Rassam's in Sheffield

Oh dear. We waited an hour from ordering for our food. When it came, the slice of cheesecake was still frozen in the middle, the waffle was stone cold, the crepe was thick and rubbery (a french person would have been horrified!) and the toffee sundae was just some plain ice cream with some toffee sauce poured over it and a few rolos stuck on. Plus you pay £2 for a small scoop of plain ice cream to go with your waffle, most places include this. Avoid like the plague!

Really bad staff, did not give student discount even though was given this on last visit. Tried to apologise saying it was a mistake but did not even bother looking after their customers. Will not be returning again, any1 that reads this there are much better desert places in Sheffield. Better staff, empathetic and value customer service.

Ice cream is not gelato it didn’t even taste as good as a magnum. Save your money and get one from the supermarket across the road. Service is awful. Music inside the shop is horrendous. Not worth a visit.

Told to wait for 10-15 minutes to be seated on arrival even though there were plenty of free tables. Also told it would be another 20 minutes before we could eat. Impression created is not customer-friendly or welcoming and doesn't make things easy for families. Pretentious place. By contrast, staff at Beeston Social which is just next door and where we went afterwards said we could sit anywhere we liked and served our food with no fuss.

It was our first time at rassams . Unfortunately it was not how we planned it to be. The desserts were nothing like the pictures we saw.It took them 35 mins for them to bring our food not only the decorations were nothing like the pictures we saw but they gave us our food separately for example we ordered some juice and it arrived 20 mins after our ice cream!Can you believe it !It was a long wait . But the staff was very kind and patient. We had a lovely time there!

awful service. food was nice but wouldnt go back. saw a lot of not happy people in the waiting area. food nice - service absolutely awful. young girl in there needs training- beeston branch. the gentleman that served us too was dismissive. awful.

A dismal experience. We had hoped to take the children out for some dessert expecting a nice trip out. When we arrived we were made to wait for a table for over 15 minutes despite being able to count over 9 empty tables. There were 3 other groups of people waiting and whilst we stood waiting we saw 5 seperate groups of people turn away The greeting we finally received was not particularly pleasant and we were ushered to a table that had been sat empty the entire time we stood waiting. We had been sat less than 5 minutes before they came and asked if we were finished deciding what we wanted yet this seems to be the only haste the staff used because they moved around the restaurant at a snails pace. We ended up paying around 23 pound for 4 puddings, I didn't get a pudding i had picked brownie sundae and they didn't have any brownies. They eventually brought the puddings after another 20 or so minute wait but the coffee I ordered on sitting down didn't arrive till we were about to leave another 20 minutes later and was incorrect. They refunded the coffee when I pointed out we were leaving.

The man working the shift on the Monday that we went was very good and gave excellent service. He was on his own but this did not affect the experience. The food was amazing and very good value for money for sure will be going back again.

Ordered churros and they were cold, dry and horrible. When I complained the staff member said I'd have to pay again if I wanted the churros to be warm. Terrible customer service never coming here again.

Really vile. Everything has a truckload of sugar in it. I went in with teeth and came out with none.

Visited here on Saturday with my family, and I couldn’t believe the chaos in this place. The staff were like headless chickens, getting orders wrong, forgetting what you’d ask for, charging for items that were complimentary due to it been our daughters birthday, and the place was filthy and needs a good clean. spent over 2 hours in this place, and 1 hour thirty mins of this time was spent waiting for the staff. Not good. Stay away!!….

Omg first time ordering from here and all I can say is wow I will definitely be coming back here again the chocolate waffles are to die for they are absolutely awesome well done Ransomes you’ve just gained a loyal customer for life thank you so much your staff were very helpful and very friendlyOnce again thank you so much

My housemates and I order Rassams every other week because it is so tasty definitely best dessert place in Sheffield we will be visiting in person to see Mr Rassam very soon. Ali who delivers our food is very fast and friendly I hope we will see him hard, at work in the restaurant too when we visit !! :) I always have the same cookie dough because I love it so much my friends have the waffles, cakes and milkshakes which they love too!!!!!!

