10/10 pizza and vibes. Come during the week, it's quieter as there's always a small queue for the pizza (it's worth it!).

Waiting in a queue for almost an hour for a slice of pizza when there’s probably 10 people infront of you is beyond a joke. 1 guy making pizza, serving it and doing the till - seriously get another staff member. Everyone just stands there looking pissed off, hence why we just left and went somewhere else. Leeds is a great place for food - sadly this one isn’t. Won’t be coming back

I really wanted to give this 5 stars for the gluten free pizza but sadly it just wasn't good. I appreciate making pizza with rice flour isn't great but come on guys, if Pizza Pilgrims in London can do it, so can you. Very soggy and the base tasted like a thin out of date cracker

Unclean surfaces. Lazy disinterested staff. Hair on pizza. Fly zapper constantly cremating flies and spreading the smoke into the kitchen. Told me to come back in 15 mins only to serve me half of my order then wait another 5 (which was another 15). There was nobody else waiting.

This place used to be so much better. The pizza is still decent but the service is terrible now. The staff might as well not be there with how inattentive they are. No smiles, muttering/super quiet, even forgetting that yes you might actually need to pay as well!

Not sure what's happened with this place. Used to be really nice, lovely customer service and experience. Regular goer at Belgrave and noticed the change in staff working here - very unfriendly and the quality of pizza has gone down massively. Far too much mozzarella (might seem snarky) but tastes like an end of the night takeaway. On top of this the last few times we've ordered the person behind the counter has not spoken a single word to us. May as well be talking to a robot, although that might have more personality than what's currently on offer.

Comparing the quality of pizza here to Rudy’s is crazy in all areas of service, quality and price. My experience here is bewildering in that the staff are inattentive and more interested in their conversations. I also had a specifically poor experience where I was bypassed in the queue and after they finally took my order and heated my pizza they swapped it for the now cold slice that they served to their friend they bypassed me for a few minutes earlier. They did this clearly because the pizza went cold while they were chatting. They didn’t even charge the person they prioritised over me and they did this right in front of me as a paying customer. If you are going to charge £14 for a pizza you have to get your service together too. Aside from this the pizza used to be better and the topping quantities are very inconsistent.

Still the best slice pizza in town but not quite up there with full size Neapolitan offerings from Rudy's or Pizza fellas. Half price slices are a must have when in town.

Only eaten here once, but the pizza was good. Went here a second time, but the place was packed, so I went elsewhere.

Have visited a few times especially for the pizza 🍕 Always has an interesting choice of toppings and judging by the range I have tried - they all taste amazing. Nice crispy base too and good vegetarian/vegan options. Can’t be beaten at these cheap prices for huge slices!!

The pizza is one of the main reasons I visit this place - it's fabulous! There are some great combinations and always a few veggie / vegan options - which are awesome. Most lunchtimes the pizza slices are half price - good reason to have two slices (which are good sizes) The mushroom one is my favourite but I also like to try one of the others too - recently there has been a mock duck one, a banana blossom one and today's choice was halloumi, sriracha and jalopeno - delish!!

I'm italian and I really like the pizza here! the ingredients for the toppings are different compared to the italian style pizza, but the pizza itself is really good. The service is quick, the price is not too high, and during the day is excellent because you can buy 2 slices at half price! I'll come back soon.

We love dough boys, really tasty pizzas, interesting toppings and really good value for money. We often buy a selection of pizzas and end up taking some home because they're so filling. It's a great atmosphere and the staff are usually helpful and efficient.

Stopped by here for a quick bite before catching our train home. Between 12-7pm on sunday -thurs your first 2 slices are half price. I got 2 large slices of pizza for around £3.50 ish, so the price was amazing for the size of the slices you got. All the flavours look amazing, and i demolished all my pizza! The only thing i didn't like about this place is that i didn't know how long the slices had been sat under the counter for. And although the slices do get heated up again in the oven, i didn't like the idea of not knowing if they had been there for a while. My wife is a vegan and they had a couple of slices left of the vegan pizza but it looked really shrivelled up and like it had been sat there for a while. So her only option was to buy an entire pizza which cost £9. Not that she complained because she took the left overs home for tea. They don't serve you with plates, just paper bags.....which is fine, until your pizza slice is fresh out the oven and is burning your hands taking it back to your table. But that was only a minor thing...the pizza is still delicious! Perfect for a quick bite!

Can't rely on the being open. Came to the place especially for a pizza, well within their opening hours, but was told by the pizza counter staff that they're closed.

I love the pizzas there, they are absolutely gorgeous. However, the service is not very good most of the time, which is a bit of a shame. Cannot really complain though considering how cheap it is for such good food.

Dough boys pizza is excellent and this is a perfect venue where just when you have been drinking all day you can pick up a slice or 2 listen to some good music or in the summer pop up to the roof deck.

