Pink Turban in Harrow

We where 3 people and ordered the butter chiken wich was delicious with the egg fried rice and butter naan, everything was under £13 and we where full , beautiful service and a special thank you to chef Carla who came to see us and make sure everything is alright! Well done! 😊

The management is the worst! We spoke with them about having a party there and they said contact us back with the details and such. A few days later still no contact and when we called they said they cannot do it as its booked that day. Something they definitely forgot mention before promising to call us back and make arrangements for the party which now we don't even have a place for it anymore as it's too late to find something else.

Food was undercooked and charged my grandad 100 pounds over the bill the original bill was 200 pounds and also they bought fish that said was Masala flavour but was just normal fish and the plates hadn’t been cleaned and mainly the chicken was undercooked and the fish was 2 portions for 10 pounds very expensive and undercooked chicken and not very clean seats .they promised they would pay us 100 pounds and as soon as we came the next day they had refused to pay back our 100 pounds . Lighting was very useless and food had gone very cold by the time we got it .

Average. I visited after there had been a party at the restaurant and was the only group there. The service was unfortunately very slow. A lady, who I assume was the cook, came a few times to give the naan bread at the table looking very miserable and fed up. Food was mixed. Some things tasted ok and some not so much.

Ordered a takeaway from this place via one of those delivery apps. Ordered paneer mirch ka salaan and this is what i got. I am not sure if subji was cooked in oil or oil was cooked in a bit of paneer ( refer to pics). The subji has no gravy, just oil and pieces of paneer and pepper. The dal makhni was well below average and breads all looked same and chewy. Never again will I order again or recommended anyone going or ordering from here. It used to be a good place a year back but had gone downhill since then

I had my 40th birthday party at Pink Turban and I had the best night! The venue is sensational - it was like being at a smart London club but in Rayners Lane. All guests commented what a wonderful place to hold a party. The cocktails tasted sublime - especially the lychee martinis and mojitos! The manager Fra and her team was so accommodating and ensured my party was a huge success. I used DJ Blendmaster to play party tunes and would also highly recommend him. This is a family run bar and restaurant and they are all lovely people. I would definitely recommend holding a party here - you won't find another location like this in Harrow!

Bit Pricey and the menu looked very promising but unfortunately the food didn’t live up to the expectations. They have the perfect menu to help stand out from the rest but let down by poor execution.

Had very bad experience. My vegetable biryani had small pieces of meat in it. Butter paneer Totally bland. Butter nan was too greasy and under cooked. Coke was served warm. I repent spending £50 on this useless restaurant.

I have been visiting the Pink Turban restaurant for some time and every time I have been very impressed with the exceptional quality of the food. This is by far my first choice for Restaurants in Rayners Lane Harrow. I would recommend you try it out..

The new owners service is great. Thank you Nick, but the food was cold. This place is changing from 4th September 2018 to Amira shish lounge. Let's hope the food will change for the better.

One of the worst dining experiences I have ever had. Staff very unwelcoming and unfriendly. Service was abysmal. We visited on a Groupon voucher, which they immediately added exclusions too - saying no alcohol could be redeemed on the voucher when the voucher clearly says any drinks, saying that prawn dishes couldn't be ordered when the voucher mentions no such exclusions. It took about 20 minutes for our drinks to be brought out, and around an hour and a half for the food to arrive - with our starters being brought out after the mains! There seems to be only one person in the kitchen, one person serving the dishes, and a creepy Manager who wanders around then sits at a tabel near the door playing with his phone. The food was of reasonably good quality (some dishes very nice; others just average) but was certainly not worth the wait. On receiving the bill, they had not taken the discount off, and had taken the liberty of adding a service charge to the entire bill - despite the absolute lack of any during our dining experience. They have then configured their card payment terminals to ask for a further gratuity. Further, they advertise payment can be made via American Express and the terminal accepts the card, but then they refuse to accept the payment - citing payment delays, which is clearly a lie. Further, their terminal range doesn't extend to the upstairs of the restaurant, so you have to go down to the back of the basement in the restaurant just to pay for the average food that took far too long to arrive. Overall a terrible experience and a wasted evening, spent with the comtemptible staff of this poor establishment. Would leave negative stars if I could and will certainly not return. I would advise that, unless you have a Groupon that you cannot refund, you do not go there either. It certainly was not worth a penny more than we paid, coupled with the added hassle of using it. AVOID!

