchtime - so why on earth was the kitchen not catching up with the remaining orders? The table next to us was served as we left, and they were sending back one dish, and having to go to looking for cutlery and missing side dishes. I hate to say it, as this used to be a favourite place to meet friends and family for a quick lunch, but I doubt I’ll go back. Forget fancy domes, redecorating and jazzing up the menu, and focus on getting the basics of service right.

Not comfortable flies hovering about so annoying also food definitely not got the fresh taste and tea not served individually didn’t bring milk until we asked we went every 4th week but not be back

Really disappointed with the service I received in here this week. One particular member of staff on the counter was very rude and short with me when I was ordering. Her tone and attitude was extremely unprofessional. Then after ordering my friend got her food and had been eating for a while and was nearly finished, but there was still no sign of my food. I went up to the counter and the same member of staff was rude again, no apology for the wait she just asked “what table”. I understand it was very busy, but why wouldn’t you try to bring a tables food out at the same time? I didn’t come to eat alone. I have heard the place has been taken over and it seems to have really gone downhill since. Good customer service goes a long way, and in the past I have always had great service and food in here, but this experience has left me really disappointed. I appreciate it isn’t a Michelin star restaurant, but it’s probably one of the most expensive lunches in the area and I would rather take my business elsewhere where you’re treated with a bit of respect.

This restaurant is fantastic. Service is really good along with the food. Been quite a few times and will be back again. Good to go somewhere that is local and not far out.

Poor service, diet coke was warm. Served in warm glass, Philly steak wrap lacked chesse and the steak was chewy.

Probably the worst take away cappuccino I've ever had and they charged me £3.15. Maybe I just got unlucky this time but that was no barista that made that coffee, bit embarrassing tbh

Just a coffee and a scone, however the scones are first class and reasonably priced. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The food on the menu is varied and again reasonably priced.

Popped in with friends for lunch. Disappointed that soup was 'finished'. Really? At lunchtime! Not impressed. Friends did enjoy their meals, but as I wasn't that hungry & only wanted soup - poor customer service provision 😱

I have heard so many people talk about this place and we had never tried it and it is right on our doorstep too. A rare day off together without the kids and we thought let's go somewhere nice for some brunch. The sun was shining so we were able to sit outside on the deck. Food was delicious. Only waited about 5ish mins for it so very quick service. Will definitely be back.

Great food and good value for money also dog friendly. Sat in the Marquee as inside was full.

No decaf coffee, took some cake home and made our own, wouldn't go back.

Very nice staff and food is usually excellent. You can sit both inside and outside which is good. It is very clean on the inside. They have a good selection on the menus but there could always be more selection. Portions are a very good size and you know you will get what you pay for. I’d definitely recommend!

We came here on a Sunday afternoon for a quick lunch and to be honest we weren't expecting much. How wrong we were. This place was a gem. Each member of staff that either served or welcomed us was very polite, friendly and attentive. The place was busy and yet our food came very quickly and was absolutely delicious and very fresh. We will definetly return.

It was our first visit to this place today and I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of food. The service was also excellent. It's busy but nice, tables are well spaced. Worth visiting.

Great Food, meals were lovely on Sat 25th Sep, especially the macaroni cheese. Staff are great, particularly the young staff, which there were a lot of, very well mannered and polite, even if there was something wrong, it was sorted quickly and efficiently. Hats off to them for providing a great service in what seemed like a very busy, stressful work environment.

Been a regular customer for at least 5 yrs went on sat the 2nd Oct service operative was very rude and short when I asked for a table for 5 .Had to return glass as they were dirty and all greasy and finger marked only to have the same ones returned to us .food wasn’t the best either waiting for half our order for nearly 15 mins totally not impressed anymore and don’t think I was the only one

Been coming here for years and always enjoyed the food and drinks I got. Had to return a pasta dish as it was tasteless and a kids chicken nugget meal as the nuggets were burnt. Staff provided a refund for the pasta dish.

Great food and friendly helpful staff, the Sunday breakfast menu is my favorite. Excellent choice for lunch and dinner and at a very reasonable price.

2nd visit as the 1st time we were there was excellent, big change this time, the macaroni had a hair in it my grandsons toasties also had a hair in it think it would be a better idea if they invested in hairnets for the staff.

Had mixed reviews on this place , went along to try out waited a good 10 minutes before served and food was shocking as if it was straight out the micro , the man himself im sure is the owner shocking and speaks to people with snideness and a seems to order the young girls about , the place itself is dirty and horrible , they treat staff like dirt , dishes were dirty cups and cutlery ! Will never be back and will make sure you loose customers ! Health and safety should shut this place down

Very disappointing experience today. Popped over around 5:00 pm with my wife for coffee and snacks: young lady welcomed us, presented us with track and trace document to complete and provide menus... a good 12 minutes later ... no further contact- in spite of my efforts to attract attention. Cafe not at all busy with 4 young waitresses busy chatting to one another. and two more staff behind the counter..I counted only 4 other covers who were all served. Extremely disappointed , we finally gave in and decided to leave. No approach from any of the young ladies on leaving, however my wife politely conveyed her disappointment and was offered an apology. Very disappointing as I /we have visited often and always found the quality of food-and service-to be excellent. Such a disappointment that I feel I have to pass on our experience to the man in charge.

Old Favorite of mine mostly visit at the weekend food also good with great service. Also has outdoor space for eating out.

First time visiting here this week & it was great. V friendly & welcoming staff. You can scan a QR code on arrival to download their menu. Good range on menu & great prices. Service was quick & efficient. I had the chicken fajita wrap w half soup & it was delicious. Coffee was lovely too. All staff had masks on & cleaning of public areas was visible. I will definitely be back. Thanks.

Excellent breakfast for my granddaughter's birthday.

Took the kids for a bite to eat after the crazy golf. Kids were told that they would get ice creams as part of the kids menu main by the waitress. Asked for the ice creams and told that it was a new member of staff and that was not part of the deal by the owner. He chastised the member of staff and coldly told me that no deserts would be supplied even though I challenged this and the fact I had spent 37 pounds of my heard earned money. Kids were bitterly disappointed. Cold hearted owner. Over priced and customer service was poor. Wouldn't recommend.

Had a lovely lunch today, as always. The staff are all fantastic and we felt very safe in this difficult time.

Was there today and yes they are great with abiding by the rules which is great, but after giving my details and seated I waited just over 30mins before my order was taken and that was only because I asked a member of staff how long did we have to wait before our order was taken, to which they replied that they had forgotten about us absolutely shocking - yes I know they were busy but no excuses to forget you were there and to serve customers coming in 10 and 15 minutes after you - I was very disappointed in the service - I was sitting at table 39 🤬

A great covid safe eatery with outdoor seating area, great staff felt very welcome, highly recommended.

Been a few times in the last few weeks after being in lockdown for 5 months, it's the only place I feel safe to go at the moment. Jack & has team are doing a wonderful job and staying very friendly and efficient during these difficult times. Ordered a lovely take away afternoon tea yesterday to take to my friends mum as it was her 93rd birthday she loved it. Was absolutely delicious well packaged and very good value for money. Thanks 👍👍

Jack and his tip top team have done an amazing job during the phased release of lockdown! They go out of their way to deliver friendly efficient service at all times. The scones are the best scones ever 😃. The Coffee Club team are ready to welcome us next week for phase 3 when we can sit indoors. Well done!

Amazing food, service and atmosphere!

Service is slow and when my order eventually arrived my chicken was dry and on top of all that my nana' who has dimentia order was later than everyone else's which just made her more confused and stressed
