All-Siam in Sheffield

We decided to call in for some Thai food and were not disappointed. The menu was extensive, the food came on time and was extremely tasty and the service we experienced was first class. I had recommended All Siam to a friend who occasionally visits Sheffield to see her father and her feedback was that it beat any Thai restaurant she had eaten at in London, where she lives. As the menu is cooked from fresh, they can raise or lower the heat on some of the dishes - but sometimes they warned me it can be pot luck with how hot a chili is. We will definitely come back.

Went with a good friend during my holiday and had an incredible time, atmosphere and decor were lovely and food was fresh and delicous (the chilli wings i had as my starter were especially delightful and i could have had 100 without tiring of them) Along with this their cocktails were vibrant and tasty and the staff were welcoming, the owner Pim checked up on us to ensure we enjoyed the food and that our water was full which was appreciated I intend to return the next time i visit sheffield and i miss it already

The Ali Siam is our go to Thai Restaurant in Sheffield. We have been to the restaurant on many occasions with friends, relatives, for birthdays and as a couple & we have always experienced excellent service coupled with good value quality food. The Siam’s staff are always polite, courteous and friendly. It is not the largest restaurant in the world so it’s wise to book in advance but there is a wide choice of dishes to choose from and their staff are happy to give advice if you are not sure of what dishes to choose. We recently booked a 70th birthday party meal & everyone in our party commented how attentive their staff are. Ecclesall Road has other alternatives to choose from for Thai food but the All Siam would always be my number one recommendation for Thai cuisine in the city because they consistently offer a quality experience.

Food very nice,staff nice ,felt claustrophobic as tables very close together, you couldn't have got up without disturbing the next table.

Ordered the Gaeng Daeng curry along with Jasmine rice. The chicken could’ve been cooked a little more but other than that it would’ve been perfect. The mocktails are fine, taste nice but nothing special. The decoration and atmosphere are 5/5.

Had a great Lunar New Year’s Eve dinner in a party of 15. Fab services but it was a bit crowded for the group size. Perfect for smaller groups.

My favourite Thai restaurant in Sheffield. We are always made to feel welcome. The food is delicious and the service is fantastic. Quite a small restaurant which makes for a lovely atmosphere.

Fantastic meal at All Siam. Pork and vegetable spring rolls were so flavoursome. Red curry was the best we have ever had.

One of the best dining experiences I've had in Sheffield and I wish I'd been sooner! Great selection of vegan & vegetarian options, all so tasty. Perfect sized portions too. The service was outstanding and having your water topped up throughout was really appreciated. I couldn't fault our experience, we'll be back!

Disappointing. Food below expectations & portions small

We have been going to this restaurant for many years as the visit this month was not a disappointment and have already booked for January. Great Thai dishes which keep us going until we can return to Thailand which is one of our favourite places. Thanks for the delicious food.

Was excellent, however, the sauce was a bit thinner than expected after eating in the restaurant. But would still recommend.

Food was too greasy when delivered and the taste was nowhere near as tasty as other places, very disappointing

Amazing. Not had a good takeaway for ages from anywhere. Very delicate and bold flavours. Hit all the right notes and a pleasant after taste. Will definitely be ordering again.

The restaurant blamed Just Eat’s delivery driver for not turning up which led to late delivery by one of their own drivers. Some of the food was a bit cold due to late delivery. As side orders we ordered two rices, one egg fried rice & one noodles but actually received four plain rices without explanation.

Last minute booking, we were able to get in for an early sitting on a Saturday evening. Nice atmosphere as already pretty full. Friendly and efficient service we settled for one the set meals which at £26.50 per head we thought was good value. Drinks are reasonably priced too. Nice meal as good as ever.

Nice little Thai restaurant with polite staff but the food wasn't really up to standards. The sauce for the massaman was way to thick, the peanut sauce for was chicken satay was thin and in a tiny fiddly tray. Resonable portions for the mains. Used to go alot years ago but won't go again.

A reasonably priced premium thai restaurant. Prices are similar to zaap thai, however all siam pursues a more "luxurious" experience. The second you step into the restaurant, you will immediately notice the pleasant aroma of a thai spa (not when it's busy). The plates are thick and looks like something thai royalty would use - they are nice and hot when they are served as well :) The food itself is pretty good, the portions are not as big as I would like it to be but it's just enough for the price. They are pretty authentic and I would say the service and the atmosphere just makes them taste better. I recommend going with the more spicy stuff if you like thai food. Me and my girlfriend come here for special occasions and we never get disappointed :)

First visit to Sheffield (son started Uni) so flying a bit blind. Definitely landed on our feet with this one. Restaurant was lovely, staff were really welcoming and helpful. We had a set menu and the food was outstanding. If you’re thinking it…book it, you won’t regret it.

Very low quality food at unbelievable high prices! The worse Thai food we’ve ever eaten. Even at half the price, it would still be a rip off. If you enjoy dry, tasteless meat covered in packet sauce then order from here. Such a disappointment

food portions are incredibly tiny, in fact I feel like I was scammed because of the miniscule amount of food I received. Totally unacceptable, food was also cold. Avoid this establishment if you are hungry because the portions are very very little

We got a couple of different dishes (takeaway) Tom Yum soup lacked depth of flavour. Chicken satay was also lacked flavour & peanut sauce was watery.

Firstly, the driver arrived in 20 minutes which is always suspicious and we're not close to the restaurant. Then the wrong order arrived. The restaurant called but couldn't actually help because they "had too many orders in front of her and was too busy" I asked for a refund, they offered to phone me back on Sunday, when I'm at work, "or another day" (great!) They suggested I place another order but it's far too late now and as they told me they were already so busy there was no point. The driver said he couldn't come back again as his shift was almost over! The staff were unhelpful and our Saturday night (with friends visiting us from far away) was spoiled. Such a shame there aren't more decent Thai options out there but I won't be ordering from these again.

