Excellent service and food. First time eating here and was not disappointed considering we were a large party of 15. All meals perfect. Will definitely go again soon

Excellent fish dishes on the specials menu! Not on the standard menu but ask for “Gill’s zucchini fries finely sliced” - great side with any dish. Like wise the adffogato desert with amaretto is great to finish with. This is a proper restaurant who want you to enjoy the meal, so we have learned quickly to always ask for the specials, and also to ask for something even if not on the menu. If they can do it they will!

Still finding it’s feet in a new town matching their menu to local preferences, but no doubting the quality of the Italian head-chef and the delicate touch he has with fish. We had two different dishes from the specials menu, both based on monkfish, both were genuinely excellent, and if you got the pan fried version in a small portion as part of a Michelin star restaurants tasting menu it wouldn’t be out of place. A bit more expensive than some in this area, but portions are generous and quality excellent, so no complaints from me re’ value for money. Service is personable & professional, and wine list limited but interesting and covers all the bases.

We had a lovely meal, shared meat and cheese starter followed by a couple of the specials, washed down by a nice bottle of red. Service was very attentive and friendly. Overall a great local restaurant. If I am super critical, the music could be turned down a notch, the lighting could be turned down a notch and without losing the attentiveness the service could be a tad less "efficient". It would perhaps give the restaurant as slightly more sophisticated feel which the food deserves. This restaurant serves some really nice homemade pastas and sauces with a good wine list. It is not a typical pile it high sell it cheap pasta and pizza joint. Will certainly be back and with friends.

All seafood is fresh, pasta is fresh, best quality in the area most definitely. The restaurant also does cocktails and has a great wine list

Good service but food was very poor & prices very high. Good portions good but food very bland and tasteless , was looking forward to it but won’t be going back unfortunately.

Ordered ravioli special which cost £16:50. Really disappointed. About 5 ravioli on the plate. Left hungry and disappointed. Won’t be returning

Great specials - was shocked they charge for soda in bottles but overall an enjoyable experience and will visit again for sure!

Heard some mixed reviews from local friends so delayed going to this recently reopened restaurant, but our lunch was excellent. Professional but still very personable service, limited but good wine selection with a couple of interesting inclusions, very nicely cooked & honestly presented food (veal Milanese, sea bass, zucchini fries - all very good). We will definitely be back!
