Praveen Kumar - Authentic Indian Cuisine in Perth & Kinross

Ive just experienced the chicken madras and it was the best frozen curry ive had ! . It was a resturant size portion for half the price . A thick sauce full of flavour and a kick not a thin gravy type sauce , the chicken was not dry as it normally is . Overall it felt like a takeaway from the local not something i got from the co op .. 5 stars from me

First tasted Praveen’s food (chicken curry & basmati rise) at Perth farmer’s market, probably about 10 years ago. It was unlike any curry I had had before; really fragrant and flavoursome. Since then I have enjoyed many of his frozen meals and they never cease to delight. A truly remarkable chef and man👍

One of the best curries I’ve had

Had my first curry from Paveen Kumar today and wow, tasted incredible packed with flavour! They have Have a good range also. Highly recommend.

Game changer 👌 We bought Chicken Madras, Pilau Rice and naan bread it was one of the best flash frozen cuisine we have tasted in a long time. Our Adsa has a great selection of your curries. Try for yourself ours was delicious 😋

I just had the buttered chicken . I enjoyed it . I could taste the ingredients as opposed to that basic one flavour you would get from larger brands . It was a good wholesome microwave meal . I would recommend if you wanted a good solid meal in the freezer .

Purchased 2 frozen curries from Asda Dunbar. Chicken Madras and Chicken Rogan Josh. Both my husband and I were very disappointed. We were expecting something very tasty for the price of these curries but unfortunately they lacked so much flavour, it was very very bland. Definitely won't be trying anymore of these

Purchased two frozen Praveen Curries from Glendoick Garden Centre. Both were bland with no flavour worth mentioning. Severe lack of meat, approximately 3 - 4 pieces. Not worth the money. M&S curries better value.

I got a couple of frozen food items for my son and his family some time ago, but I forgot to write a review. They absolutely loved the tasty food and they were satisfied with the quality and also the quantity. The packaging was very professional and they couldn't fault anything. Sorry for the late review. Some of the food was horrendous ! Especially the biryanis , big bits of bone to break your teeth ! I honestly don’t know how they get away with it !

Purchased one of Parveenkumar ready meals and it leaked in fridge whilst defrosting. Noticed that the packaging was loose and the curry sauce was pouring out. Unbelievably amateurish packaging. I have never experienced such incompetent food carton design before. This is obviously a way to save money but is completely unacceptable. Will not buy again.

No better than a microwave meal. The lamb was gamey and the sauce lacked any real flavour. Pakoras were ok. Needs a bit more detail to the gravy and the pre cook of lamb needs more flavour to take away the gaminess. Maybe it's mass produced which is a shame

Great service from Graham and great selection of meals and accompaniments. Having used Tabla we know the food will be first class. Great way to fill the freezer.

We absolutely love these curries - living in the middle of nowhere we have no access to decent takeaways so this is perfect for us! Authentic, good value and fantastic food (be sure to try the Haggis Bonda!)

Excellent frozen Indian food delivered to your home.

The taste of the food offered in the meal boxes is brilliant but the quantity could have been more. It's too less to even suffice for one meal.

I'm not sure how it could be improved, I think the issue is that it's still kind of mass produced and frozen. it's better than a supermarket curry but the spice doesn't really taste as of it's penetrated the meat. Best of the bunch was the homestyle railway lamb, the other curries were very pedestrian. if you want something handy in the freezer for a quick meal, it's ok but don't expect it to be as good as a decent local takeaway. The price works out about the same so I don't think I'd bother again

My first order was received nicely packed, the food was delicious, meat was nice and tender, I enjoied eating every bite. It was a bit pricy but well worth paying the extra for quality meal. I have no hesitation to raccomand Kumar to family and friends or any one. Well done Kumar

I have just eaten the best Prawn Korma - ever- Usually when you buy from a takeaway prawns are not usually in huge amounts, unlike the one from this lovely"takeaway", it was stuffed with prawns and the taste, oh my word. I have had several meals from this Company, and there will be more, all have been delicious, and even ones I wouldn't normally taste, like Tarka Dhal, but I loved it, thank you so much to the Kumar family for your super food.Oh I nearly forgot Peshwari Naan to die for.

Lovely meals and great value. Tasty dishes, fluffy rice, eco-friendly packaging. We ordered two boxes that arrived in the south of England fully frozen. A real lockdown treat!

Great service. I got my curries on the day and frozen. I've tried a few different ones now and they are all delicious. Good spice levels, tender meat and no nasty ingredients. Well done! Love it.. Will be back for more.