Been up all night. 100% not recommended. If I could give zero out of five I would. I feel horrendous and had to take the day off of work.

We ordered 4 desserts on uber eats and stressed a nut allergy. We were sent 3 correct desserts however the fourth was the wrong dessert and was Nutella!! Unfortunately the missing dessert was for the person with the nut allergy!! This extremely concerning. We called them to speak about this and they told us to come get it now however this is extremely inconvenient since we live so far away and said this wasn't possible. They just told us to call ubereats who didn't answer however this is not uber eats fault!!! My friend has a severe allergy that is air borne which is serious... and nothing done to help us.

Made an order for collection from the Rassams on London Road as I was really craving a Rassams crazy shake (I can’t have milkshakes anywhere else now ever since I got it the first time haha). The lovely girl that took my order was really sweet - I think she said her name was Deema. She helped me choose what to get for my sisters as I wanted to surprise them with a nice filling dessert. She recommended me the Kinder Bueno Pancake Stack and the Oreolicious Crepe and I can tell you now they loved it, so big big thanks to her!!! Highly recommend this place to anyone wanting to spoil themselves with a delightful dessert , doesn’t disappoint and the customer service is spot on. Thanks! :))

I ordered for the first time from Rassam’s recently and I have to say the food was delightful. My kids and I really loved their waffles and milkshakes. The delivery driver Zak was lovely too, he was very polite and came right on time. I will definitely be ordering from Rassam’s again in the future.

I ordered a delivery as a surprise for my mum on Mother’s Day. The lady on the phone was very polite and respectful and was willing to write a personalised Mother’s Day message on the box. The delivery was quick, I only waited 30 mins from the moment of ordering. Food was warm, fresh and delicious. Would definitely recommend to give this place a try. 5/5

I ordered from Rassam’s for me and my family. The food was very delicious. The staff on phone were respectful. The driver Zak was very kind and polite, he was also on time. I recommend this place.

Really bad customer service in a takeaway part , I asked for brownie with ice cream and whipped cream and they gave brown ice cream instead.

Ordered tonight from rassams creamery and I must say a lovely customer service as well as the delicious dessert. They driver was very polite and delivered on time.

Ordered a delivery over the phone from the darnall branch. The young chap on the phone was so nice and polite. He was willing to add some extras to my order to make it personalised for me. I think his name was Faisel, lovely chap. I received my order only 30 mins after ordering which is exceptional as I live 15 mins from the shop and this was at a peak time of 8pm aswell. I ordered a Nutella spread crepe, red velvet cookie dough for my partner and milkshakes for my kids. I have eaten from many dessert places but none of them compare to Rassams, there isn’t a better milkshake that I’ve had in my life than the rassams crazy shake. Honestly, I have ordered from Rassams many times, both from delivery and eating in with my family at the main store before the uk lockdown. There isn’t a better place to bring your kids, all the staff are all lovely and the environment is perfect for families or a get together with friends. From my many years as a customer here, I find some of the reviews left on here mind-boggling and hard to believe. This place is honestly, in my opinion, one of the main attractions of Sheffield and I can only ask for you to try it once and they won’t let you down just as they’ve never let my family and I down. 10/10 Well done Rassams!

Ordered from here twice. The first time we ordered we waited a very long time...about two hours. We called and was advised they were incredibly busy. They were polite and extremely apologetic. When the food arrived it was worth the wait! It was delicious.We ordered again tonight, delivery was within an hour, the driver was super friendly and again the deserts were unbelievably good. We had a shake, a tower sundae, cookie dough and a peanut butter stack. All were fresh and delicious. We will definitely order again!

Awful place..... The 30% off offer is a disgrace, these guys are complete con-artists. Your app has inflated prices, and much higher than on Uber Eats & Just Eat etc. when the items are cheaper 3rd party apps like Uber eats and just eat. How is that a discount? disgraceful conduct

I like Rassam's as much as the next Sheffielder, but it is extremely hit and miss. I have ordered the cookie dough cheesecake (which is very nice) several times in the past year, however each time it arrives looking different! Sometimes it arrives on its own, with a bit of chocolate drizzled on, other times it has the full works- strawberries, melted chocolate, whippy icecream, all for the same price as the cheesecake without toppings.Waiting staff are a bit rude too- last time I ate in the restaurant, I had my spoon in my mouth and food on my plate and the waiter asked how we would like to pay and brought the card machine over while I was still eating.But if you're prepared for that then I'd reccommend Rassam's :)

I have never had such awful desserts! Staff are rude..gave us old crappy waffles and telling us they made them fresh, old rubbery chewy nasty waffles. Very pricey! Paid 20pounds for 3 deserts they were disgusting! Dont even bother going here!

