Great dinner at Riva Blue this evening. Staff, as always, so lovely and welcoming. Attentive service with a wonderful smile. Ylenia was so helpful and went out of her way to make my birthday night special. Highly recommend this place.

We had a fantastic meal tonight. The food and service was outstanding. Ylenia served our table and she was attentive, kind, caring and extremely helpful. We are already planning our return. Thank you soo much.

Way overpriced, there was a group of us, I had the Calzone came to the table hot which was great, mainly crust hardly any filling, so asked for some chilli oil and some garlic oil, I was charged for these normally free condiments, then had to pay a service charge. Feel ripped off & will never go there again. Might sound posh but less than mediocre food and everything is extra, except for salt & pepper.

We loved our lunch. Good food, good wine and the sun! Ylenia looked after us very well. Even bringing water for my dog without being asked and a cushion for my mum to sit on. Brilliant service

We had a large group booking of 15 people and the staff were just brilliant - from booking everything and sorting the pre-orders to the actual day where the staff were so friendly and welcoming, they could not do enough for us. The food was lovely and came very quick and all at the same time! Would 100% come back here and would recommend to anyone.

We go here regularly and once again today we had a wonderful welcome, excellent service from Francesco and Stefania and superb food. And another lovely visit today well served by Giorgio and Maria. Once again fabulous food. We had lunch here again today. Wonderful food. Someone in the kitchen understands complementation of taste. Very warm welcome from Francisco (who always remembers what we like to drink) and from Maria, Giorgio and Paulo.

Our daughter requested to come here For her 9th birthday meal out! Service and food always perfect! We love coming here xx

We had a lovely lunch here on my wife’s birthday. The staff were all very friendly and couldn’t do enough for us, particularly our server, Maria, who was brilliant. Food was absolutely delicious, and the atmosphere convivial. Dining and bar spaces were also very pleasant. Would heartily recommend this place.

My husband, myself and our granddaughter visited Riva yesterday evening after attending a appointment in the area. I would just like to thank the staff they were excellent and the food was amazing. We have visited Italy many times and Riva on lots of occasions. Well done team for in my opinion delivering possibly the best Italian food I have had the privilege of eating in a long time . Just had the best Lasagna ever! Service and staff , outstanding.

They certainly know how to cook meat! Will continue to work through menu. Nice people too. We had a small complaint once and they couldn’t do enough to rectify it - always a sign of a good restaurant. Come and enjoy!

Elenia The stuff is very good and they made us feel very very welcome. The food was good and they sold my daughter’s happy birthday very well. Thanks. The only thing I found was the Coca-Cola was £4.25 for a glass which I believe is daylight robbery apart from that everything else was good

We were a large group with multiple families and several children including a baby. We were well greeted and well attended by the waitress and waiters. They ensured the food was right and everyone was happy. The food was good and most agreed that they had enjoyed the meal. It was more expensive than I imagined and not sure the extra expense was justified for myself. I would still recommend the place for the odd occasion.

The food was absolutely delicious, and they even sang “Happy Birthday,” which was such a lovely touch. The cocktails were superb, and the personable service throughout the night made the experience unforgettable. Highly recommend Riva for great food, drinks, and outstanding hospitality.

Very disappointed with our mains. Such a shame as our starters (Arancini) was very tasty, won't be coming back unfortunately.

Food was ok but portions tiny, nearly £20 for a small plate of dry pasta! They also charged us £1 to add tomato sauce to a pizza. Nice setting & staff friendly but we were terribly disappointed by the portion sizes and were all still hungry when we left.

Delicious risotto and enjoyable dessert, just a bit on the small side for me. Risotto was a good portion though.

went to the springs restaurant tonight as our anniversary dinner, we had been once before as well and the service has always been amazing , staff always very attentive and the food is great as well , my partner said it was the best lasagna he has ever had. the waiter harry who looked after us was amazing as well great service from him he must be a valued member of team who also had great dessert recommendations , well done , cannot wait to be back soon 10/10 👍

We would just like to say a big Thank You to all the staff at Riva Blu, The Springs, Leeds, who were there last night catering for our party of 13, you all did an amazing job and really made the Birthday celebrations feel extra special. Shout out to Harry, as usual, delivering outstanding customer service.

