Prezzo in Fenland

Absolutely awful waited over an hour for what best can be described as mediocre food. When complained to the manager told " well we are very busy" well it is a Saturday night we had booked so surely you know how many covers you are doing. Had the calezone which was more pizza than filling tepid and a limp and un imaginative salad drinks extortionate. Very loud Manageress appalling attitude all in all will not recommend and will never go again.

Pasta is overcooked and soggy, barely warm. The fries are pathetic both in portion size and attempt at cooking them. Vile on every level and I will not be washing my money here again.

The staff are very attentive and friendly but the food was a cheap version of what piezo used to be. The pizza was dry and hard with minimal topping and cheese, we found it inedible anc even after we changed it there was no difference . I have had better supermarket pizza. The Caesar salad was lettuce cucumber and chicken with minimal Caesar dressing no cheese shavings just dry and tasteless A pricey meal for what was served. I won’t return.

We called and asked if we could come earlier than we had booked and were accommodated straight away. Which was lovely because when we got there they were already busy. We choose the festive menu which even included discounted priced cocktails! Food was tasty and hot. Service was excellent. For a chain restaurant you have excelled. Good service and choice, despite being next to Tesco there was a good comfortable atmostphere. Hot chocolate needs more chocolate but all food was good and not over expensive.

Its right next to the Light Cinema. The combination of a great film and a lovely meal out is perfect. Food was the best I have ever had there, great choice, great taste, staff welcoming and great to talk to. Service very good and a great choice of drinks.

Although the staff were very friendly, unfortunately we will not be returning. The food was delivered quickly but was warm at the top and a little bit warmer at the bottom of the dish. As for the cocktail they must have thrown the vodka from a great height. The so called new Spritz is not worth the £10 it tastes like fruit juice, and the can looked like it was one you buy in Tesco at 3 for £2.00.

sadly can't put 0 stars Me and my friends wanted to go to what seemed to be the only good restaurant in Wisbech. But all I can say is avoid at all costs! We wanted to book online but it said they dont accept bookings after half 6. But we had a busy day of activities in Wisbech so arrived at 8:45pm 45 mins before closing time. From the moment we walked in there was no atmosphere at all the restaurant looked well maintained clean and appealing but the staff made it simply awkward. We walked in and there was no smiley faces welcoming us. There was a girl behind the bar who looked at her watch and seemed displeased to have business. Eventually someone came over and showed us to a table. From the second we sat down we were bombarded and felt rushed into ordering. Can't fault the timings on food though starters were out within 10 mins and mains straight after. The food was pretty good can't fault it. During our meal 2 people walked into the restaurant and started harassing us. The staff didn't come over at anytime to ask them if they wanted a table and simply let them walk in, roam the restaurant and disturb us while we were eating. One of my friends is big fan of Tomato Ketchup and made the staff member ensure us that ketchup was coming. But a 30 second task of getting ketchup turned into 10 minutes, having to be reminded twice. The staff was no busy at all, they only had one other table but was not attentive at all and didnt have anything else to do than build good rapport with us. They tried to push us into ordering desert but we declined. Once we finished eating they wasted no time at all in whipping up our plates but never came over with the bill. After sitting for about 10 minutes we decided to go up to the bar to pay. When they were ready to take payment they rushed us into it and stuck a card machine in our faces. Food was pretty good but all staff need retraining and put a smile on their faces. If this is how they train their staff I can only believe this is why so many Prezzo sites have shut.

Quite busy but very noisy. The kitchen is very noisy and some of the bar staff drop empty bottles into the recycling container adding to the overwhelming noise. Coupled with dirty cutlery it really doesn't leave one with a desire to return.