Beautiful authentic Thai food. Couldn’t fault it.

I ordered Choo Chee which didn’t match the description. There were 3 deep fried battered prawns that were very greasy & just a separate plain sauce. No vegetables at all. The noodles were thrown together with about 3 bean sprouts & a slice of carrot & bit spring onion. All portions apart from the rice were small, bland & uninspiring- not what I’d expect from a higher end restaurant

Lovely tasty food with excellent service will definitely go again

I’m sorry but I’m still hungry and with two mains and two sides and an appetiser I feel like I should be full. Especially for the price.

Went in for dinner during our short stay in Sheffield. The service was good and fast, the food was great and the serving size perfect for us. With the set menu we could try several (vegetarian) appetizers, mains and desserts. The staff was really nice. Had a lovely dinner at All Siam!

Been here a few times and it never disappoints. Good fresh food which is always presented well. The staff are always welcoming and friendly and you leave feeling satisfied.

Green curry had 5 pieces of meat and no flavour. Tom yum just full of mushrooms and nothing else. Very disappointed

The food was pretty bad. Bland, over-sweet. The Pearls of Siam was a carton of brown things that tasted like something you'd buy from Iceland. Really disappointing.

We ordered food from All Siam at home via City Grab and it was fantastic. First time we've had their food. The best sticky ribs I've had anywhere, and everything else wonderful too - tender meat, succulent veg dishes, flavoursome sauces. Looking forward to dining in at some point in the future.

Such a lovely place with good food and friendly staff. We were seated a little bit later than we had booked for as we were a large party of people, but the staff kept us updated and sat us as soon as they could. There is a wide variety of food options and the staff were helpful in explaining some of the dishes. Overall, a great place.

We were waiting for our table for 20mins but when we sat down the food and service made up for the wait. Beautiful food and the waiter service was spot on, they couldn't do enough for you. Will definitely book again

We visited on new years eve without a booking and the lovely staff fit us in with only a 15minute wait. The service was fantastic and the waiting staff were so pleasant. the food and drink came quickly and was amazing. They also have a really big vegan menu which we will be back again for soon! Thank you for a lovely meal!

My favourite place on the whole Ecclesall strip. I wouldn't go unless you want to form an addiction lool. It's just a beautiful spot. The Owners integrate and there is such a warm close knit feel and vibe. As for the food.....jeeeeze. nom nom nom. Cocktails.....sip sip sip. Don't say I didn't warn you .

This restaurant has been our favourite for many many years and we have visited so many many times and enjoyed our visits. The restaurant seemed to change and go down hill a few months ago with service not being good and we did not see any or the regular Thai waitresses on any of our visits and I think that was the problem. Visited 4.15pm on 1st January just 15 minutes after they opened. It was almost 1 hour before the starters arrived although they did also bring a main course with one of the starters so that was sent back. When the Mains finally arrived the dish they had brought with the starters was now cold hardly surprising as it was almost another hour before we got the mains. I had to walk all through the restaurant to the bar to take the cold dish back to complain. Strange idea but when they brought back a slightly "aired" dish they brought 2 saying one was complementary. We did not want an extra dish as we had almost finished our meal by then, do declined the offer. Despite catching the waitresses's eye on a number of occasions she did not come to our table. I suspect she was embarrassed. I only wanted the bill so we could leave and draw a line under this bad experience. So I had to walk right though the restaurant again and to request the bill which eventually arrived and we left feeling very let down. It because very clear by the number of phone calls to the restaurant and the number of cars pulling up outside the window that this restaurant now is treating TAKEAWAY over good service in the restaurant. I know restaurants have to survive but they need more staff to give seated customers the service they deserve. Sadly we will Never be returning to what was a favourite restaurant and I have already cancelled future bookings we had made for the next couple of months. A very bad start to the New Year.

The staff are very attentive and always happy to offer advice on what to eat. They are also happy to customise dishes to suit individuals tastes. Cocktail menu is good. Definitely a nice place to go to for catching up with friends, or a birthday meal. Parking is relatively convenient (on street) for a city centre eatery.

Very good Thai food at a decent price

Had a lovely welcome but that’s where it ended. We ordered our food just as a couple of larger tables entered the restaurant. It seemed then that my husband and I were no longer a priority. Our food came and my dish was really bland and lacking flavour. My husband offered some of his but that had a strange after taste. Most restaurants will come and ask if everything is ok and ask if you’d like to order anymore drinks etc but as i said, the staff were all fussing over the larger tables and so we weren’t given any opportunity or service. When someone finally came to clear our plates and asked if everything was ok, I explained the above to which the lady said “I’ll let the chef know”. That was it. No offer to replace the meal with something else, no offer of maybe a drink or dessert, no offer to discount anything.. instead she asked if we’d like to order desserts. We said no thank you and she walked away. We then waited and waited, trying to get someone’s attention for the bill. I ended up standing up and putting my coat on so they would see I was ready to go. A young lady then came over and filled our water glasses?! I asked for the bill and then waited another 10-15 minutes for that to come. She then asked me how much I would like to pay (obviously whether I was wanting to add a tip). I paid the bill in full and left. This was a rubbish experience and a shame as we had read very good reviews and were really looking forward to the evening. There were plenty of staff available to serve and look after everyone so it’s difficult to understand why we got such poor customer service and no attempts to even make an effort to rectify anything. Maybe we weren’t spending enough? Who knows but we love Thai food and have been given other recommendations to try.