2nd Visit today. Really will not return. Not one of us enjoyed our main meals. Just the arancini and even that was slightly cold. Infact most of the food was Luke warm my cappuccino was flat cold. Staff are incredibly pleasant but I never agree with service charges. I have always tipped the staff but don't like it to be added to bill. Very disappointed as I do love the springs I know they are the same chains as the previous but the food has definitely gone down hill In response to Francesco who can not even get my name correct! Or are you calling be Debbie for some other reason??! Now thinking management maybe as terrible as the food!

This restaurant has changed hands over the years but this is the best visit I have had so far. Harry the waiter was very attentive and served with a friendly smile. The front of the house lady was also very welcoming. The food was excellent, out of the group of 3 we had only compliments. I had the meatballs and semifreddo for dessert.

Harry’s an angel, had a great meal but he made our night! Always a pleasure x

After visiting the Manchester branch with my partner, I decided to take my Dad to this one as it’s only down the road from us! Sadly a very disappointing experience here, despite taking our order within 5 minutes of seating us - the service after was very slow! Starter arrived within 25 minutes but was another 40 minutes if not more for our mains which were all ordered at the same time so really shouldn’t have taken so long! Trying to grab a waiter’s attention was very difficult as they were constantly focused on a large party booking at one of the other tables. The “COTOLETTA DI POLLO” was highly disappointing for the £23.50 price, it was literally 2 very thin pieces of breaded chicken (like cardboard not an overreaction) with a plop of sauce, it was very dry and not even slightly tasty. No extras included like fries, spaghetti, pasta etc. Very overpriced for what it was. Nobody asked us whether our meal was okay while we were eating it and only after was it queried, we told the waiter the issues with the dish and he returned to say the chef apologised and dessert was on him, handing us two dessert menus. My Dad didn’t really want a dessert and was kind of over the whole experience after the disappointing main course, when the waiter returned I told him he didn’t want one and just wanted a Cappuccino instead and ordered my choice of dessert. When the bill arrived the cappuccino was still charged to it? The total of the two items would have still been £10 less than the terrible main course. We didn’t even want a freebie but the waiter offered! Trying to get their attention (again) to finally pay the bill was another 10 minute challenge. Service really needs to be improved, it really wasn’t worth the £77 bill for just two people.

Best restaurant I've been to for as long as I can remember!

Amazing prawn bruschetta very well balanced with chilly and olive oil. A superb ensemble to start your dinner and to finish off a stressful week. Beautiful and relaxing place managed by a vibrant Italian staff who look after you with the smile always on! We will come back for sure!!!!!

Staff were all very nice Service very slow Starters took 40 minutes to be served - We could see them sat under the lamps for 15 minutes Mains took even longer and even then Margherita pizza under cooked and mozzarella wasn’t even cooked - not worth waiting over an hour for ! Expensive for the experience

45+ mins wait for food for two people, service could be better too. The Pizza Capricciosa was mostly just tasting like a tomato? would give it a 2/5. However, The spaghetti carbonara was a show stopper, an absolute gorgeous bowl of spaghetti. Would genuinely come back and wait 40 mins again for this dish. Would also advise that it is very good value for money if you get the correct items. (don't get the bruschetta). Overall, i enjoyed the food and atmosphere so i would come again

Came here for my partner's birthday and had a lovely evening. Really lovely food, very obliging and friendly staff. Would recommend sitting nearer the back as the front is a little drafty by the door. Definitely recommend the duck and the seabass, and I'm told the hazelnut espresso martini was good. Dessert was just perfect!