We decided to book a table to eat dinner after the film we were about to see at the cinema. Good job we booked as well because for a Tuesday evening the restaurant was fairly busy! When I booked in person I requested a booth in the centre of the restaurant although on arrival we were seated at a 4 person table in front of the pizza kitchen and pizza oven which was interesting to see. Retrospectively we were more than satisfied with our table. The waiter sat us down. He didn’t say anything was off the menu or really say much about the menu but did ask if we had eaten before at Prezzo, which we all had. We ordered our drinks with another waitress which were delivered very fast. We ordered our food with the waiter who sat us. He stumbled a bit when we asked about garlic bread. But did suggest we had the sharing one which they could do without the onions so it would be like the individual one. It would be nice if Prezzo had a sharing garlic bread side option. Now our mains came out very fast. The speed whilst on the face of it was brilliant. However, in some way being tooo fast with food delivery kind of devalues the whole meal (in my opinion). A delay of even another 5 minutes would have been perfectly acceptable and prevents someone thinking that the food is literally chucked together or was already to go. The speed at which our food was delivered in, sadly was evident with our garlic bread side as it was doughy in nature and would have benefited from an extra minute or two in the oven. A check back was done by asking us how everything was with our food (open ended brilliant)? Desserts were ordered again with another server - I was impressed that she came back with an extra spoon proactively anticipating that the person who didn’t order dessert may want to try mine or the other persons. For their coffee it came with both sugar and sweetener which I thought was very good to think about as too often you have to ask someone for sweetener. The sundaes we had weren’t sundaes as not in a glass but omg the chocolate ice cream was incredible, not a single grain of ice throughout it was just so smooth and luxurious!! The dish needed more cherries personally and could definitely have been made more grown up with something such as Lazzaroni Amaretto Amarena cherries :p Overall great service and satisfactory food. Other staff such as kitchen and bar needed to smile and team as a whole could have been a bit more animated as the joy of being there was certainly lacking in most of them. The spaghetti Bolognaise dish pasta to sauce ratio was heavily swung towards the pasta end and needed more sauce - it honestly looked pretty boring and really no different than could be made at home. Whilst understanding its classic nature I do personally feel the presentation could be improved.

Not bad food , not sure why it’s still card only after Covid it’s a bit inconvenient for some. But overall enjoyed it

Quite a few eating places are closed on Mondays so we ended up going to Prezzo and it was fine. We just had garlic bread and olives to start with, and two had prawn risotto, one the ragu and I had the crab and lobster ravioli which was pleasant but a bit difficult to discern the crab and lobster. However Prezzos always seems a safe bet for something to eat.

Of the various Prezzo locations I've visited, this particular one stands out as my favourite. The restaurant's seating and overall design were both stylish and inviting. The well-thought-out layout contributed to a pleasant and relaxing atmosphere. This Prezzo location exceeded my expectations and has become my go-to spot. Food was of a high standards and met my expectations.

Visited here for a quick treat and had some Tesco points to use up. We do find Prezzo extremely expensive if just ordering off the normal menu but they always seem to have good deals on (which can't be used with the Tesco points). Nice clean restaurant with quick good service and food was all well cooked. Nice pizzas from the open fire oven which could see from our table. Worth a visit when the deals are on.

Myself and my partner fancied a different takeaway so thought we had never tried prezzo ... when getting our order home we needed a magnifying glass to see the portion of chips which cost £4 so you would expect a decent portion sadly not I'm gluten free myself so i was excited to have a few options to choose from but i was sadly disappointed my garlic bread was hard and i couldnt taste any garlic also the pasta and meatballs i could of made myself at home and didnt feel like it was worth the money i paid sadly i wont be returning

Visited today to take advantage of September deals. Food and service excellent and deal choice good. Covid guidelines in place with one way system and Sanitizer on entry. My only observation is that serving staff should be wearing face masks as close contact with customers.

We went a few weeks ago and experienced a very pleasant evening, food was good, well cooked, service was great, we went away very happy! Saturday 22nd February 2020 was awful! Staff were rushed off their feet, restaurant was full, it being half term! Food was disgusting, my partners calamari was the size of julienne vegetables plus the batter coating, so basically hardly any calamari! Were they running out? My starter was just okay! Both our mains were dreadful! Mine, pasta arrabiata ( meaning 'angry' or spicy) was like a warm sweet bowl of gunge, my partner's pizza was very similar! Okay the restaurant was full but I don't want to pay for just anything chucked into a bowl, passed off as an authentic Italian dish! All credit to the front of house staff who managed to stay calm, helpful, pleasant, after a barrage of complaints from unhappy customers!

