Terrible branch, if there is a mistake regarding the online order you cant get through to rectify it. Rather than answer the phone and ask you to wait they hang up. The excuse is they are busy. As customer service goes there is none! The branch is totally mismanaged. As for Trip Advisor asking what I got, the answer is, it turned out to be nothing, although I did order dinner! Recommend you think twice and order elsewhere!

I'm happy with the food and the deal I got from the pizza hut. I wanted a good pizza that did the basics, and the site recommended one that ticked all the boxes. Speaking with the service team helped me get exactly what I was looking for. The only reason not to give 5 stars is the fact that I had to separately claim for the offered cash back deal, rather than it being automatic, and this info wasn't stated anywhere.

Please please please do not use this franchise. The delivery driver was very sorry for not being able to find us.. Braintree is a small town and lets face it we all have apps to find where your going! Food was cold, had a slice and like cardboard. Called the branch, asked for the manager and was told she was the manager, she said that simply they send the food warm... wouldnt give her name because she wasn't allowed to. Asked again for the manager and she said she wasn't allowed! Called back after Google head office and apparently I can't speak to them... avoid avoid avoid!!!

This was delivered to us in Braintree Essex! Absolutely awful! Don’t waste your money!!! Was told 30 minutes an hour later! All cold! Not nice Garlic bread cold! Pizza cold! Nachos cold! Never again!

I was really dismayed when we visited this place to place an order a few Sundays back. Walked in and asked for my usual order as deep pan for me and an Italian meat free for my lass (she doesn’t eat meat). We have ordered online at least 3 or 4 times over the past year. Having to query one order as it was a meat option not the meat free as ordered (refunded). On this occasion face to face the staff member had to get the manager as he didn’t understand what I was asking for. The man in charge came out, I asked for the meat free Italian Sausage only to be told that, in his words … we have not done that for ages! Me, how long? Him, always! I was shocked and my lass sickened this is a total fraud putting out meat in Veggie options!! Be warned!!

Forgot to order dips with my cheesy bites pizza, after a phone call, as order was still with them, dips were added to my order no problem. Pizza arrived quite quickly and nice and hot.

Ordered their any pizza £8.99 collection. X2 large pizzas. Hubby went to collect and found himself and then later another customer waiting without acknowledgement. One of the workers even came to the front to get a drink and still ignored them. Eventually after knocking on the counter and calling out they were served. Very rude though. The pizzas were disappointing. Threw about 40% of it. Too much crust. Not like they used to be. Will order from Mr kebab next door in future.

Ordered a delivery and food item was incorrect. I chased this and was told the correct item would be delivered, unfortunately it wasn’t. I called again and they were very apologetic and re delivered the item and a free extra Pizza. Mistakes happen to everyone and this was a good outcome and a nice good will gesture 😁

I placed an order online and then wanted to change my order. I phoned the store and the guy helpfully added the extra items I wanted. Made my lockdown birthday extra special by including Ben & Jerry's ice cream as well as delicious pizza. Thank you!

Ordered 2 x large pizza's for a birthday treat with the 2 kids. Pizza dough was awful, most of it was not edible and they cover it in a kind of herb salt that wasn't optional. Kids hated it and we threw it away. Not the standard set by Pizza Hut.

1st time I have ordered from here. Very easy to do online plus you can pre-order with a time I did this but the order was late. My drink was missing as stroppy driver had given to the previous order. The Nachos were stale the Pizza Cold & chewy .Drink turned up 45 mins later with a second more polite driver. Dominoes next time !

We placed our first ever delivery with Pizza Hut two days ago. After over three hours of waiting (over two hours later than the latest delivery estimate) I tried phoning the store, multiple times, but they never picked up the phone. I had no other option than to drive there. The young guy told me that that night had been a disaster for them, they hadn't got many orders out, and that I wouldn't be receiving mine. I just needed to know if we could start cooking something at home, because we were starving, and it was now 10.45pm! Whilst I was there, I heard their phone ringing constantly, and of course the staff ignored it. Trying to get a refund was just as tricky. I was told today that I should get a refund in 3-5 working days, but we'll see. The telephone manner had a bit to be desired! The manager kept asking me who I spoke to before, as if I know all their employees by name! I understand that these places are busier than usual (lucky them!) due to the coronavirus lockdown. But they should not be accepting orders that they are unable to honour. And if they are unable to provide a delivery, they should let the customer know asap, so that other arrangements can be made. Also, an automatic refund should be issued. I shouldn't have to beg for it! Maybe it was a blessing in disguise. The other reviews suggest the food is poor quality!

