Lovely place and house , but unfortunately ridiculously high prices for the most plain and cheap looking toasts, or for toasts overall to pay around £10 is just not fair. Also you have to pay more for alternative milk..which is always disappointing. The prices on the pictures here on Google maps of the menu is not right. The burrata toast has gone up almost £3 in price 😕 Service is very slow.

Adorable cafe in all of its meanings: location (away from the city chaos without living London), magical vibes which remind me of The Lord of the Rings, friendly service, great spot for anybody and any age, paradise for dogs walks. Sadly, there might be too many people in the cafe but it’s not a big deal.

The place itself was very cute, but completely packed and busy, felt like everyone was on top of each other. The food was average and quite expensive for what it is. Service is okay in general, but the barista guy was unpleasant to interact with. Such a shame, as I thought it could be the spot, but after today's experience, don't think I will come back here again. It's not worth it.

Came here after seeing it blow up on social media, and to be fair it lived up to the hype! A lovely quirky setting with a surprisingly rich history, The building was lovely and even the outside seating had blankets. The waitress was quick even though there was a super long queue so props to her! Same with the barista, she was super kind and equally as speedy. The food while a bit expensive was great quality and both my girlfriend and I both remarked on its flavour. We shared a hummus & avocado toast with a burrata, pesto & tomato toastie. Both being absolutely delicious (:

Tucked away in the woods, this charming café is a hidden gem for those seeking a peaceful retreat. The ambiance is incredibly cosy, with warm lighting, wooden interiors, and a crackling fireplace that makes you feel right at home. The café has an organic garden, adding a fresh touch to its food and drinks, and even offers private cabins you can book for a more secluded experience. The menu leans towards the expensive side, but the quality of ingredients and the serene atmosphere somewhat justify the cost. The coffee is rich and aromatic, and the homemade pastries are a delight. You can tell that a lot of care goes into sourcing and preparing their food. Beyond the food, the café offers a variety of activities—board games, books to read, and even drawing materials for a creative touch. Whether you're looking to unwind with a good novel or engage in a friendly game, there's something for everyone. Overall, if you're looking for a place to relax, disconnect, and enjoy a high-quality meal in a stunning natural setting, this café is worth a visit. Just be prepared to spend a little extra for the experience.

The cafeteria its surroundings and location are absolutely charming with an atmosphere straight out of a fairytale. But once inside you realize that there’s hardly any space. The seating area must be about 9 square meters. There's barely any space between the tables and it feels a bit claustrophobic being so close to the person next to you. I was really disappointed when the waitress brought me my menu with blue disposable plastic gloves that were dirty. She handed me my utensils wrapped in a napkin that was stained with dark spots. Obviously I had to ask for a replacement but it left me wondering how they manage the cleanliness of cups, plates, etc. I was really let down. it looked better on their website and while it might be very photogenic and Instagrammable, it leaves a lot to be desired in terms of space and hygiene.

I really feel lucky to live so close to Queen's Wood Cafe! It's a perfect spot to find peace, right in the middle of the forest. The Chai Latte is amazing; I always get one whenever I visit. It’s such a wonderful experience sitting here, sipping my drink while enjoying the sounds of birds around me. I’ve definitely become a regular here; it’s my go-to place whenever I want to relax and unwind with a book or laptop, surrounded by nature. It's especially calm during weekday mornings and afternoons, making it an ideal spot for anyone seeking tranquility. Plus, kids can paint for free, and there’s a cozy reading book where you can enjoy a book free of charge! There are plenty of outdoor seating options, and it’s a great place to bring your dog. If you’re looking to work outside, it also offers a fantastic atmosphere to get things done while immersed in nature.

Came to this cafe knowing it was popular on social media and the queues weren’t close to the worst of it. The staff were very rude and short with us, and after standing waiting for a coffee for nearly 30 minutes without being asked what we ordered, we requested a refund before they offered us the coffees we never got. We ordered a flat white and a mocha and it couldn’t have been further from a mocha. More like a watery cappuccino. Very disappointing and the coffee itself wasn’t that good either. On top of that, £5.95 for a piece of toast with melted cheese on a piece of bread, not even crispy toast, just bread. More salad than the thing I actually ordered. The atmosphere outside is really lovely and gives the cosy vibes people have seen on TikTok and Instagram but the inside is chaotic, cramped and cold, and too bright with very little deliberate decor.

