Pizza Rucola in Wigan

MY FRIEND VOMITTED. Ordered way late into the night and delivery came in an hour and a half later. First of all, both our large donna meats were cold and missing a quarter portion of the tray; one was missing its salad and the extra-paid cheese, the other tray's salad tasted pickle'y. Pizza was also cold and hard as a rock. The "large" cheesy chips portion was SO small, in addition, cold & missing mayo. Lastly, chicken wrap was soggy, chewy, bland and just sad. In conclusion, from a £48 order, you would expect to be full and have left-overs; no, still hungry...if you're ever starving late at night and this place is your only option...save your money and sleep it off, cuz this place is criminally a scam. Do the town a favour, never order here and get this place out of here.

If you wish to wait 1 hour and 30 minutes for cold, dry, and rubbery food on a MONDAY. Then this ladies and gentlemen, is the place for you 😀👍

I rung the takeaway asking why my order hadn’t been confirmed on the just eat app. The takeaway said they had stopped delivering therefore I cancelled my order. A few mins later I received a call asking why I cancelled my order I explained what has happened and the man on the phone said he got confused. He said I needed to pay cash on delivery if I want my food. I explained that I won’t be doing this as I’ve already paid 100% for the refund. I said that I wasn’t happy with the service as I was told to delete my order and now they want extra money because they got it wrong! Won’t recommend even if starving!

Food arrived half an hour late, food was cold , no nan breads or grilled veg on the mixed kebab. Kids ordered Nutella calzone that was cold.

Don't waste your time....unless you like MELTED CHEESE on your NUTELLA calzone 🤦🏻‍♀️ rang them to tell them, told us we would get a new one. Over two hours later, can't be bothered to wait any longer. Couldn't even fulfil a simple request to have mayo on a kebab. Delivery was also late, we had to call up and chase, and the chips tasted rank. Was willing to let all of that slide until we realised the cheese and chocolate shambles. Wish we had checked previous reviews before ordering. Never again.

Payed a lot of money for my food that never arrived. They wouldn’t answer the phone when I rang. Don’t order from here

If 0 stars was an option I would give it. Took 2 hours for food to come. When the delivery driver arrived he had one bag full of multiple orders and just handed my partner a pizza and said let’s try this one like he didn’t even know if it was the right one. Luckily it was. All of the food was freezing cold & hard. The pizza was rock hard and the kebab we couldn’t even eat it. It was drier that Gandhi’s sandal and freezing. Tried to call regarding late delivery multiple times but it kept going straight to voice mail. Also tried to call to complain and still straight to voicemail. Thanks for spoiling our night pizza rucola.

Food arrived, was only just warm on arrival. No dips with the kebab meal so phone call to shop made, was told the dips would be brought. Waited with food going cold, which it wasn’t hot to start with. To receive no dips. Will not be ordering from here again.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS. TWO HOURS WE WAITED AFTER CONSTANTLY BEING TOLD "10 mins mate sorry, the minutes." 🤡 AFTER they bamboozle you with gibberish, not speaking even English words to explain why your food is late - and it will be late - they will lie to you repeatedly about when it will arrive. It will also arrive cold. Dismal. Utterly, utterly dismal.

Food was vile was stone cold paided 42 ppund for inedible food waste of money do not recommend

Waited 20 minutes past delivery time. Rang and was told 10 minutes. Waited another 25 minutes drover couldn't find the address (was down the road) when the order arrived we were missing 2 items, the burger was incorrect. Rang takeaway was told they would send replacements Waited several hours nothing arrived. Tried to ring several times phone wasn't answered

Food was ridiculously late, things were missing off the order, communication with the shop was terrible over the phone. I'll never be using them again. Don't waste your time.

Over an hour late ,food not very nice and found a hair in my food ,won't ever order from these again

Totally wrong pizza delivered, ordered two different and got two same...which left one person nothing to eat..delivery was nearly 45 mins late n still get it wrong

Took over an hour and a half to deliver, sent the wrong food and the one thing that was ordered was under cooked. Shocking food and will never use again.

