Never found a better pizza 🍕 anywhere, and likely never will !

They might be cheap pizzas - but I ordered the bolognaise pizza and a garlic bread - they were awful. The pizza was like slop. Might be cheap - but there must be a reason for it. It went in the bin.

Always a great pizza (for her) and half pound cheeseburger (for me). Freshly cooked every time. Nice.

I don't know why but I wasn't expecting much when I entered the shop. The prices and price board look as if they are stuck in a time warp. Six quid for a pizza. I was totally wrong. I just had a pepperoni pizza from here and it was bloody excellent. Two pizzas with fries and two cans of pop was 16 quid. Absolutely brilliant. I will 100 percent be back. What a surprise. I would give it more stars if I could.

Every pizza I have had from here has been lovely and when I asked about child size pizza as I couldn't see it on the menu he adapted one for me I also get chips and garlic mayo which is great highly recommend 😋

I've been going here for some time. The chap who runs PB takes time and effort into each pizza and keeps the place very clean. For a true Pizza and not some Domino's trash, this place is awesome!

Been going here for 7 years as a treat, Iive in leeds, never get local pizza, always travel out here to get pizza, been lovely everytime, unfortunately last two times round he was very busy, taking phone orders and counter orders and cooking, too much going on for him when he is like this, so the pizzas this time got a bit over cooked but still give him full stars as its him vs the world in there and he doing his hardest. Wan best time go for spot on pizza, go when he is not busy. Still the best. Hate people that leave bad reviews for little niggles and mistakes, try running a takeaway your self and find out if you can be perfect. Top pizzas, keep it up.

Great, as always, their lasagne is superb.

My 15 year old daughter went in to collect her £6.20 pizza to be charged £14.40 (used my card to pay), phoned after to check price (took over 30 minutes to not hear the engaged tone- phone taken off the hook?!) Was told correct price over phone and told they must have got the orders mixed up. Went back for a refund of the difference of which they could only give me in cash as they don't know how to refund back onto a card! Whole thing seems rather dodgy, either seen young girl and taken advantage or attempting some sort of scam. Will not be going back!

By far the best pizzas I've tasted from a takeaway. The Garlic Sausage was simply perfect. Thin, crisp base, balanced toppings, delicious. My wife bigged them up and I was sceptical...but I would take Pizza Base over any major brand every day of the week (except Mondays and Tuesdays 😭). And the value for money is astonishing. It's simple... 3-4 of these Vs a Domino's/Papa John's/Pizza Hut...not even a competition...Pizza Base every time. But don't think it's just a price thing...the quality is as good as it comes.

The reviews were that damn good I decided to give it 5 stars without trying it.

Just Had a brilliant tasting pepperoni pizza , well worth the price & I will definitely be going back to try the other types of pizza's .I definitely recommend pizza Base 🍕.

What a gem .I was hungry after a bumper to bumper shift and not only open on a Sunday but it's real pizza rolled before your eyes then topped as you like it .found it by chance but going back because I really liked my pizza

This place is surprisingly good. Just 1 fellah in there banging out amazing pizza. Thin base Italian style pizza. Think pizza express I was stuck for food options at the Chevin. This was a great find!!

The food was lovely, we just didn't get the chips we ordered and payed for with our meal and when i said where are the chips, the reply was "what chips? You didn't order any" and some muttering as I left the shop. as the guy behind the counter was on his own and taking orders, answering the phone and making food, i think he's a little bit too busy 🤔😴 won't be calling here again in a hurry 😒

I don't get to eat Pizza very often since my wife is Gluten intolerant. However on the rare occasions when we eat separately I love to visit Pizza Base, which is without doubt the best one in Otley.

My favourite pizza's bar none. The calzone is my favourite but the hotter hot shot isn't far behind. You can keep your Pizza Hut, Domino's and Pizza Express. Handmade from fresh.

