Planet Spice in North Down

Online menu not set out clearly....ordered chicken tikka kebab which says comes with naan or chips. Ordered 2...one with naan and one chip. But both kebab are served with naan as standard. Not clear from online menu. Also ordered dips which are meant to be also included with kebab...yet none were delivered. Other than that food was good

I’d order from here a good few times a year. Tonight I feel compelled to grab the phone and tell the world about it!!! It’s ALWAYS lovely but tonight it was *exceptionally* good. The meat was so fresh, the chicken was moist and yummy and their onion bhajis are gorgeous. The place may look basic on the outside to some people but the food is absolutely terrific. The staff are very nice too. This is my Indian of choice in a part of town with other really good options (with 1 notable disaster up the road that will remain nameless). Thank you Planet Spice; this was “out of this world”!! ;)

This is a take-away only place on the Upper Newtownards Road You can park at the door. Excellent food.

He estado usando Planet Spice durante años y he disfrutado de mi habitual tratamiento los domingos por la noche. Comí pollo tikka jalfrezi, arroz y chapati, servicio de entrega absolutamente delicioso y rápido. El pollo picante pyazki y el curry Madras también merecen la pena.

He sido un cliente regular en Planet Spice por 5 años. La comida siempre es de primera clase. El personal es muy acogedor y servicial. Los chefs variarán los platos según sus gustos si lo desean. He probado muchas otras comidas indias, pero Planet Spice es definitivamente la mejor. Muy recomendable.

Food is always piping hot. Made with fresh ingredients and always taste's amazing. Definitely recommend

This is one of our favourite take away places in ballyhackamore. You get plenty of food and it is really tasty and fresh. It's good value also

The food was great. I had the Planet Special Spicy Kebab on naan and it is excellent. Delivery time was about 20 minutes before the estimated time which is much better than most takeaways. Will order again.

First time trying here and the food was beautiful. Only downside was I ordered 2 keema nann and only was sent but when I rang the restaurant they offered to send another 2 and we're very apologetic. This will be my number one Indian from now on.

I ordered two plain naan breads at a cost of £3.20, however when I got hone and opened up my bag, they were not with my order. The rest of the food was delicious and collection time was excellent.

30 mins faster than estimate . tender meat ,very tasty

The biriyani was terrible. Just a box full of tasteless and flavourless roughage. They gave some kind of yellow dip (probably curd mixed with something) which smelled bad. It had probably started to rot. Other food were not bad though. These guys should really make sure to increase the quality.

Deliverer stated she couldn't see my flat number on buzzers and couldn't contact me through my phone. I received no missed calls on my phone. Just lucky I was looking out for delivery or would have missed it.

Order arrived 1 hour early - quite literally as I had put my baby in the bath! Ordered for a certain time for a reason!! Very disappointed as had to re-heat and never the same.

Paid £5 for chicken wings, was phoned and told they had none, I asked for samosas, I was sent 2 tiny samosas..which cost £2.40 a portion, 2 lamb kebabs had a very small amount of lamb diced into 8 tiny sections, no salad and sauce was sparse, kebabs was basically dry there was that little in them I was able to roll the bread ..extremely poor quality wouldn't order from them again, and food was cold..not worth £23..got the impression they run out of food..order got threw in bin as uneatable..1st place ever that has been poor from using Just Eat

When I ordered, I was advised my order would be with me in 45 minutes but it was at my door in 20 minutes. Amazingly quick for a Saturday night. The king prawn madras was so good and peshwari naan was amazing!

Absolutely love the food and great value for it- large portions. Quick preparation and good service. Highly recommend their Korma and Peshwari Nann.

Food was dripped in way too much oil. Poor quality chicken and the naan type bread was red food colouring on outside and crumbs in the middle! Very disappointed but delivery man friendly and honest!

Ordered food on a rainy Sunday night whilst watching he football. The food arrived within 25-30 mins which was good. The food itself tho, not so good. Planet Spice is just another poor Indian takeaway in a plethora of poor Indian takeaways here in Belfast. If you like bland chunks of meat with a jar of uncle bens poured over the top then go and buy that for £3 or £4 with some microwave rice. Why pay 3 times that amount just to have it delivered? I ordered a chicken starter that apparently had a coriander & lemony tomato based sauce. Turned out it was processed chicken in a thick tomato sauce (tasted like it was out of a jar & heated) with one tiny sprig of coriander in the middle & a tiny slice of lemon hidden in the corner. It was horrible. I usually like a lamb rogan josh when I can find a good one so I ordered that too. Same disappointment again. Chunks of lamb drowned in the blandest, brownest, cheapest tasting sauce. Sorry to say it Planet Spice, cos I don't like to be negative, but you're food is honestly awful :(

Food was great but the amazing delivery driver made it fantastic. I made a note on the delivery to ring when they were outside and I would come down due to me living in a high block of apartments. The driver was not told this, therefore he took every flight of stairs to find my apartment. He is an older man and by the time he reached the door he could hardly get a breath. Nicest man ever and still so pleasant. For that, I will definitely eat here again

The two house special chicken Kebabs were super good as always. However, the two Donner Kebabs had far to much meat in them, more so, we asked for Kebab sauce on all four meals, but the two donners didn't have kebab sauce. Rather disappointed.

Very good food. I was hoping the prawns would be King Prawns but they were just normal size ones. Very tasty though although the Madras was hot. Time of delivery was spot on and would try it again.
