Q Garden Chinese Takeaway in Renfrewshire

AVOID AVOID AVOID Absolutely terrible customer service. I ordered online and was galled to learn of the 60 pence admin fee. I thought at least that takes me over the £18 threshold for complimentary prawn crackers. How wrong I was! The £18 threshold was on the subtotal only. This was £17.80, 20p short, I thought surely they wont quibble. They tried to charge me £2 extra for the prawn crackers. I just left. Maybe I shoulda bought a fork. Absolutely disgusted at this company which, like so many others these days, appear to have too many customers.

Soggy chips and soggy chicken balls. Average chicken fried rice and the gravy wasn't nice

This is the best Chinese takeaway; I've ordered here a couple of times. The portion sizes are huge, you get a handful of prawn crackers and the price is pretty great considering the amount of food that you get - it's extremely filling. They take only cash, so please do have some in hand. My favorites so far are beef in black bean sauce, pork curry, salt and chilli wings, chowmein.

Ordered a breast of chicken chowmein dish with cashew nuts and no onions (clearly stated no onions as allergic) and my dish was cold, came with onions, very little cashew nuts and sauce.. very disappointed as I’ve been ordering from here for over 10 years. Will take my business elsewhere.

Excellent food and quick delivery. Thankfully I had some cash as they do not take card. There isn't a cash machine immediately by the takeaway so be prepared.

It is a Chinese takeaway and the food is really good.

Just received 2 curries which I ordered the sauce was like water !!!! Could not eat it my plate was swimming and no prawn crackers with the order either .

Been ordering from here for years but unfortunately my last..Beef curry was bland and watery. Chicken Satay wasn't any better...

Need to look at there portion sizes for the prices they are charging the chicken fried rice is like a lunch special

this chinese restaurant/takeaway is definately 5 star in all ways food is great delivery is actualy "UNBELIEVABLY QUICK" i only stay about 2 miles away but ordered meals last 2 nights in a row and both nights food has been delivered to my door within 11 minutes of me placing my order unbelievably fast service and 10/10 for quality of food would 100% recommend def 5 *****

My lady loves the kung po chicken - that's why we go there. Like all Chinese takeaways in the area, and only chinese, it's cash only tax dodging. Modernise and pay your way.

Used this place for years, but owners or chef have changed, very poor value and not as good as used to be.

Love this Chinese it's my go-to simply because of their won tons am still hoping they add dumplings to the menu so I can try them as well I think there's somewhere in paisley that does dumplings but I would rather q gardens to do them for me to try that way I know they will be good

Takeaway service only - but one of the best locally. The food quality is always top notch. Pricing is okay too. Our favourite 'go to' for a Chinese carry out meal. Worth noting that 'over the counter' orders are 'cash only'. However, if you order online, you can pay online too.

First time using this Chinese was lovely food hot and was delivered within 20 mins best Chinese in our area

ordered takeaway online and im extremely impressed with the customer care i cant eat gluten and i ordered chips with my food, hoping they had the means to make them unfortunately they didnt which is understandable for a takeaway in a small town- theres not going to be much need for a gluten free fryer however what really impressed me is they called to tell me they werent able to make the chips because of the cross contamination. and substituted them ive had issues in the past where the importance of avoiding cross contamination has been ignored and ive ended up unwell. its a small thing that should always happen- that takeaways and restaurants know about proper allergen procedure and their ability to safely make the food- but it means the world when they do. my food arrived extremely fast (i started typing the review minutes after id had the conversation about the chips being unavailable) and it looks delicious

Well, this place is going downhill fast all of a sudden. Meal turns up 1hr 25mins after ordering (advised 55mins)..stone cold freezing..and delivery guy has the brass neck to stare me out waiting on a tip!!

Ordered chicken chow mein never again swimming in dark brown gravy chips freezing cold and had been cooked at least twice waste of money

Worst chinese ever ,wasnt even warm AVOID

I used to love this takeaway but the last three orders have been a big disappointment - chicken balls ere well over cooked and probably re-cooked - solid and inedible. The chicken satay was nothing like it used to be - the chunks of plain chicken partially covered in satay sauce - sadly I will be looking for another Chinese takeaway now

One of the best takeaways of all time in my opinion. Throughout the countless times I've ordered from here, I've only had one bad item. If you are to order from here, I recommend getting the chicken balls, noodle soup, or salt and chilli chicken.

What a load of rubbish,, ordered a breast of chicken rice, absolute garbage no flavor plain as as a cup of water,, the pork fried rice like sipping on a glass of pure salt,, what the heck are you serving here , my hard earned £18 in the sewer, never again,, please be warned, avoid, warning, Waring, warning, keep away.

Best Chinese in the area that I've found so far. I'm happy to get an order with no mistakes for a change. Salt and chilli chicken is brilliant 👌😋

Not as good as it used to be? Don't know if it's new chef's or new owner.. posted 3byears ago.. Update April 2021. 2 new owners since then. It was great up until this month.. absolutely shocking the way they treat their customers.. food never arrived by delivery.. 2 hours waited . So asked for my money back, to be toldThey weren't sure they could do that as boss wasn't in. Eventually Asked me to go down and collect the money.. I told them to send it up by their delivery driver.. when he arrived he said boss was hiding in the kitchen all along!! Lost my custom.

This was the worst Chinese takeaway ever, don't know what the meat was but it certainly was not chicken

Not a bad Chinese takeaway but there are so many better ones available in Johnstone. I use this one when I'm feeling lazy as it's closest to me and parking is easy (if you can't get right outside, the station carpark is literally seconds walk away). But there's also always a wait here - even on the couple of occasions I've phoned my order in. The girls behind the counter are always friendly and efficient though.

Food was good until I noticed a huge beetle in my noodles. Absolutely disgusting. Makes you question the cleanliness of the establishment. Never again.

Very rarely disappointed with this Chinese takeaway. Always at the top of our pick list when choosing to order Chinese food... Even though the selection locally is numerous.

We always ordered from Q Garden the only time we had to call was to mention my chicken curry and chips I always have was very very watery. We got "cut off" and called back again. We were "cut off" again. We have been loyal for years. Sorry you felt the need to say bring it back then hang up TWICE No more from me.

Food as lovely as usual but disappointed as instead of now sauce was giving bbq rics and charged 5 dearer than expected went to phone back to complain and no answer!! Soup was awful dosent taste like chicken attal!

Best Chinese food I’ve tasted in years. Sad they don’t deliver to lochwinnoch. I called the shop last Friday it was saying it’s closed until 1st February anyone know why? Is it because of the Chinese New Year

Great food though wish they'd take switch