As a longstanding Piccolino's loyalist - I've had cause to be over Thorpe Park way in recent months - and naturally made Picolo's my go to for business meets. Service, team, food - atmosphere has been nothing short of exceptional. For me - works for pretty much every situation - quiet solo lunch, family or corporate. That's a tough balance to achieve - but it does. Love it.

Popped in today (Sunday) without a reservation and we were accomadated with a table. Food very good, service brilliant and we weren't rushed even though we only had 1 hr as the table was booked out again. Took coffee at the bar. Will go again and this time book

Came for evening meal with a large group. Easy to get to and plenty of parking. Waitresses were helpful upon arrival getting our drinks order and showing us to our table. Unlike many other restaurants, service for a large group was good. Orders taken and food arrived very quickly. We were asked regularly if we'd like more drinks. Unfortunately the food was the real let down. Foccacia bread for starters was extremely dry and burnt and covered in salt! There was no sign of rosemary, which the menu said it had. Would have been improved if served with balsamic vinegar. The mains unfortunately didn't get any better. Portions were very small. Lasagne came like a bowl of soup. Bolognaise sauce with little meat and just a small piece of lasagne again burnt to the bottom of the dish in the middle. It was served with nothing else. Such a shame the food was poor, cos otherwise a pleasant, welcoming place in a good location.

Harry was an enthusiastic, hard worker and a joy to have as our server. He went above and beyond for our large table of 17 and we couldn’t fault him in any way. Unfortunately, this wasn’t the case for other staff members who criticised him in front of us in an upsetting way. The food was beautiful and the service we received from Harry was outstanding. Staff very friendly and helpful. Seated in atrium which had a nice buzz about it but very drafty. Visited during 50% off promotion - enjoyed our meals but wouldn't have been happy to pay full price for portion size. Wine by glass is expensive (£7.50 for 175ml) but bottle not too bad by today's standards (£24).

The food was really tasty and service was lovely. I have been served twice by our server, Harry in the past week. He is always on the ball and really enthusiastic to ensure you’re having a good time. 10/10 service

Had a lovely family lunch today. It was made extra special by the young man who served ud. He was knowledgeable, friendly and professional.. my Mother inlaw had panecotta and said it was the best she had ever had!!

We have went out for a lunch break to Piccolo as it was one of the restaurant that offered nice vegan/vegetarian food but also had other options available. I must say that I was positively surprised by how good the food turned out. We had Branzino and Pollo Tartufo which even though they looked like small portions, they were really filling but didn't make us bloated. Staff was also really friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this place but I wouldn't provably be visiting it frequently due to pricing. It is fair but a bit above my budget to make it regular. Update 24/01/24: With the new promotion for January, we have decided to try few more items from menu and we weren't disappointed. Duck literally melted in the my mouth and my friends advised me that steak and fish were amazing as well (see added photos). The desserts were also really good and even after having main course and dessert, we still felt amazing and ready for more albeit we run out of time and had to go back. I was also really surprised by the back which I haven't seen before but you can see as the food is cooking and there is even stove which I believe is for making pizzas (again, see photos). We plan to bring more colleagues from office next week and will definitely try some more amazing dishes.

We’ve just had our small works festive menu do. Food was lovely, staff were excellent- very enjoyable. We were in at 3pm so it was a little quiet but still a lovely atmosphere

Myself and partner decided to eat there for lunch, it was a disappointment, my pizza margherita was without taste In fact bland, I had a glass of chardonnay, not good, tasted more like pinot. My partner was equally dissatisfied, he left half of his meal, the staff were very nice, the decor was beautiful very clean. But the food left much to be desired. We will not be going back.!

The food is ok, not amazing but not bad either. It’s pretty pricey for what it is and during a lunch service took ages to arrive on the table. The restaurant was barely full too, unsure how they’d cope with every table being booked.

Waited ages for both food courses. Both the prawn bruschetta starter and prawn and courgette linguine for main were really bland and only given flavour by some calabrese chilli from another diner’s pizza. The young guy who served us was great but the wait between courses was crazy long.
