Plaza And Grill in South Ayrshire

Food was good, pizza was maybe slightly overdone this time, cheese had bubbled quite a bit more and base was a bit crunchy. Received update on delivery being delayed which was a nice touch.

really not impressed tonight. we have ordered from here many times before and it has been great but the last few deliveries have been quite late. I understand that things happen to delay orders so that I didn't mind about but tonight along with being late the mozzarella sticks were well over cooked and the two burgers we ordered were burnt. I think we might be looking for a new restaurant to order from.

sent the wrong order, ordered 2 cheese pininis and got something else.

Doner meat tasted like it was a week old rock solid me and a friend got the same now not feeling very well

I arrived at the plaza & grill. I ordered a mixed kebab, unfortunately the following pictures will show what I was greeted with when I arrived home! Alongside a bone that was found in my food! It looked like slop and I didn't dare tasting it because I found and spotted a bone in it! I then contacted plaza & grill via a call to explain....(what I initially thought was the wrong order) to have the individual who served me as I was personally in the shop on the 03/03/2024 hang up amidst my call because I challenged what was given to me! Please avoid at all costs! Please see attached photos!

Ordered 2 x wraps and chips that cost £9.80 each which were the size of a snack wrap from kfc!! Which had 3 slices of donner meat in it and tiny amount of salad and no cheese which I paid extra for! Phoned to complain and was told to put in a refund request and he would authorise it. Only got refunded 9.80 for a £24 order and didn’t receive the extra donner sauce that I paid for either. The owner always acts nice on the phone and passes blame onto an employee! Can’t even stick to an agreement wh

Didn't complete order properly. Asked for extra mushrooms but they didn't bother adding them. Still got charged for them though. A decent pizza, but annoyed it wasn't 100% what we asked for, otherwise the mark would have been higher.

If it was less creeshy I’d have given it 5 stars but over all a pretty sexy burger

Peri peri pizza usually is spicier and had peppers and onions but mine never came so either the chef forgot them or it's a new recipe...if the latter the old recipe needs to return

Ordered a Large Munchy Box but can swear we were given a small. Food quality was very good, yet the still has me wondering.

The plaza do two things really well... milkshakes (much better than flakes) and peri peri chicken pizzas (second best pizza in town behind enzos)

The chicken in the munchie box was like a brick, far to hard.

Food was lovely! Highly recommend getting different packaging for baked potatoes and beans. Beans were everywhere dripping out packing before I opened it

Tuna panini is a joke and would never pay for extra cheese again.

Don’t know what happened today but the cheeseburger was burnt to a crisp around the edges and so dry that it had to be binned. The breakfast roll was completely over cooked. The egg was solid, the bacon was somehow tasteless and the slice and scone were, again, burnt. It also went into the bin half eaten. Normally love the food from here so I’m not sure what’s gone wrong today. 😕

1 * because couldn't give 0. Absolute disgrace what they sent. What was meant to be a cheeseburger meal turned out to be a dry cracked bun with nothing but a burger on and the chips were tiny burned and so crispy I wouldn't be surprised if they'd been lying since last night. They're prices are going up all the time and the poor excuse for foot that's served is just a joke.

The driver was very apologetic as Ayr races were on, so he took longer to deliver. He was within the time frame, but my toastie although slightly cooler than I would have liked, was still lovely.

Me and my partner ordered here, chips were dry and hard, way too much salt on them. Burger was nice but then found hairs in it and hairs on the box! Absolutely disgusting. Never again.

Food is below average! Buy a large soup and it comes in a regular cup. The prices are ridiculous for what you receive near enough £5 for chips is a rip off! Should concentrate on serving good quality food than upping your prices!

Best burger in town, toasted wraps are ace aswell! I get my munch from here regularly and have never been let down on a meal. If there has ever been any muck ups like a forgotten item they have always been sure to send out what was missing as soon as they are able. Staff and delivery drivers are ace guys aswell. Cheers for all the good food!

Although the food I did receive was good, part of my order (homemade soup and buttered rolls) was missing and I've been charged for them.

Food was tasty and the customer service was on point

Waited 3 hours for my food too come 2 days in a row and when I phoned up I got told they didn’t have an order they must of lost it and would be here in 5 mins half an hour later and it’s still not here and they close at 10 pm I placed my order at 6 !!

Has been well over an hour and I still haven’t received my food

ordered at 1:45pm, was delivered at 4:20pm, was given attitude over the phone when I called after my order was 1.5 hours late, food finally came, panini was soggy due to obviously being left for a while , curry sauce with the chips looked like sewage , bacon stringy and undercooked in soggy rolls due to obviously also being left to sit for a while. will not be returning , inedible… always been a fan of the plaza but it’s clearly went completely down hill.

I love Plaza & Grill and order from here all the time, but upon receiving food today it because apparent something was wrong with the chips & cheese. The chips themselves have changed from literally last week, but my main concern is the cheese. I suspect it is a non-dairy alternative based on the texture and smell (a friend has tasted and also believes this), which is not what I ordered. Other than not being a fan of the taste, depending what the non-dairy cheese is made of, it could also contain unforeseen allergens. Which, unfortunately, means this will be going straight in the bin (offered it to the aforementioned friend, but they're also not a fan of the taste). Disappointed as this place is usually my go to. I'm hoping this is a one-off - maybe they grabbed some vegan cheese by mistake, and are now using it to get rid of it - but this could result in some dietary issues so hopefully it's not something they make a habit of.

Good didn’t taste as good as usual but still enjoyable

Couldn't eat the soup as it was off. Chips weren't very warm so cheese wasn't melted. Rest was just okay. Not as good as previous times.

Everything was put in a chip pan wen I phoned shop they told me that way it dun was vile to look at and straight in bin 🗑 wish I could put a picture up … phoned shop and casually said that’s way we do it at night … disgusting and rank

The food was honestly not that bad for a munchy box. Didn't go overboard on chips and there would be enough to happily share with 2 others Honestly pretty good for the price. I also learned something very useful, delivery drivers love it when you give them clear instructions to get to your door, such as if they need to press a call button for apartments, and how to get there when they get through the front door. Those delivery notes are far more useful to me now. ;)

One of the only places in Ayr where you can get kebab before 4pm. Amazing quality food, in good sized portions. Staff were very friendly with one man even telling me I could go back and wait in my car and he'd bring my food out to me when it was ready. Only lost a star cos they forgot to put my separate chilli sauce in the order.
