Puckersley Inn in Oldham

Discusting should had checked reviews before coming here, think the chef here must have worked on a pig feeder previously, food is discusting the taste and smell is worse than anything we've ever had. Either get a new chef or you will be closing down -1 out of 10.

Would definitely reccomend this place the sunday roast was brilliant, the service was excellent and the staff were very friendly, great views from the back and plenty of parking and quite reasonably priced for a family of 3 will be returning soon hopefully 👍

Food was exceptional, the hospitality is perfect and felt well cared for. No issues. They had live music on our visit. Which was absolutely amazing. Definitely 100% recommended.

A pub/restaurant with a friendly welcome and a wide ranging menu. Our food was simply delicious and the staff couldn’t do enough for us. All of this, along with the relaxed atmosphere definitely made our trip to the Puckersley Inn an evening which will be repeated.

Went for the first time after recommendations from friends. Food was lovely but service... poor would be too harsh but good it wasn't. My wife ordered a pot of tea when it came the cup was filthy and the pot grubby. When we finished our meal nobody came to clear our plates or offer us dessert. We paid and left... we won't be back.

Lovely cosy homely pub with a great atmosphere. Staff very friendly, professional and attentive. Huge well designed and maintained beer garden with a great view. The food was amazing with plenty of choice and reasonably priced. Highly recommend

Lovely pub but if paying contactless be careful and check what your being charged. Came last night and when checking my banking today was overcharged and appeared to have been rounded up.

We had a fantastic experience at the Puckersley Inn! The staff went above and beyond to accommodate us for food despite not having a reservation, making us feel incredibly welcome. The service was warm, attentive, and efficient, and the food was excellent. Highly recommend this place for its top-notch hospitality and cosy atmosphere.

Went last October, food was awful , ordered a steak style sandwich, was just chunks of cheap meat , had to leave it , waited over an hour to be served, only stayed as we had someone elderly with us and had booked. Did complain but to no avail, other customers were eating starters and main meal at same time , will Not be going back .

Absolutely love coming here all the staff are so friendly and the food is to die for! Roshin is lovely and so considerate. She was amazing and always made sure that we had what we needed! Absolute 10/10 would recommend and will be coming back again! Food is always to a good standard and is presented so well😍

I can never fault the puckersley inn. Amazing food, friendly staff and such a warm environment. The staff couldnt be happier to help with any thing we needed. The salt n pepper chicken burger is particularly good, best I have had. 10/10 every time!!!!!!!!

I would absolutely recommend The Puckersley Inn, having dined there on several occasions in the past few months. The staff cannot do enough to help you and always provide a warm and welcoming atmosphere. I have tried afew different meals, all cooked superbly with no complaints at all. If you want to enjoy a lovely meal in a cosy environment then The Puckersley is the place for you!

Ate there recently and then yesterday, 15 of us attended on spec after a Celebration of Life. Just turned up, not booked in advance, wasn't a problem. Food top notch. Service and atmosphere equally so. Thanks 😊

Had a great night in there with my family we made a booking and the table was ready for us as soon as we came in. The staff were brilliant very helpful with any questions about the menu or what’s on draft. The actual pub itself is well taken care of and clean and everything up to standard. Would definitely come back again and look forward to when I do.

I had salmon tagliatelle with goats cheese. The dish cost £16.50 and for that price I expected a fair amount of salmon. I received approximately a spoonful of salmon, a teaspoon full of goats cheese, and I suspect the tagliatelle was not tagliatelle but spaghetti! Also, it was not particularly hot by the time it arrived at our table. One of my dinner companions had the chicken tagliatelle and he advised that the chicken was chewy! My other friends had the haddock and chips which they both enjoyed So if you eat there – stay away from the pasta dishes!

Very disappointed with our battered haddock and chips. Paid £15.99 each and was served with a fish that was much smaller than one fish finger. It was served with nine chips. My husband ordered a roast chicken dinner and was charged £2.00 extra because he substituted mad potato for chips.

If your looking for a cosy warm atmosphere then look no further, the pucks is somewhere I often tend to visit not just for the food but the atmosphere, it’s warm and inviting and the food alone is just lovely! They’ve got some new items on the menu and I couldn’t wait to try them, inc gyozas and a baguette which was sooooooo good! All reasonably priced and I would absolutely keep coming back There wasn’t a long wait for food and the staff are attentive If your looking for a warm pub, glass of wine and some great food I would recommend the puckersly every time!

Went for some dinner today had the s n p steak ciabbata with s n p chips was bang on. Mrs had the trio of sliders and halloumi fries food was spot on and so was the service.Will deffo return

Had roast lamb..absolutely disgusting 🫣 it was anemic and the veg was rock hard practically raw..never again..we waited 45 minutes for our meal 😡

Great atmosphere, fantastic service and lovely food. Three of us chose the gammon steak with egg, pineapple, chips and peas from their Specials Menu. Couldn't fault it and just wish they offered gammon on their regular menu.

