This was our 1st time ordering from Camile and although food was tasty there was very little meat in both main dishes (6 small slices in curry) which was extremely disappointing.

Lovely fresh ingredients and the Thai dishes have never disappointed. The spice bag is really tasty and the red and green Thai curries are particularly good. It’s BYO too

Ordered Khao Soi Gai Noodles at 629pm from Camille Thai Bangor County Down this evening using the Just Eat App. They arrived at 731pm. On opening them I noticed a strong sour smell like rotten eggs. The chicken smells like it is unsafe to eat. I called the restaurant who tried to tell me it was fresh. As I am pregnant I am not taking the risk of eatting chicken that is unsafe. I've submitted a refund request. I will not be ordering from Camille Thai again.

Ordered food at 8 never came, rang an hour later and said it was on its way 10 o'clock phone lines off. Worst staff ever. As we were left with no response or no food

We loved Camille in the past however it's recently changed which is so disappointing. On this occasion, food took 1 hour 55 mins to arrive, a full hour late, yes it was icy and I understand if that was a reason but I tried phoning 4 times to no answer. If I'd been told up front 2 hours that wouldnt have been a deal-breaker but an hour late on the delivery time given left me thinking it just wasn't coming. Then when it did arrive it was warm so had just been made which was great but I'd ordered a rice dish which was stodgy (including big clumps of white rice when the rest of dish had the sauce) with less flavour than I'd experienced in the past with this dish so blander than I expected, beef was chewy then I like crunchy veg but the brocolli was a bit too crunchy for me. The starter we ordered was ok except the dipping sauce which was the saltiest thing I've ever tried. I see management often reply here saying to contact them. There's no point if they never pick up the phone and to be honest I'll just not order again. Wish I'd read the reviews on here first.

Ordered food at 7.20pm and food arrives at 21.40pm. Disappointed.

Ordered from Thindi (part of Camille) We ordered a delivery on a Thursday night. It came, stone cold, after 1 1/2 hrs and 2 phone calls. Everything was so bland! The rice was boiled to death and in clumps, the bahjis were soggy, the curry was mostly water. Overpriced and the very worst takeaway we’ve ever had. Never again, complete waste of time. If I could give no stars then I would. Avoid.

I used to love getting take away here but this will be my last unfortunately. It’s never on time, and this time they got my order wrong so had to wait another 20+ min. Hugely disappointed.

Our takeaway food and the service when picking up was excellent. The app however go do with some work as you have to go all the way back to the start to change from delivery to collection.

This place used to be our go-to for takeout, but it's been slipping lately to beyond the point of acceptable. Tonight was the final straw– the fried rice in both dishes had seen the inside of a microwave one too many times, and chewing it was a workout. The potatoes were either underdone or nuked into oblivion, basically solid rocks. The only highlight out of the six dishes was the spring rolls. Honestly, we're throwing in the towel after tonight – not worth it anymore

I would love it if Bangor supported this eatery. A thriving Thai restaurant is a great asset to the town. And boy does this town need assets right now.

I had avoided Camille Thai Bangor for some time due to the mixed reviews and prices, however, tonight we ordered a takeaway for collection and so glad we did. The order was ready at 5.30pm as arranged. The portion sizes are very generous and the tastes are wonderful. Fresh, well balanced and really really tasty. Not overly spicy just how you want freshly made Thai food to be. Compared with most of the Asian takeaways in Bangor, especially the mediocre Chinese takeaway offerings, Camille food is so much better. Highly recommended!!

I ordered 2 Katsu chicken dishes and the taste was lovely. I would have preferred more sauce on the dish as it didn’t look like the picture on the menu. The sauce also looked like it had been sitting on the chicken a while

Sent email for 25% off valid for 28 days. Then told by staff not valid as it’s from Camille not Camille Bangor!! Joke and unfortunately the manger Nancy cannot handle a issue complaint. She said too busy with customers and here is me thinking I’m a customer!’nn

Good food, and lovely friendly service - clean open kitchen one of the very best eateries of its kind in Bangor. Recently reduced portion size for their large takeaway box which is the only negative - but that’s more a greed issue on my part perhaps.

