I am a new customer to this Restaurant and cannot believe the value and quality of food. My friends and I sampled four meals from their Indian range this weekend and we enjoyed every bite. If you haven’t tried Piggly wiggly you are missing out for sure

Went with a friend for dinner, we both got the steak and it was delicious, fantastic staff and very warm and welcoming atmosphere, bring your own wine is a lovely touch too, overall had a brilliant experience and will definitely be back!

Found out this place now open wed-sat evenings and you can BYO with no corkage even, the food was excellent and very pleasant and helpful staff- well worth a visit

Just been to Piggly Wiggly for the first but definitely not the last time. Spotlessly clean, very friendly service especially from Vic, owner /chef.,what a very nice man! I had the best fry ever and my wife had a toastie, again brilliant, can't wait to go back!

Had the steak and it was cooked to perfection, served with a delicious peppered sauce, chips and onion rings. Dessert was great, had the brownies and they where absolutely mouth watering! (Definitely a must try)

I wasn’t sure what to expect but it was truly excellent. I recommend the duck spring rolls or fish cakes for starter. Fish of the day was sea bass with kale and the most delicious beurre blanc - absolutely delicious

Still working (sort of locally) found on TripAdvisor, and figured I’d give it a chance, as I fancied a fry, not very busy, but clean & pleasant cafe. If I’m honest, I would have preferred bean & mushrooms, not either, and another rasher & egg would have justified the Large Tag, which I’d probably have gladly paid a bit more for, but I’ve a hearty appetite, but still enjoyable.

ive been in here loads of times, they have a very extensive menu and the service is top class. Its hard to get a good vegetarian menu but we discovered the vegetarian fry and my sister says its the best in the world. Would highly recommend here for something to eat

I popped in here Thursday afternoon for a coffee and something to eat. Their Ulster Fry was one of the best I have had in Belfast. The food is prepared to order (no rubbery bacon) and the beans were tangy. The price was very reasonable. I will definitely be back.

Visited here with friends on Sunday morning. Very clean and great quick service. The breakfast menu has a good range of dishes and I found it difficult to choose just one dish. I decided on the filled soda. Was delicious and the egg was perfectly cooked. I can’t fault this visit. Our whole table was pleased with the food and service. Will definitely be back.

The ambience is good, friendly staff. I had ordered sweet chilli chicken panini and a coffee latte, both were very good.

A really wonderful place for breakfast and lunch. The interiors are as good as the food. Wonderful hospitality and reasonable price for food. Everything is freshly served and the taste grazes the tongue. There are magazines to read as well if bored just sitting.

I have been there last week for a lunch which was fantastic. Alex McConnell nice intelligent girl she helped me out for a right dishes. Atmosphere is amazing staff are nice and friendly. I highly recommended this place we must come back definitely.

I’ve been to Piggly Wiggly’s a couple of times now, and customer service is great. Alex is so helpful and was there to help with my enquiries on the different occasions. The food is to an excellent standard and the cafe is always kept clean and tidy - I will definitely be back!

Passing by wet day ran in, what a good surprise. Place was very clean well laid out and the girl taking order was very friendly. When our food came it was great portions and Alex the front staff was so helpful offering more tea and coffee. Have been back now 5times and would say it'''s are go to place.

Popped into piggly wiggly for a quick lunch. Both of us had home made soup and toasties. Service was quick and waitress very pleasant. Soup was delicious and toastie well filled. Would definitely recommend piggly wiggly to my friends and family. Delicious food at very reasonable prices !

I go to Piggly's on a weekly basis with friends and it is always a great experience. The food has never once been below a superb standard and we never leave a bit on the plates.

Ordered a sweet chilli chicken panini to go. When I got to my place of work and opened it up I was highly disappointed! A soggy, half cooked, not even toasted panini with literally a few pieces of chicken and some sweet chilli sauce, not a vegetable or a bit of cheese in sight. Nothing else. It was so undercooked it didn't even stay closed. Also it was either processed chicken or turkey but it didn't taste good at all!

Nice grub - especially for brunch, friendly staff, competitive prices, nice atmosphere. This is a good spot for families, nothing fancy but a good Ulster fry at a reasonable price.

Has the best large fry about. Really nice sausages, bacon, eggs and tea. The staff and owners are really friendly and the cafe itself is clean and cosy. Has become my dad and I’s new spot for a decent fry. Would highly recommend the large fry and a pot of tea.

One of the best places to get a really good fry around East Belfast. Great coffee as well. Definitely worth a trip, especially if you're particularly hungry!

Pigglys🐖is the best small restaurant in East Nelfast. Great food, fabulous Ulster Frys 🍳and wonderful staff, nothing too much trouble. If you asked for just one mushroom with your fry, thats no problem!! Always greeted with a smile and lovely☕!!

If you are near Ballyhackamore in Belfast then you should drop into Pigglys. Great for a ☕ coffee or snack, but if you want something more substantial then stay for lunch. A great variety of home made food is available. You should try it.

had an amazing time in there the fry was just right amazing eggs, asked for mushrooms and beans extra with extra bacon and they were able to give me them the staff are absolutely lovely so kind and chatty just what you want on a saturday morning

Regularmente visitamos Piggly Wiggly para el desayuno, y siempre ha estado bien satisfechos con nuestras comidas. Siempre tenemos la pequeña yugoslavia con té para 2 y comidas son cocinados a la orden y siempre son deliciosos. Queríamos reservar para la cena de Navidad, pero por desgracia todavía trabajo y este sólo estaba disponible a la hora del almuerzo. Regular visita y estamos clientela siempre nos saludaron con un guiño o una conversación poco, hemos visitado regularmente así volveremos pronto, ahora.