To start with lot of bad reviews on google but our overall experience was great. It was quite on wednesday evening but that was good for us as couple. Ambience was good . We ordered chilli chicken as starter, later we ordered veg biryani, dal makani and nan. It was slightly expensive but buying groupon can help. Many thanks

THEY HAD NO SENSE OF CUSTOMER SERVICES... I NOW WONDER WHY IT WAS EMPTY ON WEEKEND! THE GIRL WAS KEEP COMING TO OUR TABLE AND ONLY TO THE MEN TO AND KEEP SITTING DOWN ON THE CHAIR FOR GOODNESS SAKE WE WERE THERE FOR THE FOOD AND NOT ANYTHING ELSE.. SHE WAS SO RUDE NOT THINK8NG THAT WE WERE FAMILY. MOTHER WAS KEEPING AN EYE ON THE DAUGHTER LOL OUR DRINKS CAME AFTER 35 MINUTES WAIT ..SERUOUSLY HOW LO G IT TAKES FOR THE COKE....? BUT HEY SHE WAS MORE INTERSTED IN OUR FAMILY THEN SEARVE US... STARTER ARRIVED AFTER 4 TIMES ORDERING SHE MANAGED TO TAKE CORRECT ORDER.... Terrible experience would not recommend at all!! Went here with a groupon voucher with the view of spending ‘upto £70 on food and drink’. Firstly, after ordering drinks we were told that actually the groupon voucher purchased did not include alcohol (this was not stated anywhere on the voucher nor the website) however the waitress Farah insisted it was in the non existent terms and conditions. After waiting over an hour and fifteen minutes and numerous requests to staff for our main courses to arrive we decided to get the bill and leave. We happily agreed to pay the alcohol bill and service charge but declined to pay the service charge on the food bill for which we had already paid for the voucher yet not received any of our mains. The waitress refused the take off the OPTIONAL service charge and demanded we either pay the service or she would not accept our groupon voucher. This argument continued for over 20 minutes with the waitress being oblivious to the fact service charge is at the discretion of the customer and is non compulsory. We ended up paying the service charge and leaving as it seemed easier than arguing with incompetent morons. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE. TERRIBLE FOOD AND DISGUSTING CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!

Brilliant restaurant and brilliant food. Definitely going there again

I have never left a negative review on anything before, but I feel the need to write this. We just got back from my girlfriend’s birthday meal, and I’m still in shock from behaviour of the manager. We ordered a groupon, and upon arriving the management decided that the geoupon was incorrect (he decided alcoholic beverages weren’t included in a deal where it clearly specifies ANY drink.) This could have been resolved quickly, but the manager insisted in bending over my girlfriend and pointing in her face. He raised his voice and told her ‘are you quite finished?’ when she was explaining the problem. He then asked her ‘did you go to school?’ when she was trying to work out the bill. He also swore. I explained to him his body language and verbal language was disrespectful, and he ignored my comments. This man came across as misogynistic (would he have spoken this way if we were not just 3 women?)- and unprofessional would be an understatement. My only positive is that the food was nice. Compliments to the chef, but the manager was out of order. I wish I could give a negative star, as I have never come across such a condescending, unprofessional, rude manager in my life.

PHONY PLACE AVOID! it may have a crystal exterior but this place is a complete phony. The food is expensive and served in small portions just like the service and ambience!

Absolute waste of time. I would recommend that you avoid this place like the plague. Don't normally leave reviews...let alone negative reviews.. but we just got back from this restaurant and feel compelled to warn off others especially families with infants or disabled members or friends. The service was absolutely slow...and staff were confused 90% of the time. No manager on site either to provide any meaningful feedback to. To add to the extremley slow service some of our food that we initially ordered for my 16 month old son (which he never ate) to warm back up and bring out with the mains didn't turn up until we gave up on it and asked for the bill! And it wasnt taken off the bill either!!! The nail in the coffin for me was when we found that there is no baby changing or diabled toilet/facilities, we asked the staff and the lady there, who seems the senior in charge, suggested to my wife that we change a dirty nappy at our table on the sofa where not only us but others around us are having their dinner OR we do it on the floor of the women's toilets!! Bloody disgusting and ridiculous. Cannot imagine that this happens in a civilised society...the place looks to portray itself as an upmarket restaurant with the decor etc...but it's all looks and no substance! The cheek was the woman who seems to be the senior and made the comment about the toilet floor changing.. Was defending her statement and didnt understand what i was saying... repeatedly... until i had to ask her to stop digging herself a massive hole and simply cut the conversation and left the place in disgust. Avoid this place...