We've recently discovered Camile Thai and we think it's excellent. We love their food and their quirky and pretty packaging, the packaging is so much more convenient than any other company that delivers food! It is genius! I had the pad Thai and the duck pancakes and my husband had red curry, (and another dish I cannot remember now) and the potato dish, they were all absolutely delightful! The portion sizes are good, the food is such good quality and it tastes like heaven. We'll definitely order again - in fact we already have!

Great food! We went at a very busy time so it reflected in my review. Only one person was serving customers at the time and really there should have been 2 or 3. The dips that came with the spring rolls are CRACK!! 🤤 Very very friendly staff and made sure of allergies etc. Good place ❤️

Ordered delivery through Just Eat. Food arrived 15 minutes before expected. Ordered green curry, stir fry with chicken and mushrooms, and veg egg rolls. Everything was delivered hot and fresh and very tasty. Will definitely order again.

Ordered a delivery. 90+minutes LATE! Not good enough at all. Will not use this business again. Asked for a refund but with no success. They blamed the delivery driver. Poor!

We had dinner on a Saturday evening here and Thai food is definitely not for me. Restaurant feels like a fast food McDs type of place with little atmosphere and no music or any vibe whatsoever. Didnt like my main course and starter I had was Duck Pancake which is thought would be shredded duck but it wasnt. Big chunks of duck. Kitchen and toilets were very clean and service was very good. Cheap prices and easy to get a table as a walk in on a Saturday and it's BYO which is a bonus.

The food was so nice, the staff was so kind and welcoming definitely will go again.

I understand that anywhere can have an off night, but when we called to explain the problem we were told there’s no point ordering the food again because it’ll take too long and other customers have been complaining about the same thing so it’ll probably taste the same anyway… we agreed we’d settle for a full refund with the receptionist, but that this would need to be confirmed by the manager. Manager called the following day, essentially accused us of lying about the issues we had with the food and said there wouldn’t be any refund because they fixed it and other customers weren’t complaining anymore! Unless they absolutely nailed the lunch service I don’t know how other customers not complaining between 7pm Sunday and 7pm Monday has anything to do with the service we received. Best to steer clear!

I wish i had read the reviews. The 1 hour 50 minutes wait was just way too long. The food was luke warm and just not that good.

I have so wanted to love this place. The foods good even if you get someone else’s order 4hrs after you’ve ordered yours. Tonight we tried again, but alas wasn’t to be 2hrs 20 for a 3min car journey. Luke warm food, god bet it would taste good if it was warm but we’ll never know! Lies on the phone of the guys round the corner be there in 2 mins, 20mins later and still not here. Please someone take this place over and give the food the respect it deserves.

This is my second time to get some takeaway from here. The first time was ok but this time it had to go in the bin. This is Chinese takeaway (I know ..it is supposed to be Thai) at its very worst. Food was overcooked and so salty it could not be eaten. I got 2 mains and 2 side dishes and that came to just shy of 30 quid. I did try to contact Camille through their website but there is no email for customer care. I tried the franchise email listed but there was no reply.

Food was delicious and a much more healthy option than many alternative takeaways.

Where do I start??? Received an email for a free cooking demo, followed by lunch. My 3 friends and I attended this event on Sat 14th 9.30-11.30am. On arrival we were greeted by the chef and two managers ( one was the area manager). We got seated and were offered chocolates . Then we got a tour off the open kitchen . We all got out full PPE on first. We were shown how the orders come in, the prep areas, food storage units and then we got to watch the chef prep 2 meals! Then we got to do it ourselves! To say this kitchen was clean would be an understatement. I’ve never seen a kitchen so spotless. The equipment the chef uses was impressive! We got to see the different woks/ fryers for vegan. The whole experience was amazing! We can not wait to return! I didn’t know this restaurant is BYO too! Bonus. The staff were so pleasant. Keep up the good work guys! Ps- I forgot to take my own cooking home! Forever grateful, Krystina

Tasty but prices have been going up and up and up, used to love their lunch box deal but too expensive now and other places in town do authentic Thai that are bigger portions for the same price.