My wife and I took the kids here after the cinema, it was that bad that not one meal got finished and only two meals got past 50% finished. My children even asked us to please not take them back. My wife had the salmon and and was enjoying it until she realised that it hadn’t been deboned properly when a bone pierced her gum. Two of the pasta dishes were not much more than warm (we noticed that this was obviously due to the fact that the pasta is not cooked fresh, so a sauce is added to a frying pan then some cold pasta from a tub put in, the the two are mixed up over heat then served. Obviously they are not too concerned with the core temperatures reaching the 75 deg Mark), my youngest son had three forkfuls of his spag Bol before refusing to eat any more, he said he didn’t like it and when I tasted it, it tasted oily and from a tin. Another meal was once again just over warm. When I complained I was offered two free deserts, 4 were ordered and only 2 eaten as the brownies were so hard that the youngest two couldn’t eat it.The toilets are lacking a very good clean along with some much needed repairs/maintenance.My first time at this specific Prezzo but definitely the last time I every step foot into one again.

Staff were very accommodating as we had family come in 10 minutes later and they allowed us to move to be able to sit together.Food was ordered and was very flavoursome when it arrived. Had booked table 2 days earlier, shown straight to the table on arrival, given menu, and time to look, l asked for Prawn and Salmon Risotto without the salmon, it came as l requested, with a few extra prawns to take the place of the salmon. Server very polite, and cheerful, food not on arrival

We booked 3 vouchers when prezzo was offering 3 course meal and drink for 2, at £20. One was a gift, the other 2 was for us. We booked online entering our code. On arrival she said she needed a different code not the one on our first email, the issue is they dont put reference numbers on it so its hard which code relates to which purchase. Very confusing and this is all before sitting down and relaxing. We sorted it eventually but why not ask for both codes when booking, or actually why even have 2 different codes for 1 meal just confuses everything. They also asked us what voucher we bought as she didnt know what menu to give us, surely the code on booking should have given you this information? After this issue, the meal itself was lovely. The food was really nice although the garlic bread was a little bit dry. Desert wise id love if they would put a chocolate brownie on the menu.

We go to Prezzos relatively often but we went this week and it was the best we’ve had for some time. Everything was fresh, hot, tasty and it was really busy. Staff are always good so that’s never been a problem but they were spot on too. Wisbech is lucky to have Prezzo so we need to use it, and the experience we had was a very positive one.

We ( group of 4 ) arranged to go to Prezzo before the cinema. Watched the gentlemen @ the light! Really recommend that film! First of we had to wait ages until someone came to take our orders. We hadn’t even had the opportunity to put in a drinks order. When someone finally came we ordered everything at the same time. A while later our drinks arrived, not all we asked for, the pitcher of Water we asked for never materialised. We had to ask for that again when our food arrived. We ordered from the special set menu. The starter and mains were ok. But our friend found a bone in her chicken pasta dish. Which really shouldn’t happen now should it. But the worst of the meal was that two of us ordered the cheesecake for afters and it did not smell or taste right! We assume it had been out of refrigeration for too long. After much prompting and mentioning to two different members of staff the manager did agree to take the cheesecakes and the one chicken pasta dish off the bill. Which was very much appreciated.All in all the starters were nice, my pizza was nice, but my friends chicken pasta dish was nice until she bit on the chicken bone. But the cheesecakes were a bitter disappointment! I don’t know what it was, they either were too stressed out, not enough staff, not the right staff, but the service wasn’t the best either. Very disappointing. Only given it 3 stars because the management did put things right that went wrong!

Precooked on New Year’s Eve before going to the cinema. Fast efficient service with friendly staff who were clearly very busy. Excellent food and an enjoyable experience all round.

We visited Prezzo Wisbech last night Friday before going to see a film with my daughter and granddaughters we ordered various dishes by polite staff when the food was served one dish was a pizza had no cheese only sauce as if cheese had been forgotten risotto was a fish one with hardly any fish , I had a chicken penne pasta which was cold not once did a member of staff inquire if the food was served ok after my daughter complained we were given a discount we only really wanted edible food and to pay a fair price it will be a while before we try Prezzo again

A rare day off for both myself and my partner so we were out to treat little'un to Frozen 2.