Terrible & disgusting. No hygiene staff out of order. Wont be surprised if they have rats in there. Dirty & mucky prep area. Absolute waste of time & money. Nonce!

A mi novio y a mí nos dijeron que nos sentáramos en la sala de espera junto a otro cliente, después de decir que preferiríamos estar de pie, nos hicieron sentir incómodos y tuvimos que retroceder en la cola afuera. Después de que finalmente nos llevaron a una mesa, nos sentamos allí durante más de 20 minutos sin servicio, al final salimos y compramos un helado de Tesco, ¡no recomendaría este caos de restaurante! ! ! !

El personal es tan poco profesional y grosero y lo ignorará varias veces como lo hicieron con nosotros cuando pedimos un pedido y cuando finalmente ordenamos, la comida llegó y estaba fría y parecía que no se hizo ningún trabajo en absoluto, yo ' También he tenido muchos problemas al ordenar en uber eats, ¡evítelo!

Decidimos ordenar desde aquí un domingo por la noche usando su sitio web. Después de una hora y media nuestra comida no había llegado. Nadie contestaba los teléfonos y la tienda estaba a punto de cerrar. Mi socio terminó conduciendo hasta la tienda para perseguir nuestro pedido, lo que va en contra de un servicio de entrega. Nunca más ordenaré desde aquí. Un caos de negocio.

Entramos en el restaurante y nos atendieron de inmediato. El servicio al cliente de Attia fue increíble, estuvo muy atento a nuestra mesa. Todos nuestros postres y bebidas eran fantásticos e incluso nos dieron una botella de agua gratuita cada uno después de comer, lo cual fue muy agradable después de todo el chocolate. ¿También tiene una excelente relación calidad-precio?

It is what it is and you hope that you can’t go far wrong with ice cream! A couple of sundaes went down a treat!

Honestamente, normalmente no escribo muchas críticas sobre lugares, pero este lugar es fantástico desde los postres hasta la decoración y el servicio. el personal es muy educado. Hay mucha gente aquí que escribe críticas injustas, ya que he leído muchas de ellas y puedo decirles que la mayoría son mentiras por la experiencia que tuve.

Ordered strawberry and Nutella waffle, no Nutella it was a cheap nasty imitation chocolate sauce with no hazelnut whatsoever. The “Ferrero Roche’s” cheesecake had the same disgusting chocolate sauce with hazelnut pieces sprinkled on a rubbery cheesecake! ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE!

Pedimos una masa de galletas Oreo y crumble de manzana. La masa de galleta se veía (y sabía) que alguien había mezclado azúcar y un huevo juntos, lo dejó caer en un recipiente y roció Oreos encima. Entiendo que se supone que la masa de galletas solo se cocina parcialmente, pero sabía a huevo crudo mezclado con grandes cantidades de azúcar. Ridículamente caro, no lo recomendaría.

Nice desserts. Big fun seating area. The kids loved it. Some desserts look a little artificial and others excellent.

Terrible customer service for delivery.i had my first delivery last sunday and had a missing item.i have now emailed three times and had no reply!!!.what happened to caring for your customers.

I have been your regularly customer since the beginning when your first opened. But today I was very disappointed the way a member of your staff treated me, my wife and my children. On arrival we were seated and my very young 2 year old child decided to touch the lighting. Albeit it’s my responsibility to ensure nothing is damaged but a member of staff named Oasmah quickly came over. Was extremely rude and took the time to tell us that the lighting is very expensive and fragile. To which we told the child off but he continued to repeat himself and stated the same thing over and over several times.Then he had the audacity to come over again a short moment later to tell us off when child was watching tv on phone by this time. I can appreciate lighting is expensive, fragile and safety concern but there was no need to treat us like children and give lecture. Disappointed. Won’t be coming back again.

