Pizza Express in Woking

Really good pizzas, great way to end a shopping trip. The club app us also very good and can pay online which saves time. Friendly staff.

Perfect for a quick dinner which was what we were after. Service was efficient and attentive, lovely pizza (American hottest was great!) and gluten free bases on any pizza I wanted rather than me having to flip through an allergen guide!

Went with a few other people and children. Waiter was lovely to begin with. Told us we could use our pizza express vouchers to claim free dough balls and told one of us (who was a student) that they could use their student discount. However didn’t explain that we had to “check in our table” to claim the free dough balls” or that the student was unable to use her 25% discount because she was “part of the same table”. Furthermore he gave us one receipt for 4 different families. Then did not care to explain how the bill came to over £135 when kids meals were free! Instead told us to “work it out yourself”! Speaking to the manager was pointless because apparently he couldn’t “take our word for it”! Last time we ever go here! Beware of any “vouchers” it’s all a scam! In the end, they over charge you and instead make you feel pressured to pay the bill by ignoring your questions regarding be bill!

Very nice people mariana was super helpful the food was super delicious and the kids coloured with the pages and the crayons super kid friendly and super recomended

Visited here whilst on holiday in the area. The restaurant was very busy but they squeezed us in, which we were greatful for. Unfortunately that’s where the good experience ended. Our waiter was rude, abrupt and unhelpful. It ruined our whole experience. Our food was delivered to us pretty quickly, which I why I have scored this place a 2 and not a 1. Luckily we could pay online, so we did that, and left as soon as we could. Toilets were extremely dirty. I would 100% not visit this pizza express restaurant again.

Tralasciando ciò che dicono tutti la pizza tutto sommato è buona, anche se il servizio non è molto sveglio. Penso che la pizza migliore sia la Margherita, ma che dovrebbe essere presente anche in versione "Romana", cioè la versione grande. Riguardo questo, nel menù è da specificare il fatto che "Classic" è piccola e "Romana" è grande. Comunque per andare sul sicuro visto che il locale è inglese siamo tutti andati sulla margherita ed è buona, poi le pizze almeno il lunedì le portano velocemente. Anche le altre pizze sono raccomandabili. Non è una pizzeria da sottovalutare ma di sicuro c'è di meglio.

So this was for a 9yr olds party, from booking, to changes to booking, to reception when arrived, to service and food it was fantastic. Special mention to our waiter (sadly forgot name) who was so great with everyone, even helped a little sister cut up her pizza and did a great job with the cake. Thank you to all the staff who helped make it a fantastic day - really appreciate it.

Very rude staff need to fix up was sworn at please don’t attend this restaurant rather have a KFC party bucket than go here

People is not so much at the moon. We ordered classic Sloopy Giuseppe which is really nice. We would try other pizzas at later time.

One was pleasantly surprised by the quality of this establishment. The staff were sufficiently respectful and the food was more than. Taking into account the kids spent some not inconsiderable time doing the dot to dot and colouring in - I couldn’t possibly have had time to have done anything else that night. Phew - in the clear. Well done PE Woking.

We used to be regulars here but had not been for a year or so… Came here on a week night for a family celebration, really pleased to see the friendly waiter we used to see who seemed to remember us & gave us really friendly & attentive service all evening. Food was really good too, we all had something different & everyone’s was spot on. Really pleased we came & enjoyed a good meal all round. I do suggest booking, especially at weekends which seem super busy as we tried to come a few weeks before on a Saturday on the spur of the moment but was fully booked out.

Great atmosphere and food! Maybe a little over priced for what we ate! However service was piss poor, asked for the bill she went away and came back 20 mins later with desserts for a different table after already coming over with the card machine and then having to go back as one of us was paying with cash. Also asked for some more Caesar dressing, which I didn’t mind paying for however none came! Waiter who served us may as well of thrown everything at us from a distance, surprised she didn’t break a glass when putting them on the table. Over all wouldn't bother coming.

Lovely food. The staff were a bit anxious and not having a great day, but after a chat they seemed a lot more cheerful. Nice to see additional options for the coffee plus desert!

Had trouble with deliveroo so called the restaurant and (sorry I didn’t get his name) the guy was so helpful and sorted it out for me. Dinner was delicious and customer service was superb

Food, drink, welcome, staff, range of gluten free, freshness of salad all excellent at the Woking branch. Difficult to make a reservation either on app or on phone. Did make a reservation in the end for much later and it was for the next day. However confirmation went to junk. In the end we just turned up and they made us very welcome. Food and gluten free options just fantastic. Toilets rather grim. All pizza express branch toilets always seem a tad grim though so nothing out of the ordinary at Woking.

You know what you are getting at pizza express, decent pizza and a good range of options. Felt a little rushed, the waiter bought our bill when we declined the dessert menu despite us still talking and drinking our drinks. Good when you are travelling and need some food or just a casual bite to eat.

We stopped off in Woking for a meal on the way home after a straightforward shooting weekend. Where better to eat than Pizza Express? Tasty pizzas and truly excellent service - we were treated like royalty. La Reine is the obvious choice here - delicious.

I fondly remember this place from my childhood. Delightful pizza party on a weekday, stayed till late, partied like rockstars and royalty. Wonderful memories eating out a hot American and seeing who would sweat the most - ofcourse there was 1 guy who didn't even crack, a sweatless bloke who stayed all night, rather unusual for him. Anyway, 5 stars!!! Please don't leave minors unattended.

I remember visiting here many years ago. My mother had told me in no uncertain terms to open the tin of baked beans myself and my ex-wife was not prepared to do it unless I paid her. I met my girlfriend Ghislane here. I fancied something small hot and spicy and our waiter, Jeff happily obliged, but he said he thought American fayre was better. After a good stuffing I can't remember what I did for the rest of the evening, but i'm happy to help if anyone needs any more information. Service was excellent and I would reccomend the hot & spicy pizzas.

I had never been to Pizza Express before, so this trip made it extra memorable.I was catching up with some old friends, and the food complimented the occasion well. American Hot was nice and spicy, but I didn't break a sweat eating it.It wasn't so busy at the time which was nice and gave us a lot of privacy, it was like I was on a private island

Had an amazing family meal here last summer which will be memorable for decades to come. It was an extremely hot day, the restaurant was very busy and the air conditioning working perfectly ensuring no one broke into a sweat. Quality and Service 100% perfect - fit for royalty.

They rename this place dough balls the pizza is good don't get me wrong but the dough balls are made with gold dust because they are from another world. The service was outstanding however the toilets were a bit messy but part from that everything was good.