We have been customers of Pizza Base since it opened and they had home delivery . We stopped using the take away for a good while because of this. However, it must be said that their products are first class. We love the calzone and buy one quite regularly. A bargain and the recipe hasn’t changed Over time. No cutting back in size or cheaper contents here, A bargain at 6.20 However, our favourite is the lasagne. Fabulous, with lovely flavours and good quality cheese. Far better than Waitrose, Booths or M&S lasagne and much cheaper. £4.50 compared with the “best “ from the supermarkets at around £7 or more. We regularly travel to Italy and these two products are as good as, often better than, those found in well respected establishments there. Godetevi il buon cibo qui e ora. !!

A great take away pizza is something more common nowadays than it used to be, with the consistency of the ‘corporates’ and many supermarkets offering ‘choose your own toppings’. The quality of the Pizza Base product, therefore, has to be pretty special to merit a review, let alone a 5 Star maximum. Quite honestly I cannot understand why anyone living in the area would even consider ordering from anywhere else! The prices are cheap, not just competitive, whilst the quality of the bases and toppings is absolutely outstanding. Offering hot, fresh and delicious food every time, this outlet is a genuine asset to the town - long may it continue!

Pizza, Pasta - This is the very best takeway in Otley in my opinion. We have used these guys for over fifteen years and food is simply brilliant. Prices are good too.

Phoned ahead for a collection. Fairly average really. Pretty regular range of pizzas, decent size. Fairly middling.

Quality, great value food - Their pizza's are excellent; fresh and very tasty. A great option if you are looking at takeaway options in Otley.

We have had takeaway for from here for several years, but the last twice has been very disappointing - the last time I actually returned all the pizzas and got a refund, not sure why the quality has gone so far downhill but we won't return now.

I pop into Pizza Base now and again. The owner is a lovely bloke, always helpful and friendly. The pizzas are good, though Sicily's finest they ain't despite what some reviews say. The burgers etc are also serviceable, but no great shakes.

I have ordered twice from here. First time I felt sick as a dog the worst I have ever felt after a meal. Stomach ache, feeling like I needed to vomit. Gave it 6 month and thought I would try again with this place. MISTAKE. Pizza tastes like a 1 pound frozen from supermarket. Chef who was making it looked like he couldn't care less. Ingredients are cheap. Base is cold. Undercooked. Stay away and get from elsewhere. How these guys have survived for so long is beyond me.

I have been using the place since about 1990. Same staff and same quality. These are simply the best pizza's you can get. Always fresh and great portion size on extras. Calzone is in a league of its own...as is the gambler.... and the carne special..... as are the burgers.... and the ..well you get what I'm saying

Great food at an affordable price. Will go again next time I'm in Otley. I'd recommend getting a pizza from here they were delicious.

Been going here for 20 years and they are consistently very good hand made pizzas made by a couple of local guys that seem to have been there forever. Prices very reasonable and good to support an honest hardworking friendly local business.

Been going here for 11 years now and the business is well established. Consistent toppings, although bases are still too thick despite asking for extra thin. Prices have risen quite a bit over the years. Always large portions which is too much.

This take away has been in Otley for years. There food is always very consistent. Really tasty great toppings ever thing you would ever want.My personal favourites is the Calzone with extra mussels huge and incredibly flavoursome.

Their chips are always crispy and food is freshly prepared and quickly served, even when they're busy. The Gambler (chicken, mushrooms and green peppers with a garlic butter base) is the best!

Run by 2 men who vary the style of pizzas each time. The taste is always the same and the sauce used is delicious, but the thickness of the base, and the amount of topping varies a lot depending on who has made it and how busy they are. Always better to order by phone as can take up to 20 mins depending on customer numbers, although phone orders always end up being hung up on without a goodbye, which is weird and sometimes seems rude! The choice of toppings is wide and burgers, lasagne, cannelloni are also served, but no desserts, which is a shame. It is take away only which is also a shame as it could be a lucrative business expansion and a nice evening out if premises were available to have an eat in section. Good food at reasonable prices.

Would be really nice pizza if the base wasn't so sweet. Also could be a thinner base. In summary great toppings needs a more authentic base.

This is a really good take away, especially if you're feeling peckish late at night. I'd recommend the calzone. Great value for money, The food is always tasty and unlike a lot of places you get the impression they use quality ingredients.
