Prezzo in Leeds

Lovely food a little pricey especially the drinks I opted for the peach bellini gorgeous but £8 for the smallest measure ever seen!

Service was good with friendly staff. I mentioned that my meal wasn't very tasty and then the service seemed to decline a bit. Took ages to get the dessert menu and then one of the desserts was left for quite a while until we mentioned it to the waitress who brought it over. The rest of us had finished our desserts by then so that was a shame.

i wouldn’t recommend this restaurant… the drinks weren’t worth the price and they weren’t really good. the food took a long time to come and the large pizza wasn’t even large, it seemed the same size as the regular but rectangular. wasn’t full after the meal.

I've been an ever going Prezzo Diner ever since I came across it in The Light, Leeds City Centre nearly 10 years ago. Good had always been good but the quality and taste went down in past 4/6 months or so. Visited the White Rose Prezzo recently and to be honest it was not different to the one in Leeds City Centre. Service was Top Notch from The Staff, No Denying in That but The Food Was Not All That, It Just Lacked The Taste Which I Would Expect From Prezzo or an Italian Cuisine. Since Both Prezzos Food Quality was Blew on My Past 3 Visits to Both Leeds City & White Rose Branch. I Personally Feel That The Issue is With Management in The Hierarchy, Who are Happy to Compromise Over Quality of Food For God Knows What Reason. The Hospitality Sector is Already Struggling All Over UK So Please Don't Take a Risk Losing More Business, Just What I Thought.

It is the first time I have been to this Prezzo but I have been to a lot of others. As always the food was delicious (when the order was gotten right) the service from the person who sat me and took my order to the server who brought my meals however was completely substandard and not what I am used to. For the first time I was made to feel substandard by dinning on my own. The one saving grace was a young lady called May who is a credit to the establishment and I would like to say thank you to her or I would have left the restaurant very upset

Visited yesterday lunch time what an absolute joy the entire team made us feel welcomed like one of the family and Savannah especially made the day an excellent experience.

It's been many years since I last visited a Prezzo, and it'll be many more before I return. Some of the staff were really friendly, and the service was relatively quick, the food let's it down. The pizzas (a staple of àn Italian restaurant!) seriously lacked toppings! So much so, we sent one back. To their credit, the replacement was better. This is not a cheap place to eat, and they really shouldn't be cutting corners on something such as toppings (even more so when there's a Pizza Hut opposite). If you're fortunate to have a voucher for discounted eating, then you'll probably get value for money. If not, I'd avoid it! I am very disappointed and underwhelmed.

Ethan, our server, was great. He was very helpful with explaining the set menu, friendly, and nothing was too much trouble for him. I’ve knocked a star off because the manager sold my friend’s cake that he’d already ordered to another table, didn’t bother to tell us so the desserts were late then blamed Ethan for it. Other than that, we had a great time.

Met for a family meal on Saturday lunchtime. The restaurant was almost empty. I ordered a calzone which turned out to be more substance than taste. disappointing

Horrible food! Pizza was served hard and cold! Pasta lacks flavour. Even their dessert was awful! This is the second time we’ve been. First visit was not great but wanted to give them another go. Definitely won’t come back to Prezzo.

We booked as a treat one Sunday lunch in Feb as had some Tesco partner vouchers to use before. I booked online which was straightforward and the staff were friendly and helpful, although they were kept busy as the restaurant got busier into the early afternoon. The food was okay although a little bland and I would have been disappointed in the total bill if I hadn’t had voucher to put towards.

Service was decent and what you would expect from a restaurant. Place looked clean but when as my wife was about to sit down there was crumbs on the seat. The food was overpriced and mediocre at best. I had the calzone which was alright but the chicken was as bland as cardboard. The wife had the chicken and prosciutto focatia, the chicken was as above, had no seasoning and was dry, they had given 1 strip of prosciutto. We also ordered the calamari which for the 7 or 8 quid it was, were lacking in quality and quantity. Don't think we will return.