I am used to eat pizza from here almost every day, from months. I love it, best pizza in town, and also the guys usually friendly and the service was good. But recently something changed, pizza still super, but I found rude one member of the staff, rude and not very friendly. The first time I thought he was maybe having a 'no day' it can happen, 3 days on a row, nope not acceptable. It put me off from going. And I'm sorry because pizza and place are great.

Great value during 1/2 price slice times. Slices are generous sizes and service is quick. You might struggle slightly with seating depending on the time you visit.

Cayó en un pedazo de paso, Leeds y quedé muy impresionado. Comenzó con un fuerte y estable", que tenía salchichas caseras (delicioso) y frijoles borlotti entre las coberturas. Realmente muy bonito y fue hora feliz a menos de 2 libras un trocito. Entonces tenía una 'no' para mejora de hongos (foto), que era absolutamente encantador. La adición de recién hecho tomado el pesto de cortes. Está en un entorno muy guay, con bares, asientos cómodos y un DJ (no demasiado alto). No dudaría en volver a visitar de nuevo y se lo recomendaría a cualquier persona que viva en o visitar la ciudad.

We called in here sunday afternoon having heard good things about this place. We werent disappointed, fresh tasty thin pizza slices. Each slice is a quarter of a 16" and a bargain at under £2 a slice (half price deal).

Such good pizza! Fun toppings, great combinations, good value, super quick and lovely guys! The dough is fresh, the toppings are fresh and just makes for a really yummy snack or lunch on the go. Or a hang over cure :)

Called by the Belgrave on the way to see Neil Young at Leeds Arena. We had a fantastic set of pizzas from Dough Boys, paired up with a fine selection of Ales. Highly recommended.

The Dough Boys pizza at Belgrave is by far one of my favourite places to eat in Leeds. It is made quickly and in front of you, can't say I've ever waited 10 minutes even at the busiest of times. Really good value for money, slices range from around £2-3 and if you time it right you get your first two slices free (if you manage to do this, its around £2.50 for two slices - half a pizza), which is amazing value when you consider the quality of the food. The pizzas are so delicious, theres a variety of toppings, some that you've never heard of, and they have specials frequently. Can't recommend the food here enough!

Thought I'd point out that Dough Boys is super kid friendly, my little boys love their pizza. We've tried quite a few different flavours and can't pick a favourite, they're all so good! Lovely dough, not over-priced and in a great setting. Definitely worth a visit.....you won't be disappointed!

Hubby and I went here yesterday for lunch, Bank holiday Monday, and I have to say, in pizza terms, it's the best we have had for genuine thin proper hand made pizza! And the cost? We walked out of there after having basically half a pizza each, a pint of coke and a lime and soda, for £8 odd!!!! InLeeds!!! You buy by the slice (quarter of a 12 inch ish pizza) and the first 2 are half price before 7pm ( 5pm fri &sat) . But as it was the bank holiday weekend Monday, we didn't think this would apply. The most at full price £3.20I think but some are quite a bit less. I would have happily paid full price. There are 6 varieties, including veggie ones! We both had a sausage feast and a baa lamb non. This had very mild, subtle eastern spiced lamb nuggets on it, pine nuts etc. I didn't think I would like it massively, but it was gorgeous, as was the feast one. These pizzas are made where you can see, hand stretched dough, fresh tomato sauce, the real deal, and then the not overloaded toppings. Enough to make the thin base stay crisp, and fill you up and satisfy those tastebuds!!! How pizza should be. We only came here after seeing a pizza tasting segment on Sunda Brunch where a guy had written a book on the best places to taste pizza in the world, and one of the guests (from Leeds) asked if there were any in Leeds. He said yes, a couple, Dough Boys is one. Straight onto Google, and we found it. Never been up here , but if you are in the centre you HAVE to try it. There is also a burger kiosk in the Hall/Bar, so you have a food choice. Have to say, they did look amazing the ones i saw. All in all, a VERY filling, VERY DELICIOUS, AND VERY CHEAP LUNCH. WELL DONE DOUGH BOYS. WE WILL BE BACK!!!!

Perfect spot for a quick bit of lunch and the slices of pizza are so cheap, especially in the week when they are half price - we paid £2.80 for two giant pieces! Our only complaint was that we'd rather the pizza was cooked fully from scratch rather than reheated, however as this is meant to be fast street-style food it's really not much of an issue and when the pizza is that tasty and cheap, you really can't complain! Belgrave Music Hall also seems like a great venue and a cool place to hang out so we will definitely be back again soon!

I've had lunch here, and the vegan pizza we had was amazing. Good service too. We ended up paying a bit more than expected, but there are usually some lunchtime deals apparently.

The apparently new staff was Spanish (Fawlty Towers trained??) and even though his colleague (boss?) was there and we showed them their own website, (as if we should need to evidence this when its all over their web site, facebook, twitter, instagram etc) and they still were un-cooperative and unfriendly. He tried to give just £1 back (we'd had 2 slices) and we had to fight for the full amount. We also noticed other customers were paying the full price without question (too drunk or not aware of the special deal??) SO is Manuel ripping them off and pocketing the proceeds?? Dough Boys pls take stock!All this is very surprising as normally it's so good and cannot fault The Belgrave that its inside for surrundings and vibe!

