The food was an hour late, cold, soggy and didn’t have any flavour

Food wasn’t warm, delivery was late. Very disappointed. Wouldn’t go back.

Edit: Just updating this to say I've had a reply - 10 months later, original post was Feb 24 🤣🤣 _______________________________________ We loved Camille in the past however it's recently changed which is so disappointing. On this occasion, food took 1 hour 55 mins to arrive, a full hour late, yes it was icy and I understand if that was a reason but I tried phoning 4 times to no answer. If I'd been told up front 2 hours that wouldnt have been a deal-breaker but an hour late on the delivery time given left me thinking it just wasn't coming. Then when it did arrive it was warm so had just been made which was great but I'd ordered a rice dish which was stodgy (including big clumps of white rice when the rest of dish had the sauce) with less flavour than I'd experienced in the past with this dish so blander than I expected, beef was chewy then I like crunchy veg but the brocolli was a bit too crunchy for me. The starter we ordered was ok except the dipping sauce which was the saltiest thing I've ever tried. I see management often reply here saying to contact them. There's no point if they never pick up the phone and to be honest I'll just not order again. Wish I'd read the reviews on here first.

We have now been waiting for our delivery for one hour 30 minutes! This has happened before but we gave them the benefit of the doubt. Never again. To add insult to injury they’ve unplugged their phone line so you cannot even phone them to find out where your order is! We will never make this mistake again as they are totally unreliable and our Saturday night is ruined!

Food was almost 2 hours late. Curry didn't come with rice which wasn't made obvious on menu so we assumed like any other takeaway that it would. Spice bag was 5/10, potatoes were hard and clearly cooked ages ago. Overall very disappointed.

Delicious food, lots of fresh ingredients, nicely spiced. Particularly like the Thai red and green curries. I love that they use recyclable containers for takeaway food. Always friendly staff.

Food was great and arrived early but the app didn’t update to let me know it was being prepared and then on the way.

Ordered 1812 with a 1855 delivery advised … actual arrival of ‘cold food’was 2020 … expensive microwave meal.

We ordered a collection from Bangor Camille. Collect time was good (options to collect from 10 mins onwards from time of placing the order) and food was very tasty.

The delivery is still not arrived so I would like to apply for a refund

Delivery due 8.50-9.10pm. Didn’t arrive until 9.30pm ( 1 hour 25 mins after order placed) and food was cold.

Ordered hour in advance for delivery, arrived more or less on time & Very tasty. Only criticism is that it wasn’t hot, just warm. Perhaps there’s something that can be done to keep it warmer or retain heat a bit longer.

Camile Thai is one of our favourite places to visit. We ordered 6 meals tonight for £48 as Bangor Eats was doing a 30% off offer. The food was absolutely delicious! We had Green Curry, Massaman Curry, Chilli Chicken Stir Fry, and Katsu Curry tonight.

Awful no atmosphere Told can only order of one side of menu Friend and I shared added a side and a starter The curry was more like a soup Left alone not checked was all ok did we want anything more Will not return

Our takeaway food and the service when picking up was excellent. Ordered via the app, only took 15 mins from ordering to collecting. Food was delicious as always.

Would review the food but after 3 hours it still hasn't appeared lol x... rang the restaurant to be told it would be with me shortly. Was then rang back a moment later to be told it had been in fact delivered but to the wrong house. Poor service probs won't be back, hope whoever got my crispy potato's and curry enjoyed it xx

The food was brilliant delivered with care , hot and delicious my guest from Sussex loved her red Thai Curry and I the sir fry chili chicken oh and the duck ! Never fails to amaze

Really disappointed as the noodles were cold and hard when they arrived. Heated in the microwave but the quality just wasn't the same as when it is fresh and hot. If I knew I was going to wait to ling I wouldn't have ordered. If this was served in house it would have been an entirely different experience. Wouldn't risk ordering again for the price of the dish. Worst experience to date through Just Eat

Ordered a take-away several weeks ago. Part of the order was a tiffin platter for 2, when the food arrived (close to 3 hours late) the platter consisted of a random selection of spring rolls, no chicken wings and no chicken skewers. They had basically given us whatever they had left over. Complained about the wait and missing items and was given a £30 voucher with an apology. Very generous we thought. Last weekend we ordered again. This time as part of the order, we ordered 2 portions of chicken skewers, when the food arrived, we had a sum total of 2 skewers not 2 portions! The rest of the food was well below par, very little sauce, dry undercooked rice and mushy. Really poor quality ingredients and cooked with absolutely no love. I genuinely think they just don't care. Avoid at all costs. Shockingly bad in every department.

Ordered some late night nibbles with my son. We fancied some different so gave Camile Thai ago. Wasn't disappointed, will certainly be ordering again soon and trying more of their dishes.

Chicken wings and apple pancakes are lovely, calamari tastes good but just became soft and not with wasabi mayo sauce

Not only was it late the starters were freezing, I also had to ring and find out where it was as the app was saying it had already been delivered, person on the phone couldn't have cared less not even an apology.

hi all just disappointed, ordered @ 9.55 pm on tuesday the 4th as they dont close for last delivery @ 10.30 on bangor eats just to be told that they could not be bothered, sad days for catering businesses

We ordered take away today as it was 40% off the bill. The food was tasty enough but I am happy we did not pay the full price. I collected our order saved £5. The restaurant had only 1 table in, seemed to have lots of take away.