Was disappointed with the chicken prosciutto & sage saltimbocca that I ordered last night. The sauce had the flavour and consistency of the water the cabbage was broiled in. Lacked flavour and made my potato soggy. The sage was added as a garnish rather than being cooked in a sauce and there was quite a lot of it so it overpowered the rest of the dish. My friend had the Margherita pizza which she said was very nice. Service and atmosphere was excellent.

Food was ok, the atmosphere was lacking, just what you’d expect from a restaurant in a shopping centre I suppose.

Food was average. Salmon came out the tin. Not the usual fresh salmon this year. Food was served all cold temperature. Service was excellent just food let us down this time.

I don't typically leave reviews for chain restaurants, but I just wanted to shout out the lovely staff at this location. My family was well taken care of by lots of friendly and smiling faces. The food was lovely as well!

Overpriced, small portions , salad came with a calzone that's wrong made the pizza soggy ,were was my lovely tomato sauce over the top of the calzone , went home hungry disappointed 😞

Ordered a spaghetti bolognese and 2 children’s spaghetti bolognese. My 6 year old son had a bigger portion than me. Not only that, but it was the blandest I have ever tasted. I sent it back and asked for carbonara instead which was just as tasteless. Not creamy at all just watery. I refused to pay as it was rubbish! Would never ever return here again.

There's not much I can say positive about prezzo.... very thin tasteless pepperoni pizza for £14 was a bad start. We ate it because we were hungry but probably should have complained. We were on a table near the kitchen and the floor was a disgrace... dirty with rubbish on the floor that staff just walked through when passing through. It was very off putting. When the meal was finished there was no asking if we were happy or wanted anything else, so we went without even though we wanted coffee and dessert. After waiting 15 mins we got the bill, but only because we asked for it. Not good.

The service was fast, polite and friendly. The food was very very good! Drinks were lovely and my overall experience was extremely good. Thank you to Matthew, our waiter, for such nice friendly service. Will definitely return.

Good starter had garlic bread for 3 people. Pizza advertised as chicken and chargrilled pepper. To be honest, the pizza looked like I had cooked it at home, and a packet of cooked chicken from morrisons had been placed on top with raw peppers. Not good for £16

Overall Average food with below average service. Sat down and given drinks but no large beers only small. Took a while to take order for food even though was not even 6 tables full . Food arrived and was okay. At 15.99 a pizza you expect it to be worth it but was just average. Desserts didn't come out together. Asked for bill, no free kids meal deducted so asked waitress to amend and also blue light card. Waitress disappeared and never came back then other waitress appeared to be told we can't use blue light card with kids discount. By this time was just ready to leave so paid and left. Won't be returning. Plus don't take cash too

This restaurant used to be nice. It’s gone downhill. Portion sizes have drastically decreased (calzone was half the size it used to be) and the spaghetti bolognaise looked more like cottage pie mince meat/gravy and wasn’t nice. They also got our garlic bread order incorrect and we had to wait for another.

Had spinach and feta cannelloni, not very tasty not very filling. Unfortunately I have been on the toilet most of the evening. Would not recommend eating here

Came here a few weeks ago and had a great experience - our server was fantastic, she really went out of her way to make everything spot on, and all the food was really nice. Will definitely be back!

Not impressed with this place at all. When we arrived and I ordered water for myself and my granddaughter I was given ‘a look’ by the manager. Our grandchildren were eating off the kids menu but when we asked for orange cordial, we were given orange juice in a very small glass at £3.25, instead of the included one in the kids menu. My husband also ordered an alcohol free beer which was £6.25. The kids pizza was very hard (just a piece not a whole one as if it has just been reheated and not cooked from fresh and so spicey he couldn’t eat it. My Caesar salad was very ordinary and expensive at £14. The kids ate free as we had o2 Priority vouchers. And to be honest I would have been appalled at paying £70 for a less than average meal. The waitress however was lovely and very attentive.

Enjoyable experience food was good bit overpriced but tasty, staff were excellent 👌 nice inside you can see ur pizzas getting prepared and cooked.