Popular "in bar" eatery. Fresh pizza made continually. Good range of toppings including veggie options. Very reasonable, sold as a slice which is a quarter of an approx 16" pizza. Gets very busy especially during offer time and at the end of the working day.

Conveniently located in the Belgrave Music Hall building, this place is almost impossible to miss as it's always open when Belgrave is. Don't be expecting much, the place is a simple take-away counter with a fair choice of toppings. And two ovens, of course.The pizzas are nice and crispy, not too doughy as you tend to find them elsewhere. The tomato sauce could do with slightly more flavour (maybe a touch more herbs?), but we liked the different - and sometimes daring - ingredients they use on top. Prices are very affordable, with 1/4 pizza usually sold at £3.50 (and half price throughout the day).

Cool place to eat, went the other week after work and got a slice of the goats cheese pizza. Really good thin base and one of the best pizzas I've had. Was also half price because we went before 7. Definitely returning!

Whenever I'm in town during the day I always pop to Dough Boys for a slice of pizza. My favorite Queen Brie as it is only £1.50 and can be feasted upon by vegetarians.

Went on a hungover Sunday when nothing would do but pizza. Great value for money, especially when you compare it to the likes of dominos. Slices are large and the topping varieties are delicious! The only downside is struggling with multiple slices on small paper plates.

If you like pizza and you're cool then Belgrave music hall and canteen is the place for you! Check out the Dough boys stand and grab some authentic Italian pizza with seriously good quality ingredients. My only issue is the reheating of the pizza. Such a shame they are not cooked to order. Still though, seriously good. We we're there during happy hour so it was dirt cheap.

I'd recommend the sausage fest. I was looking forward to my visit all week and it didn't disappoint. The guys were really friendly, service witha smile despite it being a ridiculously hot and busy Friday night. Will defos be going back for more!

Such a cool place, the best pizza I've had outside New York. All done by the slice, and really cheap. I had a special one with smoked chicken, really good. Staff were good too, help my friend who was gluten free.

We read the reviews on trip advisor and because we were in Leeds with our three girls aged 9,10 and 13 we thought we would give this venue a try. It also happens to be only a few minutes walk from the Leeds Arena (Miranda was fabulous by the way!)We took advantage of the half price offer and consumed 14 slices between us and this was at the amazing price of only £16!!!The pizza is amazing - fresh, authentic, thin crust, good selection, lovely toppings, hot and just scrummy!The Belgrave Music Hall is also full of atmosphere and added to the experience of a great night out.We enjoy a rather good French restaurant in Leeds called Kendells when it is just the two of us, but when we are out as a family, the Dough Boys/Belgrave Music Hall experience is going to make our decision of where to eat, a somewhat tough one... If you are going to Leeds and enjoys pizza and good drinks and a friendly evening, then you simply must go here.As one of our daughters has just said "it was really, really, really good!"

Absolutely love this pizza. It's done Italian takeaway style - they have 4 pizzas there made already, then you just choose it by slice and they just pop them back in the pizza oven for a min. Then they always add a few extra bits before handing it over - depending on which one you choose. They add a bit of fresh pesto & some capers to the veggie one - superb capers too. Before 7 pm it's usually £1.20 for each giant slice - a 1/4 of each pizza.I just wish they were open over lunch!

Went here on a night out recently, the pizza is really good - i had the "sausage fest" only 2.60 for a hugee slice! Nice venue, good music, definitely worth a visit :)

The New York slice concept that this pizza place has adopted is fantastic.The quality of pizza is phenomenal too.The staff obvioulsy care about what they do and the use of quality ingrediants is clearly noticable in the taste of their pizzas.Ive tried everything on the menu and not been disapointed yet!

Had more slices than I should've last night from the Doughboys at the Belgrave Music Hall. Brilliant service by naturally friendly staff. How can such good pizzas be as such a good price? (Half price or not!) Great attention is paid to each pizza slice and the toppings are as varied as they are delicious. Great concept for serving in a nice venue such as the Belgrave.Top marks - I will be coming back!

Brilliant concept. A great range of unusual pizzas that taste amazing! It's awesome to finally have someone in Leeds centre that you can go for a chilled drink and a quality bite to eat. They do a 'half price slice' every day til 7pm, which is great for the skint amongst us. Staff are also welcoming and friendly. Go and check out Leeds' best kept secret before it becomes rammed as word spreads!

Absolutely awesome tasting pizza, great venue, great staff and excellent value. Love everything about these guys. The concept of selling pizza by the slice, in a bar, is genius - just right for a quick bite while out for a drink - perfect with the Quaffing Gravy I was drinking. The sausage fest pizza is amazing. Belgrave is a great addition to the city, and Dough Boys is the icing on the cake, can't wait to go back for more tasty pizza slices!