A meal out with friends, having been to this restaurant previously and always had an excellent meal, we were expecting the same, what a disappointment, a lot of the meals on the menu were not available, including Lasagne and Salmon, both basics I would have thought!!! However. We ordered our meals but didn’t quite expect the very long wait, and we were unable to have any sort of conversation because of the background noise of. crashing plates and other noises from the kitchen.

An annual dinner with a group of friends, have eaten at this restaurant in the past we we’re all looking forward to our usual excellent meal.

This Prezzo is next to the Light Cinema, it’s very modern. Went with my daughter the three course meal we had was lovely. Loved the humus and flat bread starter. The staff were friendly and attentive. All round a good experience

Used 5 times no problems, waitresses fine. Food rubbish hot drink wrong, then starter turned up burnt, new meatball menu awful had a identity crisis, no meatball sliced of something, at least 8 slices of chilli just all wrong, not really interested when you told them and charged for the privilege. So in all ordered 6 items and 3 wrong. Will not be going again.

We had a wonderful meal at Prezzo for my birthday. I presented my coupon code for a lovely bottle of chilled Prosecco on the house. My wife had the sea bass with a side of garlic bread. Also, my stepdaughter had the oak-smoked salmon penne which she had extra spicy. I had the new addition to the menu, La Milano, an extra large pizza with prosciutto ham and the usual suspects. Everything was presented in an appealing manner by very friendly staff. Food was brought to the table quickly and at the same time so we were delighted by the service and food quality. There was a good selection of starters, main courses and desserts but this was enough for us. As always, good value for money and we won’t hesitate to return soon.

We dropped into Prezzo after the cinema early evening and found the food to be extremely good and reasonably priced. It was nice, authentic Italian food. The staff were attentive without being intrusive. We’ll definitely go again.

Good menu and food which we all enjoyed. Easy to get to and the restaurant is well set out and clean.

Been to this restaurant before and knew the service could be slow. We arrived and were seated, then twenty minutes later, several other groups arrived and were served first. We were left sitting and waiting with not even a drink so left. Poor service skills and will not return to this restaurant.

This Prezzo is in a modern building close to the Light cinema and a Tesco Extra. We visited at lunchtime for starters, salad and sparkling water. The starters were fine but the side mixed salad bore no resemblance to that pictured on the Prezzo site, missing tomatoes, peppers and red onions and gaining just a few pieces of thinly sliced radish and a few slivers of raw carrot. Really a bit disappointing.

Visited Prezzo before an evening at the flicks-we wish we hadn't.. Ordered a bottle of sparkling water, which came and the bottle was actually warm. Explained this to the waitress at which she replied "thats why I've brought you a glass with ice in". She took the bottle away and said if I could wait 5-10 minutes then would bring a cold one. I never received another drink. The food was ok. The atmosphere was noisy and although there seemed a lot of staff it seemed chaotic. Wouldn't rush back. Expensive meal for what is served.

An impromptu visit with a friend brought disastrous results. Seating was prompt, but the service was extraordinarily slow. The gluten-free garlic bread when it did finally arrive consisted of a round disc, so hard that it could not be cut. My friend's burger was blackened on one side, otherwise moderately OK. The other main was not what was ordered; should have been king prawn on fusilli; a pepperoni pizza arrived: no use to a vegetarian. The sauce was not evenly applied, some was up the side of the serving dish - sloppy. Staff spent a lot of time fawning over a bouquet of flowers instead of attending to their customers. So many breakages of crockery that the profit for the day must have been lost. An experience never to be repeated.

A warm greeting on arrival, all staff very friendly and efficient. Food was nicely presented and tasted good. Tables are close together and gaps down the aisles small in some areas so could be tricky with a prim or buggy. Google maps does not take you anywhere near this restaurant. The restaurant is situated on the site of Tesco Extra so if you can’t find it look for Tesco instead.

Brilliant service from Ana and Ines. The sea food ravioli is amazing as a main and I can strongly recommend the Honeycomb smashed cheese cake as a dessert.

Prezzo is our favourite restaurant, but Prezzo in Wisbech is the best, as the food is always tasty and good size portions, service is excellent and staff as always friendly and polite. Huge thanks to all for another magical experience. We are going back as soon as possible. Recommended!!!

