I have never had a bad plate at Petit Biarritz. For tapas the plates are generous and really packed with flavour, whether veg, fish, or meat. The Korean crispy chicken remains a firm favourite, and the cheese and leek croquettes are always a delight. Bao buns are great. I could go on. No need. The ambience is relaxed, the service snappy (although I've only ever been when it has been quiet) , and the food is always worth looking forward to. Just go. You won't be disappointed.

I was so looking forward to our meal there and we were not disappointed. restaurant was lively was assorted tables. small plates menu is absolutely 10 out of 10 and food is so well presented. the various dishes were so good and catered for vegetarian tastes as well. on top of that the staff are magnificent. thank you for a most enjoyable evening.

Was a bit reluctant to visit due to other reviews, however the food was amazing. Staff friendly and efficient. Nice atmosphere and lovely decor. Would definitely go again.

This is a really lovely little addition to Newcastle Emlyn. We visited and it was busy but service was really good; so friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the tapas and were pleased that there were such a range of dishes. We were able to order glasses of fizz and found the decor to be tasteful. Would definitely recommend to anyone who enjoys tapas. We’ll be back!

Been a couple times and food was fine but last night the food was horrendous, no taste, cold, burnt taste. Given few of us a bad belly. Waitress didn't know the difference between duck or lamb. This could have caused allergies issues. No ice at the bar! For the price...not worth it and definitely will not be returning

We decided to try somewhere new over our regular favourite of Yr Hen Printworks in Cardigan for a girls night out. Overall we were disappointed which is a shame as the food we did eat was very good. Firstly, the decor of a very dark blue was so gloomy and oppressive we struggled to read menus and actually see our food, definitely need to improve the lighting which will have an immediate impact on ambience. The music was also too loud and we had to ask to have it turned down. The evening didn’t continue well when we were told on asking for the cocktail menu ‘No cocktails tonight we have a wedding on next door’. This became the theme of the evening and we definitely felt like poor relations in the restaurant…….and we had checked ahead before booking to make sure Friday nights would be a good night for coming so as not to be impacted by the hotel hosting a wedding. All our first choices on the menu were unavailable ‘because we have a wedding on’ which was a real kicker - we would have left at that point had we somewhere else close by to go to. We persevered and I’m pleased to say that the food we did order was in fact very good. There was no option of fizz or bubbles by the glass but the bottle of red we ordered was very good - the Portuguese Tinto, the evening did end on a high note as the pudding was superb - Café Gourmand Trio of Desserts with an Expresso shot. I would definitely advise to check in advance if booking to make sure you won’t be competing with a wedding night and remember to bring your specs!

Lovely Venue. Petite Biaritz has both a deli and uses the Emlyn Hotel as a restaurant venue. We ate in the restaurant which was romantic and very tasteful. The food, oh the food! Tapas were really delicious and deserts amazing. What a coup for Emlyn to have a venue like this. You’ve got to go.

This restaurant is new to Emlyn and it’s fantastic. They serve a tapas menu with a mixture of dishes including Spanish and English. We had chilli prawns, patatas bravas, squid, braised beef cheeks and a fantastic cod dish. I’ve had tapas before when everything seemed too salty, these dishes were all seasoned beautifully. Every single thing was superb. The girls serving in the restaurant were lovely too, very helpful and friendly. Great little asset for the town. Recommended.