Shocking place .ordered a £25 order and order at 1:30 .This 🤡 driver has the cheek to knock on my door at 5:10 am with a delivery !!3hr 40 minutes late all lights off and he bangs the door .he is lucky I didn’t fold him in half knocking with a pizza .I have breakfast at 5:10 not pizza .awful place .Do not go to this joke pizza place

Worst takeout I've ever had sent wrong pizza but also it was burned and rock hard asked for plain chicken burger ended up with everything on and the kebab was drowned in chilli sause and chicken tiny fatty peaces

Order from here tonight the whole meal didn’t come cooked I rang them back and they just buttoned the phone

The best pizza we have ever had, I've tried a few in wigan and they don't even come close. The portions were very generous, and it tasted fantastic. Thanks for doing a great job and for the best food we have tasted in wigan for a long time. We have found our new takeout place.... and it will take a lot to beat you guys.

They do the best pizzas I've ever tried hands down ,highly recommended

Pizza was fantastic, but the pasta isn't good, pasta tasted not like pasta, not much flavour.

Thought I try a different takeaway never again here. Pizza not cook properly and chips rubber. Don't mayo just taste like normal mayo from shops. Don't put any instructing cause they don't listen like my side salad. Just wanted lettuce but got everything.

Chicken they use is from Poland... Horrible quality chicken.. still pink when cooked and full of weird muscles, tendon bits ..

Had a special kebab and hot shot pizza from here and have to say both were fantastic Both came hot and well cooked...got free delivery and a free garlic bread with cheese Both plus points...will be ordering from here in the future...only small gripe was the nan bread was a little thin and slightly crispy

Food was amazing just a bit stingy on the sauce on the kebab was only a blob in corner

This used to be my go to pizza place but then it went downhill (this isn't the end of the story!). However recently I gave it another go, whilst the pizza's don't have the herbs they used to have (and the rock salt) they have some absolutely lovely ingredients and taste amazing. 5* for Pizza, next time ill try either the kebabs or the burgers but i definitely recommend the pizza over anywhere in the town centre.

Bad boy food the free garlic bread is fresh and seasoned and the kebabs from this place are next level rapid delivery aswell scran was hot when I got it to I use these every day highly recommended 👍

Ordered there big kebab £12 was massive and came with a good free cheese garlic bread

Ordered for delivery which was slow, the pizza was greasy and the fries cold I'm losing trust in Muslims!

I’ve ordered from here a few times and absolutely loved it! Always blown me away. Would normally rate 5*+++ Normally greeted by a lovely couple making pizza there on the spot fresh! I usually order the rucola special which was divine! Tonight wasn’t the same at all, I ordered a Hawaiian pizza, chicken strips and fries, all of which tasted incredibly cheap! Just a bog standard takeaway experience. No satisfaction to any degree. The service was just as quick however. I’m not sure if this restaurant is using cheaper produce and cutting corners due to the current climate but based on tonight’s performance I would not recommend; Where usually I go out of my way to tell friends how good the food is here! Something has changed, and it’s not good! Please go back to however you were cooking a couple of months ago, used to be a pleasure and totally different experience! Amazing pizzas won't go anywhere else for a pizza in wigan

I may of never ate here but about 2 months ago some drunk chased me around Wigan trying to hit me screaming he was going to kill me. If it wasn't for the kind staff giving me refuge in there shop I would have been a goner. They saved my life and where very comforting and brave confronting my attacker as he tryed to get to me. The staff here are heroes.

Usually order here all the time but the prices have gone up so much £17 for pasta and pizza? You must be joking. Don’t know if it’s new management but I’m not gonna pay that much for something which was way cheaper like a month ago

What a joke ordered got email to confirm it would be delivered an hour later an hour and 15 minutes later ring back to be told it will be on its way straight away and if I cancel order I would never get a delivery again never ever had a problem before but never ring again

The one and only place for takeaways in Wigan right now. The quality of the food is of restaurant standard. Absolutely brilliant! Not just your standard pizza place, more an italian restaurant at the end of your phone but also has all your dirty favourites from donna meat to fried chicken

Absolutely fantastic pizza, pasta and sides... Tiramisu is out of this world. My upmost favourite pizza take away... ever.