Everything was perfect GF menus brilliant as was the normal one very good menu to choose from

Would've given 5 stars but this is first Italian I've been to where water isn't provided for free... apart from that, the food was fantastic with my 11 year old son even saying it was the best place he'd eaten at and the atmosphere was nice and relaxed

Went for a meal with my partner and was highly disappointed. The waitress we had I am guessing was a manager due to not being in the blue prezzo shirt. She had black hair but not sure of the name, she was rude and the service was not pleasant at all. I didn’t feel welcomed into the restaurant and it felt like she didn’t want us there due to being a later table and the restaurant being quiet. It was obvious to us that they were trying to close even though stated online they close for 9:30 and we dined around 8pm. Will not be returning

Over charged, asked for a part refund could not credit my card - asked for bank account details!!! In order to credit me. Pizza was so dry it was like eating cardboard, was a tre gusti (meat supreme) - I've had more meat in a £3 meal deal sandwich. Partner had lasagna which was very oily. A wine glass had lipstick on! Would not eat at this place again.

Not been before and won't be going again. Very expensive poor quality food. Pizza very little topping dough tomato sauce. Pasta nothing special very little chicken. The central unit room divider very dusty.

Poorly managed or severely understaffed, if this is the way Prezzo run their business' it's no wonder they are closing so many restaurants. Despite only being half full, the'manager' was turning customers away when we went tonight, he was resembling a headless chicken so either he can't do what is expected or they were short staffef. Despite reading the reviews we thought we'd give them the benefit of the doubt, the food was nice, but the lack of customer service very poor and then when it came to pay up, there was no itemised bill and the only options to tip were £10, £15 or £20! I tip well, but a minimum of 10% on rediculously poor service and a severely overpriced kids drink. The food was nice, the service, general ambiance and toilet condition, shockingly poor. Like I said if this is the level Prezzo sets it's standards this branch will be shutting soon.

Had date night with hubby and placed our order for the salmon pasta and the crab ravioli they both arrived together, my husband’s dish was a good portion definitely enough to feel full on where as mine was pitiful I counted 7 ravioli parcels with very little sauce, after finishing my meal I was still hungry so ended up sharing my husband’s meal, when we’re paying £18 for one dish you would expect to feel full! Unbelievably disappointing!

Visited one Saturday evening, the restaurant was really quiet for what you'd think would be peak time. Ordered garlic bread for starter which is a bit on the small size and 2 pizzas and a dessert to share. The pizzas are good but maybe not truly authentic Neapolitan as other pizza places.

Great environment, great atmosphere amazing food. Friendly staff I truly recommend this place. The price is a bit high however it is well worth as the food is excellent.

Went tonight for a tea with our two sons and had an amazing meal. One of the best meals out we have had in ages, food was fantastic and came out nice and quickly, the staff were friendly and helpful, we couldn't fault it and looking forward to visiting again soon

Nothing wrong apart from leaving hungry after a pasta dish and some fries. I ordered truffle fries and I don't think that's what I ended up with, but they were okay so I didn't complain.

First and last time. Oily, soggy and bland starters (bruschetta and fried mozarella). Followed by the most tasteless Margarita pizza and a chicken and roast peppers pizza that was ready for the bin as soon as it arrived. The chicken looked stale and they forgot to put the peppers on it. We managed one slice of each. Cocktails also overpriced and bland. Ice and lemonade mostly. Manager realised full plates returned and had a chat. Apologised and drinks given on the house. Staff are hard working and friendly service. £50 bill and we left hungry. Had to go to KFC straight in the food court.

Staying in Leeds on a Sunday, checked for rated places to eat and we are partial to a good Italian. Website states open until 21.30 and able to book online. Arrived in good time and 19.50 to find the restaurant empty but all lit up and told by the lady on the desk said they were closed already. We let the lady know the website was still accepting bookings and we could tell by the look on her face when she checked the computer that this was a clear faux pas on their part. Very disappointing experience.

