Pho in Merton

A reliably good and reasonably priced restaurant, centrally located in Wimbledon. The children's menu has a good range of options, and there are nice extras such as the Vietnamese coffee.

My husband and myself visited this restaurant this evening with the intentions of savouring authentic Vietnamese cuisine. Well, on the whole a reasonable dining experience but I did mention to the manager that chicken pho contained bare and minimal amt of chicken. It was a compromised dish agreed by the manager very kindly who then offered us a small discount on the total bill.

Really enjoyable dinner. We went on a weeknight so it was relatively quiet. Service was great, orders taken swiftly and we got a refill of water without having to prompt anyone. Didn't feel rushed the whole dinner and everything was dealt with efficiently with a smile. Drink: bf had the carrot juice. I think he enjoyed it. I had the house white which I wouldn't recommend to drink on its own but with the food it was great. Food: Starter: they didn't have the spicy summer roll so we have the veggie summer roll and the chicken summer roll. Very good, fat and tasty rolls, and the dipping sauce really made it. They give you two rolls but in half, both chunky, but could have done with a third. Main: chicken pho: delicious, can't fault it. Thought the sides and the herbs were delicious. Bf had the 3 meat rice bowl. Looked delicious and he seemed to enjoy it! Would be more than happy to come back here again, there are so many tasty options on the menu to try and at very affordable prices especially for Wimbledon.

Visited wimbledon restaurant yesterday at lunchtime hoping to use an offer I had been given at another Pho restaurant as we had been messed around with seating and the food wasn't up to their usual standard ( chicken not cooked properly) I was given the card and told it was "Buy one meal get one on the house" Upon producing the voucher card at wimbledon we were eventually told it only referred to "Pho" meals, My understanding was ALL the food on the menu was, "Pho" food. So although the food was good, it was disappointing they wouldn't honor the voucher, that expires end of this month.

We went for a midweek family meal for my daughter’s 17th birthday with grandparents and siblings. Our very friendly waitress, Shade, was excellent; she ran through in detail all dishes on the (big) menu with a smile very patiently. The food was delicious. Thank you Shade!

Fantastic venue with authentic food but the service is slow and unattentive. Would come back but watch your bill when paying!

Had light lunch there today. The service was good, the server who seated us and took our order was polite, even the food was good. The place was pretty clean. The sting was in the tail. When you are paying almost £8 service charge on a £55 bill you would expect everything to be checked and perfect. It’s only after I left the cafe and checked my email bill I noticed they had charged my £8.50 for one Saigon beer bottle. Even on their own menu it says £4.75. I know I was “only” charged £3.75 extra. It’s not the amount it’s the PRINCIPLE. I was hoping to return for dinner next week with the family, however sadly I shan’t be returning anytime soon and warning all my friends.

Great welcome at this restaurant buzzing on a Friday night. Lovely food and very friendly service. Portions very generous. Will definitely be back.

If you have an afternoon to kill, pay a visit to Pho. We waited nearly an hour for our 'fast-food' Vietnamese street food. Eventually, we discovered: 1. the chef made the wrong dish which 2) when made properly, was given to a different table, before 3) he had to start again. We were offered some prawn crackers to munch on while we endured the long wait and the manager knocked £12 off the bill. But that was pretty much our Saturday afternoon ruined, and that's worth more than £12.

Lovely lunch with family, good service and leasant staff. We decided to have a lot of starters and place them on the middle of the table and tucked in. The squid was not very good, flavourless.

First time at Pho Wimbledon. The food was excellent and as the same standard as the other Pho Cafe. The service was a bit all over the place. None of the two guys on duty knew what they were doing and also spilling things everywhere. The only one who was clued in was the Manager on duty. The other lady on duty was busy to try and take orders from all the tables. Probably trying to get more tips.

We popped in without a booking on a Saturday early evening. It was busy so we’re delighted that they squeezed us in. The food came quickly, was absolutely delicious and was delivered with a smile. Decent price too - what’s not like! 5 stars.

We popped in for a quick bite before an evening event. We both had the spicy chicken noodle soup and were not disappointed. Well presented with a side dish of herbs and extra hot chillies, the service was also excellent and very friendly. Certainly recommended, and we will definitely revisit and explore the menu in more depth.

Friendly service and good options for vegans, pho xao veg my favourite.will be back soon. My son had the pho veg and love it.

I had lunch at Pho Wimbledon today with a friend. I ordered wok fried noodles with chicken. What a waste of money and disappointment! It was 90% noodles, 5% veg and 5% chicken, and it lacked flavour. How can you serve a plate of rice noodles with very little else !! The staff were very friendly but it's not worth a visit. I have eaten at Pho Islington and Pho Chiswick but had the rice dishes there, those were 5/5. I won't be visiting Pho Wimbledon again, don't waste your money

Welcoming staff, pleasant greeting, nothing seemed to be too much trouble when asked for things. Food was well cooked, we ordered a takeaway meal. Would go back.