We were handed a double sided menu on arrival to then be told (when the man eventually took our order) that you can only order from one side. I then watched the man preparing the food rubbing his nose and face while cooking. Food took nearly 45 minutes to arrive. My sons meal arrived with a long black hair in it. Absolutely no atmosphere and extremely average food. Save your money and go somewhere else!

Delivery and Service Concerns I've been a regular customer and have noticed a decline in service and delivery speed. My recent order took over an hour and a half to arrive, and attempts to communicate with the restaurant were unsuccessful. Additionally, the starters were not up to standard, with two items merged into one and an insufficient amount of dip provided. I hope to see improvements in these areas before I will be placing another order.

Food was good but delivery was over an hour late. Issues with delivery drivers are not the customers problems. No offer of discount due to delivery times. I did ask. Order somewhere else if you’re hungry.

Overall the food was delicious. The chicken katsu curry was cooked to order and was crispy. While the Chicken Gyoza was soft and tasty. My only constructive criticism would be the improve the portion size of the chicken katsu curry and perhaps clean the tables. As most of the tables were sticky on the surface.

Placed order at 18.56 and only received the food at 21.00. Which was cold and delivery driver did not even apologise for the order being late. We will never be ordering from Camille Bangor again. Real shame!

I got food poisoning as the chicken hadn’t Been cooked through and I have been sat for 2 days throwing up everywhere and have a bad stomach, I do not recommend eating here as it has been a very unpleasant experience for me.

Ordered takeaway online at 7pm and it was delivered at 9.30pm. I rang about 10 times to find out what was happening (once it got to nearly 9pm) and it just rang out with no answer. I eventually got through and was told it was on it's way. It took another 30 mins to arrive. Noone orders food and wants to wait that length of time for delivery. It's unacceptable. I would not order from here again as a result. The food was ok but the delivery issue just ruined the experience.

Ordered food on a Monday night at 8.30pm. It did not arrive until 10.30pm. We phoned at 9.50pm and were told the food was out for delivery. We attempted to contact again but all of the numbers went to voicemail. When the food arrived, one of the mains was missing and all of the food was cold. The duck in the duck pancakes was almost inedible due to the amount of fat. Really disappointed.

Food was 35mins late and of course no longer hot. We heated everything and as ever it tasted superb. I wish they could sort out the delivery system as it's not the first time drivers have had difficulty getting here on time.

This was our 1st time ordering from Camile and although food was tasty there was very little meat in both main dishes (6 small slices in curry) which was extremely disappointing.

Was marked as delivered and had not been delivered - had to chase up multiple times & was told over the phone “it’ll just be 10 minutes” “it’ll just be 5 minutes” and it was a further 30 mins from this time. Disappointing as we love Camille Thai and have ordered before with no issues- although there is always a missing item or cancelled order.

Not only did our meals arrive late by 25 minutes, the food was cold and request ignored for no peppers in any of the meals.

Lovely fresh ingredients and the Thai dishes have never disappointed. The spice bag is really tasty and the red and green Thai curries are particularly good. It’s BYO too

Ordered 8pm, arrived 10.30pm. Lukewarm when it arrived but food is tasty. Camile you seriously need to sort out your delivery times, looking at previous reviews it’s obviously an ongoing problem. Your food is nice, absolutely no doubt about that…but I can’t take the risk again waiting 2.5 hours for food again, so I won’t be ordering in the future.

Ordered Khao Soi Gai Noodles at 629pm from Camille Thai Bangor County Down this evening using the Just Eat App. They arrived at 731pm. On opening them I noticed a strong sour smell like rotten eggs. The chicken smells like it is unsafe to eat. I called the restaurant who tried to tell me it was fresh. As I am pregnant I am not taking the risk of eatting chicken that is unsafe. I've submitted a refund request. I will not be ordering from Camille Thai again.

Waited an awfully long time for the food to arrive, but when it did, it was delicious.

Ordered Pad Thai and Crispy Chilli Beef Stir Fry - both only tasted of sweet chilli sauce. The beef stir fry was mostly rough cut veg and water.

Was very late. When arrived food was cold! Food was still lovely but not very happy! Would like money back!!!!!!

Food was ready at 6pm as i had booked, everything was hot and very tasty.

The quality was fine I was just a bit disappointed that the spring rolls didn’t contain any duck as advertised especially given the price for them. We received boiled rice instead of jasmine rice too. The crackers were also missing from my order but this was sorted with a refund which I have been advised will take up to 7 days to process.

Usually fine but ordered 8pm Friday night and didn’t arrive until 10.15. Phoned at 9.30 and said it was on the way then couldn’t get through. Food arrived cold at 10.15 after ordering from somewhere else as well.

I contacted the restaurant to ask where my food was as I got a notification to say my food was out for delivery 45 minutes ago, stating the im wondering where my order is but also expressed concern that my food my be cold by the time it arrives. She said she would contact the driver and call me back. She didn't call me back. My order arrived freezing cold. When I tried to call the restaurant, my call was rejected every time. Bad customer service.