Read on.. the great story of Pink Turban where I failed to see the Pink Turban. The wonderful story of Pink Turban. Pros: - Ambience - Has free parking spaces albeit limited (at the backside) - All the items we tried were delicious. To name a few Chillie Chicken , Chillie Paneer, Paneer Tikka, Chikken Tilka, Tarka Daal and Lasooni Daal, Paneer Mains, Butter Chicken, Naan breads - Ambience is good Get ready for the cons,which takes away all the positives you read so far. - Service is pathetic, I.e the slowest I had ever faced anywhere in the world and I visited Saturday evening. Nothing comes on time, even the bill for which we waited 45 minutes before going to their bar to settle it off. To give you an example we waited 30 minutes for starter, 1 further hour for mains, 45 further minutes for deserts and 30 further minutes - the bill didn’t arrive we lost patience. - Drinks are super expensive and rip off - Food portion sizes are small Just as we finished eating Customers from almost 4 or 5 tables simply got up together and had a quarrel over food not being delivered order not being taken bill not b big shared or bill being wrong. This restaurant also saw the weird introduction of asking the customer to see th bills on their tablet as supposed to printing them as the bill printers were far away. Ohh yeah - Groupon app says drinks included, but in the restaurant they deny. They also got grumpy that we didn’t bring a print out of the groupon purchase which albeit mentioned in the fine terms and conditions in this age is going backwards... DO NOT VISIT. Save yourself some time in your life.

Worst experience of my life. After a really good comedy show today unfortunately we landed up at this place. Ordered our simple drinks like beer n coke with starters. Drinks came after 1 hour n when asked about starters repeatedly no response then had to get down near their kitchen and check if they were ready. Finally got them after 5 minutes wait there then we get to know we have wrong starters by then couple of other customers started complaining as well. After asking for bill asa starters came had to get up n go to them for paying it for which there was already a queue. Then after spoiling rest of our mood n complete chaos somehow paid bill n came out at last. Made a complete fool of ourselves there. I wish I had negative stars to give to this restaurant. Under new management it’s a complete chaos coz staff doesn’t even know how to hold a tray with food properly. I am not a person posting reviews generally but had to make others aware for this one. Staff are rude and not ready to apologise for their mistakes. Think thrice before heading to this place.

Just had a meal in this restaurant. What a disaster. Served wrong starters , mains were late awful and cold. Will never go to this place again. Horrible is an understatement.

I went to pink turban on mother's day went there many time first time service was slow but food was amazing as usual I don't blame anyone because it was busy time I think when we go for enjoyment we should talk only for the atmosphere food and venue not any other issue Love the food specially butter Chicken tandoori chops

It does not even deserve the 1 star! Went for Mothers day and it was terrible. I read some of the "good reviews" and thought it should be fine. How wrong was I? Lovely decoration inside because you have to stare at it forever until your food comes. Heres how our mothers day dinner went unfortunately... Very very slow service. Starters were cold and late. Drinks came 45 minutes after ordering. Asked for fresh glasses for water and the waitress bought one large tumbler glass! PATHETIC. There was 7 of us. Then mains came another hour later after asking 3 times for our food. Very very bland food and just not worth what your paying. Asked for the bill another 15 minutes later, asked for the manager to explain how our dinner was and she laughed. Soo annoyed.

Took 30 mins to receive drinks order and a further hour before the starters even arrived. Very average restaurant with substandard service. Every table in the restaurant appeared unhappy and complaining. Hopefully just a one off bad night, but wont be going back again

Worst experience ever! Waited 45 mins for starters which turned up cold and very small portions! Mango lassi was filled with ice not nice! Main turned up an additional 50mins later! When speaking to the manager she tried to imply that we ordered wrong when it was the waitress! Staff was unprofessional! Would not go to this place ever again! Avoid at all cost!