We were looking for brunch, well after 12 noon, and found Piggly Wiggly did an all day breakfast. The portions were good, food was lovely and there was plenty of choice - even a vegetarian fry for my partner. It was very good value. I would consider it to be a great 'greasy spoon cafe' but in nice surroundings.

Me and my wife called in and both got a small fry with tea. Food came quickly, freshly cooked and with a high standard of quality and was delicious. I would recommend to everyone as the staff are friendly and it is very quaint and a great family atmosphere. I love Piggly Wiggly! It's not fancy, pretentious or overpriced. It's a little café full of charm where I know I'm always going to get a great cooked breakfast. I love the atmosphere and the staff have always been friendly. Going here is always a treat for me!

Saw some good reviews for this place and since myself and husband had a few hours to ourselves we thought we would pop in and check it out. The young man that served us was very polite and friendly. My husband said to him that he was hoping to get a steak but it wasn't on the menu and the young man explained that they had another menu for evening which started at 4pm. He said we could pick from that instead and it would be fine. It was only around 3 ish so we really were too early but we were reassured that it was perfectly fine and they were happy to let us choose earlier than normal, so we decided to go all out and had starters of battered mushrooms with a really tasty garlic dip, chicken wings with barbecue sauce then steak and lasagne. The steak was cooked to perfection and the pepper sauce that came with it was gorgeous.Lasagne was piping hot and was just perfect. Will definitely be back here for another visit soon.

My wife and I nipped in here after hearing a couple of people mentioned the fry ups were awesome. We both on the other hand opted for steak sandwiches. Beautiful and extremely reasonably priced. Great service, bright decor and would highly recommend.

Hadn't been here for quite a few years. Has obviously changed hands and style of food. Ended up here recently due to traffic jams affecting my original plans. Was here with my and grand-daughter and her friend, both 6. The kids had sausage and chips whilst my wife had a panini. I opted for a club sandwich. The kids loved theirs whilst my wife said the panini was ok. I was impressed by the club sandwich which was both filling and tasty.

Went with the family for Sunday lunch. Server was polite, friendly and couldn't have been more helpful. Vegetable broth starter was fresh and really tasty. The roast beef main was the most tender beef I've ever had, gorgeous! Banoffe for dessert was also top notch! Price was so reasonable and we noted that it's BYO in the evenings so we will definitely be back with a bottle of wine :)

Visited here for lunch with my parent. Awful service, waited 20 minutes to then be handed extremely bland watery tasteless soup and chicken goujons with garlic cubes that were again tasteless and overpowering with bbq sauce. After complaining about the wait and the poor quality of food we were advised that the boss was not willing to deduct the poor quality of soup off the bill. lovely little café very friendly and homely , the staff are very attentive without being in your face , we have only been in for breakfast so far , but looking forward to lunch or dinner some day if its as good as the fry we will be very pleased indeed . the price is very good too, not to expensive and of course its great to get a top up in your coffee

I treated myself to a spot of lunch today at the Ballyhack favourite Piggly Wiggly. Vic and Sid took over the place last year and have some amazing plans. Vic cooked me a mouth watering 4 chicken goujons stack topped with bacon and cheese, drizzled with BBQ sauce and served up with garlic potato cubes and all for under £8. Signature dish is the club sandwich but the frys are to die for!!!

So glad Piggly's is open for evenings again! Love the new menu, and free bring your own. My husband and I called in on Saturday evening and had a beautiful meal - he had the chilli nachos to start and the goujon stack for his main, while I had the chilli con carne for my main, and chocolate brownie and ice-cream for dessert. The chilli was perfectly spiced, and the rice and nachos served with it were delicious. My husband really enjoyed his goujon stack, and was impressed with how fresh and crispy the goujons tasted. staff were really friendly, as it's bring your own they kept our drinks in the fridge for us and kept us topped up all night. lovely atmosphere, will be back again soon!

My husband is quite picky about his breakfast and he loves Piggly Wiggly. You can have your stuff grilled if you don't want it fried but if you do get it fried, it is still not super fried and dripping in oil!We go to Piggly Wiggly regularly (once a week or so) and we also had lunch there with our 6 years old daughter. I believe half of their normal menu is kids friendly, and they also have a kids menu on top of that.The staff is very polite and so helpful.Not too many places to seat though, so I probably shouldn't write such a raving review or next time we go it may be full!!

Called in for meal with Husband and grandson,what a lovely bright and very clean place I believe it has recently been taken over by Vic and his uncle who are hoping to renovate soon the food was delicious and served by a very friendly young man called Greg who also entertained our grandson Will definitely be back

Friends and I regularly have a small fry. The staff are very friendly and are eager to adjust menus for personal preferences. The fry comes hot and freshly made. We usually phone in our order and meals are on the table within minutes of our arrival.