I visited Rassam’s on New Year’s Eve with my family. The staff took over 45 minutes to seat us - whilst seating us, the staff never mentioned that there’d be a longer than usual wait for orders. We waited for 55 minutes before a waiter took our order (we did call a waiter over twice in the meantime but he told us he’d send the next available person ASAP)...when the waiter eventually took our order, he confirmed it would take 45 minutes to 1 hour to make two cookie dough desserts??!? As we had already waited so long, we thought we may as well order and wait it out. The two cookie doughs took over an hour to make. Whilst I appreciate Rassam’s was busy (especially with it being NYE) I have visited Rassam’s numerous times and when it becomes slightly busy - the service become delayed. It’s unacceptable and customers should be told prior to them being seated about exceptionally long waits, so they can decide whether they are happy to wait so long. Moreover, one of my family members’ desserts was incorrect and the dessert I ordered was mediocre.

We had a fantastic experience here on Wednesday night! Our desserts were delicious and there was so much choice. Oasmah was incredibly friendly and helpful. Thank you Rassams! We will be back : )

Llevé a mi sobrino y sobrina antes, el lugar estaba medio lleno y nos sentamos en un par de minutos. Los platos llegaron en 5 minutos. Los helados sabían bien, pero los pasteles estaban bien, no estoy seguro de cuánto tiempo habían estado allí.El lugar estaba limpio con una bonita decoración.

Was disappointed as this place could have high potential. The restaurant is quite big and can accommodate big groups. Staff should smile a bit more. And tables should be cleaned regularly as they were sticky. Prices were reasonable and they have huge range of different stuff like waffles, pancakes, sundaes etc.We ordered differ t king of cookie doughs and a sticky toffee pudding. It took a while for it to come which I guess was due to the way they presented it. Cookie dough was alright and the custard with the stick toffee pudding was not goood.

Me and my friends came to this restaurant and ordered our food, we were told we had a 20 minute wait to which we replied was okay. However, after 25 minutes I moved my head to the side to see if I could see my food coming. The manager, Attia, then came over and said it would be another 5 minutes but we ended up waiting 45 minutes altogether for some ice cream (which wasn't even full to the top). He also made out as if he had forgot about my order when he brought my friends food 10 minutes before mine. Furthermore, it seemed like the workers were all staring and gossiping about me as one of them stared and frowned then shook his head at me. Overall worst experience ever, the manager was AWFUL.

We called into Rassam's with our grandsons after we had been in town. There was only one person serving and so service was slow. There was no easily seen information re the pricing. Ice creams are good and reasonably priced but service was disappointing.

Came here after having a meal ordered cookie dough with ice cream and husband ordered caramel sundae. Started to eat mine and noticed a bad chip out of the dish with ice cream in luckily I had only eaten of the top of ice cream and not the underneath as if I had I am sure I would have had porcelain in my throat and god only knows what could have happened, my husband called a waiter over explained and all he had to say was he would take it from the bill absolutely out of Order to have received my desert like that. Staff walk round with no interest in anyone and customer service is terrible clear to say we will never return and I am definitely going to take this further as if this would have been a child they would not have noticed the dish and would have completed the ice cream. If you zoom into the small dish you will see the big chip out of it surely the person dishing up the desert must have seen this.

Visited here with the family, i had the waffle and the kids went for a sundae and double choc cookie dough.

Cuando entramos, estaba muerto y no había muchos en el lugar. El personal no era muy acogedor tampoco. Un miembro del personal nos miró y nos puso en una mesa pequeña justo en la parte de atrás, aunque en todos los demás lugares era gratis. Aunque solo éramos 2, éramos grupos de 3 e incluso solo 1 en las cabinas masivas. Estaba muerto cuando llegamos allí y muerto cuando nos fuimos, así que no pude ver por qué no se les permitió un asiento más cómodo.

