Cafe Continental in Belfast

Best thing about my walk to work! Although I haven't seen him around lately. Never feel shy in asking for a coffee suggestion - this place knows its beans!

Van es un llamativo Citreon vintage que encontrará aparcado en la plaza agradable blackstaff, justo detrás de un edificio emblemático y las principales atracciones turísticas. Esperando el autobús o el tren en la estación de la Calle victoria cerca de GT? No muy lejos están las cadenas grandes de café, sólo omnipresente skip ellos y ir aquí y descansar un rato. Pablo claramente conoce y es un apasionado de su café; es uno de los mejores en Belfast. Atención rápida y amable, muy buena relación calidad-precio, muchos de los clientes regulares de regreso. Altamente recomendado.

Cafe Continental has great coffee, friendly service and is cheaper than Starbucks. A Belfast treasure that's also a great (movable) landmark in the city centre that provides a welcome taste of European living.

Sólo he ido a la cafetería continental durante los últimos 6 meses, pero lo más importante a tener en cuenta es que es el único lugar que vaya para el café ahora!!! Sin duda alguna el mejor café en Belfast y abre temprano!! El fantástico café es sólo una faceta. Paul, el dueño es simplemente el mejor ser humano que he conocido en mucho tiempo y me alegro de poder llamarlo amigo. Cada encuentro es histriónico, lo que añade a la experiencia. Me gusta un buen café. Y es por eso que soy un cliente habitual de la cafetería continental. Hice un pequeño experimento y fuimos a un lugar diferente de café que estaba usando el mismo granos de café de cafetería continental. Mi café americano - era barato, pero, pero... Era una enorme taza de café diluido super. Había un ligero sabor de café que sé, pero lejos lejos bajo el agua, y todo lo que no: (

Nos dieron una de las mejores experiencias de café hoy en Belfast. Descubrimos este van estrafalario y de moda de la parte trasera de Fibber Magees. El café fue el mejor que he probado en años y servicio al cliente inigualable. El propietario fue encantador y un placer hablar con ellos. Dar una oportunidad a este sitio. Ir a encontrarlo. Es así que vale la pena el esfuerzo.

Probé este café esta mañana de madrugada en el camino al trabajo, y yo estaba súper impresionado! El servicio era fantástico, mi vainilla latte era increíble, y realmente respetan el propietario para tener un esquema de café suspendido - que es una cosa que hacer increíblemente amable, y soy un fan de esta iniciativa. Sin duda ello una parada regular (:

Fuimos para café al menos dos veces, como el 'Café' está bastante cerca de la oficina. Estoy muy precisa sobre mi café, y el Café Continental no me decepcionó. Swift, servicio amable combinada con un excelente café que convencer a mano cualquiera que toma su café seriamente en volver. La iniciativa de café que han suspendido es genial.

This Van is situated just around from my office and it offers a range of good breakfasts and drinks. I usually go for hot chocolate, its really nice and good value also.

Paul and his coffee are my favourite things about Thursday's! Actually go to work skipping knowing I'm going to get my favourite coffee, served by the most charismatic, friendly, humanitarian people you'll ever meet! All of this, wrapped up in a charming coffee truck, makes my Thursday's rather perfect. Literally the best coffee in Belfast, and always served with a smile and a brilliant chat! Paul, you're one in a million, thanks for making the start to the weekend manageable!!

Paul serves great coffee from 7am in the morning from his little van behind The Crown. He has a very good reward scheme and the service is extremely personal. All coffee is £2 between 7am and 11am. The flat white is the best in Belfast.

Customer service second to none. Very cute set up. Paul always wants to please his customers. Best coffee ever.

I cannot review this place highly enough. As mentioned in other raving reviews, the coffee is out of this world. None of the chain store crap. If you're after a proper coffee in a lovely setting then this is the place to go

Everything about my flying visit to cafe continental was delightful. Paul the owner was engaging and friendly and happily chatted while making my wonderful flat white. If you're a coffee aficionado or not, I recommend avoiding the chains on the street behind churning out their buckets of milk and substandard espresso and coming here instead. I just wish the van had a bigger engine and could park up near my home or work in Derry!

Having toured around NI looking for an even passable coffee, to discover Cafe Continental was like finding a golden nugget in your Everyday Value muesli. Perfectly textured milk at the perfect temperature in the right size cup. None of your piss-weak coffee in a sea of scalding hot milk here. The best flat white I've had outside of Australia. Everything spot on and the attention to detail was brilliant to see - every cup carries the legend, 'Love to love you". I've a sneaking suspicion the owner is a Donna Summer fan, but don't hold that against him. Not sure if Donna was big into her coffee, but never mind, I love to love this place. The brownie and breakfast bar were awesome too. It's out of the way, you may have to go looking to find it and the square where it is located might not be considered the most salubrious. Disregard all of that - you're here for the coffee and it is well worth the detour.

