Just had 2 pizzas and garlic mayo, was lush as usual,excellent service, well done all.

About 12years ago I would order porky’s religiously every week, moved away and haven’t had one since until tonight. DELICIOUS tastes just like how I remembered! Best pizza in South Wales! The staff are lovely & the wait time was perfect! Couldn’t recommend enough.

Never ordered from porky's and I never will again, onion rings were soggy and undercooked, chips were hard from being oven cooked and garlic bread could of done with another 5 minutes in the oven, pizza was cold and tasteless. Overall money wasted and a very bad takeaway experience. Never again

Such a delicious pizza. BBQ chicken wings are my favorite. The delivery driver needs to handle the pizza a bit careful before delivering.

Averaged! Tasted like a £3 pizza you buy from a supermarket and cook at home and there was hardly any toppings Staff lacked customer service skills although the drivers waiting for orders where helpfull

Hopeless, tried phoning for a delivery, was on and off the phone an hour. When I rung it was engaged and busy, then when not engaged no one could be bothered to answer despite once waiting at least five minutes. In the end gave up and went out and bought a supermarket pizza and put in oven. Will not use these again!

Absolutely amazing!! Ordered our pizza and sides on a Saturday evening, and still got it here in 18mins. Hot, fresh and flavorful 😋 Thank you Porkies ❤️

A keystone of pontypool takeaways. Freshly baked pizzas , well priced , if you haven't had a pizza from here you should , knocks spots of the bigger competitors. Also they have a good range of sides as well , highly recommend this place.

Ordered around 7 and was told the order would be with us withing the hour, which was fine. 1hr 15 later i called to chase up the order, i was told the order had just left and would be with us within 5 minutes (we live just up the road) another 15 minutes pass's, i then called and cancelled the order. Not the first time this has happened! The first time this happened i gave the benifit of the doubt even though by the time the food arrivesd it was freezing and crazy overpriced for the quality we revieved. They say support local yet i wouldn't of revieved this service from pizza hut or domino's. If you can't cope with the orders you've recieved then don't take anymore and concerntrate giving good quality and service to the customers you have!

We haven't used this business since 1994 as the food was barely warm and the pizza itself sweaty and limp with moisture. We decided this evening to try again as it must have got better since then....guess what. NO IT HASN'T !!!!! A 2 + hour wait on delivery, barely warm, sweaty pizza and sides. Bye Bye Porkies

Good pizza with generous toppings

Last night, I had Porky's pizza for the first time in my life & I don't regret it! The meat feast pizza was loaded with toppings, the fries were cooked to perfection & overall, everything was better than I expected! Definitely ordering again in the near future!

Used to love getting a pizza from here. Never again. Took an hour and a half for a collection order! We were told an hour.. fine, but then sat outside the shop for a further 30 minutes waiting. Absolutely ridiculous. Got home and all 3 pizzas were dry and cold. That was the last

We travel to Porky’s a couple of times a month...Wouldn’t eat Pizza from anywhere else. Porky’s beats any other pizza place I’ve eaten from.

Finally managed to order from here after two months of hearing brilliant things. The delivery time was communicated well, the food turned up right on time and the driver was friendly. We had the garlic baguette, onion rings, chicken wings and the Porky's Special between two of us. The garlic bread was excellent which says a lot considering how particular I can be about it. Straight into my top three in the area. The onion rings were lovely and the chicken wings were as good as we've had them but unfortunately that's where our very high praise ends. The pizza was alright, not as incredible as we were expecting which was a bit of a disappointment. The flavours and toppings could have been stronger while hot but it was much better and the flavours came out more the next day when it had been in the fridge overnight. Saying that though, we understand why it has the reputation it has. They've been there for 33 years for a reason and for the sides alone, you should place an order. This order will be an one-off for us because the ordering process is a bit of a pain and the opening hours aren't a good fit for us but definitely give them a try regardless.

A surprising gem of a find in Pontypool. Not the cheapest on paper but by the quality of the pizza it's a bargain. After a 6 hour hike through the Breacon Beacons I couldn't finish a large pizza and I was starving!

We waited for over two hours for our delivery not good ,we shall use domino's pizza next time. Ps we have used porkys Pizzas for many years but we have never had this bad service before. Never again

Always loved Porky's Pizzeria but 2nite it was poor. Both pizzas wer burnt and just didn't taste good. Garlic bread was black so they put another 1 in for free, just as well ! Don't think we will bother again.

Great food, being as this is my last night in area I thought I’d treat me and the other half to another one of their pizzas. However, been trying for the best part of an hour now to place an order, caller busy! It’s almost as though someone is either ordering the ENTIRE menu x5000 or someone is having a really loooooooooong chat. Lost interest

First Time going. Couldn't get through on phone after trying for a while, ended up going in person. Just saying, why is the pepperoni spicy 🤣🤣 completely ruined it.