La lechería de Rassam cuenta con una selección muy amplia de deliciosos postres con tamaños generosos para servir y, en general, un buen servicio. Los asientos son casi en su totalidad en cabinas, por lo que hay mucha privacidad y un ambiente agradable y alegre, así como una adición muy cuidadosa de una sala de oración.

What a terrible end to a lovely afternoon visiting this place. Dirty tables, not enough staff, we all got our orders at different times. Around us lots of tables weren’t cleared. Pancakes were dry, milkshake was awful and to top it off...for an ice cream parlour it was so hot in there, couldn’t wait to get out of tht place.

Well if you’d like under-cooked cookie dough look no further! Absolutely dreadful, tasted like something extra was added... definitely been put off by my first experience of a rassams... will stick with my normal dessert place!

Rassams has always been the best. Cookie doughs obviously can’t be beaten elsewhere. Portion sizes are great and all desserts are smothered in chocolate, unlike other places where they only put small amounts of toppings on things.

Never go Rassams. It may look good on the outside, but i ordered some food and it arrived with hairs inside. It also smelt like cigarettes which took my appetite away.

He estado aquí en varias ocasiones con mi familia y amigos. Los postres normalmente son muy agradables, pero ha habido ocasiones en las que ordené lo mismo y me he visto diferente. Pero en general los postres son uno de los mejores en Sheffield. La única cosa que deja este lugar abajo de vez en cuando es el servicio. Parece que a menudo tardan siglos en llegar hasta nuestro pedido (una vez nos sentamos durante 20 minutos antes de que decidiéramos ir al mostrador para avisarles) o, en ocasiones, tardaríamos en llegar hasta las edades absolutas. . . Pero vale la pena esperar 9/10 veces.

Lo bueno es bastante bueno pero el servicio es horrible. Tomó mucho tiempo para sacar mi café. Después de que una dama limpió nuestros platos, alguien vino a poner los menús en nuestra mesa y un letrero reservado sin decirnos nada, 5 minutos más tarde nos pide que nos vayamos ya que tienen una reserva que llega en unos minutos. Si esto no era lo suficientemente malo, tan pronto como salí de mi asiento, la familia de la reservación se acomodó en los asientos, así que la fiesta ya estaba esperando que nos fuéramos. Nos sentimos muy apurados por el personal y muy grosero! Si se va a reservar una mesa, no haga una fiesta allí en primer lugar y luego pídanos que nos vayamos de repente. Disgustado.

Went here with my daughter and two grandchildren, the waiting time for two ice creams and 2 coffees was nearly an hour, also asked for Pink Ice cream, and was told that would be accommodated it was not ! would not go back

I've been to Rassams a few times now, and I haven't been disappointed. The staff are friendly, and very proffesional, as well as the food being tasty and well presented. So much to choose from, as well as having a great allergy dessert choice. If you're not sure what to have, I highly recommend the Ferrero Rocher pancake stack, amazing!

Rang up twice and waited 2 hours to be told that the driver had given our order to a random person who had apparently walked up to the delivery car. The aim of a delivery is to go to the correct house number and knock on the door so that the worker can deliver the order. We was compensated with additional free desserts, which could’ve not been eaten after us ordering what we know that could’ve only filled us up. We go to Rassams regularly and don’t expect a service like this. This has affected our overall loving view of Rassams as we will not be ordering food to our home again.

En un viaje a Sheffield para el cumpleaños de mi madre, pedimos a Rassam a través de Uber Eats ya que la comida se veía deliciosa, ¡pero estaba muy lejos! La crepe de nutella estaba muy poco hecha y estaba cruda y correosa como la masa de galleta de maní m & m! Ambos nos sentimos enfermos después de comer y no estaríamos ordenando otra vez.

The food was lovely, however our trip was ruined by the rude manager. He was very unfriendly and also very slow- we waiting 30 minutes for him to put our food in takeout boxes.

The delivery was very slow and took 2 hours to be delivered. The milkshakes were too fruity for a chocolate bar flavour. The cookie dough was small and unpleasant. The only highlight was the chocolate waffle

The desserts are nice, but it seems to have lost the polite and friendly service it used to have. It feels a bit like you are on a conveyor belt and they want you in, served and out as quickly as possible!

