This man and gelato place is tight, resting on its reputation. Small portion sizes, high prices. I bought my girlfriend a £8 ice cream and then wouldn’t let me try any flavours. Goodbye. Way to lose a long term customer. I used to send people here. No more.

Was hoping to treet my family to some really nice ice cream. It was good but not exceptional. Very expensive and the portions were tiny. They scrap the ice cream onto the inside of the pot to make it appear you are getting more. Nice try! The service could be more friendlier. The lady serving me looked like she rather be elsewhere. A place I will not be returning to.

"Simply the Best; Better than All the Rest" sings Tina Turner. Well, she would be singing that loudly out the front of Prime Gelato because that is the truth. The Gelato here is the best we tasted anywhere and we came a long way to get it. All the way from Australia. Pity there isn't a shop around the corner here, because it is divine. There are Vegan options too, which was really pleasing. I had Pistachio and Coffee. YUM Couldn't recommend this place higher. Come, Eat and be Happy.

Every visit to Prime Gelato is a treat. We've been going for 5 years now and it is still our favourite for desserts, gelato and for made-to-order cakes. I'm a fan of the more dessert type flavours and my other orders more fruity flavours. They deliver both excellently. They have a great understanding of flavour, and the flavours are always fresh, not overly sweet. It's a small business, and they put in long hours to deliver the best gelato you'll ever taste. Some days the staff are understandably tired, but if they're always willing to serve. On this occasion I had the vegan chocolate and the vegan salted caramel ... Both flavours were rich and creamy, and the consistency excellent. For us, Prime Gelato is a year round treat, but you'd definitely do well to visit them in the hot weather.

Sans atteindre l’expérience des glaciers en Italie, ce commerce a des parfums de qualité (j’avais testé fraise et citron) et les coupes sont plutôt généreuses, même si le prix est un peu élevé.

As an Italian person I can say it's good gelato on average. Strawberry and Mango were ok and quite refreshing. We didn't like salted caramel though, that was way too bitter to our taste, to the point we asked if maybe it was gone bad. We were told that it is because they don't use additives and the natural flavour of caramel has a bitter aftertaste. I personally disagree with that, but maybe that's how people like it in London.

Saw the good reviews on google and was near by so thought I’d give it a go. When we walking we wasn’t greeted at all, the woman walked out from the back and just looked at us. I said hello and then she said hello back. I asked her what flavours she had and she just pointed at the counter in front of me. She looked miserable. I chose my three flavours paid, she barely said two words to me. The ice cream however was very nice but I will never step foot in that shop again because of the bad service.

Unquestionably the best ice cream in London. Beautiful gelato transports you to Italy. Also an excellent vegan selection as well. Highly recommend the coconut (for non-vegans) or pistachio (vegan and non-vegan versions available - I prefer the vegan). There are roadworks nearby which are currently reducing footfall to this place. Do show your support so that London’s best ice cream joint can continue!

The smoothest, creamiest, tastiest ice cream I have ever had! Such a rich flavour - the chocolate has such a good flavour showing the signs of a proper, carefully homemade ice cream. Definitely coming back!

Very good gelato. Excellent selection of at least 10 vegan (dairy free) flavours, more than anywhere else I know in the area. Smooth and creamy chocolate not intense enough for my taste. An unusual lychee flavour more interesting. I don’t think it is the best in the area but it is certainly very good. The location to the north of Covent Garden (Bloomsbury really) may be more peaceful when they finish the area improvement but a lot of traffic at the moment. Take your ice cream to the Phoenix Garden round the corner and eat it quietly there!

We visit so often, I forget to review. Prime Gelato is consistently brilliant, and their staff are always friendly and helpful. They've operated throughout the pandemic, always had safe measures in place, and have provided us with delicious gelato, fridge cakes and warm desserts over the last year. Prime Gelato is, in my opinion, not only the best desert shop for vegans, but the best dessert shop in London.

Title says it all. Lovely to see they've come through the pandemic. Get down and enjoy the best ice cream in London.