I cant recommend this place highly enough. Best coffee in Belfast, food fantastic and the sharpest dresser in town! The sun hits perfectly in the square. I was there with my 3 year old and we were given a great welcome!

I started going to Cafe Continental recently on a recommendation made by my colleague. I was not disappointed. This vintage Citroen van brews up the best coffee in Belfast. I choose to go here over the coffee shops on Linenhall Street and Bedford Street (area I work in) because it is superior, made with love and the owner is the friendliest person I have met since moving to Belfast. He doesn't just dish out the best coffee but also a tasty vegetarian lunch! Cheese and tomato croissants and pastries filled with sweet potato, mushrooms and herbs with all the allergens are labelled clearly. And no extra charge for soya milk!! :)Don't miss out, Belfast!!

Really great food and fantastic coffee. A great start to my day when I'm in the area. Just behind the crown and robinsons bar.

Just happened upon the cafe on a walk to the bus station, now I go out of my way for a mocha. Coffee is delicious with friendly service and a cool atmosphere. Definitely a gem of Belfast!

This customised Citroen is full of character, staff are friendly, a welcome break during your day. Lovely when sun's out sittin watchin everyone else run about. It really adds to blackstaff square.

Gorgeous vintage van, really friendly staff and, most important of all, fantastic coffee. So lovely to see something other than the usual corporate anonymous chains in Belfast. Give it a go - you won't be disappointed.

I love this place. The staff are extremely friendly and the coffee is great. I come here every morning on the way to work and Paul and Jud always make the morning better.

I come to this vintage little van every day for the fab coffee and the chat.Great service and friendly banter from the male owner.I work next to Nero but go out of my way to come to this little place for the great tasting coffee and nice staff. Their bagels are lovely too.Totally recommend it!

Very chic coffee van with incredibly helpful barristas. Great coffee smells and friendly smiles percolate from the old beans behind the counter. The flat white is just right. Really great that I can sit outside in what is a relatively quiet spot amidst the city grind. Love it and will definitely be back!

Cafe continental rocks! And gives the place a real bit of style. Great coffee, tea and yummy veggie delights at really really reasonable prices. The guy who works there is so lovely and sweet and helpful, you just know he genuinely wants you to enjoy your experience. Quality is obviously very important here as well... You can even sit outside on lovely little tables adorned with vases of flowers - it's the little things that make a difference...I think I'm going to see if he can cater my wedding :-)

Best coffee in Belfast by a country mile, I absolutely love the flat white coffee it is so good, and the service is always really good, the staff are lovely, always so freindly and chatty. Very nice people with really good food and coffee.

If you have high standards where coffee is concerned make sure to stop at cafe continental. This lovely little coffee outlet is just behind the Crown bar, and brings a welcome bit of quirky style to the area. Paul really cares about providing the best for his customers, both in terms of the coffee he sells and the service he provides. My favourite!

Love the coffee and the aroma everyday as i walk past it to work. I felt its a bit pricey compare to other coffee shops around. I would give 5 / 5 if the price is a bit less. Service is good .

I had turned up based on the recommendation but found the male staff member to be arrogant and rude. Which is a shame, as the coffee is nice.

Found this today and we stopped for a coffee and warm ciabatta ---- Jud was really pleasant and helpful and the ciabatta was just delicious! Mmmmmm! I will definitely be back next time I'm in Belfast. My advice? Go and enjoy!!!! Oh and when we ordered our second coffee, this very nice man paid for them along with his own... A random act of kindness! Thank you sir!!!

Visited Belfast with the Concord Pipe Band. The coffees and cappuccino's made by Paul and his staff are excellent. Great service and a good place to start the day. Skip your breakfast coffee at the hotel and go directly to this nice little coffee cart ! ! !

As a local who prefers good quality and value I'd recommend cafe continental. A great choice of good food and the service is excellent from a very friendly and chatty lad. He's gone to a fair bit of effort to improve the standards often on offer in the city centre and has even put a few chairs and tables so you don't have to eat leaning against a wall. It's a good place to grab a coffee or chill for a while as there isn't much traffic to contend with. The prices are very fair and any time I've been there it's been a relaxed and civilised experience

I was so impressed by Cafe Continental. It's so refreshing to have something different in Belfast City Centre - a change from the usual chain store coffee shops and cafes. It's in a very central location - perfect for getting out the office for coffee breaks or lunch. I stopped by during a busy day to grab a bite to eat and warm up with a coffee. The service, the food and the coffee were all excellent. I'll definitely be back soon!

popped by for a coffee & pastry after seeing his advert in GayNI magazine and found the service to be exceptional. really good to chill out and see the world go by! Paul is a very approachable and friendly chap and took time to chat to me. Look forward to visiting again

Stopped off here for a bite to eat on my way to the office. A beautiful art deco styled vintage van converted into a cafe with lovely picnic tables set out in the square around it. Service was first class, hot chocolate was amazing and the pastry was mouth watering. I'd highly recommend this place - a real hidden gem. I'll be back for sure - and i'll be bringing my friends!!