Visited this place a few times now, polite staff, slow service and the sweet treats are nothing to write home about. The deserts are okay but I've had much better.

I came here after hearing raving reviews on how good it was. I was extremely disappointed. There was only one person serving - the place was empty so I was shocked when I was still stood waiting after 15 mins. Once I had got back to work with my takeaway cake I found the Kinder Bueno on top was white and clearly weeks old. There was a big chunk of mould on the cake itself too. Obviously not fresh produced and definitely not eatable - would not recommend.

We popped in for cake and a drink. It took 30 minutes for someone to take our order and a further 45 for the food to come out. Luckily the desserts were great when they arrived

Visited here Sunday 2nd August with my partner and two kids (3&6). Was seated straight away by a polite and helpful bloke.

We went late on Saturday night and it was amazing, short wait for a table, staff friendly, clean venue, quick service and delicious food.

Went here a week ago quite late night. About 8 of us and got seated in a booth which was clearly not big enough. The waiter who looked like he was young enough to be a school leaver had to go get permission when practically the whole place was empty at 11! I decided to be simple and order a cornflake tart. But to my dismay half way through found a piece of hair in the custard. Absolute gross. Told the young waiter and the cheek he had to ask if it was my own. Hell no it wasn’t. To say this business is owned by my local quite disappointed with the service. Never again.

Cakes brought in. Cookie dough was sickly sweet compared to previous times we had it. Ice cream not labeled. Prices don’t match Quality- has gone down.

So i went there with my family and the cake they provided to my wife was not fresh and we complained. they started an argument and try to charge for it, we refused then all staff including the owner were shouting towards us. Not a family friendly place.

The place was dirty despite it only being open an hour when we got there. I ordered a passion fruit mocktail but the waitress arrived with a bubblegum one, and when I explained the issue, she replied with ‘well we all make it different’... yet bubblegum tastes nothing like passion fruit. The place could be really good if they kept up hygiene standards and had professional staff.

I was really disappointed with both the dessert and service received. I went in on a hot day, I was seated right at the back where there was no a.c. When I questioned if the a.c was on I was told it was but it was just too hot therefore it wasn't making a difference. The outside door was open therefore it lead me to believe that the staff was not being entirely truthful. I asked to be moved to which the lady walked up and down failing to see the huge table that was free under the fan!!!! When we then placed our orders they didn't come out for at least 20mins. Which is along time to.wait on a hot day. When they finally did come out the order was wrong. My little boy was given a milkshake he didn't order making us assume it was actually the one we ordered. 10mins after his second milkshake came, needless to say we were very confused. A very messy service.

Just shocking!! Food service Man came over to take the order and was more interested in talking to his friends on the bluetooth than customers! All the drinks didn’t come and had to ask a second time. Half an hour later food came. Ordered a waffle, had half the outside which was edible then started on the inside and this was under cooked. I wouldn’t give food with undercooked egg in to a dog!! Nevermind someone whos 8months pregnant. All around people rolling there eyes with how long it was taking to recieve their drink or food. I Decided to get up to pay (willing to pay the half that i had eaten).. first i had no aplogy and basically all that was said is Oh you will stil have to pay because you have ate more than 1 mouthful! Someone came out the kitchen to explain that I was wrong and there is a timer on the waffle maker. No sorry, which a was a little disappointed with. At this point all i wanted to do is pay and leave but 10minutes later They just explained I had to pay in full. A few people had recommended this place.. doubtful there will be a revisit in the future.

Went here after a lovely dinner at Reds with the expectation we were going somewhere as good for desert as we had been for meats. Could not be more wrong.

Rude staff, lack training and very incompetent. Never visit this place poor quality. Wrong order and staff suggested that I read the menu.

2 weeks ago tomorrow I went with friends and got take away from here. Tonight with the same friends went again and they refused us service

We turned up. Wanting some pudding. No one had a clue what was happening. No manager to be seen. After waiting over 25 minutes to be seated (with 4 other parties getting seated before us) we then got seated. 10 minutes after I called the waitress over to order, after no sign of her. After another 25 of waiting (with only 2 orders coming out the kitchen) we decided to leave. Very strange carry on and we will not be back anytime soon. Sort your customer service out!