Had a lovely (unplanned) visit to Prezzo with my two youngest age 3 and 5. We were well looked after by the staff, especially Emily. Food was prepared quickly and exactly as asked, the staff where kind to the kids even when they bounced about on the chairs a bit much ;-)

Ana, Emily, Ines, Cristiana, Carrie and all the other ladies that work there make Prezzos so good in Wisbech. They are so friendly, funny, make you feel welcome, just a pleasure to be there with my wife and kids. Top notch Prezzos, you have a great team there so look after them :o)

I went to Prezzos for my birthday, a first for me and on first impressions alone I was very impressed. I went there to celebrate my birthday and with the assistance of their wonderful waitress Ines, I had the best birthday meal I’ve had to date. I would highly reccomend it anyone, anyone who enjoys eating great food at least, and who’s that if not all of us! :)

Honestly one of my favourite places in the area to go, food never disappoints and for what you get the prices aren’t half bad, been half a dozen times and the service is never lacking, usually served by Ines or Emily and they’re always on their game! The place doesn’t disappoint:)

I came in a couple of days ago with my partner for lunch, I have never been disappointed with anything in this restaurant, the service is always quick and so welcoming! I had the King Prawn risotto which is one of my favourite dishes there, I have never had a problem with the food and is definitely worth a try if you fancy a lunch out. My wife and I decided to grab a meal before the pictures which is next door. However, whilst the staff were friendly and the food was hot and flavoursome the service was slow and it took an age for the post meal coffee and payment of the bill.

Had nice meal but noticed less choices on the menu now. Between our group of 5 we had Tesco vouchers, Prosecco birthday offer & discount deal downloaded but it is frustrating that you can only use 1 voucher per table

We booked at this restaurant to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary with our family, trying to get us all together on the very rare occasions its possible to do so. We booked 6 people and advised we would be using the 50% off mains voucher and asked for a booth (well in advance) All my family would attend except my son his wife and their 2 children 1yr and 3yr old, on the Sunday afternoon my son telephoned and said they will be able to get there for around 4.30pm so we rang wisbech and they said yes thats fine. Upon arriving at the restaurant we were shown to our seats which was a normal 6 seat table with another one stuck on the end, so we had 4 adult chairs each side along 3 single tables and 1 on each end ?. Anyway we was going to pay with the 50% but my son wanted to pay just for his family separately but use a Tesco voucher and was quite clearly told, after speaking to her apparent supervisor, "THIS IS NOT ALLOWED" she said "why not" i asked and was told this is policy, so we said "so if they go and sit on their own on that table over there its ok" YES she replied ? WHY ?. This was already making this a bad decision to go to Prezzo as we could have gone anywhere else but chose Prezzo again, after having a bad experience over a year ago whilst finding bones in my chicken carbonara. We waited over an hour after seating to receive any of our food, and yes only warm otherwise it would have gone back !.

I’ve literally more-or-left lived at Wisbech Prezzo ever since it opened and never had a single issue with the establishment or staff, food is amazing and customers are always very well catered for. Much better than other Wisbech restaurants💓

Waited an hour and s half for our mains, watched people turn up and leave whilst waiting. Waited for 5 meals, 2 of which were burnt. We also had 2 meals that came with salads, which we sat looking at on the side for 45 minutes. Asked for a jug of tap water which didn’t come until we asked again after our food had finally arrived. Not happy with speed of service or quality.

We’ve had one bad meal and the number of times we’ve been to prezzo and it definitely was a one off.

cant fault the service or the food . one of my fav places to eat . you will defiantly be seeing us again in 2019.

Came here with my mum after some Xmas shopping. She loves the pizza here. Classic Italian food. I had the lasagne which the only thing that could’ve been better was if it was a little hotter rather than Luke warm towards the bottom. Fries are a little pricey and the wine but can’t really expect different...

Had a fantastic meal with great cocktails for a birthday meal, very quick and friendly service from Ana. Also a great place for gluten free options with a brilliant allergen menu for food intolerances. Prezzo is easily one of the best restaurants around in Wisbech!