I had this pizzeria recommended to me by a local girl. Coming from Cardiff and having more choice, I didn’t fully trust her judgement on what constitutes good pizza. However, happy to report that the pizzas me and my partner received were absolutely gorgeous. Thick with toppings. Perfectly cooked. We had one Garlic Chicken and a custom build. Only one issue I would comment on was that the lady who answered the phone was very quick to state that they didn’t have any large pizzas available. As it turned out, the two nine inch pizzas we ordered, plus 4 sides was more than enough. All of this cost less than £20. Excellent value.

Porky’s Pizza is a legend of Pontypool. And rightly so! Pontypool without Porky’s is like Ant without Dec. Whenever I have ordered, I have been very pleased with what has been received. They are always upfront with how long it may take for food to be delivered, and it is very rarely late, if at all. I ring so often they’ve recognised my voice and know my address! 😅 Great food, great service.

Staying nearby and had one of these delivered to our hotel. Excellant quality and a great price. Wish we lived closer to be honest!

Porkies over the years has been great but for the last few years it's a bit up and down. it's either really nice or horrible. I think most of the topping are from frozen at least they taste like they are and are not really good quality toppings like they use to be it seems like they buy iceland or farmfoods cheap frozen products for toppings. The base and sauce how ever always seem fresh

used on a fairly regular basis, loads of choice, and they will personalise your pizza too, always very helpful, as said before speedy delivery and piping hot food good value for money

have tuna baguettes most Fridays, brill. also chicken tikka, chicken and bacon plus wraps as well, pizzas to die for, the girls are so friendly and obliging, cannot fault it. Thanks guys.

Es sin duda mi cerdito ir a lugar para pizza para llevar. No hay mejor lugar para comer pizza en esta zona, en mi opinión. Tiempos de entrega son normalmente alrededor de la marca de hora, pero obviamente he comido entregado antes o después de lo esperado en los períodos más tranquilos y más concurrido, lo que no me importa. Cuando la comida es recibido normalmente es caliente, y el orden ha sido siempre en el clavo. He ordenado desde aquí ahora por más de 15 años y siempre haciéndolo. ps. El festín de carne es mi elección cada vez! !

A previous review states that Porky's is the best pizza in Pontypool.....I disagree. In my opinion it is the best Pizzaria in S E Wales (and possibly further afield) and has been for many years. Consistently excellent.

We love the Pizza's from here, much better than the big chains and the prices reflect the fact your buying a pizza not caviar that was once mint to be eaten off Marilyn Monroe's best bits! The toppings are prep'd on sight as well as the dough. We had lived in Pontypool for 13years before given it a go and regretted not trying it earlier. I have also tried their lunch time subs and they to are delicious and far superior to any £3 meal deal. I would have given it 5stars but the pizzas tend to be better on the weekend but maybe that has to do with how busy the ovens are or something. However that's not to say they ain't good pizzas in the week! Highly recommended 👍🏻

Nowhere beats a porky's pizza, eaten pizza all around the world but these are the best by far!!! My personal favourite is the smoking with a 6 of the best sides with a sweet chill dip. The staff are super friendly and welcoming. Also in the day they offer a great lunch menu with lovely baguettes, soups and pasta dishes. Worth trying it out!

If you want freshly spun pizza bases and incredibly nice pizzas, this is the place to visit - forget Dominos etc, Porky's is by far the best around and the only place to get pizza!

Dominos? Pizza Hut? They're not a patch on Porky's Pizza. A small, independent, well established pizza place that has been going for over 25 years. They have a great range on tasty pizzas, which are great value for money. Delivery is always fast and the food is always great – highly recommend!

We had a huge order for lunch on black Friday. The whole order got completely devoured. Really great quality and excellent value.

Next to the market hall,[they'll finish refurbishing it one day] unassuming little place, thought we'd get a lunchtime snack there instead of the nearby supermarket. Just wanted a sandwich or a roll for our journey home. Mine - minted lamb and lettuce; Mme bacon and brie with cranberry sauce. Freshly baked baguettes. Great taste, good choice of fillings-- next time we'll try their pizzas

Staying at the nearby Premier Inn and didn't fancy what the Harvester had to offer, so asked at reception for takeaway menus. They gave me one for Porky's and it was just fabulous. Not only was the pizza beautifully cooked, it came 5 mins earlier than the time given (and he was happy to come and knock on my door rather than have me go to reception), it also came with a tub of coleslaw and another of garlic mayo - yum! oh - and the cans are chilled and cheaper than the ones in the machine in the foyer!

Pizzas are the best from here! Wouldnt get one anywhere else and the service is always on time! The lunch menu is very good aswell

Porky's make top quality pizzas and a variety of accompaniments. They also provide salads for the lunch trade. All very tasty. Spicy beef and banana might sound like an odd mixture but trust me, it's great.

Lovely pizza's and options available. Fast delivery service most of the time. Only real downfall are their chips, usually find there under-cooked or over-cooked.

Porky's is by far the best Pizza I have ever had, and let me tell you I have Pizza just about everywhere. Love the base Love the toppings Love the service Just please deliver to Cwmbran :)