The guys at Pizza Hut are always so polite and efficient, been using this branch for 14 years now and would never go anywhere else pizza’s are ALWAYS the best! Just ordered a delivery at a epidemic time like this and once again such polite service thank you guys keep up the good work!

Waited over an hour for food, when I phoned , the staff member couldn’t help. Chicken dish was cold, clearly a frozen dish not cooked properly. Should have tried the local pizza shop, but thought Pizza Hut were a decent option! Dominoes next time.

Been some time since my previous review and we had some vouchers and so thought we would try here again. To be honest I wish we hadn’t bothered. My fiancé and I ordered pizzas that were really poor. Tried again the next week with the rest of the family. We ordered a variety of pizzas as a family and none of us enjoyed them. Badly cooked. Incorrect toppings. Long wait. Did not enjoy I’m afraid.

Ordered 3 pizzas and 3 cookie doughs, all came burnt an hour late may I add, so phoned and asked for more to be delivered, yet another hour came and went and recieved 3 burnt cookie doughs, so spoke to manager and he gave us a free meal next time, week later ordered again, pizzas arrived fine, missing 2 cookie doughs, and they was milk chocolate not white, phoned and asked for the correct ones, yet again they came after an hour and they was the wrong ones! Absolute joke! Would avoid this if you had the option!

Thought we would try this chain again. Order at 18:04 and at 19:45 the food still hadn't arrived. Really. After contacting the branch at 19:04 to find out where the food was we had been advised it was on the way. So a 4km trip takes over 30 minuets? Food was cold on arrival branch manager did not care about the food being a inadequate temperature. Had to complain to Pizza Hut direct obtain a refund. AVOID this place. Customer service is not forefront of this franchise yes it is a franchise.

I have never felt compelled to write a review on Trip Advisor until now...It all started 3 weeks ago when I ordered a pizza through their 50% off website offer. I thought I would give them a try after being a Dominos die hard fan for as long as I care to remember. The email I received after placing the order stated that delivery would be 45 mins, a little longer than I'm used to from Dominos but nothing ventured nothing gained... 1hr later I still hadn't received my pizza so tried calling the store, the call was cut off after ringing for 5 minutes, so I tried again, and again until I finally got so frustrated (90 minutes after placing the order) that I ordered from good old Dominos which arrived 20 minutes later.Exactly 2hrs after placing the order with Pizza Hut there was a knock at the door, you guessed it, my pizza had arrived! The delivery guy was genuinely shocked when I told him to take it back and that I would be seeking a refund through their website. Which leads me to now, on hold to Pizza Hut trying to get to talk to a spokesperson having been through their online complaints procedure trying to get a refund with absolutely no comms in return.Words cannot describe how frustrated I am with Pizza Hut and their amazing ability to lose potential new customers, appalling customer service. I for one shall never be going back, long live Dominos.

So we understand that this is a review on a Pizza Hut delivery and that our expectations should be somewhat limited, but whilst shouldn’t necessarily expect the earth, I assume we should at least expect cheese on our pizza, right?Our order was for two large pizza and one was actually quite nice as one might expect (pic1).The other however was a tad short on cheese (pic2) and was frankly inedible because of it.We phoned immediately to get a reorder but after 8 times of trying to ring (for so long that the phone was automatically cut off) we eventually gave up and shall now go to Pizzahut directly to get a refund.As I said, we didnt expect 5 star food but when it’s as dreadful as tonight I do expect to be able to get through to complain.So poor in standard of food and especially service.

Quality of the takeaway way fairly poor. Topping in the centre leaving about an inch and half of dry crust. Pizza Express was much nicer.

Went with extended family for child's birthday ,2 of the adults had ribs which they really enjoyed,3adults had the low calorie pizza which was like eating cardboard .The children pizza was not much to write home about .Also there is only one drinks dispenser for all the restaurants so while children in front of you are trying to work out how to work you've got to stand in queue for refills

...if you live east of Braintree! We live 2.5 miles outside town. We've had no less than 4 menus shoved through our door over the past month or so. All of them advertise delivery. This evening we rang to have pizza delivered, to be told eventually that deliveries were not made to our address. We weren't wholly surprised, as when they first opened, Domino's didn't deliver from their shop (400m further away from us than the Hut) either. However, they have done so for several years now, so we'll ring them to order in a minute. My point, which I'll warn people about on Trip advisor so they don't waste time like I have, is that the menus which they have had delivered repeatedly over recent weeks, should state clearly that unlike the paperwork, the food cannot be delivered, instead of saying that it can. I know i could go and collect food, but that's not what I want to do. Their 'contact us' website wouldn't let me submit these comments, so I'm putting them here in the hope Pizza Hut may pick them up...