Very very unimpressed! Sooo disappointed. Such slow, unprofessional service. Took 45 minutes for starters and drinks. Finally drinks came and in a jug of lassi was more ice cubes than actual drink. Starters were cold. Ordered mains asap because of the wait and it still took ages, asked about three times for our food and was told yes just on the way. Don't bother guys!

Catered to British people's needs not an authentic Indian restaurant. Too expensive, example starter prawns was well presented with 4 king prawns for £9.50.

I celebrated my birthday with my family last night, and just have to share how well looked after we were from initially booking the table of 13, to the end of the night. I have NO complaints at all, simply praise for the staff, the management, the food (delicious) and the atmosphere. I know they went over and beyond to make it a special night for me, and for that i will be going back for sure.

It was a surprise Birthday Party for me.. My wife arranged it with some of my friends... The management and staff of the restaurant were really friendly and helped them in all the decorations/arrangements. You can't flaw the food at the restaurant.. it's one of the best in the area.. the service was exceptionally great.. all the guests were happy.. it was timely served and very well presented. The dance floor in the basement adds another star.. our friends spent a good while rocking on the dance floor.. A very special & memorable birthday at this venue!

We had our son's b'day party recently at Pink Turban on Sat lunch time, new management promise the world but not good experience on the day. Late serving starters leaving guests starving, not refilling starters, not serving salads and plain raita, disputing on the count of people during the party because chef says so from the kitchen. Greedy management turning their back on few promises and ruining the party mood. I would skip organising party there but may go on dinner occasionally.

Horrible Management. They are cheaters, its all about money for them. Farah lady ( New Management) is thief.She will charge you money if you organise a party but will not deliver food. Majority of guest will go home hungry.In the middle of party she turned around and told us that kitchen is closed and food is over...HOW RIDICULOUS. we paid for it and she simply didn't bother. STAY AWAY.

Very Rude staff, when they take bookings for party they are as sweet as sugar, on party day they ignore everything . we booked a party for 50 people and asked for buffet service, on party day they did prove us table service which was very poor, they didnt have enough food, half way through they said kitchen is closed and they cant serve more food. half of our guest went home hungry, On top of it they didn't serve any dessert to any of our guest, when it came to billing they increased the count of people to 55 wherein only 47 guest arrived and charged higher money. Be aware of lady Farah, she is amazing story maker and know how to make fool of people. Highly unprofessional and RUDE LADY! i will not recommend anyone to book their parties there. Moreover we lost few gifts which we never found. THIEVES THEY ARE!!

Been to the place (pink Turban) 1st time. 1st of all when we entered, no one attended us. After that when ordered food and drinks, I asked for a draft beer and the server got me a bottled beer instead.. I guess she didn't know what's called what. Anyway, the starters arrived and most common of things Paneer which was very chewy and tasteless (lacked flavour too). And the papdi chat was way spicey and it had dahi vada in the papdi chat instead of the papdi..! So we left half way and asked for the bill and also complained to them about the food. I would highly not recommend to go there.

Great decor. Hidden gem in regards to style, awesome food with lovely flavours. Good selection of food and drinks. Great music and s something for a romantic meal or a family get together! Should be busier than it is!

Came here for a hen do and hired out the downstairs part. Great staff and nice venue. Food and drinks were a bit of a let down. I didn't really enjoy my mocktail and the food arrived really late. Unfortunately the waiters appeared to be struggling to keep up with the amount of people they had to serve.

When enquiring about the menu, the staff had a very unpleasant attitude. Not feeling welcomed, I left.

Just got back from Pink Turban after a birthday celebration. The atmosphere is pleasant but seating is tight for group functions. Half our starters served to the wrong party and after they realised this approached us to accept the same food. No chance - they then had to cook a new batch I hope but doubt it.Even after pre arranging a menu they kept running out of our set items and offered to give us an extra item. The toilet's could have been maintained better no toilet rolls in the ladies toilets as reported by a couple of our guests.

Have now visited twice second time ent with all the family and none of them could find fault in the restaurant or service & the food is out of this world

I had dinner with my friends here on my birthday and this place didn't disappoint me! The Indian food here is probably the best you can have in the UK. The decor is chic! Loved everything about it and will visit again. Cheers!