I don’t really want to give it a negative review but it’s sad for locals that it’s suddenly overrun by tourists. 5 stars for the staff who are doing their best. Honestly, I never came specially for the coffee (but I always get some) or food since there are better places around here for that, but I liked that it was so tranquil. I can’t bring myself to come here at the moment, though; it’s a tourist attraction. Really lovely location nestled in the woods with loads of outdoor seating. But, something is awry in its operations - I queued for 30 minutes to order and receive a hot drink and a pastry. I wanted to order something more substantial food wise but decided not to after seeing how slowly the queue was moving. You also can't see the pastry display whilst queuing until after you've paid and are in the drinks queue. I would have ordered differently if I had seen what I was ordering first. My pastry and drink were fine, but I ended up being disappointed with my food choice made worse by having queued for so long for it! Overall, not worth the lost time catching up with my friend. It is a beautiful spot so I can imagine going back but might do what I saw so many others doing and bring my own next time! Possibly not what the cafe owners want to hear.

Walk in experience : At 1st it looked like normal cafe , pretty view outside as you can see the sunrise, Drinks: average .. I had better experience and coffee for the price given. Workers: Some seem friendly, but I will say not welcoming towards me. As I did ask for replacement because I didn’t taste my coffee or just milk. I did apologise.. for this for even asking. (The guy was nice about it to change it) Sadly I have to give my honest experience and review on this as I was little upset on some people approach. As I worked in customer service and dealing with clienting , I feel like if you want to feel welcomed and giving a good service , you can tell by the energy given. I feel they was more lovely to other customers then my experience. I ain’t sure if I want to come back here even through it was lovely place to go , but it did impact on my experience sadly. I hate to leave a negative review for a small business. This is a lovely little cafe enjoyed by locals, with a quaint exterior. I’m pleased that it has attracted recent attention through TikTok/ Instagram, however it is now overrun with tourists and I fear that it will loose its charm. Today I ordered a coffee, soup and toastie to takeaway which came to over £20. I asked multiple times for my order to be for take away (they clarified it would be) and yet it arrived to me on a plate. By the time they returned it back to be in a bag (about 15 minutes later..) it was cold. The burrata toastie was ice cold and super sloppy (literally looked like it had been dipped in milk) and my coffee was small and may as well have been iced. I image the staff are feeling stressed with the influx of business and probably doing the best they can, but I am resentful that I spent £20 on an inedible toastie and cold coffee that I threw away after two sips.

Have been coming here for a while and have had cozy, tranquil experiences. It was a place where you could relax, enjoy a coffee, and read a book. Came back again today only to find a queue snaking into the woods because it has blown up on social media. It is great that they have found success, but there is clearly no intention of retaining the cozy environment that once was. A reservation system or a sign up sheet at least would allow people to come back later for a seat. The long queue also ruins the experience for everyone who is currently seated.

A beautiful cafe which has been unfortunately ruined by internet fame. My partner and I used to visit Queen's Wood Cafe regularly and recently came back for a quick lunch. We were surprised to see a queue wrapping around the side of the building. Apparently this is due to the cafe going viral on Instagram. Due to the length of the queue we couldn't get in to get food or coffee. My frustration comes with the fact that this situation is not new; based on the negative reviews it has been happening for at least 3 weeks. I understand that it takes time for a business to adapt, but there are several easy steps they could have taken to improve customer experience and none of these are in effect. They could have a paper sign in sheet with return times available for tables. They could have a sign at the end of the queue with estimated wait times. They could have a separate queue for takeaway and coffee. I am also upset because I contacted the business to voice concerns about the crowds and received a very canned response about how happy they are that more people are finding their restaurant. Well... That's great, but what about customer experience for locals who have been coming here for a long time? Very disappointed and hoping that the mania around this place settles soon. EDIT - I initially gave them two stars to account for how wonderful this place used to be but I just saw that the canned response they gave me is EXACTLY word for word the response they gave to the negative comment below mine on Google. This indicates to me that they didn't even read my feedback and this is especially upsetting. Due to this level of lack of attention to customer feedback I am changing my rating to one star.

There was not a hand wash soap to use, their hand drier was not working and there was not paper towels to use either.

Perhaps going on a weekend explains the one hour queue😅but it is extremely busy. The food was okay but £7 for half a toast is overpriced. The place is super pretty though

As a local, I would love to give this venue a 5 star review but I had my son’s birthday party over the weekend and it was a disaster. The cafe was super busy and it’s the same staff that is trying to serve people in the cafe that is managing the events. The manager was super nice to deal with before and after the party but he was MIA during. It was extremely stressful and I would not have another party here. The food was nice though.

Lovely location and cafe but it's incredibly overwhelmed with customers, at least at the weekend. After queueing for around 15 mins I ordered a toastie. After 1hr 15 mins I asked for an update and was told the order had probably got lost. I did get a refund but I won't be back again, especially not at the weekend!

Enchanting little cabin, out of time and yet well preserved. Cozy and leafy, with plenty of treats and board games to entertain oneself. Mocha was delicious though super hot. Better avoid weekends as there’s often a queue.

