Rama in Dundee City

While on holidays we always look for dinner with something different. We found this place through TripAdvisor and it did not disappoint. Great food and there was more than sufficient of it. Quick and courteous service, all within a few blocks of where we were staying, close to the V&A. The wine selection was very presentable. All in all a great choice and a place we would return to.

When you are in Dundee and are looking for somewhere for your evening meal which is absolutely amazing, then the place that I am about to review is the place for you, and that place is Rama which is located at 32-34 Dock Street. I visited Rama last night after a great day out with my friend and had the most amazing meal which consisted of sweet and sour chicken with Jasmine rice and boiled rice followed by liquer ice cream washed down with diet coke both of which I enjoyed. Other reasons why I like Rama are that the place is clean, the welcome is warm and the service is really good, especially from our waiters who gave us service with a smile. I really enjoyed my meal

Para ser justos, probablemente tomé las decisiones equivocadas del menú, ya que mi esposo realmente disfrutó su comida. Comí pastel de pescado tailandés, pero no me gustó la textura y pensé que eran bastante insípidos por sí mismos. Mi principal era pato que fue cocinado en masa. Muy grasiento y no pude comer la mayor parte. Sin embargo, mi marido verde curry tailandés era delicioso. En general, estaba bien

I was born and brought up here and moved away 40 years ago. On my return trips, I now see a huge difference in my city. WOW. A lot of money has been poured into this city and you really should experience the BUZZ!

decided to take my wife out for a meal to the new restaurant Alishi in Dundee,booked a table for eight thirty on a Friday night, when we arrived it took over five minutes to be acknowledged, not the best of starts ,it took ten minutes to be asked if we wanted a drink,as I said not the best of starts but when the male assistant took over everything changed,a service with a smile,he took time to explain the menu,some things very different from the normal Indian restaurant,the food was very good and reasonably priced,once the service is sorted this will become a real top restaurant in Dundee,I will return to Alishis because of the male assistant and the of course the food,

This town has a good mix of shops, beautiful and historic buildings, restaurants and museums. Its a great place to spend a weekend with lots of hotels to chose from and good transport links. The railway and road bridges are lovely. Use Club55 on scotrail if you can.

Dundee is a Lovely place for a visit plenty to see and do would recommend it to any one. Lots of places for eating, lots of shops to.

i have to say that this is the best thai I have ever had. Very clean, polite and attentive staff and by far the most wonderful food to the palate! The atmosphere and ambience was just fantastic. One of the best restuarants in Dundee must try!

Very friendly and polite staff help make your meal here an enjoyable experience. An excellent selection of dishes, freshly prepared, to suit all tastes at a reasonable cost. A good place to relax as a couple or for a family/works dinner. Have been here a few times now and have never been disappointed.

Called in for lunch, very busy and mains course arrived before starters! But quickly resolved. Lunch special = starter & main for £6.95 excellent value. Tasty food & pleasant service, would recommend.