Popped in for dinner ahead of an evening event. Very friendly helpful staff. Service excellent and food was great as ever

Done a all in pizza lunch, good value, normal tasteless pizza and salad. The people I was with all enjoyed it which made it worthwhile. Personally don't like the hut but all in all maybe I'm being harsh. They enjoyed and that's what matters :-)

Pizza Hut es caro, no hay duda sobre eso. Sólo he considerar pedir con un 50% de descuento o algo similar e incluso entonces todavía es caro. Habiendo dicho eso, su pizza puede ser muy agradable. También puede ser muy mediocre, y a veces bastante pobre.

Pizza took nearly 1.5 hours to arrive. Staff weren't very polite when I phoned to ask for an eta. I'd be tempted to try somewhere else next to time.

4 pizzas para colección ordenados y me dijeron 15 minutos. Llegamos después de 15 minutos y pizzas listas, así no puedo quejarme. Pedimos la pizza a las 18:35. A las 19:20, todavía no había llegado la tienda entrega y llamé me dijeron que había dejado en la tienda. Llegó a las 19:45. Estamos a sólo 7 minuto caminando así demuestra en max no se había ido. Calidad de la pizza era pobre, lo peor que he visto en mucho tiempo. Muy bajo y en coberturas champiñones pizza vegetal lo siento ¿qué ven!! Conductor de la entrega también fue grosero y ni siquiera pidió disculpas por la duración de tiempo que tomó para la entrega. No será pedir ninguna más pizzas de esta rama. No es la primera vez su servicio al cliente ha sido pobre. Una pizza de supermercado es de mejor calidad.

Tenía un almuerzo buffet mientras estaba pasando. Estaba bien, pero no es espectacular. El bar de ensaladas era buena pero ensalada de patatas era más como puré! Me pareció que el servicio del personal era amable, y a menudo venían para ver si está bien. 13 libras para dos de nosotros no se quejado, pero no es exactamente una experiencia memorable a prisa en volver.

Fancied a desert so used the local Pizza Hut Take-Away, ordered 2 cookie dough and ice cream (not both for me...) which were very nice and good value. However, whilst waiting I had entertainment laid on by the staff who were mucking about with frozen bottles of water that whilst dangerous in a kitchen was not my issue, it was the foul language that went along with it, every other word was the F word and I lost count of how many times it was used. Not sure I will be going back.

I stopped in for a take away pizza when I was passing through the area. It was a relatively quiet Thursday afternoon, but the staff were ready and willing to serve. The pizza was nicely presented, and tasted good, and it was quickly prepared once ordered. Parking is available, but access in and out of the car park is difficult owing to the traffic. Overall, it is a good place for a pizza on the go at a reasonable price, and to be honest I found the pie better than expected.

I took my daughter to the lunchtime buffetwaited 8 minutes for a member of staff to seat us even though there was no one else queuing The restaurant wasnt very busy but again even after being seated we waited 9.2 minutes for a waitress to come to the tablethe drinks took 7.8 minutes to arrivethe buffet was poor and not kept filled up and the choice of pizza at anyone time was not goodmainly meat and hot pizza I have visited many Pizza huts and never had such poor service it was almost obvious that the staff would rather be anywhere else but at work

Fresh pizza we always order the tuna and king prawn and ask the chef to make it extra hot with green chill is it's always the same nice and tasty, we love the salads you get to pick your own in a bowl and also drink as many as you want in he deal. You can't go wrong with Pizza Hut x

Went for the lunch buffet with my son. Salad is always fresh and always plenty of pizza to pick from. My son particularly liked the refill coke dispenser that has the option of strawberry, vanilla, lime and other varieties of flavour that can be added to your coke/lemonade. Try the creamy broccoli pasta! Its lovely. I also love the salsa dip. Feeling hungry thinking about it, and I'm usually not a pizza fan but love pizza hut pizza!!