We visited for Mother’s Day, it wasn’t my restaurant choice having never visited before. I ordered olives to start followed by a lasagne both were really nice. However, not worth the price. The restaurant itself reminds me of an al a Carte in an all inclusive resort. The toilets were filthy and out of three I went in, only one had toilet roll. The staff were really lovely but there wasn’t many around and it took a long time to order, receive food and pay. We had been there an hour before getting our mains meal. Would I go again? Not by choice. I’d rather go to a small independent restaurant.

The staff are very friendly, restaurant looks clean and nice however the food is tasteless and very cheap ingredients for the price you pay, kids meals was fine portion and taste ok, we ordered a few starters and mains and kids meal and it was by far the worse Italian food I ever tasted. Overpriced food. Avoid I will never go there again. First time and last for sure.

The service was very slow and poor. We waited over 30 minutes for our main course and when the sea bass arrived it was very overcooked and dry. The drinks also ook forever to arrive. Would not recommend at all go elsewhere..

Saturday lunch - relaxed and reasonably priced After an hours shopping chose to dine here Was seated very quickly and servers were attentive Chose the Posh pepperoni and a side salad together with tap water and a americano The lady on the next table sat on me by accident no apology and shuffled in the seat - I was slightly amused Food arrived with drinks Coffee cold - yuk Pizza delicious too much for me I enjoyed it all the same and the salad can dripping with oil - so next time I’ll ask for no oil (marked down one star for this) They knocked the prices of the coffee from the bill which came up (£20.95) which I thought was reasonable Will I be back - yes If someone sits on me next time I’ll let out an almighty squeal

Very poor choice of dishes here. Used to be a lot better. Massive space but tables huddled together in rows. No ambience. Hideous modern music drowning out conversation. Not special. Not a great experience. Not to be repeated. Don't waste your hard earned money here. Go to Aldi and buy a better pizza there instead and eat at home. 😳

I can confirm we visited Prezzo recently close to the Valentines period. The restaurant has a nice comfortable look, the staff at least in our experience were friendly and helpful. The pictures attached are the Calamari, Lasagne and Cheesecake. We also had the Crispy Fried Mozzarella and Spaghetti Carbonara, which are not viewed in these pictures. In respect to the food quality I would say above average. The only point I would make is there was a long waiting gap between the main course and dessert. I would also say Prezzo would benefit from a slightly more diverse menu.

Another 20 minutes and no food arrived so we asked again at which point the manager checked with the chef and turned out they had not even started cooking our food yet. It had been over 1 hour already and we have two kids screaming with hunger after waiting for over an hour and when asked the manager for some explanation of what had happened he simply said I don’t know and walked off. At this point we decided to leave the restaurant I won’t be back or recommend.

Came for afternoon lunch. Lovely good quality food, quick enough service, clean restaurant. Will come back. Found it to be cold in the restaurant and prices are a little high for what you get.

We were around half way through our shopping and decided to try this place for a quick bite to eat before heading back in. Bad mistake 😞 This place would win hands down for being slow and definitely a lack of interest by all the staff on serving customers. I sat down and ordered a latte Might have been better if I had bought one from a coffee outlet. I could have walked into White rose and bought it and brought it back and drank it before getting one here. I ordered a spaghetti bolognese which took nearly an hour to serve Served on a plate straight out of the freezer 😞 it was so cold ❄️ I was expecting a good portion especially at this price. Not sure if they had run out of beef and sauce. They definitely need a new chef as this meal was so tasteless and bland. No cheese or pepper was offered 😣 I asked for a second latte which took 40 minutes to make. They had run out of most of the deserts and even this took ages to arrive. The decor is looking tired Now I know why it was quiet in comparison to other restaurants Definitely a 1 star. I don't like giving bad reviews. There was nothing I could say that was good .

Typical Prezzo food, but the staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful.

Food was delicious, however we waited 45 minutes for mains, and there was a long delay between our parties food. One pudding was served while still frozen and another was delayed. We had mains and puddings and the entire lunch experience took over 2 hours due to low staffing and pretty poor table service.