The young lady of African heritage & curly hair was quite off in her tone when we had asked to sit in a specific booth.

I don't usually give bad reviews. However on this occasion I have to. We always go to rassams for dessert because of their selection of desserts and atmosphere. As usual we ordered our dessert and we awaited the arrival of our food, my sister who is pregnant had food with her ( a burger) she couldn't wait for the dessert to arrive so she decided to eat some of her burger while she we was waiting. One of the waiters rushed over and stated that she couldn't have it here because of the policy of the restaurant. She was half way through the burger by now so she apologist and try to finish it, not a second later he came back kinda raised his voice and was telling us off like school children. My elderly mother kept apologising which she shouldn't have because we didn't do anything wrong, we wasn't rude to him and my sister put her food away. Our order was over 40 minutes late, at one point I tried to ask one of the waiters what was happening to our order and was ignored and when my hot desert came to the table it was cold, we asked for water 6 times before we was served, even then the glass cups weren't clean. Shocking honestly, I am deeply disappointed, since the opening of rassams me and my family have been regulars. But I won't be going back there.

Very slow service, we only wanted 4 scoops of ice cream and were waiting 10 minutes, it wasn’t that busy either, staff just seemed to be dawdling around doing nothing. The ice cream was not like proper dairy ice cream, reminded me of a mixture between the old mousses you used to freeze & the marshmallow fluff stuff you get in a jar, just very sweet and sickly - even the kids didn’t eat it!! Won’t be going back!!

Run out of things to do whilst waiting almost an hour for an ice cream. Come on chaps, put it in a bowl and feed me!

They have no idea what gluten free means so they looked very confused said they only have sorbet for my daughter (who's wheat intolerant, not dairy) and kept giving us the vegan menu. Very disappointing, as most gelato is usually fine so we'd made a special trip (we're now doing the rounds!). Husband said gelato was not good quality anyway. Eventually dug out a gf lemon cake for dt, which was lovely, as was the sorbet. Stressful experience tho.

Our visit tonight was ok. Deserts were ok but nothing special considering the price. I think a similar place in town is better. I don’t think I would bother again.

The 2 for £5 takeaway milk shakes across the road in the smaller branch are mint. We tried the lindt and mint areo milkshakes defo worth dropping in. Service was slow but it was very busy and the shakes were so good I didn’t really mind.

Had a lovely visit for my daughters bday. Staff were very attentive, friendly and helpfull, top range of desserts great place 5*.

Service was great and desserts even better! Nice place with good seating (including booths) and very clean. A good evening out for the family or with friends. Highly recommend!

Got a reeses peanut butter shake and cannot taste reeses at all just plain ice cream .. two poor experiences

First time visit and it will be the last. Apart from the overly sweet cheesecake, I found the layout very impersonal. It’s quite a large place but only has one WC. The disabled toilet was out of order. While queuing for the one loo I also noticed the separate disabled access was blocked with a queue rope and stand. When I finally got to use the bathroom there was no toilet roll and the bathroom was not particularly clean.

I’ve never experienced more horrific customer service, for starters the time it took us to get a seat was unbelievable considering we had booked a table in advance, but that is really just the tip of the ice berg, the apparent “owner” (so he claimed so, most likely and overconfident manager) was sexist and very transphobic. One of the female waitresses was shockingly poor at customer service and was outright rude to us, we would never ever recommend this place to a friend let alone go there again.

I came here around 9pm for some dessert after eating our meal elsewhere. What followed was a truly bizarre experience - never have I had to queue for a table so late at a dessert place! The cakes on display looked amazing and were in every colour you can think of, and the menu (when we finally did get a table) was more like a book because of the extensive range. We ordered mixed cookie dough and a cheesecake, and both were divine. I will definitely return. The experience in itself was worth it - the food just made it better!

Ordered a slice of carrot cake which was dry and instantly crumbled. The waiter, after speaking to his manager, claimed it was 'fresh from today'. I was actually embarrassed on behalf of the poor waiter who dared to utter those words