Waited 1:45mins and when I called they put me on hold for 8mins and never came back. Nice food but service isn’t good enough. Really disappointing.

Gorgeous food , delivered on time

Just excellent and quality food as always. Could not recommend their dishes more. Really worth the try, Green Curry and Red Curries are sublime as well as their Pad Prik Haeng. I'm not a big heat spice lover and the Pad Prik Haeng is at the end of my range but worth every bite.

Recommended by a family member so decided to try it for a treat. Never again. Boxes of mush cellotaped closed. Nice boxes but that was as good as it got

The honey chilli did not have much of a honey taste. As a bee keeper myself I love the taste of raw honey. It was a lovely meal but disappointed with the flavour.

Always providing amazing floured meals. We have been eating with Camile Thai in Bangor for a about a year and we have never been disappointed.

If I could leave zero stars I would, excessive wait for food, for small order, staff not bothered. Overpriced and awful service. Stay away if your hungry as still waiting for food 1hr and 20 mins later!

Ordered a take away last weekend and was shocked when seen the size of the new packaging they have for their take aways, did not look like £40 worth of food for dinner to be split between 4 people, would of returned it had I been paying cash at the door. Portion sizes very small for the prices and meat was next to none in all of the dishes, especially the noodle dish we paid extra for beef in. The only thing I will say is the flavours from the dishes we got were lovely but will never be back for another take away, should not reduce quantity and charge restaurant prices for take away food.

Food was excellent but poor value for money, the pricing is more in line with what you would expect to pay somewhere more upmarket.

The duck egg rolls amazing green curry with chicken and jasmine rice. Was the best we have had and the Singapore noodles wonderful. Going to order again. Try soup and the Crispy chicken Delivery was fast and polite thank you again.

We ate here and it was good. We had crispy chicken, a green curry and pad thai. Portion sizes were good and the food properly cooked. I am giving 4 stars because pad thai should have a topping of crushed peanuts and accompanied by crushed chili flakes, otherwise ok. The price was fine and the waiter brought a bottle of cold water which alway good in a restaurant.

I visited here for a lunch and I cannot begin to say how much I would recommend it. The resturant was very clean and tidy and has a very nice aesthetic. Once my order was placed, food was delivered very promptly despite being made to order. The food was super tasty and the portion was very generous. The meal itself was very reasonably priced and left me with no complaints at all. Highly recommend!

It was fairly nice but not nice enough to justify the prices for takeaway. Good place for sit in lunch. Not massive portions either . V little meat compared to veg. Comparable to Kanto Belfast which is more reasonably priced from memory. Could only recommend this place for the lunch special otherwise i would just go out for a meal in tuk tuk

Underwhelming and over priced. Not a good experience, the food was so awful we didn’t finish it. We had a takeaway, which was ready when we arrived. No extras included, prawn crackers etc, just our order which was unmarked so we had to open everything...

We are regulars of Camile and we cannot get enough! There is an excellent menu and it is clearly laid out what is suitable for vegetarians and vegans, which unfortunately is rare in takeaways and restaurants. There is a great selection. Food amazing. Service outstanding. Food always piping hot and delivered quickly. Never any issues with the order. Can't recommend enough. Thanks Camile

Very disappointed with a recent delivery. Crispy duck pancakes almost vegetarian. Meagre small cubes of duck yet lots of spring onions and cucumber? Shop bought pancakes microwaved and squished in their plastic bag. Main course, very salty noodles with little chicken. I would say Camile has earned profit with this serving but lost my custom.

Third order that they forgot to include something. Really annoying as just added credit again for next phone order would prefer a refund and no compensation for inconvenience. Can you just check deliveries are correct before you send them out! Ordered the cauliflower starter and it’s really soggy.

Food was delicious, Thai green curry was really creamy, gyozo were tasty. Portions weren't the biggest, so for large if you want something big. A touch expensive but it is restaurant quality.