Food was bad,,out of 9 adults and 1 child my daughter was the only one to eat hers everything else was caked in salt or to much seasoning.asked for tomato and basil soup and got given something else other than what we ordered.after this experience we will never go back

Took my aunt for a birthday meal and was sadly a little bit disappointed. Waiting staff were lovely and working hard . The mains just seemed a little under par from the gastro pictures I'd seen online . My aunty left her veggy fries because they were hard and her meat seamed a but anemic, it was lamb and the fat on the side was like still clear , not soft and falling apart id say under done tbh . I dunno nothing awful just not really was I expected from the pics. Dessert and coffee was lovely standard . Probably won't rush back tbh .

The cheese and onion pie is vile, the salad had more oil than the North Sea, the triple cook chips tasted like they had been cooked the day before and warmed up in the microwave, to top it off when I sent it back after only having a mouth full off the plate I was told I still have to pay for it!!!! Save your money and tastebuds and eat somewhere else.

We had the 2 courses Sunday lunch. We both had the fish gougons and the roast beef. Although the gougons had quite a thick coating they were quite nice. Unfortunately the roast beef was chewy and inedible really. They swapped it for the pork which was OK. However there was no recompense for the roast beef we had been looking forward to. I was particularly embarrassed as my friend was from out of town.I had a recommendation to go here from another friend who had a sandwich and chips earlier in the week. So maybe if you stick to the sandwiches you might be OK. Moreover, it cost £4.50 extra for a portion of cauliflower cheese.

Food really disappointing, Sunday lunch beef was scary tough,had to cut it small as chewing it was difficult, cutting it small was also difficult,mash was OK, gravy was OK,roast potatoes seemed old with a cardboard finish,carrots were hard,not firm ,almost raw,broccoli and cauliflower was ok.My wife's veg was the same but she had tough pork .Certainly wouldn't go again, been in a few Lees pubs....this was the worst food.

Roast beef was chewy but everything else was fine. Although I thought the mash was instant. The garlic mushroom starter was yummy

We have eaten numerous times at the Puckersley and again the food was first class. Friendly staff and a pub with a good friendly atmosphere. Had 2 starters, 2 mains and a bottle of wine for under £70. Good value for a quality meal.

Came today for lunch dad and daughter celebrating dad's 69th birthday lovely staff the girls were most pleasant dad orderd the american burger and I went for the salt &pepper burger food was amazing fresh and flavour some lovely beer garden and views we will definitely be back soon x

This was our first visit to the puckersley and we will definitely be going back. Very welcoming staff and a very nice and clean pub. The food was delicious but the portion size was a little on the small size. The entertainment came on at 9 and he sounded great. So we plan on going back soon to enjoy the artists which are on every Saturday. Well done guys...

The Puckersley goes above and beyond AND THEN some for guests!!!! My husband and I invited our whole family out for a dinner and gender reveal of our baby and we asked the waitress staff to help us with the surprise. Not only did Liana, our waitress excitedly oblige in being the first to find out the gender and fill a cupcake with the correct color so that my husband and I could be surprised too, she made it super special by having the staff bring out a congratulations dessert, film our reactions and take pictures, and was just so wonderful the entire time in making it a special occasion for us. All this to say, the food was also SO delicious! We love the Puckersley and will be coming here for years to come when we are in town!!! Thanks again for everything!

A spur of the moment last minute meal after being so busy after work. They were very kind fitting us in just before 8pm, the food was lovely and we're all leaving full and happy!

Great pub and lovely food! They do a good pub quiz on Mondays that's very varied and it's got a very honely countryside vibe. Good range of beers and very friendly staff!

Fantastic pub and restaurant. All the staff are extremely efficient, friendly and professional. The food and menu is always good with a regular addition of "specials' that changes on a regular basis. Live music on a Saturday night and a great quiz on a Monday night adds even more to this fantastic venue. We love it.

Decent but pricey food in a lovely location. I had the lamb shank...it was delicious, but it was expensive for a cut of meat that used to be considered the leavings for the poor , but given that lamb is about the most expensive meat in the UK, it wasn't entirely surprising. You could dine inside or out, but the latter had more of a fast food menu. The view over the fields to the Oldham skyline in the distance made you feel that you were pleasantly distant from the hubbub. Well worthba visit.

This is a great find for a sweltering summers day. The crispy pork belly is great. It was my first pork belly and I will be ordering it more often! The toilets were satisfactory and the staff were helpful. The beer garden had a great view. Will be back if I am back in the area.

Never a bad meal here. Service is always spectacular. Favourite pub. Lamb Koftas were very tasty. Have been for the steak ciabatta twice now and it’s always very good. Caesar salad very nice even without being a fan of the bacon

After sitting outside in the beer garden it was obvious that the area hadn’t been today from the night before as there was cigarette butts on the floor along with several dog poo bags, which was obviously full and just left under the tables, the food service was very slow and the food wasn’t that good, however the only saving grace was the view from the beer garden, and in the evening of that day I was left with stomach pain and severe sweating, I can’t say it was the food that caused this, however that was the only meal I had that day.

We come here every weekend! Absolutely fantastic food and atmosphere. Couldn’t recommend this place enough.

A lovely local, with amazing bar staff!! Really cant fault the place. The blonde lady leanne /leanna is such a nice welcoming lady...nothing is ever too much, and service always with such a lovely smile. Ps the salt and pepper chips are gorgeous!!

Coffee machine turned off at 9 o'clock with no notice. We booked for 7 o'clock so not exactly we have turned up last minute. Sorry that is poor!