Unfortunately can't recommend here - the mocha I had was terrible, I saw the barista use powder chocolate and even then it didn't taste of anything. A bigger coffee machine is definitely needed as the one they have is small and seems old, cannot keep up with the demand. Went on a Saturday afternoon which means I queued 30 minutes to place the order and I can understand staff are overwhelmed with a sudden surge of customers. I ordered the hummus with avocado & sun dried tomatoes toastie, but it was just an open sandwich 😅 was expecting it to be hot which it wasn't but it did taste nice. My friend was happy with his tuna mayo with cheese toastie at least. It's such a pretty cafe with great natural surroundings, and I love that they grow their own ingredients but food and drinks quality definitely need to be improved. I should add that staff seemed nice and were apologetic about the wait.

The place has such a vibe in the woods. Thanks to a lot of content going around on IG, there was a lot of people and line on a Saturday was huge. Service is super basic and slow as they are clearly unready to such crowds. Quality of coffee, cakes and pastries is really average and there's a lot of margin for improvement. Such a pity with such a lovely place.

It's nice but then it isn't. Maybe if you are there on a week day when there are no visitors it's a whole different experience, but on a weekend - wouldn't recommend. The place is lovely and pretty, but had sooo so many people when we came. We waited in the queue for like 30 min. Most of the food was gone already (it was around 2-3 pm). There were no seats... And the people just kept coming and coming. The ladies making the drinks were so tired from non stop coffee making that you could see their hands shake from the pressure. This leads them to become slightly sloppy, but it's not their fault that the place overworks them so much. Just feel sorry for them... Anyhow. Regular coffee, slightly overpriced food, and too many people. They should really think of expanding or changing the format of how they operate.

Mocha was mediocre and staff were incredibly busy so don't expect artisanal coffee making. All cakes etc. were completely sold out on Sunday afternoon. However the location is absolutely gorgeous and I would come back just to relax in nature.

The homely decor and cabin-ambience makes for the perfect place to read a book, and sip on a chai latte—however, the one I ordered tasted of heated plain milk, sadly. A great chai latte experience would easily have made this review 5 stars. Hopefully next time!

One of my favorite spots ever. Very calm, serene, with tasty food and extremely friendly staff. It all feels very homey, cozy, especially with the roofed terrace overlooking the forest and with the welcoming staff.

Super cute cafe in the woods! Given its location I thought it would be heaving when we visited on bank holiday, but it had a nice buzz with available seats. Being nestled in the forest means you can enjoy peace and being surrounded by nature. Coffee and cake were both excellent. We’ll be back on a walk soon.

It’s the prettiest little cafe I’ve seen in a while! Sadly the coffee wasn’t very good, and the almond croissant I ordered was stale. But I visited for the overall experience and I would visit again and again for sure. You can bring your pets in the cafe, all the customers had them and I really love that.

A few weeks ago I had a birthday party at the café. Honestly, I have been struggling to put into words how AMAZING everything was, from start to finish. But to start, Ismael who runs the cafe with his with Sarah, took care of me and the planning from start to finish. The food was incredible (I still have people asking me about it), the venue layout was arranged perfectly and looked like out of a movie. The service and staff were lovely and accommodating. To have such a 10/10 experience in a fairly budget friendly way made the event even more incredible. I can't tell you how perfect this was and what a wonderful, magical place to do so in. Ismael and Sarah's cafe is truly a community gem and if you're considering having an event here, do not think twice about it!

Great staff and service. Great prices and tasty food. You can eat in or takeaway. The menu has a great amount of options and meals. Always freshly cooked and tastes great with generous portions. I would recommend this place as it gets busy on match days and events.

A True Gem – BeJoy Tandoori is Simply Outstanding! From the moment we stepped into BeJoy Tandoori, we knew we were in for a special experience. The atmosphere was calm, inviting, and truly relaxing, making it the perfect place to enjoy an evening out. What truly sets this restaurant apart, however, is the owners. They are some of the kindest, most polite, and respectful people we have ever met. Their attention to detail and genuine care for their customers make this place feel like home. They continuously checked in, ensuring we had everything we needed, yet without ever being intrusive. Their warmth and hospitality made our visit truly memorable. Now, let’s talk about the food—absolutely incredible! The portions were generous, leaving both me and my friend feeling completely satisfied. Every dish was full of rich flavors, cooked to perfection, and presented beautifully. Even the sauces and condiments were exceptional, showing the thought and effort they put into every detail. And to top it all off, the prices were very reasonable, making the experience even better. We absolutely loved our time at BeJoy Tandoori and will definitely be returning. This restaurant isn’t just great because of its food—it’s the amazing owners who make it truly special. We wish them all the success in the world, and we can’t wait for our next visit!
